The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

It was time to go. As soon as the fire started to spread, she was eager to get out of there. The last thing she needed, on top of her already broken limbs was to get singed. Still, she was proud of the work that she did today. Drawn out of a pure bruised ego, but it was still important work nonetheless. She managed to take an extremely dangerous man off the streets, stopped him from hurting anymore innocent mutants. Best of all, she got to meet one of her favorite heroes. She didn’t have the time to fawn over Isabel, they needed to make tracks before they were both lost to the flames.
With a quick announcement she made for the only other door. The big boss would die here, eaten alive by fire as it crept further and further into the room. It would have been nice to watch him roast as the fire crept in closure, his fat sizzling under his skin and essentially turning him into the perfect pork roast. But as fun as it sounded, Agnes instead threw her full weight against the door burst out into the night air. It was a wonderful feeling.
>>"I guess you're right. Not worth getting singed just to play with the vermin,"
She grinned at murderess’ words as she stepped out into the cool air. Already she could feel the heat from cheeks dying away. Turning to greet her new friend, she smiled mischievously at her. Oh the buxom brunette certainly was a treat for the eyes, but Agnes knew well enough to not get too friendly too quick. Besides, this seemed more like business than pleasure for her. Then again, it wouldn’t really keep the insect queen from a few choice, teasing words.
With a wicked glint she purred at criminal. ”Oooo...thank you so much for the assist, sweetness.” She paced around the other. ”There any way I can repay you?”
The air outside the smoking building felt almost icy as she stepped through the exit and a breeze hit her skin. with a sigh Isabel brushed her hands across her hot cheeks as if it would rid her of the lingering heat and the overpowering smell of smoke that had no doubt seeped into the fabric of her clothing. It was refreshing, but it also brought with it the reminder of the rest f the world outside of the progressing wreckage. The blaze would be attracting sirens soon and she needed to be gone before they arrived.
Gathering her long hair over one shoulder to try and cool her neck, she turned to face the other woman when addressed, regarding her curiously. Having an individual like that in her pocket on an owe-you-one basis could be useful, but she imagined the repaid favor would probably wind up being another murder spree kind of situation, which could get her in some trouble if not done right. But tempting. Very tempting.
"Nothing comes to mind right now," she replied with a sigh, sweeping her hair back behind her and turning her attention toward the street, listening for incoming problems.[/color "But," she continues, glancing back at the other woman, "If you hear of any more setups like this, I'm sure you can find me. Haven't had arson officially listed on my criminal record yet. Could be a fun change of pace.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
Agnes was intrigued by the buxom beauty. Even though she had just been through a literal hell, flames and torture, she still found herself eyeing the brunette with a lecherous smile. She would have never been this forward in the past, especially to someone as malicious as Isabel was reputed to be, but something about her new body, her new personality, it made it easier for her to be bold. As she circled, she coyly inquired if she could do anything for the other in thanks.
Sadly, for as much fun as a romp seemed it would be, Agnes could see the disinterest in Isabel’s eyes.
>>"Nothing comes to mind right now,"
Agnes pouted cutely. Ah well, she wouldn’t take that to heart too much. She would just have to settle for remembering seeing the murderous brunette in action; for the time being. With a sigh she stepped away, a sway in her hips as she moved to alley. She was missing a couple of her extra spines, but the remaining were strong enough to carry her up and away. But before she could offer her goodbyes, she stopped when Isabel grumbled out another comment.
>>"But...If you hear of any more setups like this, I'm sure you can find me. Haven't had arson officially listed on my criminal record yet. Could be a fun change of pace.
A sadistic and twisted grin pulled across her face plates. Rows of razor sharp fangs added to her malicious, demonic smile. Elegantly she dipped her head towards Isabel, a hand resting upon her hip as she replied. ”I’ll certainly find you. When I do...make sure you’re decent…” A wicked glint in her eye. ”Or don’t.”
With that she blew a kiss at Isabel before she then turned and began to scale the nearest wall. She needed to get to a safe place to lay low until the heat (heh) passed. Oh but she would carry the events of this night with her for a very, very long time.
