The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Jezebel chuckled silently to herself as she listened to the cash register being broken into. All-in-all, the woman was only continuing to appear awesome in Jezebel’s eyes. She definitely liked the idea of this morally ambiguous woman hanging around Penelope. If she could get the two to become close friends, then maybe Penelope wouldn’t be such a drag all the time. It had to be possible, though, because Penelope loved making friends with everyone.
Still. If she were out and Penelope were in, that couldn’t bode well for how things were going. Damn Penelope for losing her cool!
Bah! It would have to be a problem that she dealt with later. For now Jezebel had some free time so maybe she could connect with this woman herself. That certainly seemed like a far better option than slinking back into Penelope’s head and waiting for the next time she got upset.
Once she was sure she was dressed (in the stretched out Hello Kitty gear), Jezebel stalked back up to the woman who was raiding the cash register.
>> "So, I told Penelope I would help find her sister...And even if she did cover me in chili and then try to clean it with her spit, I typically try keeping my word. Do you, well, she... I don't even know how to deal with this now…I guess I just don't want you leaving Penelope somewhere bad when you change back."
Jezebel grinned. The woman was still trying to help Penelope? How…sweet. Maybe there was indeed a chance for the two of them to become friends. Jezebel knew that Penny needed the outside influences; there was only so much that she herself could to keep the girl from the straight and narrow.
Her shoulder up, looking a little coyly, Jezebel smirked as she batted her eyes.
“Aw, sugar, do you think that I’m not trustworthy?” Her smirk twisted in a quasi-devious manner before she straightened up. “Whatever. I always take her home. But…that won’t happen for awhile.” She stretched out her long, bulky body which inadvertently caused her miniscule and extremely tight clothing to pull against her body a bit tighter. One definitely needed no imagination to see what she had going on for her. Loosening up, she turned her attention back to Tses and beamed. “Right now…I need some FUN…”
Reassured that Penelope would at least make it home, Tses lost the defensive stance she had put up towards her fellow mutant. She felt more free to enjoy the strange companion's company, regardless of her rather intimidating appearance. But the more she talked, she felt a little warning feeling flash through her mind, and she paused, taking it in.
Tses was a rebel. She was all about fun, and mischief, and enjoyed getting into things she probably shouldn't. Yet the way this woman said the word it made her feel cautious for a moment. What could possibly be fun for the red skinned mutant? Obviously she didn't mind Tses' criminal activity, so that could bode well for her. Yet, it could also end badly. People who approved of stealing could also be mass murderers, psychopaths, pyromaniacs...
She momentarily wished for pyromaniac.
"I don't care what you do, as long as you get the kid home. You can ride a motorcycle through the mall for all I care. Actually, that would be entertaining, and I'd probably watch." She smirked and moved away from the cash register. She pushed her hair out of her face, and glanced at the woman and her rather--- she shook her head and looked away. There was something very messed up about that little kid having this inside of her. Her bangs fell back into her eyes almost the second she moved her fingers away, and she cross her arms across her own less endowed chest. She was self conscious enough about her appearance and this woman made her feel that much more aware of her own lean but slightly skinny self.
"I'm guessing Hello Kitty stores aren't your style of fun." There was a tinkle in her eyes as she said it. Her curiosity was breaking through, and she was suddenly hoping she could tag along. She was used to being the 'big dog' when it came to crime and less than legal activity. She enjoyed the challenge she felt when she was around people who could one up her.

Jezebel smirked. She was liking this woman’s easy-going attitude more and more with every passing second. It was so rare that Penelope made friends that Jezebel would stand. As a matter of fact, it was so rare that Jezebel began to wonder just how friendly Tses was to Penelope. Penelope could have easily misconstrued Tses’ actions as being friendly when she was actually trying to be a bitch. Penelope was just that way with everyone, she loved them all.
It was a bad habit that she should break.
But, in the meantime, Jezebel would enjoy this bit of companionship. This woman seemed like she could be quite the hellraiser herself, so who was she to deny? So long as she didn’t get in her way, she was absolutely fine with keeping her around.
Arms still crossed over her chest, she watched and waited for Tses to finish looting before she turned her attention back to her.
>> "I'm guessing Hello Kitty stores aren't your style of fun."
“You’d be right,” Jezebel smirked wickedly. “Pinky, cutesy things are Penelope’s taste. Give me some nice, sleek black leather any day. Sadly, the little brat didn’t pack my clothes today like she should. She is always supposed to have something for me to wear. She is slipping.” The red Amazon sighed as she peeked outside the entrance to the store. So many people had fled that already there was crowd of curiously onlookers. Soon enough there would be security. How fun. “Well, that’s my cue to leave.” she said as she caught the slight hint of yellow lights reflecting off store windows. She turned, smirking at the blonde with a fiery gaze in her eyes. “You comin’, or what?”
Young girl transformed into giant glowy eyed red monster, starts to leave, asks if you're going with them. Most people would politely say 'No, I should probably be going. I have pets to let out, and laundry to do, and more safe things to experience'. Giant red monster in a hello kitty shirt asks you to hang out, you usually try to get out of the situation so you don't accidentally laugh at them and get your face smashed in. You didn't usually sit and talk about your choice in clothing, how you prefer leather to pink fluffy cute shirts, how your inner child let you down and forgot to bring your clothes and-----
How in the world would anyone know what you WOULD DO in this situation? Because as far as she knew, this was just one of those situations so ridiculous and random and...bizarre, there was nothing to do but roll with it. Forget what you should probably do, or what people would probably think.
Tses was a mutant. Normal behavior was something mythical you just gave up hoping for.
"Eh, have nothing better to do. Why not? Maybe we can find you something less 'cute' out in the mall to wear." She smirked, but she said it in an understanding way, by no means trying to mock.
She hoped the red woman understood that.
She really didn't want to piss anyone off today, especially someone who looked like they could break her arm with her bare hands.
>> "Eh, have nothing better to do. Why not? Maybe we can find you something less 'cute' out in the mall to wear."
“Now your using your melon,” Jezebel grinned as she turned away from the woman. She had opted to follow her, so, so be it! She didn’t mind the woman hanging around since she seemed to be of the same devil-may-care attitude as herself. That was always a plus since there was less that Jezebel had to hold back. She didn’t like to hold anything back.
Stepping out into the open air of the mall, Jezebel smirked wide as she placed her hands on her curvy hips and looked out over the sea of people who were either walking by, pretending not to see her, or were recoiling in terror, unable to peel their eyes away. So pathetic, the lot of them! Oh how she just wanted to reach over and start rending heads from shoulders, but such a bloodbath wasn’t required right now. She promised Penelope she wouldn’t commit such acts unless she desperately needed to and, right now, she didn’t.
Oh, how she hoped that someone would offer her an opportunity, though.
A glance back to make sure Tses was following, Jezebel smirked and winked at the nearest group of people before doing a faux-lunge towards them. They screamed and scattered off to the corners of the mall. Jezebel smiled before she continued to lead the way.
“Now,” she said more to herself than anything, “Where can a lady like myself find suitable attire.” She hummed as she strolled down the length of the mall, causing people to part and dash away from her. She loved such attention. A glance over to Tses and she beamed. “So, sweetheart, what about you? Anything special you looking for that ole Jezzie here can get for you? Clothes? Money? A man?” Lashing out she easily snatched up a young, handsome man who was attempting to skirt by her and easily held him up, flailing, by the scruff of his shirt. The red Amazon then held the man over to Tses, offering him up. She was so thoughtful.
Tses wandered behind the well built mutant, and observed from a short distance behind as she made her way through the considerably thinned mall crowds. Most people seemed to be quickly and determinedly making their way towards the exits, some pretending not to be terrified of the mutant, most failing rather terribly. Tses found it amusing how people tried to hide their prejudice and fear. They avoided eye contact, ducked their heads, shuffled quicker and kept their children far out of sight. It was a shame, really. She didn't think all mutants deserved that form of fear. But it was amusing at the same time, because she was probably one of the sorts that did.
As the figure in front of her turned and winked, Tses snorted a laugh at the lunge that scattered the next group of people, and shook her head with amusement. "Maybe Hot Topic further down this line of stores. Or there may be something in one of the department stores but that's less likely. Spencers would mostly just have t-shirts I think..." She skimmed her brain, trying to think of any other stores that would offer fitting attire. Probably something leather... and skimpy. Not really the type of clothing Tses wore, but that was more because of her bad self image than for modesty's sake.
"I'm not looking for anything really. And definitely not a man. They've caused me too much trouble." She blinked in surprise as the Amazon held a random man in front of her, and while he was cute, something about the look of terror on his face suggested he would probably not be the most willing companion. "I'm just out for the adrenaline rush, really. Money is just a way to cause enough trouble to get it most of the time." She laughed.
