Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

The idea of showing off in a bikini or Maya had plenty of appeal. She loved the way Maya looked at her and bikinis were notoriously easy to take off. It did make Becca wonder though: when the weather turned warm, would they still be doing what they were doing? How long did most people engage in a friends with benefits situation? Becca might have pieced together a makeshift “rule list,” but she had no clue if societal norms suggested some kind of f*** buddy expiration date.

Maya’s body leaned toward Becca, her back pressing against the redhead’s stomach. Her body was warm. Becca hoped there was no hypothetical expiration date. Whatever they had going was nice.

Breathing a content sigh, Becca looped her arms around Maya’s waist and rested her hands on Maya’s lap as the gendershifted explained the reason for her tattoo. There was a possibility that Jesse would not be the last Mirror doppelganger, and so far, they were two-for-two when it came to attractiveness, (even if Jesse totally cheated.) Becca left a (relatively) innocent kiss on the side of Maya’s neck. ”Guid. Ah awready hae a favorite. Noo if Ah’m concerned ye micht be a copy, Ah jist hae tae take yer shirt off.” She grinned. ”Soonds loch a plan Ah can gie behind.”
