The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Streak continued to fly at a more south-easterly path. He followed the coastline for the most part but eventually he flew out over the ocean. Streak flew on past the different areas of the sea, passing reefs, oil rigs, and even buzzed the calm ocean surface. While he was flying close to the surface of the water he dragged his feet in the water. His unique appearance triggered the curiosity of some of the animals. A school of dolphins decided to play with him. They were fast, that's true, but they were jumping and clicking at him, doing tricks and one even bumped into him. The one that bumped into him knocked him off balance and Streak went tumbling head over heals into the water, like he'd just fallen off his water skis. The silver man ended up drinking a lot of salt water, which made him dry heave a few times until he got it all out.
"Oh, man I hate the taste of salt water. Yuckk!" Streak said to the dolphins where were still around him. He was treading water the entire time Some of the dolphins were curious about the silver creature thy just saw skimming above the water at high speeds. They bumped against him and made clicking sounds all around him. He couldn't help but pet the dolphins and talk to them like they were people. "Ya know falling at high speeds hurts." Streak held one of the dolphins head in his hands. Their skin was actually kind of soft. They really were intelligent. Another dolphin came up to him and caught him under the arm so that he didn't have to tread water. They took turns supporting him like he was an injured dolphin. Streak could only laugh at they what they were treating him. "I guess y'all think I'm one of you because of the color of my skin, huh? The dolphins followed with the appropriate clicks and whistles. Streak obviously didn't understand anything they were saying so he just smiled and laughed at them.
"Well, I've got to go. You're welcome to come along if y'all like." He said to them. He removed his arms from around the dolphins and concentrated on flying. Streak shot straight up out of the water and high into the air. Once he was sure he was in control he slew back down to where the dolphins were still waiting. He began flying in the direction from which he was headed. Once again Streak was skimming the water, only this time he was playing with the dolphins. They were jumping and having fun all around him. He decided to join in. Streak started flying through the water and every once in a while he would fly out of the water like he was jumping with the dolphins. Streak could have passed for a deformed dolphin but he was enjoying the entire time they were playing. After a while the dolphins dropped back and he guessed it was because they were tired. He continued to fly along the water passing deep sea fishing boats, Coast Guard boats on patrol and more oil rigs that were drilling.

After dancing for hours, and drinking for hours, Streak looked at the clock. It was 2 o'clock. People started to thin out on the dance floor. People were starting to leave and the bartender started to make the last call for the night. Shawn ordered Samantha and Melissa a couple shots of Jack and two more Martini's. He himself joined them in having shots and had a coke and rum. They just finished their drinks when the bartender said, "It's closing time. You need to leave." "Okay. Let's go gals. Shawn said to the bartender in reply. He looked back at the girls and said, "So. Why don't we go back to y'alls place. After having probably close to a dozen different drinks and the girls having easily as many, if not more since they had been there before him. The three of them stumbled out the door and started to walk down the road to the girls hotel room.
Streak had both arms around the girls. Once they reached the hotel they staggered through the automatic opening doors. Since they were so drunk they were laughing at pretty much everything, even if it wasn't funny. The receptionist behind the counter noticed the three and promptly dismissed them. Apparently it happened all the time. They went up to the girls room and after having more fun than they did dancing, they all went to sleep. Streak woke up the next day with the sun shining on his face through the window. The two girls were still sleeping on either side of him. He yawned deeply, rolled over and went back to sleep. The girls were still just as beautiful even now in the morning. After they wake up later that day they all went out for breakfast. They spent the day together and the night. In the morning Streak left before they woke up. He told them that he had a flight to catch early the next day, so neither of the girls were surprised when he they woke up and he wasn't there. Streak did, however, leave the clothes behind. As he continued his trip south.

Streak was making his way through the crowd and noticed two particularly attractive girls. They happened to be dancing with each other and didn't have any guys around them. One had long blond hair and was wearing a low cut blue spaghetti strap top, with a very short skirt that barely covered enough of her lower body. The other girl had shorter brown curly hair, a shirt that stopped just below her swim suit, and cut off short blue jeans. Shawn caught the blonds attention and she waved him over. The two girls moved a little to make room for him to join in their group.
Shawn hadn't bothered to make a room reservation. He was here for a good time, and considering what he had happened with his family he needed to blow off some steam and forget about what had happened. He finally got to where the girls were dancing. They were a lot more attractive up close. He didn't plan on leaving the bar alone. He started dancing with the girls. They seemed pretty into him, but he wasn't sure because they could have just as easily been drunk. Streak started to get into the music with the girls helping him along the way. Pretty soon he was dancing as best he could. He never pretended to be that great a dancer but it always seemed to keep the girls attention. It definitely worked this time. The girls he was dancing with 'helped' him feel the beat better. After a while of dancing he said to the blond girl in front of him, "You want a drink?" She smelled good. her perfume wasn't to over powering and he could also smell a little alcohol on her breath when she turned her head and responded to him, "Sure let's go. She took his hand as she led him towards the bar. The brunette followed and Shawn grabbed her hand as well so that they made a little train up to the bartender. "I'll take a Bud Light, and for the girls." He said looking at them both in turn."We'll have two martini's, one with extra olives.
So they drink martini's that's interesting. Streak thought as he took a sip of his beer. "So. What's y'alls names? He asked the girls. Shawn took another sip of his beer. "I'm Samantha." The blond said to him. He turned to the the brunette as she piped up, "My names Melissa." He shook both their hands in turn and said "Names Shawn." The blond was more attractive than the brunette but he wasn't going to judge. They made small chat while they drank. He learned that the girls were here together and had a room just down the street maybe a block or so from the bar. He told them that he had just gotten here only a few hours ago, which couldn't be any farther from the truth. He also told them that he hadn't made checked into his room yet. While that was true it was also also a lie because he knew full well that he didn't have a reservation. After finishing their drinks they made their way back out to the dance floor.

(sounds like fun. meaning both.)
As the cops taunted the two mutants more and more people started to join in the commotion. Streak looked at Iesland as they exchanged glances. "This can't be good." Streak said looking at the gathering mob. The cops went from waiting for back up to arrest the two mutants to protecting the mutants from the crowds. Streak braced himself for another fight. It was not something he wanted, especially he had just finished a hard fight.
One of the cops was down. The mob rushed in. "Craaaappp. Where's SWAT when you need them, huh?" Streak said as the mob rushed at them like water breaking through a dam. All Streak could do was stand there as the mob members rushed at the mutants. Streak started defending himself against the first onslaught of humans that reached him. It was chaos. He couldn't seem to fight off the people fast enough. They were like cockroaches. If you beat one two more appeared. Streak was swinging and blocking like a mad man. He managed to get a bat away from a few of them and even used it against some of them. This fight was going crazy, and he didn't know if there was anything that could stop the mob from their frenzy.

Streak was so angry at his parents that he didn't sleep well that night. Once the sun rose, so did Streak. He found that he was just a few miles south of the border and in the desert. The dew was starting to settle on the ground and the plant life that was there. He'd done his research before leaving the mansion and knew all the places he wanted to go to. He headed east towards the Gulf of Mexico. Streak knew that it would lead him to resorts and other vacation spots that he could hit. It was looking to be a great time to visit Mexico.
Streak was a little behind his made up schedule, but not by much. He ended up in the city of Ciudad Victoria. Once he figured out where he was he continued at a more south eastern direction. His destination was farther south and right on the edge of the ocean. The silver man didn't reach the city of Tampico until nightfall. Ironically that was the exact time he wanted to be there. He went into a clothing store and stole some clothes. These clothes would be the only ones he would need while spending his time in Mexico. Streak walked through the middle of the town looking for the bars. Living so close to Mexico he was familiar with the rumors that of the drinking age. He no sooner walked into a bar, that didn't ask for an ID, than did he find gorgeous women all over the place.
Some were obviously well under the legal drinking age and would have never been let into a bar in the U.S., but Streak wasn't here to judge. He was here to have fun..He walked up to the bar and ordered a drink. "I'll take a beer. How about a bud Light?" Streak asked the bartender. "We have that." the bartender said in in broken English. The music was playing a little loud but he didn't mind. He took the beer and looked around the room. There were definitely a lot more women than men in the place. That was a good thing. That meant there were enough girls to go around. After downing his beer he move out on to the dance floor. Moving through the room was no easy task. The dance floor was packed with enough people who were mostly focused on the people they were dancing with.

James stood up and came over to Shawn. "Wow, lil' bro. You've certainly grown up. Streak had to pry his mother off of him. She had started to cry from happiness. James walked around Streak sizing him up and taking not of his appearance. Everyone seemed accepting. Everyone that is except his father who had disappeared. Shawn was smiling and genuinely happy being around his family for the first time in almost two decades. His mom started to bombard him with questions fast er than Shawn could understand them. "Shawn, did...did you...ya know. Go to the camps ten years ago? Shawn's mom asked him hesitantly. Streak's eyes seemed to hollow out. His voice was dark and boding. "Ya. I did. And it's f***ked me up since getting out. That's where all these scars came from." He pointed to the scars on his face, arm, and back. His family recoiled at the sight of his scars. "Let's not talk about that. It's not pleasant memories." "We understand. We really missed you. Why didn't you come back sooner?" "I'm not back. I'm just here to see how y'all are doing and y'all seem to be doin' great without me." Just then his father walked back in the room. "I thought I told you not to come back here." He said bringing his hunting shotgun out in front of him and pointing it at Shawn's face. "Wait. Wait. Shawn's not a mutant anymore. Look at him. Are you?" Shawn's mom looked at Streak to confirm her statement but of course Streak was not going to.
"Yes I am. Do you think. That I would go through all this..." he was getting angry. He pointed at his scars again, only thins time with a silver hand, as the silver was creeping back over Streaks body. Streak was in complete control over his powers but he wasn't going to let them hurt any more than they already had. He continued as if nothing was happening, when in actuality he was getting covered by his powers, "and then become a lousy human again? No no no no." He scoffed a little. "I am proud of what I am. I am Silver Streak. And as Silver Streak I have learned that I can do anything. I can beat anyone. I am more powerful than you could have ever imagined that little boy, whom you threw out of your house all those years ago." Streak was furious now. If he controlled fire he was sure his eyes would be burning. He continued his rant, "I show up here at your house. You were wrong, Mike. This is not my house. My house is in New York. Where other mutants respect me. Where even humans respect me, because they know what I can do. But don't worry y'all don't need to fear me. No. No no no no no no no no no no. Don't fear me. Know that I am better than all of you. I come here looking for, not acceptance, not a 'welcome back Shawn make yourself at home.' No I knew better than that. I knew yo y'all wouldn't accept me back. I knew you wouldn't want me here. You may put on a happy face pretending you're happy I'm here. At least he's not lying to me.
He indicated to his dad who was holding the gun to him. "Shawn that's enough. Honey put the gun down. Shawn we are glad you came here." She wasn't sure what to say. Streak started to walk away back to the door to leave. "I can see now that this was a huge mistake.""Hey don't you turn your back on your mother." Streak rounded on his dad "Oh right like you've never turned your back on anyone. Like oh, I don't know, ME! His dad cocked the gun as Shawn started to turn around again to leave. Streak quickly created a knife, spun around, and threw it right into the wall over his dad's shoulder. Everyone was stunned. Even his father couldn't believe what had happened. "Good luck getting that out. Oh, and the next time I show up I'll remove the knife and hopefully you'll be more open to having a mutant as a son." Streak said over his shoulder. That was the last time he would ever show up there. Or so he hoped. Streak took off heading south. He was hoping to get as far away from them as he could. He settled down somewhere in Mexico for the night.

"Mike! Who is it? His mom yelled out from the kitchen. They walked through the house. Things hadn't changed much. His parents still had pictures of Shawn around the house, only there were more pictures of his brothers and other family events they were at. Streak paused looking at the pictures. He smiled sadly, picking up a picture, his brother said walking over to him, "Hey don't worry about that. Mom and dad thought about you the entire time we were on those trips or on those at a family reunion, they were bombarded with question about where you were." Footsteps could be heard coming down the hallway towards where they were standing. Streak put the picture he was holding down where he got it from and started walking down the hallway with his brother. Mike led the way so that he could introduce Shawn to his family.
"Mom? Can you go sit back down I'll be right there." "Okay, but who's at the door?" His mom asked Mike as she turned back around to sit down. Mike and Streak continued to walk down the hallway. His mom still hadn't seen Shawn yet.He was getting nervous every step closer he took. Mike appeared in the dinning room and announced Shawn like he was a king or prince from a different country. Shawn stood just out of everyone's view. "Ladies and gentlemen, Madam's et Monsieur's. I would like to introduce someone who has been missing for quite some time. Someone who not only was shunned from the family but was thrown out. The prodigal son has returned. I give you Shawn Quincy. Shawn walked around the corner into their view and just like Mike's first reaction when he saw Shawn their jaws dropped. A few falling pieces of silverware could be heard hitting the plates. They all seemed to regain themselves at about the same time. His mother stood up and rushed at him, embracing him in a hug. His father stood up and walked out of the room. He had made it very clear that he didn't want Shawn back in their lives ever.
It took two days for Streak to get into Mexico. While he was heading through America towards Mexico he stopped in Texas to see how his family was doing. He even stopped by the house and saw that his parents were home. His brothers were also home at the time. "I wonder what they would do if I showed up at their door step." He said aloud. He was standing near the entrance of his parents driveway there was no one around and his family couldn't see him from the house. "Well, I might as well give it a try." As he said this he began walking down the drive toward his parents house. He reached the door and they were still eating their food. Streak had already finished eating his meal of moose meat managed to find some fruit to eat.
He paused at the door. He slowly raised his hand to knock on the solid oak door. Streak raised his hand directly in front of his face to knock on the door. He saw silver and remembered the reason he was thrown out of his house. In truth Streak had forgotten he looked like this, since he'd been like this for such a long time on his trip. He knocked hard on the door and waited for one of them to answer. He retracted the silver so that he was Shawn again. It took a few minutes before anyone answered the door. His oldest brother answered the door. He was shocked to say the least. His jaw dropped visibly and he stood there unable to say anything for a minute. Shawn and Mike started at each other until he regained from the shock of seeing his younger brother. It had been almost twenty years since he'd seen Shawn and Shawn was all grown up and had scars to prove it.
"H..Hi...Um, ha. Hi. Haven't seen you in a while." Mike said to Shawn. He was about to get his parents when Shawn said, "Wait. Don't get the parents. C...Can I come in?" This question sounded so awkward to him but it had to be asked. This question snapped Mike out of his trance. "Ya. Come on in man. This is your house to." "Or at least it was. Years ago." Streak said a little somberly. He was still a little resentful towards his parents kicking him out of the house when he was so young. "Relax man. They'll all e happy to see you. By the way. Glad to have you back." "I'm not back. I just thought I'd stop by." As Shawn said this last part a voice rang out through the house.

"This is ridiculous. Look why don't y'all just let us go with a warning for whatever it is that you think we did, and we'll be better next time." Streak said to the cops. He looked at Iesland and saw the way he was acting. He could only agree with him. This was getting tiresome and annoying to say the least. He stood there waiting for the cops to respond.
"We're here because we received a call from a store owner saying that you two were terrorizing his store." One of the cops said to them. "Would this store owner happen to run a karate dojo?" Streak asked keen on letting them know their side of the story. Before they could answer Streak had started talking and explaining what actually happened in the dojo. Off in the distance he heard more sirens. Streak turned to Iesland and said so that the police couldn't hear him, "That's probably SWAT coming down the street now."
(I can't think of anything really to put. I've always wondered for spore, do you have to pay like you do with WOW?)

Streak slept soundly through the night. He hadn't had a nights sleep interrupted since he had the run in with the ex-guard. Things were looking up according to Streak's mental status. He still had dreams of years before but it wasn't about the camps. These dreams he could deal with since it wasn't traumatizing, just heartbreaking. he woke up in pretty much the same way as he did the day before. The fire was dead, and the wind was blowing slightly. He ate more of the meat and left the cave carrying the rest with him. He continued to head west, this time a little slower because of the meat he was carrying. He'd managed to make a make-shift sack to carry all the cooked meat with. It worked considerably well. After many hours of traveling he settled down for some lunch. Since he already had the meat with him, all he needed to do was to find some fruit or berries to balance out the food. He moved through the forest floor searching high and low for some fruit that he could eat.
After searching for quite some time he found some berries. They seemed like the right kind that he could eat. There were plenty of teeth marks and bite marks covering different parts of the bush. "Well, this means that animals are eating it and its safe for me to eat." He said taking a leaf in his hand and rubbed it between his fingers. He didn't care if there were animals around and he scared them off by talking aloud. He had all the meat he would need for some time. He picked a handful of berries and returned to where he had left the meat. Streak enjoyed the moose meat and berries that he had found. Once he was finished eating he gathered his belongings, what remained of the meat which was still quite a bit, and left the spot.
Streak flew just above the trees so that he could see where he was headed. He needed some reference points to be able to know where he was and where he was headed. Streak eventually found a road and followed that at a more north west direction than a west direction. He eventually saw signs for "Anchorage 115KM". That meant that he was still in Canada. Pretty soon the signs were saying distances in miles. That only meant that he was back in the U.S. It took him hours to find a nice place to stay and moved through the city. He was enjoying his time spent sleeping outdoors so he was inclined to find a cozy place to sleep in the forests that lined the cities outskirts.
Streak was sleeping soundly when he was woken up by lights. These lights weren't from cars, trucks, or anything man made. They were something completely natural to the earth and very rarely seen by many people who did not live in Alaska or the frozen northern lands of Canada. It was the aurora borealis. Streak laid on the ground, covered in snow so that only his head was showing. He was amazed by the beauty of it. It was definitely a sight to behold. He continued to watch the sight until it faded away and left nothing but the stars.

Streak formed a sword out of the silver and prepared to strike. He moved into position as quietly as possible. Streak was just off to the side of the moose so that it couldn't see him. He started walking out of the cover of the brush and towards the moose when he stepped on a hidden twig. The twig snapped under his foot and he froze. The moose heard the twig snap. It lifted its head and looked in Streak's direction. Luckily the moose didn't see him and went back to grazing. Streak decided to rush the moose and hope to surprise it.
He stood up and made a dash at the moose. Suddenly the silver man appeared out of seemingly no where. The moose saw him coming as soon as Streak came out of the brush. It looked at him and blinked. It wasn't a normal blink however. When the animal blinked Streak was thrown into the air. The moose followed Streak's movements and threw him against a tree. Streak was winded and laid there for a minute catching his breath. He slowly got up and moved in again to attack. The moose once again easily threw him into the air. It then threw him out into the middle of the open snow covered field and closer to the rest of the herd. All the moose in the herd knew he was there now and weren't going to make things easy on him.
Once he was back on the ground he thought, I need to distract them so that I can get one of them. He kept his sword out in case he got close enough to one of the animals he could use it on. Streak started throwing knives at the moose in seemingly random order. As he did this he moved closer to the one he was hoping to kill. All the moose were busy deflecting the knives he was throwing at them. The knives weren't big enough, or aimed at the right spots, to kill any of them. If it did hit one of the animals all it would do is hurt it or wound it. Streak charged the moose he was hoping to get when he started this whole ordeal. Streak was running at full speed by now and throwing knives as fast as he could, and in as many directions and at as many of the other moose as he could. His plan was working. They were to busy defending themselves that they weren't bothering with Streak running straight toward them.
Streak brought the sword above his head as he continued to run towards the moose. He brought the sword down and it struck the animals head. The moose dropped like a sack of rocks to the ground, dead. The other moose realized what happened and ran away to leave their comrade to be fed upon by Streak and any other animals that passed by the carcass. Streak then preceded to field dress the moose just like he did with the caribou a few days prior. Once he was done field dressing the animal he left the remains to be picked at by whatever animals happened to come along. He carried the heavy pile of meat away from the spot and found some wood to cook the meat with. Streak ended up flying a for a little while carrying the meat. Eventually he found a place to cook the meat and prepared it for travel. The work took mast of the afternoon, considering killing the moose took most of the morning. Once it was all prepared he headed out his area and went on his way.
The sun had started to set, so once again he looked for a place to sleep for the night. He was a little disappointed at the progress he made that day but decided it was better not to dwell on it because he knew that sort of thing could happen when you had to hunt and kill your food. He then found another cave and was lucky enough that it was empty. He moved into the place and set up his camp. He ate dinner and went to sleep. He was exhausted from the hunt and from getting thrown around by the moose.

Streak walked up to Neena and listened to her directions. The directions were a little hard to follow since Neena's eye's were closed. He looked at Nika who seemed to know what was going on and followed her gaze as best he could in the direction of where the mutant was hidden. He ignored Neena as she called someone. He didn't want his gaze to wander at all. Streak slowly scanned the area but didn't see anyone.
Suddenly all the lights on the campus came on. He shielded his eyes when the lights came on. He was blinded only for a second. Streaks eye's quickly adjusted to the light and he saw who they were looking for. The mutant was a man that was covered in a gray cloak. The mutant took off running away from the three of them. Streak was so shocked that a man appeared out of no where. Nika started the chase after the ma. Streak son followed Nika's lead, and caught up to her. He moved off to her side and went after the guy at a different angle. He was hoping that Nika and himself would be able to corner the man in the light.

The fire had burned all night long. The sun lightly danced inside the walls of the cave trying to get through the tree foliage. The sun lightly touched the silver mans face like a lovers kiss in the morning. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at the fire that he had set the night before. The fire had bunt all night and was now a pile of smoldering ashes with a few coals still remaining. He looked around and saw the meat remaining meat from the caribou from the night before. It was the last of it what he had and would soon have to find more food to eat on his trip.
After eating his fill of the meat, which happened to be he last of the meat, he left the cave and continued on his way. The problem he had with hunting was that it took up most of the day. You either spent most of the day looking for the food, or you spend the time cooking it. He didn't mind but he there was always that little voice in the hunters head that brought up the right the sensible. "You may not be able to find any food today. You may have to go to bed hungry. And the next day may not be much better food wise." He had to keep the voice in his head as quiet as possible. It wasn't an easy task especially when he spotted more animal tracks in the snow.
He flew high over head. the forest and the open fields of snow below him. He flew faster this time, following the tracks in the snow. These tracks seemed different. He wasn't sure how they were different, but he was sure that he could handle whatever it was. Streak flew for at least half an hour in the direction the tracks were heading. It didn't take him long to find the herd. It was a herd of moose. Streak landed away from the herd so he could plan his attack on the herd. Through stories he'd heard in New York, and a little eves dropping, he had learned that the Haywire virus had given the moose the ability of telepathy or telekinesis, whatever he heard it was a little jumbled and perhaps misunderstood. One moose wandered a little farther away from the herd and over towards Streak. He held his breath thinking the moose knew he was there. It didn't, and started to graze.
Before it started grazing he was able to look into its eyes. The moose's eyes looked different than the caribou's eyes. Aside from the fact that they were a different species. They looked brighter than the normal dull look of a wild animals. They looked smarter. He decided it was time to attack. Streak was going to go after the moose that was closest to him and he prepared the attack. He would need something a bit bigger than a knife.

The hunt was on. Streak had walked for hours in one direction looking for the animals that belonged to the hoof prints. After starting to get discouraged by thinking that the trail was days old and he wasn't going to find them. Suddenly Streak reached the end of the forest. He froze. He was completely exposed and would loose the element of surprise on any animals that might have been around. He quickly hid back behind the last part of the forest and saw what he was hoping for. The caribou picked their head up and looked around. They'd heard Streak moving around and were on the alert. This was not how he wanted it to go.
His hunger was starting to get the best of him and he was thinking of rushing out there and charging the animals. He waited and waited until the caribou had fallen back into their droll of grazing. Streak snuck around the edge of the forest towards the back of the herd. Once he was in a good spot, a little farther back than the middle of the herd but not all the way in the rear. He was knew that he needed to keep a few of the animals in the herd behind him so that if he couldn't get one that he wanted he could always fall back and get another one. Streak created a knife and moved towards the caribou at a fast pace.
The caribou saw that there was an attacker. They started to run. The animals were fast but Streak was able to catch up to them once he started flying. He flew towards them at high speeds. They all started to run in one direction like they all thought as one. He spotted one out of the herd the way a wolf pack takes down the weakest member in the herd. He wasn't interested in the weakest member or the strongest he found one that was just as healthy as most. it was not different than any of the others.
It was an easy kill. Streak landed on top of the caribou that he was going to kill like he was riding a horse. in fact it didn't feel to much from riding a horse. He brought the knife, in his hand, down through the caribou's neck. It sliced cleanly through and the caribou slumped to the ground. He had severed the animals spinal cord so it was paralyzed. He quickly killed the animal so that it didn't suffer any more. Once the animal was dead and the rest of the caribou had left he field dressed the caribou and started a fire. Starting the fire was a lot harder than he thought it. Once he had the fire hot enough he created a spit for the meat and started to roast it. It took a while but eventually he had all the meat cooked and was eating it. He carried it along and feasted on it when he was hungry and when it was was close to dark. Once night had fallen he found a cave and made a fire at the entrance of it. The fire kept Streak warm and he slept fairly comfortably.

Streak woke up early the next day for no apparent reason other than his body said he'd rested enough. It was one of the few times that he'd actually slept through the night. He looked out the window and saw that it was a crisp clean day. The day seemed fresh new, like the world had started over again. The air was crisp and cool. The sky was as clear as possible and painted with reds, oranges, deep purples, and any other colors that made it seem perfect. He stretched out and headed back to the other side of the country to enjoy the peace and serenity of the wild. Streak felt a little like Christopher McCandless.
As soon as he had woken up completely he left the inn room he had commandeered. The wall rippled as Streak passed through it easily. He flew along back the way he had come the day before. This time, however, Streak stayed closer to the ground. He spent more time enjoying the scenery and the changes from big city to suburb to farms and finally to the wild. There were lots more farms than Streak had expected there to be, but he flew past them anyways. He seemed to be in a hurry to get to the wild. Like it was calling to him, beckoning like a siren and he could do nothing but heed its call.
After hours of flying straight he started to run out of fields, farms, and herds, and saw more high trees, and mountains. He landed in the middle of the forest in the undergrowth and snow. He paused and looked around the area he had landed in. It was closed in and almost completely over grown. However, there was an opening that seemed fresh and large enough for moose to travel through. He was getting hungry, having not eaten since early that morning. He hadn't trailed animals since he was younger and was hunting. Even though he had done this type of hunting with a high powered rifle and he had also never done this alone.
Streak moved through the forest with ease and stealth. Slowly but surely he moved through the bushes and trees. He was looking for tracks of a certain kind. He did eventually found some tracks that looked good. They were deep tracks in the fresh snow. Streak followed the tracks until more joined the first set. They were hoof prints. He couldn't tell if they were moose prints or a caribou. At least that's what he thought. He's had no formal study of these animals but either way he knew that he could hunt and kill it and eat it.
