“But, what if their opinions are just…” Kaitlyn grasped for a good word to use, and settled on “…wrong?”
Maybe that wasn’t the best word, but she couldn’t think of a better one.
“…Like if somebody thought mutants should all be dead or slaves or in jail, or that we should change math so two and two is five. I mean, the X-Men go around trying to change people’s minds all the time.”
Not that they were good role models or anything.

...You've heard stories about me? Don't listen to them! It's safe to sit next to me, really!

The girl had conviction backing up her beliefs. It was an admirable quality, but it came with a stubbornness. "Well, there's subjectively wrong and objectively wrong. If someone has an opinion you think is wrong, just walk away. If they're saying two and two is five, walk away and feel bad for 'em."
Nate checked the door to make sure no one was nearby in the hallway. "But if they're saying something about killing or enslaving people? Pop 'em in the jaw."
Nate paused and took a drink from the water bottle on his desk. "Yeah, if anyone asks, I didn't tell you that." To be fair, Kaitlyn was already displaying the tendency to start trouble.
