"From past experiences, I can say that it hasn't run off anywhere. Even normal Moose are harder to scare than any other herbivore in the area. Being big and being aggressive makes them more or less the Alpha of the area around here.... and that especially counts for these ones. From what I've learned they tend to treat humans like we're annoying rats in the pantry."
She let the idea of him acting as bait simmer while she ate her food quetly. It was feasable with the power he had. She was going to have to climb up and find station in a tree so that she had the highground, and also hope that she was out of range for the brunt of the beasts attack.
"Alright. I think that could work." The Native wasn't the type to question whether it was a great idea or not, unless the person offering was very oviously someone who couldn't handle the expected danger. Xavier had proven himself capable and he was able to make his own, possibly dumb, decisions without her questioning him.
"I will absolutely never let you live if down if you blow up all your clothes while fighting a moose, though. Fair warnng." She smirked mischivoiusly at him for a moment and then moved herself along back to the hunt.
"I'll need to be within range to get a kill shot on it. You'll have to come at it from a speficing direction in relation to me, too, or I might not get a good shot at its vitals. Moose are bug and muscle heavy... an arrow from head on or directly behid might not be enough to get through to an artery."
The side was her best bet. From a position above she'd have to aim for where the ribs met the front legs and hope she was able to get her broadhead through to the lungs/heart area, or else they'd have a very angry moose in their hands, or a long boring trek through the woods looking for a wounded animal on the run.
