The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

For a woman, the blond had some quick reflexes. She knocked Cole's hand away after he popped her in the face. Then she began to glow. It started in her hands before creeping up her arms to her face. The glowing was eerily and creepy. It was not natural. People were not suppose to glow. It made the blond look like a demon, a creepy, but strangely alluring demon.
And although she talked tough, Cole had dealt with people like her before, they thought that sense they could take out a few fighters in bars that suddenly made them an expert in fighting. Try fighting for years against opponents that were professional trained. They would see an entirely different side of fighting. However, Cole held his tongue. He was scared of that glowing. Who knew what that stuff might do? Luckily, she began to explain about how Cole could help himself out.
"That's a cool idea and everything, but if it does not look like me, how do they know it was me who was getting revenge against them?"
Tses considered his question, shrugging slightly. "Depends on how bad you want them to know it's you. If they see you do it, they could blame it on you, doesn't seem your style though so maybe someone won't believe them. Or, you could just have the satisfaction of getting back all on it's own." She pushed the hair from her face and leaned back against the wall.
"Or you can just keep....getting in trouble." She added. Maybe she was baiting him a little. But it wasn't everyday she got a chance to get one of the mansion kids to get into some trouble. Chaos was chaos. The mansion could use a little fun.
Trouble. Cole didn't like getting in trouble, but he wanted to get back at those stupid brats. He pondered over the question as the white haired woman leaned against the wall. A length of leg, peeking from beneath the woman's skirt, managed to catch his eye, but he quickly returned to the topic at hand. The brats thought they were safe, hiding behind teacher, thinking he couldn't fight back. Well, if no one could power that he was responsible, how could he get in trouble? The young woman had persuaded Cole, mean if he did not want to admit it to her.
"Alright, what did you have to mind?" Cole asked, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. He wanted vengeance, something that would make those kids leave him alone for good.
"I'm Cole by the way. That way you do not have to call me soot-apus." Cole said, extending his arm.
