The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

The man’s attitude was far too casual, that needed changing. Sergeant Maddok swiftly swung around his rifle with the intent of hitting the man in the jaw. That should serve to not only make it clear that this was no laughing matter, but knock the cigarette out of his mouth.
If the man’s response was hostile he’d immediately be shot by three men with tranquiliser weapons. If a second after that he was still reacting in a hostile fashion bullets would follow the tranquilisers.
James saw the man swing his rifle, but he could move out of the way, taking the shot he fell to his side and tried to put his broken arm out to catch his fall, instead he just slammed into the ground, putting unwanted pressure on his already hurt arm. with a grunt he looked up at the man "that was a mistake." he said sitting back up and spitting blood out of his mouth.
"Now who the hell are you guys." James' combat high was wearing off, and his whole body was starting to ache, he could now feel the full extent of his injuries, but tried to hide them from the men.
“You will answer our questions,” Sergeant Maddok grunted at the man, restraining himself from following the comment up with a kick to the ribs. The sergeant had a reputation for brutality, and was feared by his men, but his battlefield prowess and determination to get every man home, even if only so he could kick there ass himself meant that they all willingly followed him.
“What were you doing at the mansion?” he demanded. The man was clearly in pain, and had fallen on his broken arm. He was in no position to be making threats, and anything less than his full cooperation would have painful results.
James simply looked at the man, not saying a word. He knew the time for joking around was over, and his military instincts took over. He was trained to resist interrogation, and trained well. Most soldiers were taught to only give up the basic information, name, rank, and such, but due to Jame's history, he was trained to not speak at all. Plus if these were cops, they wouldn't hurt him much, especially not enough to make him talk, out in these woods it would be easier for there superiors to find them using suck methods. James just stared at the man, eye to eye.
At a nod from Sergeant Maddok the Corporal with him fired and hit the man with a tranquiliser dart. Once the man was unconscious the corporal and another man assessed his wounds, found them to be non life threatening, and swiftly bound him. Picking him up the team returned to the helicopter and boarded it with the prisoner, after removing the tracking device from the jeep and replacing it with a better concealed one. The helicopter rose from the ground and headed towards the lab.
