The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

(AV) What do you mean this isn't a mission? (Combatant)
Agnes just gave the mouse permission to raid the cheese factory, didn’t she? Sitting back in her seat, looking up at the redhead who seemed so ready to devour her for attention, the same woman whose arm she almost broke for trying to hug her, well, she was allowing her to not freely flirt with her. Of course it was just a job, an attempt to maintain her cover so that the two of them could better blend into the environment. But she had to have faith that Cait would keep herself under control. No unnecessary touching.
Actually, make that no touching at all. Almost let herself open for a loophole there.
With her own flirty smile and her piercing, dark eyes, she casually pushed out a chair with her foot to allow Cait room to sit down. As she did, she tried to listen in to the conversation in the booth next to her but it kept dipping in and out of focus thanks to the ambient noise of the other patrons of this establishment. It was a bit annoying but now that she had a target to focus on, she wasn’t going to let them get away.
So, swallow her discomfort she continued to play the part and played it well. She sat up a little straight, pushing her chest out some and earning an appreciative look from several women who passed by. She ignored that, for now, and instead kept her focus solely on Cait.
>>"Oh I could admire you all night but a conversation? That sounds even better…So, what brings someone like you to a place like this? Not that I'm complaining, you are just the kind of person I was looking for."
Jesus, Cait was good at this.
”Mmm,” she purred. ”Just looking for a good time, is all,” she said lightly. ”Or, rather, someone to have a good time with.” A small wink capped this statement.
A flirtatious grin upon her lips, she took a sip of her drink as Cait settled into her seat. Admittedly, anyone passing by would not have noticed anything out of the ordinary here. Both were beautiful women, both seemed to be interested in the other, and their low-toned speech was perfect to display this kind of wanton attention they were giving one another. Of course, in this day and age, even such exchanges needed to be interrupted by the occasional jingle of a cell phone.
Cait pulled out her phone and typed out a quick message. Before it could look too suspicious, Agnes pulled up her own phone and proceeded to flip through it, almost as if she were managing her split attention span between the pretty redhead and the technological device between her hands. As she swiped through, a new message popped up – from Cait. Tapping on it, she read it quick before she put her own phone on silent and proceeded to respond.
She grinned and pretended to laugh, as if she had received a funny message. Chuckling she typed out a message of her own to send.
Left. Two women. One’s the dealer.
[SEND]
Setting her phone back down, she looked up when Cait caught her eye again. The two women seemed to be appraising one another, but only for a moment before the other finally led the way back into their character roles.
>>"Oh I'm so sorry, how rude of me, I completely forgot to ask for your name. I'm Olivia by the way, pleasure to meet you," ]
Thankfully, unlike Jasmine, Cait didn’t try to stick out her hand to shake it. She knew of Agnes’ powers far too well and that meant she knew better than to expect physical contact. Of course that didn’t mean she didn’t try to make it happen. Circling closer and closer in an attempt to get her into some nefarious hug trap was not unprecedented. But, the Scot showed surprisingly restraint as she simply gave her a sweet smile, rather than demanding a handshake.
Agnes bit her lip a little before she shared with her a knowing grin and responded. ”Winnie,” she said tenderly. ”My name’s Winnie. And it certainly is lovely to meet you…Olivia.” She purred again, cocking her head as she shared with her a teasing smile. ”Olvia…” she repeated. ”just…rolls off the tongue…doesn’t it?”
If she didn't know the woman any better, and she did, Cait would believe she was a happy, flirtatious lass out for a good time. Shame that tonight had to end honestly, it was much easier to not be afraid of her while she laughed and winked. Or maybe it was more scary knowing what she could do if she ever learned the truth. Or found the hug dairy. That was also a very, very thought.
"How could I say no to a good time with you?" Not entirely untrue, since she was loving the interaction, getting to play with Agnes for once. "As long as you're fine with little old me I'm sure we can fine something to entertain ourselves with."
It was pretty easy to play the part, she was born for fun and flirting. Christ she'd been getting enough practice at it for years now and she liked to think she knew her way around a conversation with an interested party. As long as she could discount the men she'd chatted up recently, they'd all been love, kind, complimentary and gay. Or gay and in a relationship. And women, well she was getting better at not flailing now thanks to some practice, but in a real setting with real possibilities she'd be blushing already.
Taking in the message, she casually looked back towards the bar, her eyes slowly passing over the direction indicated. Right, she could see one of them at least. Looked a little nervous but if this was a deal that was pretty expected. With a decent mental image now she continued the movement, before bringing it back round towards the person opposite her. It might have looked a little contrived from the outside but with most people drinking she reckoned no one would notice. Or care about a curious glance at someones goings on in a club like this. Voyeurism in gay bars was hardly new.
Can see one of them, if they move we won't lose them now.
"Yes it does dear, it do rather like it myself. Winnie though, that's a lovely name," a warm smile took over her face, "I bet there's a story behind that one." She'd just had to go with a name as unfitting as that. Anyone in the world would fit the image of a clumsy yellow bear better than Combatant and it was killing Cait to keep the giggles in. Seriously, her friend needed a good lesson in appropriate names in the future. "I'll try to keep the honey based jokes to myself, no matter how 'sweet' they might be."
Yeah, no way she would have been able to resist for the entire talk.
Between snippets she got a little bit more from their quarry, the unseen voice was fairly confident. Which meant one of two things, it was completely legal and they were just a normal person, or they really didn't think they'd get much more than a slap on the wrist.
Cait really wished it was the former, Combatant's wrist slapping was a bit more forceful than most. A lot more forceful actually, since it usually involved bruises and broken bones.
"You been coming here long, I'm sure I would remember you if you had been."
Agnes was not the most experienced when it came to fine art of flirtation. Especially when she was starting out, all of her flirting was done on the fly and it had never been very successful. Now that she was older, there were many times where flirting had to be used in order for survival or to get information she needed. The basics were simple enough for her to get a handle of, she treated it as little more than another fighting form that she had to master, only there was no cheating her way through it by simply touching someone. No, it require practice, patience, and skill, two of which Agnes had in abundance.
Facing Cait, the woman whom had continued to attempt to hug her, Agnes found herself easily slipping into the persona that she needed. It wasn’t that she wanted to flirt with Cait, it was more that she was comfortable enough around the redhead to know that even if she had fouled it up, it was not something that would lead to embarrassment. Actually, at this point, embarrassment could only be achieved if the flirtation were actually successful.
But that was crazy talk…right?
>>"How could I say no to a good time with you? As long as you're fine with little old me I'm sure we can find something to entertain ourselves with."
Agnes grinned, her eyes devouring the redhead in front of her as the two of them shared a look. However, for Agnes, it was all an act as she was merely trying to keep the act up for the sake of people around them. Cait knew that, but damn she was good at flirting. Maybe she could actually pay more attention to her for such things.
”Oh honey,” Agnes said sweetly. ”You’re more than fine.”
Agnes took the opportunity to subtly message Cait about where the targets were. Though Agnes had only heard snippets of the conversation, it was enough to make her suspicion. The kind was talk that was going on was certainly not what she was expected to be normal conversation in a place such as this. The illegal drug agenda was plastered all over it and she knew that the scum had to be operating out of here now. And, even if they weren’t, that was still one less drug dealer for the city to have to contend with.
With confirmation from Cait that she had them in her sights too, Agnes carefully dipped her head. All they had to do now was maintain their positioning and just wait and see where the evening took them. Eventually the dealer would make a connection, or not, and have to head back into the hole where she crawled out of. Once they did, well, they could move in and bring one more criminal to justice.
For now, she needed to just deal with the flirting. A rather scandalous comment was made about Cait’s pseudonym and, of course, it was thrown right back at her…
>>"Yes it does dear, it do rather like it myself. Winnie though, that's a lovely name…I bet there's a story behind that one… I'll try to keep the honey based jokes to myself, no matter how 'sweet' they might be."
Agnes raised her eyebrows a little flirtatiously as she eyed the woman. A smile on her painted lips as she took in a breath before responding. ”Oh please, don’t censor yourself on my part,” she grinned. ”I’ve heard all the honey pot jokes you can imagine.”
>>"You been coming here long, I'm sure I would remember you if you had been."
A glance out of the corner of her eyes and she confirmed that their prey was still nearby. Conversation was still necessary. ”No, actually,” Agnes confirmed with a small pout and a sigh. ”I’m brand new to the area as of two weeks ago.” With a sigh she claps her hands on her lap, totally not flexing her arms to inadvertently squeeze her chest together in an attempt to make them more prominent. ”Been all by myself since I was dumped and had to put a city between us.”

It would be easy to get lost in the fun and jokes between them, act like this was the real thing but it was hard for Cait to separate the image of her friend from the social butterfly in front of her. People who did't know them would think they were two girls enjoying each others company, Christ some who did might think they were actually flirting. But she couldn't help but have that sense of dread from knowing any attempted affection could be rewarded with broken bones, or worse.
There was also the ever present fear that went with lying to such a dangerous person. hard to ignore that fact even if she did have Becca's support in the matter.
Between bouts of conversation she got a decent confirmation that the pair Combatant had clocked were up to something dodgy. One was definitely dodgy and it seemed like the one she hadn't caught a glimpse of. Damn that was annoying, having a face made tailing someone so much easier.
Well, can't say the woman didn't have perfect timing. Just as she was taking a drink the honeypot joke came out. Nearly put the redhead into a coughing fit. She just, rolled with it so naturally that Cait was genuinely caught off guard with the bold reply. Wait, no she couldn't be getting all awkward again, as if this was real right? Please say she could hold it together long enough to deal with the dealer before she made an ass out of herself.
"I guess I'll just have to try extra hard then, wouldn't want to be so unoriginal," keeping the swing going was tough but she could pull it off. Sweet talk was kind of a part of her job at this point, she just had to think of it as business. Notching up her accent just a little in a playful way, "And cheers for the invitation to not censor, it's so hard sometimes to speak like a normal person."
See, she could play too. Although if this continued much longer she could see her dropping into full blown Scots to just mess with her friend and frankly she was terrible at it. Her dad could just switch on a dime to that weird talking. It freaked out her friends so much when he did it too, one thought he had started talking in tongues.
"Their loss in New Yorks gain then. More new blood to the city is always good, the scene here needs shaking up every now and then with it." A somewhat predatory smile touched her lips, "Especially when they are as breathe taking as you are."
Rein it in girl, she did have a job to do. Which might kick off soon actually, the people they were listening in on sounded like they were getting ready to move, whatever they were up too it was in motion. Giving a subtle signal to Combatant, her skills would be up soon. No one tracked and stalked like her.
While Cait struggled to keep herself under control (the mouse was running free in the cheese factory, after all) Agnes mind was working hard on solving the problem before them. They needed to get these drug dealers now and so long as she had them in her sights, or was at least in listening distance, then surely she would be able to track them. As much as she wanted to jump to interrogation, she knew that wasn’t the best course of action. They needed to keep them within sights so that they could more easily track them to bigger fish. There was always bigger fish in such a scum filled pond.
But, as much as Agnes wanted to put her full focus into this matter, she needed to take her try and remember that this all depending on her ability to blend in. If they were out on the streets, all she had to do was stalk from the shadows, vanish into a crowd, you know, the easy things. But in this setting, all of those would draw far too much attention. She needed to be seamless in the environment, and that meant that she needed to drink, party, and be the social butterfly that she knew she never wanted to encompass.
Still, at least she was with company that understood her predicament. As much as Cait was a serial huggist, the young woman really could be trusted. Since the last time, when she almost broken her arm for trying to sneak up on her, Cait had been respectful in keeping her distance. Of course she was still a bright fluffy ball of obnoxiousness, like a beam of sunlight shining in her eye first thing in the morning, but Agnes knew that she could trust her. They were a team, after all.
Looking across the table at the redhead, a small spark of a smile crossed her lips. She really was very pretty. Agnes imagined that in some other world, maybe they were actually close friends. It was doubtful because Agnes simply assumed that all Agneses (Agnesi?) across the dimensions were just as grumpy; but, maybe in one in a far off corner of the infinite-earth stream, they were close friends. Agnes sighed, getting back into character before her thoughts ran away with her.
Her joke about the honeypot must have struck a slight chord with the woman because she almost choked on her drink. In a rare show of emotion, Agnes stifled her own laughter, smiling a sincere and bright smile. It probably was one of the first times that Agnes smiled where it wasn’t driven by sarcasm or bloodlust; it was a glimpse of the sweet, beautiful woman that she was denied becoming thanks to her parents and a lifetime on the run. But it was only a moment. Her lips curled back over her teeth as she looked down to the table, somewhat embarrassed by the show of emotion. Thankfully, Cait was quick to turn that around.
>>"I guess I'll just have to try extra hard then, wouldn't want to be so unoriginal…And cheers for the invitation to not censor, it's so hard sometimes to speak like a normal person."
Agnes didn’t miss the subtle shift in the woman’s dialect. Her Scottish was showing and Agnes smirked a little at it. ”Oh anything to make you more relaxed, sweetie.” Said with a playful grin.
The backstory was complete BS but it wasn’t unheard of. Who wouldn’t travel across the country in ordered to escape a shattered love affair? Agnes had heard it many times before on television programs or in the background while tracking people. It was such a simple story and it was extraordinarily easy to change it into something that she could utilize for herself. Cait went with it rather well…
>>"Their loss in New York’s gain then. More new blood to the city is always good, the scene here needs shaking up every now and then with it…Especially when they are as breathe taking as you are."
Okay, so she blushed! There was nothing wrong with blushing. Either Agnes was just a really, really good actress who had complete control over her body, or for the briefest of seconds, Cait’s sweet words had managed to break through her hard, outer shell. Honestly it was probably the former because the later was just too ridiculous to comprehend. So, stuffing those thoughts aside, she shared another flirty smile with the young woman.
”Oh Olivia…” she grinned. ”You must have honey on your tongue to say such sweet things…”
Agnes took a second to catch her breath. Tucking a strand of hair behind her ears, she bit her bottom lip in thought. Was this part of the act? Was she unknowingly making herself this adorable? The answer to that question was unknown to her as she lifted her eyes to Cait’s. She watched her in silent for a moment before she caught movement out of the corner of her eye. Their quarry was moving, removing themselves from their chairs and heading out to the dance floor. They couldn’t lose them in the throng of people so, Agnes ground her teeth and shifted her glance back to Cait. Dammit.
Her smile returned and she slowly removed herself from the table, her hip jutted out in a seductive manner as she leaned on the table, grinning at the redhead. ”Would…you like to dance?” Just then, the music changed from something vibrant and energetic to something far more subdued and blush worthy. She ground her teeth, stiffening a bit, but knew she didn’t have a choice. Before Cait could answer, Agnes spoke in a low voice, out of character. If they were going to slow dance, there were rules. ”Hands on the dress only,” she warned.
It was one of the strangest experience of her life so far to see Agnes herself, the tried and tested badass of the team being a normal, slightly giddy girl. It was like watching a tornado from far off. Amazing, beautiful and so damn dangerous when you knew what they were like. The fact their banter seemed so real, even from her point of view just kept messing with her perceptions of the evening so far. One moment she was genuinely wrapped up in the womans smile and voice, the next she was terrified of the moment the mask's had to come off.
OK, she could try at least one Scots sentence for the fun of it. No way she could mangle it too badly right? "I'll happily relax wi' ye aroond, ye jist make it sae easy fur a lassie efter aw," the words barely got out before the giggles came, she just couldn't keep a straight face with the weird rolling words in her ears. It was just such a bad attempt at the accent. "Sorry, I just had to give it a try."
Fun though, not many people in the city got the chance to hear the old dialect in person. Sure TV and the internet made regional accents way more common but still, not a huge amount of broad scots speakers wandered the city.
Oh. My. God. Combatant was blushing. Like actually blushing and smiling at her. She was a way better actor than Cait had given her credit for, if she was pulling off such a realistic performance. Which it was. No way Agnes was actually into it, she'd made her thoughts on the Scot very well know on many occasions. Loudly and at great length after one particular hug based incident. Yes, there was no doubt in her mind that it wasn't real fun, as much as she wanted to be able to act this way with her friend.
"You do very well yourself, melting an innocent girls heart with all the smooth talking." She watched the pair they were watching move behind her vision as she gave the reply, her facade dropping quickly so she could concentrate on the ques she got from the other woman. What she hadn't expected was an invitation quite so bold. Dancing, with Agnes! Seriously was this like her secret birthday or something?
Standing slowly, with a more than real grin plastered across her face, "What monster could say no to you dear? Not me that's for certain." Not even the warning dampened her mood. Tame dancing was still dancing in her book, it was all fun to her. Going out and enjoying time with friends like this was like her primary de-stressing method. This one would just be a little harder with the whole, watching the skin contact thing. Answering in a low voice, "Got it, trust me I'd rather not have a shattered arm for the next couple of months." Tended to make playing instruments pretty difficult.
Putting her hands on her companions waist instead of anywhere more, inappropriate and moving slowly with the music she made sure not to lose her cool. They still had a 'mission' to take care of after all. "Which way are they moving? Can't get a clear view?" At least talking was easier now, no one would bat an eye at the two of them so close with a slow song going.
>>"What monster could say no to you dear? Not me that's for certain."
Agnes could feel it again. That small heat that wanted to color her cheeks. However she managed to choke down whatever strange sensation that was as she loomed over the pretty redhead. This was just for pretend, in order to get close to their target, but it so, why was she feeling heat on her face? Usually the idea of being so close to the woman immediately put her on edge. But right now she was willing to look past all that for the sake of the mission. This drug ring needed to be taken down and if there was anyone on the team dedicated to bring down organizations like this, it was definitely Agnes.
So, despite whatever strange sensations she could feel, Agnes swallowed them all down hard and focused only on the task at hand. Besides, it was too late to take it back now since the look on Cait’s face seemed to show a woman who was definitely not going to turn her down. It was flattering, she guessed, but she had to remind herself that it was only pretend. After all, you can’t almost break a person’s arm and then get little flutters when they’re being nice to you again.
She sighed. Honestly, at this point, she would rather that she were with Impact than Cait but it was too late to step back now. The dread of what she was about to do only increased when the music that came over the speakers was enough to cause her to stiffen up. It was suddenly starting to feel like a very, very bad idea again.
For the mission… she mentally repeated. For the mission.
Swallowing whatever fears she had she made sure Cait knew the rules. They could dance but she needed to keep her hands on her dress and the dress only. Any skin-to-skin contact would prove to be too much for her, especially given how much combat experience Cait had by this point. Thankfully the redhead seemed to agree.
>> "Got it, trust me I'd rather not have a shattered arm for the next couple of months."
Agnes smirked. A genuine smirk. But as quick as it appeared, it was gone as she turned and led Cait out onto the dance floor. When they got close enough to their target, the woman turned and braced herself. Feeling her hands upon her waist, Agnes winced for a second, expecting that discomfort of her body immediately trying to seek out whatever combative muscle memory it could draw from the redhead. It was like a child, waiting for the doctor to insert the needle and then opening their eyes in surprise when she said she was done. There was no discomfort, not overflow of information. Cait kept her hands squarely on her dress, just like she promised she would.
A small breath of relief from her lips, Agnes started to sway a little to the slow song that was still playing over the speakers. However she couldn’t just keep her arms flopping about at her sides, now could she? With Cait already having her hands upon her waist, Agnes sucked in a deep breath before she raised her arms and gently placed them upon the other’s clothed shoulders. She was an inch or so shorter than Cait but, with her arms wrapped around her shoulders, she did her best to ensure that they merely rested upon the redhead’s shirt and not on her bare neck. Carefully she intertwined her fingers and kept swaying to the tune.
For a second Agnes allowed herself to just be swept away in the music and in the fact that she was actually dancing with someone. When was the last time she had done this? She couldn’t remember the last time she danced simply for the fun of it and, honestly, questioned if that was ever something that she had done. Did missions count? There had been times where she had to dance for missions, including this one. Honestly she was unsure of how she felt and instead tried to focus on where she could even look appropriately. Her eyes drifted from the woman’s chest, to her lips, off to side, and back towards her eyes. All of it just felt so…awkward and…something else she couldn’t identify.
Curling her painted lips in, over her teeth, she took another shaky breath as she found herself eyeing the redhead again. They turned, slowly, to the music and the sight of their target suddenly reminded her that they were actually doing something important. That’s right, they weren’t here to dance. Before she could come to terms if she were irritated or pleased by that, Cait broke in in a low voice.
>>"Which way are they moving? Can't get a clear view?"
Agnes took a second to look off to the side, just a glance. Her quick eyes immediately caught sight of them as they continued to dance. They were just as slow but definitely more handsy as the taller woman reached down and cupped the other’s posterior more and more firmly with each passing second. It definitely seemed as if they would be going home together but, for the other woman’s part, Agnes hoped that she would think better of it. Eyes back on Cait, she lowered her voice as she responded.
”Still there…” she whispered back. ”Off to the right.” A deep breath. ”I don’t think they’re staying long, though. The dealer is getting all kinds of handsy. She’ll probably suggest they get out of here soon.”

This was a one of a kind experience. She was slowing swaying to music, in a pretty intimate looking way, with Combatant. The Combatant. Break your arms as soon as look at you Combatant. Either this was the best dream ever or the most sadistic nightmare Cait had ever had slowly working towards some kind of horrible ending. Or this was all a massive prank the boss had whipped up and she was about to get dunked in slime.
But it wasn't any of that, it was real and she was actually getting a kind-of hug from her biggest target. The unreachable goal had been attained and boy was it sweet. It wasn't a secret how she felt about hugs, they were her bread and butter after all and now she was the closet she'd ever be to one with Agnes. Shame it would come to a close soon but hey, she was going to enjoy it while it lasted. The feel of the arms around her neck, the warmth as they stood so close. The....smile on her friends face? Wait, that wasn't right. No, no, no it really wasn't good. This was a prank! She'd been set up after all, she was just seconds away from some kind of divine retribution in the form of a fist.
Thankfully, the softly spoken words shook her out of the little paranoia fit she was in, giving her a little clarity and putting the more reasonable part of her brain back into action. Maneuvering the two of them gently so they could both steal glances at their quarry, the evaluation given to her was pretty spot on. They were on the verge of leaving for one reason or another.
"OK, when they leave give it a couple seconds then shove me away. Not too hard mind, but storm off looking angry. Easiest way for the two of us to get out without people getting suspicious about the timing. Plus you're our resident sneak, makes sense you get closer too them while I play back up." Once upon a time it would have stung Cait to admit how much better at so many things her teammates were but she wasn't a kid anymore, Agnes was more skilled than her at this, made sense she took the lead. "Try not to bowl over too many people when you push me." Wouldn't do to hurt someone when they were meant to be the good guys.
One last look confirmed the pair was preparing to abandon the club. Well, it was now or never for them too, if they got away this kind of unexpected lead would be gone for good. Not that she'd been expecting tonight to actually be work but if it kept her head on her shoulders Cait was happy to deal with some criminals on an off day.
"Now or never then, I'll follow a few seconds behind." A big grin was plastered over her face, this was the fun bit. That and a little action was going to make her friend happy so it was a good night in her book. Just the thing for a relaxing night out with the girls.
Agnes struggled to work through whatever odd sensations she was currently feeling right now. The redhead seemed to be enjoying the closeness a bit much but, if she were being honest, Agnes didn’t quite mind it either. Though she was careful with how she touched her, making sure that they had no skin contact, it was still probably the most intimate that the warrior had ever felt. Strange because honestly she imagined that Cait would be the last person she experienced anything like this with. But what even was it, anyways?
She pushed the thoughts out, choosing to not focus on them. It wasn’t productive and it certainly wasn’t going to do her well to be distracted. So, with a gulp, she pushed any stray, odd thoughts out of her head and instead focused. They were here for a reason, after all and they were so close to their goal that she couldn’t help but taste it. All they needed now was to take that final step.
Carefully Agnes turned her partner to so that they could both see their targets. With a good look at them, and the notion that they were leaving soon, they had to come up with a plan. Agnes whispered in Cait’s ear who they were after and, thankfully, it seemed that Cait herself had come up with a plan. Suddenly she was glad to have a partner on this mission.

So she paused, took a breath, and shared a glance with Cait -- it was time.
>>"Now or never then, I'll follow a few seconds behind.
She nodded. The two shared another turn before she mimed something being whispered in her ear. Suddenly Agnes stiffened up, placed her hands on Cait and shoved -- only she didn’t quite aim right. Instead of shoving the woman by her shoulders she accidentally shoved her away by pushing against her chest. Agnes was momentarily mortified but shook it off when people started to stare. She angrily pointed at the woman.
”H-How…dare you not tell me you have an STD!” Not seeing anything wrong with what she said, she spun on her heel and stormed off the dance floor, quietly following the couple they were targeted. Almost done...she repeated to herself...almost done...
