The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Got a plot in mind?
MRO plots are player-created the Mods facilitate and organize the big ones, but we get the ideas from you. Do you have a plot in mind, and want to know whether it needs Mod approval? Check out our plot guidelines.
We had a virus outbreak in the mansion not too long ago. That was scary and cool.
And the last X-man movie was about a mutant who could 'cure' the mutation in the genes of other mutants. (how come he didn't cure himself? I never got that one lol)
So here's what I'm thinking:
What if there is a mutant, a good mutant who is just confused and scared, who can make people sick? And he makes mutants lose control of their powers?
The governement would want him for warfare, most definitely. A mutant who could make people sick if they were in a certain radius of him would cause quite a stir.
And the X-men would want to help him or figure out a way for him to control his powers.
Lol, no its not a fully developed idea,...its barely half baked but wouldn't it be cool? and very very challenging, who doesnt love a challenge?

Not too simple. I don't want Haywire to be an experiment at all though. She will have a past as soon as I type it up and give it to lady.
I mean I know why the labs want her. I could have her working for them in the very begining..say they 'picked her up'. she does need a place to go. she's a wandering soul so to speak
It could be that the research facility knew about her and they were actually watching her and tracking her and observing the things that happen around her, so that they could then report it to the government or some such thing.

Here's Daria's idea with my own editing for the time being since we are just beginning and I don't want to give away all the details:
The mutant called Haywire is Jacquelyn (Jack) Guy. She is currently 13 years old and is having terrible problems with her mutation. When around humans, she causes them to go deathly ill, and when around mutants, she makes their powers go...well, incredibly haywire.
Her parents took her to doctors who began studying her in an isolated room. After some time, an unknown 'rescuer' came and released her from the labs. This rescuer has been psyching Jack out and she is now angry with the doctors and for the misunderstandings and judgement she receives from others. Unaware of the rescuer's true intentions, Jack is being used for her powerful mutation for greedy purposes.
*This plot will start out with Jack's 'escape' from the labs by her rescuer and accomplices. (Participators include: Oppressor-give me a PM, his crew, and Jack who will be controlled by Daria for now.)
Next, a mass meeting in the living room of the mansion will be held about a newspaper clipping with the escape of Jack from the labs that Tricity finds. (Participators include: Anyone living in the mansion.)
Those members who do not fall into those categories will have to be patient for now till the plot gets rolling, though you may certainly continue personal plots and a knowing of the escaped mutant by the media.*
