Well I wont say that I'm taking the blood to use your power, I'll say that it's for routine tests. If you still are squeemish then I might use my mesmering eyes to distract you while Dr Ingram takes a sample. Only Dr Ingram knows my blood absorbtion power, I'd just tell you that one of my powers is the ability to mimik other mutants. Then we can have a good fun training session blowing stuff up.
Strangely enough I plan for the blowing stuff up sessions to be outside, just incase you go a little overboard and start blowing up stuff at random. A lot of the stuff in the lab is very valuable, and I'd like it intact if you dont mind.

No, you said taking blood's a no no, I say it's essential for me to live and helpful in teaching Tris to control her powers if I have the same powers, all be it a weaker version. The best teacher of how to use mutant powers is someone with the same powers, and Hunter would have the same if he has a sample of Tris' blood. I'll use my iron will to work out all the mental triggers, then tell Tris what they are and help her get used to them. Once she's learnt to control it we can work on blowing up really big things and immobilising fast moving things. Lets see how well you shoot acid at me if I immobilise it in mid air.
Well technically since you'll just have a weaker version of her power, you won't be able to immobilize it, you'll just slow it down for a certain amount of time, but it will never go into somewhat of a state of suspended animation.
I know, I'm just clarifying things since you were talking about freezing things, but since you won't have the full strength of her abilities, you'll only be able to slow them down. ><;;
