So, cbox had an idea! This is my super informal formalization of it.
Horrible stuff has happened in Orlando recently. Perhaps in MROverse there was a similar event, related to mutants, and now people are reacting in NYC.
We're thinking a peaceful anti-murder rally and public first aid lessons, with current volunteers Firefly as nurse educator and Memo as Super Realistic Patient (c), and a few public school classes as well.
Might this escalate into more anti-mutant violence and possibly another round of riots?
Don't worry if your character can't really volunteer! There are still opportunities for threads with first aid classes, during the rally, and after the rally (depending on what happens there).
Well, if the Utopia plot is going ahead (this should really be merged into one thread), then we should likely have the initial murder incident happen before anything else moves forward. Does anyone have any ideas for an NPC to be subject to be killed?
Then, possibly one more first aid thread at the mansion following that event for any mansion kids wanting to attend, followed by the rally. My suggestion would be that the rally would be in NYC, in front of somewhere important. Then, any character could attend and chose how involved they want to be.
Rather than a single murder it would actually be a bit of a mutant massacre (to the best of my understanding, right Adder?), so I don't think any specific NPC need be named. I have a timeline for the Utopia planned out, I'm just trying to give a little more time for anyone who hasn't weighed in to do so before I take it to the mods. I nominate the World Trade Center square for the big NYC peace rally

Just a quick PSA for all who have not yet heard:
The Anti-Murder Rally Plot and Utopia Plot have become one and the same! Now, the beginning stages of the Utopia plot that lead up to the formation of the nation are basically the Anti-Murder Plot plus malfunctioning META Bots and violence on both sides, not just against mutants.
