Personality:Shy, yet talkative when around people he knows; can take charge if neccessary. A reason for his shyness can be explained by his utter lack of self-esteem. He grew up being called ugly, mostly by girls, a reason why he tries to avoid them and not talk to them. That scar on his eye has worsened what was left of it and made him more of a loner than ever. He is not quite a anti-social person, yet is obviously not flamboyant either. (Updated 4-27)

Description of ability(ies):Minor Matter alteration/"Alchemy"; he is able to change air atomss and molucules into other types of atoms. Right now he is able make wooden things, like staffs, etc. He is also able to make metallic items to a certain degree.
Cons (weaknesses) of ability(ies):He can't make absolutly anything... mostly just wood and metallic things. He also does not know how to dispose of matter, so he must use all the matter while creating the new product. Example:He can't take a bed a shorten it to a regular cookie. The cookie must be the size of the bed, making it a very large cookie.
Fighting style (if any):Improv martial arts, favorably uses a wooden staff, and usually creates one with the air molucules around him

History of your character:At age 8, Mark found out about his powers. He was sitting in his room writing, when he started thinking about knives. Suddenly, the pencil in his hand started to become metalic and sharp. Before he knew it, it became a knife. His parents eventually found out as well. Yet, while his mother was ok with his powers, his father became disguisted and afraid. He tried to scare Mark out of useing his powers by yelling at him and on occasions hitting him whenever he thought Mark was using them. Mark ignored his father and continued to use them, making his father more angry. One night, his father planned to kill him. He got knife out and attacked Mark. As the struggle ensued, his father slashed at his face and cut a gash around his right eye. Mark was able to knee his father in the stomach and collect somethings and run. He was able to get gauze and medical tape to try to heal his wound. He ran and hid away in New York. He found a nice cheap hotel to live in and was able to find work at a local fast food place. He grew out his hair and tried to cover the scare that was left from that night. Recently he's heard about a school for kids like him. He hopes that he can go there so he can continue his studies around people who won't be afraid of him.
