The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

Evelyn smiled politely as Kate talked. While the girl said she understood, Evelyn had a small bit of doubt at that statement. In many ways, she felt it was hard for anyone to really understand. Crazy dreams, voices in your head. That was just the tip of the ice burg. But Kate probably had her own daemons. Most mutants did. It leveled the playing field between them in many ways.

"I think it would have been easier to just deal with the voices. The memory thing makes things a little more complicated, although it makes me useful around here at least. Especially with all the restoration going on..." She glanced around and frowned slightly with a sigh. "Dreams...That is one thing I do miss having. Crazy or not." She paused and realized she was rambling than blushed. "Sorry, it's been a long day. Sometimes it's nice to take off the customer service face for a minute, I didn't mean to ramble."
