The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Tulla had just finished putting in the updated health information of one of her regular patients when she glanced at her watch. It was around three in the afternoon and thankfully, her lunch break was only a couple of hours away since she came in at one. The PA did wish that she could manipulate time so that she could go ahead and go down to the hospital cafeteria. Today, they were serving vegetable stir fry.
Tulla was dressed in her usual gray scrubs with her white shoes and hair in two braids. She forgotten her earrings at her apartment, but that wasn't her main concern. The lavender-eyed mutant made her way down to the patient examination rooms to begin her rounds. Her first patient, a Mr. Kristoph Karlson. age forty born April thirteenth, nineteen seventy-seven. Tulla nodded her head at the general information including the room number before putting on a pair of clean stethoscopes and knocking on the door to give him a head's up that she was about to enter the room.
"Good afternoon, Mr. Karlson," she gave the man a smile. He was one of the newer patients that she hadn't gotten the chance to meet until today, "I will be your physician's assistant for today," she started her usual disclaimer as she headed to the sink to wash her hands, "if you are uncomfortable about having a mutant as a PA, please do not hesitate to ask I will happily refer you to someone else." Tulla turned around to look straight on at the man. He was dressed simply with jeans and hoodie with a t-shirt underneath it. His physical features -- wait, was he a ginger? Huh, she'd never met a ginger before. Anyways, back to work. Tulla focused back on Mr. Karlson and offered him her hand. "If you're comfortable, then great. Tulla."
Physicals. Bleh. They weren't Kristoph’s favorite thing in the world. But not because he was afraid of bad news. No, Kristoph actually took care of himself, he had to with his job. The ginger dedicated himself to keeping his body strong and will maintained, which was why, even at forty, the man was built like a brick house. Large, solid, immovable lest he wanted it, he was ideal for SUPER as he was both loyal to the cause and made sure he was in the game for as long as possible.
Of course that meant he needed check ups. Reviewers in the organization required agents to get regularly check ups and forward results to HQ. SUPER had its own doctors but it would be too convenient, wouldn't it? Aw well, there were worst ways to spend a day off.
Today Kristoph found himself sitting in an examination room, dressed in jeans, a plain black t- shirt, and a gray hoodie zipped up. Quietly the bearded man looked down at his phone, playing frustrating level of Foul Mooded Fowls, and waiting for the nurse or the doctor to enter. There were signs everywhere that told him cell devices should be turned off to not interfere with equipment, but his phone was safely on airplane mode so it should suffice.
Hearing a knock on the door, Kristoph looked up briefly before replying in a deep baritone, ”Come in.”
>> "Good afternoon, Mr. Karlson...I will be your physician's assistant for today..if you are uncomfortable about having a mutant as a PA, please do not hesitate to ask I will happily refer you to someone else…If you're comfortable, then great. Tulla."
The nurse wed not someone he had expected. Dispute the fact that she was beautiful (he took a second to appreciate that) what didn't escape him were her eyes. At a glance, the thought that they were just fancy contacts filled his mind, but that would quickly prove to be false. Without pause, the woman admitted she was a mutant, even tried to take his preference into mind if he didn't want to be treated by one of her kind.
How candid.
When she turned to face him, Kristoph gave her a sweet smile. He would have to turn her identity in to SUPER later, but there was no need to go all secret government agent harsh on her. The man was civil, after all, and he wasn’t a bigot against mutants. After all, they were just people that needed some… guidance.
He dipped his head to her respectfully. ”No problem at all. But thank you for asking, Gorgeous. ” He grinned. Standing from the table, Kristoph unzipped and removed his hoodie, his physique an obvious skiing of his good health. He responded to her greeting. ”Kristoph. Of course, you already know that.”
>> ”No problem at all. But thank you for asking, Gorgeous. ”
That was unexpected. She was so caught off guard that she needed up snorting like a pig. Tulla's face became even more red, but tried his hardest to cover it up. "That's a new one. I haven't been called 'gorgeous' by one of my patients for a few months ago." It was nice to say the least, though completely unprofessional.
>> ”Kristoph. Of course, you already know that.”
"Of course," she repeated with a small smile on his face. Tulla gave the man a once over before turning back to look at the file she had in her hand. She placed it down beside Kristoph and decided to go ahead and check his vital signs starting with his temperature, "so, you're file says that you're European? Where from?" She asked as she grabbed the thermometer. Tulla clicked the plastic tube onto the stick, "after you answer, say 'ahhhh'."
Kristoph only grinned wider when the mutant snorted at his comment and appeared red-faced. It was adorable, and a sign that said comments were not offered to her often. She may be a mutant but she was so beautiful. Again, the agent wasn’t biased, if anything he was willing to embrace women of all backgrounds, even those that could pose a threat to the innocent. But who knows, maybe Tulla here wasn’t that powerful. She could be no more powerful than a nightlight.
When she finally composed herself, Kristoph was still genuinely smiling at her. He waited for her to approach before removing his hoodie so she could get ready access to take his blood pressure.
>> "That's a new one. I haven't been called 'gorgeous' by one of my patients for a few months ago."
He pouted slightly. ”Aw that's a shame to hear. Do you work exclusively with the blind?” he asked, before his lips turned into a sly smile. ”Because that's really the only reason I can attribute as to why you don’t hear it everyday.”
Kristoph knew how to work his game. There were those, like his partner Sabine, who would disagree with him, but that never deterred the man. It was just a natural part of his charm, of who he was. May as well ask a fish to not swim.
As she came closer, Kristoph reclaimed his seat on the table, but even with his great height he still met the woman at eye level. He continued to smirk as she drew closer, setting down her file and getting ready to begin the exam. He greeted her with his own name, fair since he now had hers.
>>"Of course...so, you're file says that you're European? Where from? After you answer, say 'ahhhh'."
He chuckled. ”I was born and raised here,” he explained. ”But I’m French-Norwegian.” he tilted his head, smiling slyly. ”You? If you don't mind my saying, there’s something about you, besides the mutation, that's quite eye catching.”
>> ”Aw that's a shame to hear. Do you work exclusively with the blind?...Because that's really the only reason I can attribute as to why you don’t hear it everyday.”
Yep, this man was a pro filter. Although his smile looked sincere, she knew better than to trust someone's sultry words. "You should become a waiter. You'd get a lot of tips," Tulla flipped one of her braids over her shoulder and tried not to seem too amused by Mr. Karlson. "And I only have one blind patient that I see regularly for your information, Mr. Karlson." She pointed out. Tulla had to remind herself to keep this interaction as professional as possible. Though, she had to admit that she preferred this rather to the hostility she rarely got by humans.
>> ”I was born and raised here...But I’m French-Norwegian...You? If you don't mind my saying, there’s something about you, besides the mutation, that's quite eye catching.”
"French-Norwegian? Huh," Tulla found that interesting. When it came to the other part, Tulla didn't address right away. Instead, she put the stick of the thermometer into his mouth, "close," she looked at Kristoph head on before smirking, shaking her head, "maybe it's my natural Iroquois beauty or my intelligence." She shrugged her shoulders while waiting for the beep to sound. Tulla pulled it out and looked at the temperature. "99.7"
The nurses usually did the vital signs, but Tulla liked doing them; it was easy and she knew that the numbers were correct. It wasn't like she didn't trust the nurses, it was simply the fun of it.
God, she needed to get out more.
After she jott that down, Tulla took care of his blood pressure and pulse.
>> . "You should become a waiter. You'd get a lot of tips…And I only have one blind patient that I see regularly for your information, Mr. Karlson."
Kristoph just chuckled as he nodded his head in understanding. The woman was adorable in her shyness but she was regaining her footing. The sass she shot back at him only resulted in a wider smile from the agent. However he didn't pursue the topic too much further, instead he pressed on, inquiring about the woman's ethnicity when she asked about his own. Again, it was only fair.
Opening his mouth at her request, he wrapped his lips around the thermometer and smirked as he kept his lips closed. He took the quiet moment to just observe the woman as she fisted preppjng. Kristoph was fine with the silence, taking the moment to observe Tulla, rather enjoying the view but not in an overly creepy way. He was just a man who knew how to appreciate beauty.
When she came back, she continued the conversation…
>>"French-Norwegian? Huh,"
He nodded his head when she stopped to give him an appraising look. Admittedly that wasn't the first conclusion that people drew about his lineage, but it was one of those that people would go “Oooooh” when they heard it; it just made sense.
>>"maybe it's my natural Iroquois beauty…99.7"
The thermometer removed, Kristoph smirked again when she read the temperature. ”Oooh…hot.” The question was whether or not he was referring to her or the temperature. His innocent smile made that fact hard to decipher. Rather he pushed on, just sitting back as she moved onto his blood pressure. He raised his muscular arm, rolling up the sleeve so she could wrap the cuff around his arm. ”So, have you been at this hospital long? I've been here a couple times. Surely in would have remembered a pretty face like yours. “

Tulla shook her head slowly at Kristoph's advances. She was glad that he was in a good mood, though -- at least she didn't have to worry about him reporting her to her superiors for something (its happened before).
>> ”Oooh…hot.”
"Oh, God," Tulla rolled her eyes playfully, "I see that I'm going to have to keep my eyes on you, Mr. Karlson." The twenty-six-year-old mutant's smile didn't fall from her lips. "You must be on of those player types, huh? And don't worry, I'm not a telepath. Your mind is," he poked his forehead for emphasis, "safe from me."
Tulla was grateful that Mr. Karlson was helping her out by being proactive, rolling up his sleeve. Her lavender eyes trailed down to his muscular arm and grinned a little more. At least the man was in good shape with an attractive face. The PA attached the cuff to his triceps and pressed the start button the the device. As it started to work, Tulla grabbed a clicker-like object and placed it on the tip of his index finger. Killing two birds with one stone.
>> ”So, have you been at this hospital long? I've been here a couple times. Surely in would have remembered a pretty face like yours. “
"Three years," Tulla sighed and studied the man's face, "first I was a nurse, then became a PA." She added with a shrug. Once the blood pressure was finished, she wrote down the numbers down and did the same with his heart beats and respiration.
"Everything looks good. You must be pretty active with the heartbeat per minute reading," Tulla complimented as she took the stethoscope from around her neck. She put the earbuds in and placed the smooth part of the medical instrument to his chest. "Deep breath in."
>>"Oh, God...I see that I'm going to have to keep my eyes on you, Mr. Karlson. You must be on of those player types, huh? And don't worry, I'm not a telepath. Your mind is...safe from me."
Okay so maybe he was laying it on a little thick, but Kristoph couldn’t help himself. The woman wasn’t exactly shooting down his compliments and cheeseball lines so that was a direct sign that he could continue. Whenever the man had a captive audience, he had to pursue it just to see where it would go. She may be a mutant, thank goodness she wasn’t a telepath, but that didn’t mean the man couldn’t pursue a beautiful woman when he saw one.
Still, that begged the question, exactly what could she do? Was it just the eyes? Or was there something more in-depth that she had yet to reveal? He would have to subtly prod to find out.
After some continued fun, of course...
”That’s a relief to hear,” Kristoph said with a chuckle. ”I should keep some things a surprise.” He smirked, adding a small waggle of his eyebrows. Really, Kristoph was a man not easily deterred.
He rolled up his sleeve to allow the young woman access to his tricep. The blood pressure cuff needed to go around his skin to be most effective; he knew the drill by now. As he did, he couldn’t help but notice the small, lingering look that the young woman gave his arm. He grinned a bit at that, but didn’t say anything as he didn’t want to scare her off. Instead he merely gave a slightly extra flex that was totally not intentional as he wrapped the cuff.
>>"Three years...first I was a nurse, then became a PA."
”Three years, huh?” He nodded his head in an impressed manner. ”A shame I’m only meeting you now. But you know what they say, good things come to those who wait.” Another cheeky smile before he moved on. ”Seriously, good for you. We need more competent medical types in the world. So few around, it seems.”
Kristoph went quiet as he allowed the woman to do her job. Inflating the cuff, Kristoph merely sighed, keeping his heart rate at a good beat as he just sat up straight in an utterly relaxed position. Again, the man was used to this, especially with his line of work, it took a lot to actually rattle him. He had seen mutants who could lift cars, shift into monsters, even challenge the idea of physics -- a lavender-eyed beauty wouldn’t shake his nerves.
>>"Everything looks good. You must be pretty active with the heartbeat per minute reading...Deep breath in."
A deep breath in...then out. He beamed proudly. ”I do what I can. My line of work can keep me active, so beneficial to stay in shape.” His file should have listed him as a government employee, but with few more details beyond that.

>> ”That’s a relief to hear...I should keep some things a surprise.”
At the waggling eyebrows, Tulla simply chuckled and shook her head. "Mr. Karlson, you are something else." Speaking about his mind, though, she noticed that the lavender glow that was around the man's head. It was a little brighter than usual which meant he had a pretty strong brain. It would take her at least two psi-blasts before she could try and stun him. That was good to know.
>> ”Three years, huh?...A shame I’m only meeting you now. But you know what they say, good things come to those who wait...Seriously, good for you. We need more competent medical types in the world. So few around, it seems.”
Tulla smiled, "thank you for the compliment. I try my hardest to make sure my patients are well taken care of." And that was the gospel truth. "...Mr. Karlson, are you always like this when it comes to the opposite sex? You clearly have no qualms about hitting on me. If I didn't know any better, I would think that you just wanted a blowpop after your check up." She teased with a smirk across her face.
>>"I do what I can. My line of work can keep me active, so beneficial to stay in shape.”
"Hm," Tulla wondered what type of work Mr. Karlson got himself involved in. Was he a bouncer of some kind? Maybe a police officer of FDA agent? She didn't quite know, but she was sure it was something involving the government. She placed the flat part of the sethoscope against his back behind his lungs to make sure there wasn't any crinkling sound before going back to the front, "I want you to breathe in and out quickly."
After that was taken care of, Tulla wrapped the stethoscope around her neck as it was before and sat down on the stool in front of him. "How's your diet? You obviously get a lot of excierse which is good, but your diet is as well," she cleared her throat and moved the rolling stool to get the instrument to test his reflexes. Tulla came back and waited for an answer, "also, what are some diseases that run in your family?"
>>"Thank you for the compliment. I try my hardest to make sure my patients are well taken care of."
Kristoph was all smiles as he looked over the woman again, giving her an appraising look. She indeed was a pretty one. The only distraction that would keep him from fully pursuing her was the fact that she was a mutant. The only fly in the ointment, unfortunately. Normally Kristoph was all charms and attention with the younger ladies, but he didn’t always expect there to be any kind of actual response. Of course the first time he comes across a gorgeous woman who seems even somewhat susceptible to his charms, and she is a mutant.
Oh the call of work was unfortunately a harsh one to ignore. But there would be time enough for that later. Right now he just wanted to focus on the loving woman and that brilliant smile he was able to bring to her lips. All beautiful women should smile like that.
>>"...Mr. Karlson, are you always like this when it comes to the opposite sex? You clearly have no qualms about hitting on me. If I didn't know any better, I would think that you just wanted a blowpop after your check up."
He gave her a wide grin. Honestly there were so many crude ways that that could have gone but he wasn’t going to press his luck. Instead he just dipped his head respectfully before turning his eyes back up to her. ”If it makes you uncomfortable, I shall gladly stop,” he offered. ”But unfortunately it’s just hard wired in me to pay compliments to a lovely woman, especially those as beautiful as you.” An earnest grin. ”And I wouldn’t turn down a blow pop. Though, admittedly, the pleasure of your company is sweet enough.”
The woman was sweet indeed but Kristoph knew when to not cross a line. When she stepped closer, a stethoscope in her ears, the larger man winced only slightly when he felt the cool metal of the device against his back.
>>"Hm,...I want you to breathe in and out quickly."
A few deep breathes, he followed her orders as she listened to his lungs. Thankfully, as of late, he had only received a few minor injuries, nothing that would down and out cause him extra harm. It just comes with the territory.
>> "How's your diet? You obviously get a lot of excierse which is good, but your diet is as well...also, what are some diseases that run in your family?"
He shrugged innocently. ”Pretty simple. I’m a meat and potatoes kind of guy.” He watched her. ”I add in a vegetable or two where I can, but hard to remember when facing down a medium-rare steak or well-grilled trout.” He gave her a playful pout. ”Does that mean I won’t get my candy?”[/font][/i]

>> ”If it makes you uncomfortable, I shall gladly stop...But unfortunately it’s just hard wired in me to pay compliments to a lovely woman, especially those as beautiful as you...And I wouldn’t turn down a blow pop. Though, admittedly, the pleasure of your company is sweet enough.”
Tulla placed a hand on her hip and shook her head again, "no, no. Don't stop. At least you know your boundaries, Mr. Karlson." He slid her hand down from her hip to just allow it to hang there. She glanced down at her watch and grinned a bit. Almost stir fry time. "...Also, sorry if it's cold. I know you're man enough to handle it."
>> ”Pretty simple. I’m a meat and potatoes kind of guy...I add in a vegetable or two where I can, but hard to remember when facing down a medium-rare steak or well-grilled trout.” He gave her a playful pout. ”Does that mean I won’t get my candy?”
"Nope, especially after you just told me what your diet's like. Cut back on the meat if you can and eat more fruits and vegetables, okay? We don't want your arteries to get hard," she paused, "don't say it." She grinned and took her instrument and tapped his knee. Good reflexes. She did the same to the other before putting the instrument.
She was about to say something until she heard shouting outside. Tulla immediately shot up from her seat, her eyes glowing with psionic power. "...Stay in here. Don't move." Tulla took off her sethoscope and opened the door. A man was standing in the middle of the sitting area, looking down at his hands and screaming.
Tulla walked out completely and the man immediately looked up at her. His eyes were filled with fear and anger. Tulla knew that look, but before she could say anything, the man stretched his hand out to her, sending vibrations toward her. Tulla rolled out of the way and glared up from the ground. A pair of psi-wings appeared on her face as a bolt of psi energy soared from her frontal lobe and over his head. Shit!
"Sir, we need you to calm down!" Tulla quickly stood up and readied herself for anything.
Tulla really was a lot of fun to flirt with. Each comment made her smile wider and it was a good look on her. Most would have found the luminescent eyes to be a bit unnerving but Kristoph had seen worse. There was that one cat-lady that he had managed to flirt into bed; those claws raking down his back had certainly been the roughest he’d experienced up until that point. At least with this nurse, if the stars would align for him again, the most he would have to contend with is pair of creepy glowing eyes in the night. If creepy, observant women were ever a problem for him, then he certainly wouldn’t have had Sabine as hs partner for as long as he had.
He rattled off his usual meal, trying to play up the veggies and fruit aspect of his diet a bit higher than it actually was. Of course he teased the nurse further, pouting at the candy that was at risk due to his poor habits. Honestly, it wasn’t the worse. When he was a cop, he had seen the crap that some of his fellow officers put into their bodies. At least the worst Kristoph had was a little bit of extra red meat flowing through his system.
>>"Nope, especially after you just told me what your diet's like. Cut back on the meat if you can and eat more fruits and vegetables, okay? We don't want your arteries to get hard...don't say it."
His eyebrows raised at the ‘get hard’ comment as a grin stretched over his lips. Sadly the woman immediately managed to catch herself quickly shut down any commentary. Another cute pout that made his beard stand out a bit, the agent just shrugged his shoulders, nodding his head. Doctor’s always told him this kind of thing and, to be honest, it was probably good advice. But he knew himself, he would right for a few days, maybe toss and extra piece of carrot onto his plate, but it wouldn’t be long before he fell back into his old habits.
Ah well. At least he got to flirt with a cute medical assistant for a bi--
The scream that flew out from the hall immediately drew his attention. Senses to alert, the man stretched up and turned his head to gaze towards the door. All sorts of emergencies happened in these places but they rarely resulted in screams like that. Kristoph was already beginning to remove himself from the table when the nurse seemed to take charge.
>>"...Stay in here. Don't move."
Eyebrow arched. That was interesting. He watched as the woman ran out of the room, closing the door behind her. Of course he didn’t let that stop him in the least. He was immediately off the bed and maneuvering towards the door when he heard the most ungodly of sounds. The screech that flew through the air made the walls and floor vibrate. Kristoph winced, placing his hands over his ears, and leaning against the door. Dammit that hurt.
Pulling the door open, Kristoph stepped outside to see a younger man, eyes filled with rage and panic. Sexy nurse was crouched down, ethereal wings of energy glowing around her eyes. It was a beautiful, to say the least, but he couldn’t allow himself to get distracted. Great, unregistered mutant was going haywire in a hospital, of all the times to forget his goddamn gun.
>>"Sir, we need you to calm down!"
Kristoph turned back to Tulla. She was trying to gain control of the situation but the mutant was clearly having none of it. He raised his hands and the agent could practically see the vibrations underneath his skin. He had to move. Reaching into the room, Kristoph grabbed a nearby glass container of tongue depressers and leaned out of the doorway. Without a second thought, the redheaded viking hurled the glass jar down the hall, striking the mutant in the chest, causing him to wince and alter his aim. The sound vibrations still shot outward but missed Tulla, instead striking the ceiling above her head.
Again, these were things that Kristoph was used to. The man moved fluidly, slipping across the hall, grabbing Tulla by the hand and pulled her out of the way of the debris which suddenly fell. Holding the woman into a tight hug, Kritoph kept her pinned to the wall, covering his head as more debris fell. Thankfully, by the time it reached them, it was only crumbs that fell upon his shoulders. Taking a second he leaned back and looked down at the nurse with a grin.
”I don’t think he respects your medical opinion.” Another torrent of sound pulled Kristoph’s attention back. The mutant recovered and aimed a palm at the both of them. Kristoph barely had the time to turn, still covering Tulla but taking the brunt of the sound blast to his back. He ground his teeth, holding against it, but eventually, when the sound stopped, the man groaned and dropped down to one knee. That...one hurt… He raised his gaze to Tulla, making sure she was okay before he nodded. "Run."

Tulla didn't put up a resistance when Kristoph took her hand and led her away from the falling building material. She didn't even sass her patient when he protected her and himself from both the mutant and the debris. Well, that certainly was something that she should be thankful for. When Kristoph pulled away, Tulla's lavender eyes immediately looked up into his green ones.
>> ”I don’t think he respects your medical opinion.”
"I guess not," she huffed, "also, good job aim." She patted his chest just before the same deranged mutant shot a blast of sound vibrations. Although Kristoph took the brunt of the blast, Tulla had to cover her ears. What was up with this guy?! Not only was he giving a bad name to mutants, but he was also damaging her work place! Messing with her coins! That made her made. After the blast was over, Kristoph fell to one knee and said,
>> "Run."
Tulla snorted and shook her head. "Run? I'm not running from this man. I tried to be nice," with that Tulla moved around the kneeling man and down toward the mutant. Without saying anything, Tulla stretched out her hands, sending out a psi-blast of energy at the man. The psi-wings on her face flapped dramatically as if they were the ones generating the blast.
The man cried out and immediately fell to his knees, holding his head in between his hands. Tulla didn't let up until she had to. After a couple more seconds, Tulla stopped the mental blast and without waiting five seconds, sent out one of her stun bolts from her mind. Upon impact, the man went limp and dropped to the side.
"...Would you like a prescription for that?" She sassed turning her head to look at her patient. "You alright?"
That one really hurt. Kristoph winced as he felt the pain radiating from across his back. The sound vibrations were rough to listen to, but the man had felt them vibrate the very marrow of his bones. Had it lasted any longer, he was certain that his internal organs would be in completely different places. Thankfully it stopped when it did but it was like being held up by a piece of furniture that was suddenly taken away -- he fell down to his knee.
A glance up at the glowing-eyed angel, he instructed her to run. The mutant seemed to be out of control and if she could put distance between herself and him, that would help her. But it seemed as if she were not just some damsel in distress. He leaned against the wall, watching as the woman scoffed and moved around him.
>>"Run? I'm not running from this man. I tried to be nice,"
He was curious, of course, as he watched the woman circle around him and marched directly up to the angered mutant. The flare of light from around her eyes expanded, wings of luminescence fluttering in the air. The mutant screamed, grasping his head as he stumbled back onto the ground. Kristoph smirked, grinning as the man crumbled down. There was another burst of light from the woman’s eyes and it quickly became apparent that she had mental abilities of some kind.
This wasn’t just a light show. This was a class Alpha mutant on display.
Kristoph watched the mutant go down a final time. Moving onto his feet, he growled as he rolled his shoulders, trying to shake the ache from off of his bones. He groaned as he eyed the woman, smirking as she approached him, a quip falling off of her lips at the mutant who had attacked her. He had to admit it, he was in love now.
>>" … You alright?"
