Character
Personality:
Hercules is a champion of the people. All people, human, mutant, mystic and ‘those who can adapt’. If there is an injustice Hercules will try and right it. If someone needs saving he feels compelled to help. He was raised to be a hero after all. Even if no one asks for his help. “You’re Welcome!” which often creates tension between him and his mystic ‘Master/s’.
Hercules has a hard time lying. It’s apparent. Often.
Hercules has a hard time hiding his emotions. It’s apparent. Often.

Job or part time job and description: N/A at this time, ideal for a trainer, or bodyguard.
Fears/ phobias/ concerns: Fear? Ha! Hera is long gone! But snakes.... I don’t trust them.
Special talents: Has been trained for the ancient Greek games. Is a pro at wrestling. Go ahead! Challenge him!
Morality
Good/ bad/ neutral/ other:
“YES!”
Always willing to encourage and help those who need it.
Short tempered and stubborn Hercules always fought against what he thought was wrong. If something gets smashed in the process so be it. Justice is being done! His word is his bond those who break it aren’t worth his time. That being said if a ‘Master’ is evil his actions will be geared more to ‘evil’ purposes. As a summon he is bound to his pact.
If someone hurts someone he cares about. Revenge will be brutal no matter the cost.
Feelings toward Mutants: Mutant’s make interesting allies. Though they are hard to come by and have odd abilities. They require encouragement to be their best.
Feelings toward Humans: I’ve fought for them and by their sides many times in my life. The tenacity they possess... they continue to surprise me. Human’s make great allies!
Feelings toward Adapted: …....Adapting is good for situations....
Feelings toward Everyone: “Come let us give it our all and test our strength! This is why I’m blessed with Immortality!”[/color]
Magic
Arcana Praeditus: Somation
Arcana Initium: Invocation
Preferred Foci:
Hercules’s body is with riddled tattoos, ancient spells and glyphs most of them to link his abilities and keep him tethered to a mystic ‘master’ wearing/holding one of his tethered items, ‘totems.’ Said items can only be given willingly after a pact is made. Hercules has never discovered a limit to the ‘totems’ he can create but never had an interest in discovering it. Too many masters is a headache.
Each item saps energy, be it magic or life force the items don’t discriminate. The items transfer power to Hercules, increasing his regeneration ability, durability and/or strength. The stronger he makes himself the weaker the caster becomes (Abilities knocked down a tier). The further the mystic’s are the more power it draws. Which is why it is beneficial to have more than one master or have him closer to a master.
Magic caster’s holding the ‘totem’ may deliver orders or communicate with him telepathically and can summon Hercules. Summoning is a one-way street if a master calls, Hercules appears no matter what he was doing at the time of summons.
To cast himself Hercules has to create a circle with his hands. He does this by clapping his hands together or by punching his fist in his hand to connect the needed ‘Glyphs’ on his body. This helps channel power from his ‘masters’. This activates his durability
Without a mystic channeling energy into a ‘totem’ Hercules ceases to exist and goes back to the ethereal plane where he waits for the next ‘master’.
Weapon of choice: “My club” Hercules has always been known for his brute strength and his ability to rise to any challenge. What kind of Brute would he be without it? The club can be summoned to him. Has similar abilities to Hercules but weaker. Will break over time.
Magical Theme: Brawling Magic!
Snap Spell:
Bringing the Thunder!
Channels energy to alter physical body. Giving him ‘super durability’ diamond hardness skin. While it is just skin with increased durability it gains a ‘oiled’ look. With this he is super hard to injure. He can increase his strength by drawing more power either more from a single master or less from multiple.
Physical Abilities
General Physical Capabilities: He practices in you are what you eat and is a firm believer in training to strengthen the mind and the body. He constantly works to better his body. He is average across the board unless activating his powers. “My word is my strength!”
Fighting Style: Hit it! If that doesn’t work! Hit! It! Harder!
Fighting Style Pros/Cons: It could hit back! I missed! Cheap cardboard high-rises! Let’s go again!
History Of Your Character:
The story goes from what he was told, he was found and raised by humans after his mother’s passing. She died in childbirth and he never met her. Hercules didn’t know why his father didn’t raise him on Olympus but figured it had something to do with... her.
After trying to fit in for several years as a plain old human he took a job in one of the major cities to help with a giant man eating horse outbreak. Hercules always knowing who he was (son of Zeus) knew he was meant for greater things so given the chance he used his abilities to channel powers.
‘Raw power’ was a phrase that got used a lot but mostly what he did when he first discovered his abilities was take hits and boy, did he take him. Some say he was blessed from a Lion’s skin. Others say it was from the many blessing of gods and goddess. ‘Raw power’. He called it will power. He was good at getting hit and getting back up. That was it. Over the years he took hits for friends and allies until eventually he found himself back in his father’s good graces after many, exaggerated trials for an evil stepmother.
For a time he acted as a ‘sweeper’ of sorts for his family. If there was a monster that the gods wanted gone, he was the heavy lifter. No challenge was too small because the thing he sought after for so long, his father’s approval and immortality.
Well, Hercules found them just plain boring and eventually that made him question why he was doing what he was doing.

Sample RP:
The sky roared above him illuminating the streaming of tears down his cheeks. He never felt like this before... unsure. Usually in his life he had a path, to make it here. The halls of Mount Olympus now that he was here. His stomach churned. If he had eaten before walking these sacred grounds he would have spewed boar and wine all over it. Instead he just tasted wine and choked it back down.
“Father... if I may...” Lighting crashed overhead, a bolt lighting up the ground next to him turning it into a bright molten red, the hero didn’t move. He stood tall, he was powerful. He could kill one or two of them. His ‘jury’ most of them were exaggerations, hardly as powerful as him or his father. Both of them knew it which was why his father had ‘her’ deal with him.
“You may not.” another lightning bolt flashed this time sprinkling the molten dirt on his feet. Open toed shoes were never good in front of his father. ‘She’ only made it worse. “You were told to destroy the village of those.... things. I believe I was quite clear.” she toyed with her nails. Something interesting must have been on them. Blood of a child maybe? Hercules frowned at the thought and cleared his throat, “Fine. I’ll speak my mind.” another bolt flashed this time hitting him.
Blue coated his body the smell of burnt hair was all he could smell however he didn’t cower. In fact, he folded his arms in defiance, he could take a few more hits. It was his gift after all. “I didn’t dispose of the village because I solved the issue. It wasn’t a plague that affected them.” Another lightning bolt hit him this time he knew it was from his father.
“Enough!” the thunder seemed to carry his voice miles around him. The bronzed champion frowned more in defiance. “I will not kill the innocent! I spent my life getting here! That is not who we are! We are supposed to protect and guide them! All of them!” more tears streaked down his face. His fists shook under his arms. “I said enough!” it was raining now wiping the tears from his face. He knew what it meant, ‘stop showing compassion.’ Hercules however didn’t reach up for his eyes to hide the tears, he did enough already. Why did he have to keep proving himself. Everything he was taught... went against those orders. There were no fighters among them. Just scholars and mutants.
‘She’ touched his shoulder and whispered something. Hercules had nothing now, his wife and child. His friends, allies. Gone. All he had was his father and the other gods. The sky grew darker and the Prince of Power looked up to match his father’s gaze. They both knew what was going to happen. One just had no idea the depravities of ‘her’. ”For your blatant disregards for ‘our’ orders we banish you. Hecate has seen the village go on to expand to a city, one that could rival our power one day. Thankfully we have more reliable servants.” she smiled at the word. He was ‘their’ child no longer.
‘She’ snapped her fingers and chains appeared around his wrists and ankles. One appeared around his neck. ‘She’ waved her hands and he fought against them but eventually fell to his knees. More tears, streaked down his face as he looked up to his father one last time. Trying to plea. Then to the others that stood over and judged him. He couldn’t speak. His voice gone but he roared, yelled, and cursed all in attendance. He fought so hard to be there. Sacrificed so much. His wife. His son. His life.
The air grew dark and quite he could no longer see the sky. The flashes of lighting or the rumble of thunder. He was alone now, frozen in place. Hercules yelled his frustration in silence fighting against the glowing manacles. They grew tighter and heavier but he was stronger. He could break free. He would break free! A foot rose and the ground cratered under it he struggled no longer feeling the rain. He knew what was coming. If the one who brought the darkness was to deliver the banishment he knew how this would end.
“Some wounds.... even time won’t heal....” her voice rang out through the darkness and surrounded him. The glowing of the manacles imprisoning him dimmed as her lantern appeared. Hecate. Hercules struggled as a sharp pain littered his body runes and curses stretched everywhere illuminated by her lantern. Some of the curses he understood some he... forgot? “You will never stand among the gods again.” she chided almost seeming to enjoy this, “You will be reminded of your failures constantly, you will never grow old, never sire more sons, you will be stripped of your power and be forced to serve those you would betray us for.” the runes seemed to light up under the manacles. Everything felt heavy.
For the first time he was terrified of what was to happen. He had no path to guide him, no goals. Hecate’s obscured face leaned forward next to him almost looking sad. He could almost feel her breath on his ear. The last thing he heard her say, “I’m sorry.” then she snapped her fingers.
Hercules awoke with a start his heart racing. Pompeii was in flames.
