The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Oh. More of a pose for pictures thing? Miranda quirked an eyebrow at June who sighed.
"Please don't mind me. You keep being your handsome self." June didn't sound as enthusiastic as she should have given their proximity, but this was everything that was wrong with human interactions. What should have been business, Miranda was trying to turn into something worse. And she always did that.
There was nothing wrong with never ever ever wanting to dumb enough to fall in love.
June arranged her arms around Beau, touching him as little or as delicately as possible. She went through the usual picture taking range; she knew her angles. She knew how to look like an accessory for another person. She'd seen it far too often.
"Excellent. Mr. Bishop, if you'd like to see?"
She was a fair hand at drawing and the design was graphic and stylish. Only the finest specimen would be able to make it look good. And the companion piece made an excellent accentuation.
June quietly went to collect the first set of pinned clothes. Other than a hem, the second set didn't look like it needed too much.

Beau stepped off of the little platform that he was standing on with a half-spin. It was a special, stylish way of showing off of his body while still making his way down a set of stairs. He had kind of coined it. There were countless vines that imitated him, but no one could get it quite right.
"Wonderful, Miranda. Absolutely wonderful."
In all honesty, Beau had absolutely no idea what he was looking at. He could somewhat make out two forms, one male and one female, but he was lost after that.
But if there was one thing that acting had taught him, it was to never admit when you didn't know something.
Fake it till you make it, baby.
The actor then turned around and glanced at the next rack of clothes. "Oh god, not that one," he said, his voice slightly disgusted. He was pointing at a pair of pants.
He didn't have to do mustard, but June was sure as hell gonna try to talk him into it now.
A few more outfits, a few more pins, and a liberal sprinkling of compliments. Eventually, finally it was time to escort Mr. Beau out.
June hung the pinned items on the rolling rack and left them by the elevator where she escorted Beau.
"It was a pleasure, mon chouchou." And her smile was genuine because he really was quite the cabbage. "These outfits will be delivered to your publicist and he will disseminate zem as he wants you to show off. We'll be in touch over ze fancy clothes."
She air kissed around his cheeks and smiled him into the elevator. June even helpfully reached around to push the G for "ground floor" because she wasn't sure he knew how to read.
