The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Jinka listened to the doctor's instructions, though they'd kind of gone in one ear and out the other. He was so excited to be able to roam about freely, though he'd have to do some exploring before he could do some of them. It would take a while to figure out the layout of the mansion. Knowledge of his abilities would make that easier, but he could get by normally until then.
"Oh...," His brows knitted together, gazing drifting to Liz for a moment, "I did bring some, but my grandpa didn't tell me where he put them. I suppose I'll find them eventually." He felt a bit awkward walking around with one foot exposed, but there were worse conditions to find oneself in. The boy stretched his arms above his head, "I knew I should've gone with him, but there were so many stairs." His windbreaker whistled as his arms dropped back down to his sides. The idea of checking every room trying to find the one his grandpa left his things in was tedious, but there wasn't much else he could do.

Elizabeth took in what Jinka said and nodded briskly. “Oh, I see,” she said, processing the information. Jinka hadn’t been the one to bring his stuff in - it seemed he was so new he hadn’t even settled in before reporting to the infirmary.
She smiled again for the umpteenth time. “Well, that shouldn’t be a problem then,” she said, watching the boy stretch fully, possibly for the first time since he’d messed up his ankle. “If your grandfather settled you in, he would’ve been with one of our greeters or faculty. I can quickly check the main office for you and figure out what room you’re assigned to.”
Liz glanced down at Jinka’s bare foot. “Let’s go ahead and do that, shall we? That way we can at least get you some proper footwear.” She chuckled good-naturedly.
“You can leave the crutches here if you wish,” Doc piped up. “I can handle disposing of them.”
“Thanks again for the tools, Doc!” Liz said.
“My pleasure, as always, Elizabeth. Now, go get young Jinka here taken care of. We’ll speak again shortly,” he said, picking up his clipboard and files.
“Sounds good,” the blonde said, beginning to stride toward the automatic doors on the infirmary. “Ready?” she said, glancing back at Jinka.
Jinka nodded slowly, remembering the person that met them when they'd arrived. He didn't really get the option to follow them, he was just escorted to the infirmary and they went on. It was a strange order in which to do them, but it was possible his assignment was deeper in the mansion."That... makes sense."
He noticed her gaze move down to his feet and he curled his toes inward a little, nervously chuckling. He scratched the back of his head, "Yes, please..." He followed Liz as she made her way toward the doors. The boy looked back as they walked, smiling to Doc, "Thank you." His speed slowed, but only for a moment as he left the man with his gratitude.
Jinka noticed Liz was already stepping out the door and jogged to catch up, his footsteps alternating between a silent step and skin slapping tile, "Yeah, let's go."
