The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

The half-blind Psych slowly strolled over to the two dead bikers, and cleaned the blood of his knives on their leather jackets. He then holstered them onto his armband, and looked back to see the red woman throw the body that she had played around with like a doll and looked at him. He knew she'd make no move against him, as that wasn't the point anymore. They had the same point of view and accepted that they were on the same team.
>>“Not bad. Not. Bad. At. All. Maybe you do know what you are doing.”
He slowly strolled towards the big, red woman. He looked up into her eyes, trying to understand how she is the way she is. She is not human, that's for sure. He looked around at the mess they made, though pleased that he could cause significant damage. You did good today, lifted a car up for Christs sake. He put his arm out, in front of the woman, and smirking, "Psych."
Jezebel grinned wide as she looked down at the man. He seemed to be judging whether or not that she was trustworthy, or even someone that he wanted to hang out with. In reality, Jezebel just didn’t care. So long as the man didn’t attempt to kill her again, Jezebel was only too happy to leave this situation without having to kill a fellow mutant. That was one thing that she believe in above all else, a mutant’s life was far more valuable than a humans.
Even if they didn’t leave as friends, that was fine. So long as they left as equals to further the mutant cause. And judging by the way he killed those humans, he obviously didn’t care for them; probably almost as much as Jezebel didn’t care for them. It was a thought that made her smile.
A fraction of a second later, interrupted from her musings, the red Amazon looked down to see the man offering his hand to her.
>> "Psych."
A friendship it is then.
Smiling, Jezebel reached out (cautiously of course since she didn’t want to fall victim to his abilities in case this was simply a ruse) and took the man’s hand. She made sure to not squeeze too hard since a crushed hand was no way to start off a friendship.
“Jezebel Tickle,”[/b] she grinned. “You should come by the Sanctuary. I’m sure there are a mutant or two that share our beliefs in the eradication of this doomed species known as humans.”[/b]
Psych felt the strength of the woman by the handshake. She was really tough, no doubt, and it was good for Psych to make his first mutant friend. He eyed her body, trying to understand how she is like this. I guess everybody has their own secrets.
>>“Jezebel Tickle. You should come by the Sanctuary. I’m sure there are a mutant or two that share our beliefs in the eradication of this doomed species known as humans.”
Jezebel..Tickle.. Tickle.. Love the irony. And this "Sanctuary"? Psych tried his best to put the pieces together. Sounds like a place filled with people like us. He knew he wasn't the best in crowds, and didn't like associating with people much, however sharing the same views against these normal people. Psych weighed his thoughts, and smirked to himself.
"Tell me more about this so-called Sanctuary."
He thought he might as well see what kind of people are there, and maybe he could begin new friendships with them, in order to cause some more chaos. Psych let go of Jezebel's hand, then slowly rubbed his hand. She is strong. No doubt.
Jezebel grinned. Now the man was talking her favorite language. She didn’t know much about the Sanctuary herself, but she did know was that a lot of likeminded mutants seemed to find their way there. Her new brothers, the Abyssi were very much like her, even Princess Syn held very much the same attitude. Though she couldn’t speak for everyone that walked in through the Sanctuary’s golden doors, there was nothing wrong with directly a likeminded individual there, was there?
She smirked a little as she nodded.
“I think you’ll like it there,”[/b] she said honestly. “Not EVERYONE will be as powerful as you or I, but a lot of us do have the same mentality. Really it is just a place for wayward, homeless, down trodden mutants to go. It offers them a warm bed, good food, and chance to feel like there is one place where they belong.”[/b]
Another grin and she shrugged her shoulders a little dismissively.
“And if one or two of us happen to think alike, well, all the better,”[/b] she winked and giggled a bit maniacally. “If you ever get the urge…you should check it out. I’m sure you’d be eager to call that place your new home.”[/b]

Really it is just a place for wayward, homeless, down trodden mutants to go. It offers them a warm bed, good food, and chance to feel like there is one place where they belong.”
Oh how he loved being complimented. It was rare for him indeed, as he probably never had such a proper long conversation. Psych smiled as he learnt that there were others like him, against the normal people. Wouldn't hurt to have some new friends. He thought long after the woman told him about this new Sanctuary. He wouldn't mind going there, however he knew he'd start some trouble. You always start trouble.
>> “And if one or two of us happen to think alike, well, all the better. If you ever get the urge…you should check it out. I’m sure you’d be eager to call that place your new home.”
Psych began to believe this woman can read his mind, because she was saying specific things that made him want to go to this Sanctuary. He could probably make some friends and go kill some people, for a laugh. Riiiight, then go and conquer cities, right?
She could tell that she had peaked his interest. There was a look in his eyes, a hungry look that wanted to know more, to have more information. The red Amazon was only too pleased by this turn of events. She loved the idea of bringing more mutants to the Sanctuary. Though she had an inkling that there was more to that place than met the eye, she knew that gathering mutants there was probably her most important goal. They advertised help, health, and home for mutants; there was nothing wrong if a few of them shared some homicidal tendencies, was there?
A grin crept over her lips at the thought. She liked this guy, Psyche. Maybe one day he could join herself and her brothers, the Abyssi, on a little outing? The idea caused her to cackle lightly.
>> "Take me to this place."
“Of course,” she smirked. Arms crossed over her massive chest, she tilted her head towards the man. “But only if you say ‘please’,”
Mentally she shrugged. Just because he was murderous didn’t mean he couldn’t have manners.
Oh, the attitude. Psych was never the type to show his manners to people, regardless of reason. He looked at the cars near them, and with an instant, caused the mirrors on them all to shatter. He smirked slyly, "Don't push it."
He loved showing his powers, especially to others like him. This big woman, his new friend, was his first target he hoped to truly impress. He admired her powers, but he believed there's more to her than it meets the eye. But all in all, a valuable asset to befriend. You will not say please.
Jezebel had to smirk. The man was impressive with his powers but it was obvious that he was still someone to be cautious around. Jezebel respected her fellow mutants, especially when they were strong and shared her point of view. But there was not telling how far this comradery between herself and this new man will last. Anything could happen that could easily put her at odds with him.
Though she prided herself in her ability to get out of such situations, judging by the mutant’s power, she didn’t know how she would far. He deflected one of her best shots, but, it left him pretty exhausted. Still, she was not 100% comfortable with the idea of taking him on if she had to. Instead she would focus instead on staying on his good side and studying him. Maybe in doing so, if it every came to that situation, she would know how to take him out.
But for now, she was only too happy to share the Sanctuary with those who sought it out. With a wicked grin she nodded.
“Come on, then,”[/b] she muttered as she turned on her heel. Strolling with ease, she made her way back towards the Sanctuary, not looking back to see if the man followed her or not. It was up to him how far he went. She was just fine with leading the way.
