The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Jiri standing up was a bit strange, but Ambrose paid it no mind. Maybe he was just getting antsy. There was no problem with that.
"With regards to certain companies, what do you have to say with regards to the Faust financial situation? Do you believe the Wolf exposé, or do you side with Faust's press statement that this was a juvenile hacking attempt, and all records were falsified?”
”No comment,” he said blankly. ”But if it is true - and I’m not making a statement on the validity of the situation - I would like to say that JW does not condone such underhanded dealings.”
"Everyone knows Faust Pharm and JW are the two major players in the mutant cure business. Was this corporate espionage?”
”JW does not condone such underhanded dealings,” he said again, blankly. He hoped that no one noticed how he didn’t exactly answer the question.
"You have black wings remarkably similar to those of Jabberwocky aka Jörmungandr aka Death Dragon. Your company is working on a power suppressing drug. Admit it: 'Ambrose Jaager' is nothing but the pill-popping alter-ego of the wanted mutant terrorist.”
He figured that would come up eventually. There were always conspiracy theories that touched on the truth, but if the truth was absurd enough, those were the ones that people trusted the least. At least he was prepared.
”Yes,” Ambrose said drily, and very sarcastically. ”I am secretly the… Death Dragon, because of course I’m the only mutant on the planet with black wings. And you may wonder how I conceal my size so well. I will not address that because I feel as if this AMA has gotten too absurdly sexual already.” Hey, he was blunt this time around. The innuendos were too much already, and his dignity had already been irreparably damaged by the fact that he was doing this entire thing shirtless.

The corporate espionage questions were answered fairly enough, Jiri thought. Probably someone in HR was already blacklisting him for even mentioning the incident in the first place. But seriously, everyone wanted to know. It was kind of all over the news, so it hadn't hurt to ask. Zero Answer was pretty much expected, but it was worth a shot.
The Jormundandr question, on the other hand, was pure gold. Jiri muffled a laugh behind his hand. On his screen, a new "question" popped into the chat.
Mr. Jaager is such a busy man, why don't you quit this interview before he needs to get dragged bodily off to his next meeting?
Uh-huh. Yeah, Ms. Brass wasn't fooling anyone. Be that as it may, Jiri could take a hint when it was literally right in front of his face.
"Sadly, folks, that's about all the time we have. Turns out that CEOs are lucky to get even this much time scheduled into their day for 'teh Internet,' and we're all very grateful to the secretaries that allow it.
"Before we sign off: Mr. Jaager, do you have any parting thoughts you'd like to leave your many, many, many new admirers?"
