The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

“Yes! Finally.” he said as he lifted one of the stacks of money. He frowned slightly when it shot ink all over his hands. “What sorcery?” was this Kraken ink? If so he knew he’d be looking at dyed hands for some time. He frowned and wipe it on his pants and then went to gathering more and placing it in a bag.
“Aye, that is correct.” he said without much thought feeding one of the bags he was holding on to with money. “Sadly not everything is between good and evil as much as I’d like it to be.” he said sighing, “I cannot disappoint my new master. He said we need money so here I am. My word is my bond and I gave my word I’d help him so here I am.”
He looked over his shoulder seeing the flashing lights and the empty lobby and then the blonde again. “Shouldn’t you be running as well woman?” he didn’t have a name so that was how he would address her.
“Something interesting about textbooks they leave out the real deeds the less heroic ones.” like killing evil kings and robbing them to pay the people. Hercules wasn’t a stranger to stealing for a cause. Just stealing from a ‘new- era’ bank like this one. Hercules couldn’t handle seeing his master cry again.
The wheels creaked. Hercules stood at once spilling his new favorite a flavored carbonated beverage. The drink spilled and the demi-god ignored it for a moment. “Do you need help Willam?” his master rolled his eyes. “I told you I can handle it. I got to learn how to do this on my own right? You’re not gonna always be here.” Hercules averted his gaze regretting sharing the information.
Most of his former masters had premature deaths they would have had years if it wasn’t the power he required. “I’m just gonna go to bed, it’s late. I got school in the morning and you got a busy day staying out of trouble tomorrow. No robbing banks and no stealing books!” “Apologies mas- William. I know now not to repeat what I see in the movies.” the giant gave a thumbs up to the young teenager.
The wheels squeaked again. Hercules already made note to ‘fix’ the squeak. WD-40 was a marvelous invention. Second only to the Ducting tape. Hercules was learning much from binging the home improvement shows on public access.
“Thanks.... for the books... they weren’t what I was looking for but I learned more than I thought I would when you first showed me....” Hercules’s eyes watered and he gave a thumbs up it was the first time his master complimented him since the summon.
“As I told you! When you first summoned me William, I will earn my stay!” his Hawaiian’s shirt’s top button broke free when he moved. “I will fix it tonight!” he said spotting the place where the button bounced off the wall.
“Right... well... you should probably find something to do to keep you out of trouble when I’m at school...” the wheels squeaked as Will rolled to the hallway. “I don’t want you showing to my school again unplanned my teachers were asking too many questions and I don’t want to lose the housing arrangement. I had to pull a lot of strings to get this place. I can’t go back home....” Hercules nodded his head and smiled. “I will work that nine to five!” Hercules said as he fist pumped glad for another mission.
“You need to stop listening to my moms music. She’ll be upset if you ruin them... just be careful.” Hercules legs came to attention. A result of years of commands from his father, from kings and generals to his Masters “Yes!” “I told you to stop doing that. You’re supposed to be my uncle. Uncles don’t' do that.”[/color] Hercules relaxed, “You’re too kind.”
The wheels squeaked off and Hercules went to cleaning his mess and finding his button glad his youngest master ever was happy with his deeds. What a time to be alive!
“Oh! A hotel? Better than the motel or the Holiday Inn!” he said recalling the lyrics to a song he heard recently. All of which in his opinion were better than stables which he used to sleep in often when he was trying to prove himself to his father. Full of bugs and angry animals. Hercules took up a lot of space and was impossible to move when he was sleeping.
The demi-god nodded his to the rhythm of the numbers repeated back to him. He repeated it a few times quickly to recite it to memory. “Excellent!” he said as he gave a thumbs up and a big grin to the phone. He looked up slightly to the “Exit sign” and ‘hid’ the phone by placing it on top of it. Most people weren’t as tall as Hercules he figured it was hidden enough.
“Take care Young Oli! May you get your promotion and our paths meet again! I am once again humbled by the generosity of you mortals.” he picked up his books and walked out as someone was shouting behind him. Clearly they couldn’t be talking to him. Everyone knew who Hercules was.
The demi-god laughed loudly and even stomped his foot if he wasn’t holding the phone or the books and Oli was in a mortal form Hercules would have slapped him on the back instead he just got louder with his voice, “Yes! That is the attitude I like to see! Ha ha!” Hercules robust laugh echoed throughout the library. While his arms were puny, it still didn’t stop him from showing off. Hercules liked this one. Funny and helpful. Mortals were great.
Hercules stopped at the entrance of the library and set the books down on a nearby counter making note of where they were and how many there were. His master would be most pleased for he wasn’t expecting any. His master would be most pleased. “Please, just call me Hercules. No need for a mister.” he would have accepted being called uncle as well. Oli had earned it even if it wasn’t his name.
“Is this not your home? I can just come here for more assistance right?” Hercules asked looking around. It wasn’t uncommon for the scholars of his time to live in the libraries. They always ended up there anyways. “A phone....” he didn’t have one but knew his master’s number now. It was common to have numbers so people could call you. He smiled warmly and nodded his head.
“While I don’t have a phone I know my Nephew does!” he mentally patted himself on the back for nailing that one. While he normally hated working with numbers it was fairly easy to memorize them to a tune. Hercules hummed and belted out some numbers making up his Master’s phone number. Hercules then waited for the numbers in response. Trying to commit them to memory.
“It is.” he agreed, everything about the Demi-god was perfect. It took years to refine himself to that point though and it was nice to see him appreciated.
“They are!” he agreed more glad she had enough sense to at least look up from her paperwork despite the way she just requested he not hit the table. Hercules felt like he was getting nowhere with the woman or in the bank. Why did Mortals choose to be here? Hercules didn't know but was starting to get frustrated with the situation.
“I do not. I’m not supposed to call him while he is at school.” Hercules said frowning and folding his arms. He wasn’t even supposed to go to his school. Just pick him up and drop him off to make it looked like he had a ‘guardian’. It seemed his Master failed to realize he summoned the Greatest Guardian In History!
Hercules decided that it wasn’t the woman’s fault. She was just doing her job and well, her job was starting to irritate Hercules which was easy to read after he stopped flexing and unfolded his arms. With a heavy eyeroll he exclaimed, “Enough of this.” his tattoos glowed as he crouched and jumped landing near the giant round swinging door. Luckily it was open there was just a some bars in the way.
“Let my actions and deeds be the trail the money workers need! For I Hercules Son of Zeus have been here!” his tattoos continued to glow as he grabbed the bars and bent them outward then pulled them from the walls bring concreate and the anchors that held them in place. He tossed it aside letting a loud clang be heard through out the bank. Some people used this as an excuse to make a break for the door. Hercules ignored them. He spotted the ‘Fat Stacks’.
The hero’s eyebrows raised and he puffed out his chest, “Oli! It’s the smaller deeds that effect us most in life. Never forget that!” Hercules said feeling like Oli needed a lecture. Big deeds were more noticeable sure, the smaller ones were the ones that needed the most praise in life. It encouraged more good deeds and well, helping people was what Hercules was all about. That and trying the food called Pizza. Everyone in the movies had talked about it and he was really looking forward to it.
“There is no burden too great, no weight too heavy for someone as mighty as I!” his shirt tightened as he flexed his muscles. The mortals often required a show to set them at ease. “The shackles on me are nothing more than a curse. An obstacle to overcome!” he flexed more though with the way he was holding Oli, there was a good chance Oli wouldn’t see the show.
“They seem fine to me!” he said checking them out and walking back over to the main desk where the clerk was frantically looking for their phone. Hercules, of course was oblivious to it. Instead he walked right past them still holding the phone outstretched still talking loudly, “Thank you again for all of your help! You mortals continue to impress me with your kindness! I’m glad we met today young Oli!”
“Hercules is just fine ma’am.” he said holding up a hand when she addressed him with a more formal title. Normally he’d allow it but he was kind of in a hurry because the ‘coppers’ should be arriving soon.
The demi-god looked at the writing admiring the way his name looked under her penmanship silently wondering how long it would take for his handwriting to look like hers. The giant chuckled in response when she laughed at her joke. He was sure given time he would have gotten it. Time was something he normally had more than enough of, sadly for her and her paperwork it would remained unfinished.
“Idetification?” he asked then started to flex his brows, “Do you doubt that I Hercules am a son of Zeus?” a vein appeared on his forehead and he slammed the desk she was writing on with his hands taking care not to crush her hands or the paper she was writing on.
“No one questions my birthright! Not Hera, not you!” he shouted flexing again revealing the tattoos on his chest and arms showing off a few of the ‘trials’ that were visible. “Gaze upon my ‘identification’” he stated posing.

“To the Science Section!” Hercules shouted repeating what Oli said, there was nothing wrong with what Oli said just how he said it. There wasn’t enough emphasis or excitement. Oli was helping him find books for his master! A great challenge one that thankfully had no danger to anyone in attendance. A few people in the library replied with a loud “Shhhhhh”. Something that caused Hercules’s head to dart around. They didn’t have Hydra’s or Basilisk’s in this day and age right?
Under Oli’s careful guidance and direction they walked alongside the rows of shelving all the books around him. It was impressive so much knowledge was in a place like this open to the public. Usually you had to be a student to get this kind of information. Thankfully Hercules wasn’t and didn’t. He couldn’t do school again. “Most excellent!” he said picking up the book and adding it to his collection. For some it be a struggle but for a Demi-god such as he, it was nothing just another chance to show off his strength.
Hercules stopped moving when Oli spoke and he stared into the screen to listen of his story and his limited freedoms. Hercules's body tensed and his tattoos started to glow under his ‘Life is a Beach’ shirt and his expression changed. “I too understand the shackles of ‘limited freedom’.” he looked around again and wondered if Oli’s masters were around and he whispered.
“Proving one’s loyalty is important but you must think about yourself as well otherwise you’ll be servant the rest of your life.” in Hercules’s case it was lifetimes. “I hope you do get your.... promotion soon Oli. If not I’m willing to help free you for helping me. You showed me a kindness today and I won’t forget it.” his glowing tattoos started to fade as he looked back to the books in his arm.
“What sort of promotion are you looking at? Will you get your freedoms back?” Hercules asked eyeing the books in his hand. Then looking back to the screen.

‘Thank you’? Hercules blinked apparently not happy with her response to him saving her life. Usually people were far more grateful. Mortals... so wishy washy on their emotions. Taking a step back away from her he continued to study the crystal in the light marveling at the ingenuity it had to create something like this. His smile widened. What a time to be alive!
She’d be happier without guns. He would too. He was here for the money and didn’t want to get confused when he started to save people. That happened often. Or it used to it hadn’t happened yet and his Master didn’t chastise him for it so this was a new Era for Hercules hopefully his best yet! “If it’s easier I can go destroy the guns then you can help me get all the “Dinero” he said struggling to recall the other words for money from the movies.
Hercules stopped looking into the crystal and looked over to the guards already walking towards them. His muscles tightening against his shirt as he flexed. “Count yourselves lucky I’m already on a mission otherwise I’d give you two a good lecture about weapon safety.” he said tugging at his shirt causing it to rip and reveal a tapestry of tattoos.
“Honestly, I was just summoned to this era and I know not to fire near a crowd of innocents!” His tattoos across his body started to glow as he held out a hand near them. “You’ll get your guns back at the end of the heist.” he said confidently before pocketing the guns that were offered to him. It was a smart call, he towered over the two mortals and they didn’t even have the safeties on.
“Now then!” he looked back to the blonde, “I’m Hercules! Son of Zeus!” he said proudly posing again. His muscles might have been flexing. A child pointed at him and shouted, “I’ve seen your movie!” Hercules responded in kind and struck another pose and then waved to the child. “Now.... the money.

“Isn’t it!” Hercules said his pecs flexing under his shirt in response. The hero had met several in his life time but all paled in comparison to him. He was the one that gave the name power after all.
When he was addressed as Uncle Hercules he gave a big heartly laugh at the name. Even his nieces and nephews most of them demi-gods didn’t address him this way with such respect. This child trapped in a screen was great! Maybe he’d just keep him on his person. Most mortals had a device such as this. If he was to blend in as one of them maybe he needed one as well. He’d ask to keep him later now they were on a mission.
Hercules blushed and laughed when he was called kind, flattery will get the kid everywhere with the demi-god he loved to be complimented. He worked hard for them usually and it was nice to see that people understood that. “He is! To summon me from... vacation! Yes vacation! To summon me from vacation after the accident it was a most impressive feat. I love vacation!” he said laughing loudly trying to cover up his near mess up.
The demi-god frowned and hefted the phone up and around studying it. The pulling it closer, Oli dismissed it but he heard the nervous laughter. “If someone is keeping you trapped I can free you.” Hercules said shifting his eyes around now looking to see if Oli’s captors were watching him. A few people looked away when they spotted Hercules glaring at them suspiciously.
“Please do young Oli!” he said with purpose still shifting his eyes around while now carrying a large stack of books in his other non-outstretched hand.

The demi-god blinked as she spoke and immediately his tone became less of a serious one responding in kind to the warmth of the smile that was given to him. “Hello!” Hercules took a step forward towards the woman and smiled pitting his hands on his hips and taking a heroic pose one he had done for centuries. He was after all one of the greatest Heroes ever so he had the pose down.
“That I am Miss!” he said with confidence. “I’m actually here to take money, not deposit but I’ve learned it’s easier to start with a joke.” he said chuckling to himself. Most of the movies started with a line similar to the ‘deposit’ one he made. “and no... he doesn’t have an account. Which is why I’m here to take the money.” he said turning his head to follow the blonde who almost seemed to struggle to where she was going. Hopefully she wasn’t injured from his entrance. There were always casualties with mortals. Hercules however did his best not to be the one that caused them. He’s there to guide them and protect them. Not injure them.
“Let me be clear I don’t want to harm anyone.” he his tattoos lighting up as the sound of two gunshots were fired. One bullet hit his back just right and dropped the other ricocheted off his shoulder and hit a chandelier overhead causing it to break free from the ceiling. It shook and then fell. Hercules looked and ran to where it was about to fall, above the helpful woman.
“Please refrain from using guns! They don’t work on a god such as I!” he yelled as the light fixture dropped from the ceiling on his head and arms as he towered over the blonde smiling all the while. The weight of the light fixture caused his tattoos to glow before it rolled off his back a few of the small crystals scattered about. “Are you alright Miss?” Hercules looked away to the two guards and shook his head.
“You’re weapons aren’t needed for I will not harm anyone here so long as you give me the money!” he said sternly his face turning slightly red. He was getting angry. Hercules’s demand was clear and he didn’t want to have to be a hero when he was trying to acquire money for his master. He looked back to the blonde. “Now you were helping me?” he asked as he took his massive hand and gently picked a crystal out of the blondes hair and studied it.

“Luckily for you I have had spent lifetimes controlling my strength, never fear little one!” just not his anger. Hercules looked to the phone not offering up anymore information than that. He forgot he wasn’t supposed to brag about being old. He was supposed to be just an ‘Uncle’ now.
“Olive...” his stomach growled loudly. He could go for some olives right now. However he was told they were harder to come by now that he was in the Americas. He’d have to go to a ‘super market’. Something he didn’t think he had time to investigate fully right now. “I love olives! It will be an easy name to remember!” he exclaimed, “Oli it is.” he stated.
“You may call me.... Hercules.” he said giving one of his names and choosing not to give a list of titles. His master would have frowned upon that. It would draw too much attention to himself. Which seemed odd because he was so good at commanding it anyways. Hercules returned the bow which seemed odd for someone as large as him. He brought the phone down during the bow and resumed holding the device the way he was before.
Hercules followed the directions and grabbed the books taking a minute to study the writing on it. He was quick at assimilating to the times he was summoned but when it came to reading it took him a bit longer especially since most of his information was now watching documentaries and binging shows on the larger television screens. “Med-evil...” he looked at the book and frowned. How could something be medium evil? He kept his questions to himself lifting the books and stacking them in his one hand.
Amid the direction Hercules didn’t think about the question, “He’s a practitioner and a talented one from I can tell.” he walked one isle over and studied the lettering till he found what he was looking for. “How did you get trapped in the screens Oli?” he asked wondering if they too had been cursed to servitude and low key wondering if he can free the helpful face.

Everyone looked scared. Which was good, that meant according to the plots of the movie they’d be willing to part with the currency and he could go back to master and make him proud to have summoned him. Hercules looked around to see if anyone was reaching for their bags to offer the money to him. Green cotton or gold, those were the ones he wanted. The ones that had worth.
The friendly giant looked down to the glass wall and shook his head feeling guilty about breaking it. Alas they wouldn’t give him the money just because he wanted it. He had to show off to get it. A few tattoos glowed on one of his arms as he lifted the large desk he put his foot on seconds before making sure to prove that he wasn’t worth fighting. Surely there would be some guards to protect the bank from a heist like this one.
“There is no cause for panic. I’m am here for one thing and one thing only. Money! You’re lives mean nothing to me so you may keep them! For I have no need to harm anyone!” he boasted puffing out his chest almost reveling in showing off his strength. No one moved except for a blonde woman. Hercules hefted the desk behind him effortlessly making sure not to crush anyone.
“You there!” he pointed at her. “Woman! Maybe you can help! I’m looking here for money. You seem to be the only one aware of what is happening.” Hercules said looking around everyone still cowering behind things. “Maybe you can point me in the right direction.” he said hoping she wasn’t the type to play games. Normally Hercules would love to play games, however he knew from the movies he only had so much time before the ‘coppers’ arrived.

His beauty distracted him for a moment till he realized he was staring at a blank screen. Hercules smile faded now confused with his reflection, did he do something wrong? “Ah! The life of those talented in magic might be good as well!” he said lifting the boxed television and looked under it then around it. “Where did you go?”
>>> "There we go! This will be far easier to carry around than the librarians computer!"
Hercules hefted the computer to the side and followed to where the next voice was. The computer screen dropped to the ground with a crash not hitting anyone during the fall. Hercules was curious now and discovered what looked like a phone from one of the movies he watched recently. “Easier how?” he reached down and lifted the device. “This seems more fragile and smaller.” he said to himself ignoring the clerk who was yelling about the computer screen while investigating the damage having no idea Hercules just stole their phone.
“Excellent! Ancient people and Tribes is a great place to start as long as they discuss Magic I’m sure my Mas-Nephew will be pleased!” Hercules patted himself on the back with his free hand. Hercules studied the tiny screen and squinted. “Books on magic!” he nodded. Holding an outstretched hand wondering if it made looking through the screen any easier. To the public it would look like there was a big guy trying to take a selfie.
“Where do we start.... and what do I call you?” the demi god asked twirling around so the phone could direct him.

The short tempered giant shifted his gaze to the daunting rows and rows of books. For him to find them on his own, it would be a task. He was capable of anything but he had someone to pick up from school in... he looked to the nearest clock in eight hours. Herc scoffed he took on the Hydra in half that time.
>>>> "Oh! Well that depends on if you're looking for fiction or nonfiction!"
Turning his attention back to the clerk who just spoke, “Well I’m sure my mas- nephew would like whatever the library has to offer!” he gave an enthused thumbs up, feeling accomplished he didn’t call his Master by his title. He was told people would frown upon him calling a child his master. Why? Because his master said so and that was fine enough for him for now. William seemed like an upstanding young boy.
>>>> "And if you're looking for a more advanced read, or something more appropriate for an early reader!"
Hercules blinked at the person then looked around confused from where the voice was coming from. Were they pulling a trick on him by throwing their voice? Hermes used that trick often and his uncle did something similar when he was invisible. Hercules leaned over the counter, “William is an advanced reader from what I’m told. Nothing is too difficult for him. Any books on spells or charms. In particular the ones about healing if it won’t be too much trouble.” his voice didn’t get any quieter.
“A hand would be excellent!” Herc said looking to the clerk then only chancing the face on the screen by mistake. “Wait.... are you the one who was talking all along? Thank the gods I thought I was dealing with another trickster!” the person on the screen smiled at him and Herc returned the smile and leaned closer to it studying it.
Unfortunately the boxed television didn’t have legs and it seemed there would be a lot of walking. In this maze of books. Suddenly he was reminded of the labyrinth. “Very well! I too shall give you a hand for your assistance!” Herc said leaning over and grabbing the monitor and pulling it from the desk freeing it from the weak tether that bound it to the desk. Hefting it up and looking into the screen he asked, ”Now tell me! Where shall we start!”
