The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Antonio would be making his move soon. She had overheard him at the club saying how much work he had. His initial plan was to handle his business before taking his younger date back home. However it seemed that his physical needs outweighed anything else as he had apparently decided against this plan. Tracking him back to the high end condo he owned, Agnes watched as the disgusting man practically dragged his young paramour in through the front doors and into the belly of the beast.
She didn’t know how long they had spent in there but by the time that Antonio’s date (if he could be called that) left, he was clearly a little worse for the wear. It wasn’t unknown to the community that Antonio was a rough man but the one look at the younger as he left the building in disgrace showed that he got off easy, but just barely. For whatever reason Antonio wasn’t keeping the younger man overnight, more than likely because of the business that he had to conduct. Disgusting.
It wasn’t long after his date left that Antonio, with a fresh set of clothing, stepped out of the building. Agnes perked up, watching him as he stood by the sidewalk, talking on a cellphone. She tried to read his lips from across the street but it proved to be too dark and too far for her to appropriately see. Still, whatever he was saying, she knew that it wasn’t good.
A few minutes later a towncar rolled up to the side of the street, where a sharply dressed man stepped out and immediately walked around the car to open the door for him. Antonio climbed in, followed by the driver who returned to the driver’s side. The headlights flaring brighter, the car lurched forward before moving down the street and rounding a corner.
She wasn’t going to lose them. Breaking into a run, Agnes leapt over the gap between this building and the next and continued her pursuit. As she ran she pulled up her cellphone and contacted HQ. Doc would be able to track them and give her a precise location as his buggy operatives were all over the city. Either way, Antonio was going down tonight, no matter what.

She was fast, but not fast enough to span distances that he couldn’t follow. As she vanished from his line of sight, Akshay kept a bead on her with his abilities, watching as she fled off into the distance. She moved like a bat out of hell, taking to the rooftops and moving as if she were little more than a gust of wind where nothing could stand in her way. She flipped and turned and made good time as the target she was chasing seemed to be on the move. He had to hand it to her, she certainly wasn’t someone that he would ever want to cross. The way she moved, so fluidly, it was almost poetic and terrifying to watch.
However, for as quick as she moved, she couldn’t get away from him. Keeping her within the span of his aura, there were only a few instances where her signature dipped out of his range but she was quick to pop back in again. Teleporting as close as he dared, but making sure to keep his distance, Akshay followed the mutant as she tracked her quarry. She moved with such certainty that Akshay found himself impressed with the pace she kept. Somehow she knew where she was going and where her target was headed, as if tracking him every inch of the way.
Maybe there was more to her than he initially figured.
Traveling across the city, Akshay eventually ported onto a rooftop and was immediately hit by the scent of the ocean. As he stepped onto the scene, he rolled his shoulder, catching sight of that bright, orange spot just down the way. Combatant was there, kneeling peering over the ledge and into a warehouse on the pier. Peering closely at the woman, Akshay kept his distance but ensure that she didn’t leave his sight. What was she planning to do? Take on an army of men by hers—
And she jumped off the roof. Yup. That seemed to be exactly her plan. He grumbled under his breath. ”****ing X-Men…” and then teleported after her.
Agnes was ready to break some heads. Considering how she started her night, some of the awkwardness and some of the loud music, all of it just made her quite irritated and ready to blow off steam. If she wasn’t already a woman who needed an outlet for her fists every now and again, she was certainly more so now. The disgusting look on the gunrunner’s face, his treatment of his “date” for the evening, everything just made him the perfect candidate for an asskicking – Agnes was more than ready to deliver it.
With Doc’s help, she was able to track the vehicle, moving through the city at an easy pace. After all, what did a man like Antonio have to rush for? People rushed to meet him, not the other way around, after all. It was arrogance like that that made it easy for Combatant to keep track of him, moving across the city, listening to the directions that Doc informed her of from his various roaches set throughout the city. It was a simple trek; she could have stopped off for a drink and a meal and still made it to the pier before he did.
Now, leaning over a ledge and looking down at the warehouse she had watched him pull into, Agnes narrowed her dark eyes in irritation. The arrogant swagger of the man as he stepped out of the back of his car was enough to make her want to throw a brick down into his head. However, she knew that she needed to more on him, pin him to his crimes before she did anything like that. Instead she waited, her eyes watching his every move. As soon as he stepped into one of the warehouses, Agnes turned her eyes onto the duo of bodyguards that were waiting near the vehicle.
It was time to move.
Agnes just started to creep over the ledge when she thought she caught a whiff of movement out of the corner of her eye. Turning to the left, she inspected the empty space, only occupied by a single air-conditioning unit. A haze filled the air around it, something like a mist seen on a cool morning. Her eyebrow rose as she straightened up, considering going to investigate, but stopped herself when she realized that there would be no point to it. It was just mist, probably from the A/C unit.
Still, she eyed it closely before she turned, lifted her leg over the edge and hopped down into a smaller ledge, using her skills to climb and move as silently as possible. It was only when her feet touched the ground that Agnes absolutely melted into the shadows. He eyes locking onto the two guards (and an innocent driver), she smirked under her mask. This was going to be cake.
