Personality: A little distant, but can very friendly once you get to know her. She is capable of being very bitter and sarcastic, but for the most part, she has a normal attitude. She is also an amazingly huge hypocrite, without being aware of it. A violent temper that she likes to pretend doesn't exist.
Notes (hobbies, phobias, worries, etc.): She enjoys gardening, playing the flute and jewelry making. She cannot swim, and has a minor fear of heights. She worries about failing her father, whom she hates without being aware of it.

Side (good, bad, or neutral): Bad

Everyday clothing: Always something with a hood on it. Always. Pants or a skirt, boots, and gloves if she's going to be going 'undercover' with the humans.
Uniform: A long green jacket with yellow piping, and a matching yellow skirt with an interior-pocketed hem within which she can hide things.
Pajamas: Respectable.

Hair color and style: The only hair on her body are her eyelashes and eyebrows, both of which are black. Her eyelashes are actually very thick and oddly long. Where the hair on her head would normally be, she has several dozen independently thinking green mamba snakes.
Eye color: Bright yellow, and silted, like one might see in a snake.

Description of ability(ies):

• Can turn living and non-living things into various types of stone by looking at them.
  
• Invulnerable to poisons
  
• Can communicate with snakes to a very, veryslight effect.
  
• Green skin, with a few armored scales that run down her sides, under her arms- unnoticeable for the most part. Sharp black nails that almost border on claws.
  

Cons (weaknesses) of ability(ies):

• If she uses her stone powers for too long, the liquid in her eyes will turn into mica for a time, dependent on how long she was using the power. This is extremely painful, and renders her blind until the condition reverses itself.
  The living things she turns into stone won't stay that way for very long- anywhere between a few hours to two weeks, depending. Non-living things become stone permanently, and can be very difficult to deal with. Like clothing, for instance!
  She has no control over what type of stone she turns something into.
  She has to have a clear visual shot in order to stone something. A clear barrier, even though she can see through it, will stop her powers.
  
• Poisons still effect her- just not in the intended way. For example, a very potent poison will act like alcohol to her, getting her quite drunk if presented in large quantities.
  
• Just because she can speak with snakes doesn't mean they'll listen to her her. It is difficult for her to be near people, due to her poisonous hair, which she has very little control over.
  
• Her appearance makes going in public next to impossible. She has to wear gloves, hoods, long clothing even in hot weather, glasses and face paint to even try to pass as normal.
  
• She is cold blooded to a small effect.

History of your character:
As far as she is aware...
Makoto is the second child of a rich, traditional Japanese family. Her parents had her to replace her older brother, whom they disowned. When she was five, her hair fell out, and her mutation began. She lived with a bag over her head for a year (after she turned her mother into a diamond for a week), learning
to control her stone abilities.
Because her family's business is a highly respected jewelers, she was not disowned, like her unspoken of brother. Her parents used her powers to obtain rare jewels. Makoto didn't mind this, and enjoyed being useful.
As she was not allowed out of the house or garden area, she became a very proficient flute player, jeweler, and even learned a little martial arts. She did not, however, learn many social graces, other than the strict rules of upper society that her parents had her learn. She was very isolated.
One day she woke to find herself in a strange place. This place was not a nice place. They wouldn't talk to her, or tell her what she was doing there. They did unspeakable things to her there, that even now she can't remember the extent of. What she does remember is that they tortured her because of her mutant status. And now, having escaped into New York City.... she will have revenge.
