The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Was Ash afraid of this man? Yes. Ash was afraid of this man. It honestly didn't take much to make Ash afraid. The sense that satisfaction would come from beating their face in was evident on this walking peice of sh$%, and it made the devil's face reflect that fear.
The small woman chimed in, and Ash nodded. It was all in good fun, right? No need to make it violent! Ash-Lee scrambled back a bit as the man stepped forward and the woman stepped in to get in the way. He shoved her out of the way, and Ash's hands moved to brace their pretty features from impending impact.
It never came, and the little devil's eyes widened as they watched the little scrapper fling herself at the man, sending him into the one way mirror against the wall. Quickly, they shifted form into a bulky masculine one once more as they climbed to their feet. "Looks like you're her bitch right now, bigguy."
Ash crossed their arms over their chest and tried to look imposing.
There it was... The shell, breaking. That fragile masculinity melting away to show a scared little boy pretending to be a man.
A ruefull smile came to Ash's face just as his got ugly. "You're nobody. You're a sick man who likes to control people, and I eat bitches like you for breakfast." The devil's sharp words turned into a purr. "Or... I show them something about themselves they never wanted to admit, and I set them free... Admit it... You like to be small, you're just afraid not to be big-"
He suddenly shoved the red skinned babe/beefcake, who was interrupted mid sentence, stumbling back a step before shifting into a smaller form and bouncing to onto their bottom. The frail, feminine form looked up at him as they shook off their surprise at the lashing out. "Ow..."
This was the moment they lived for. The excitement in Juniper's eyes. That display of likes running up their masculine form as eyes explored them. What a rush. Oh, they could reach paradise from this moment alone if it wouldn't ruin the moment. And what a moment it was, as they resisted a terrifying grin in place of an innocent little smile as their eyes drifted to the tall man, who was absolutely freaking out. "Oh, but baby, you said you were down to join us, didn't you?" They stepped toward him as he fiddled with his pants, reaching past to place a hand on the wall behind him.
"Joking? Me? Why would I joke? Oh! I know... You aren't into men, are you? That's okay. I'm not one... Well... Not always. Here. How about this?" The form shifted once more, hair lengthening and turning a pinkish, their chest blossomed, bare as it was, and face shifted to display more feminine features.
Still, they were just as tall, ripped and muscular as they had been. A flexible, and yet beefy leg lifted up to cover the other side of the wall, leaving him little room to maneuver. "You're girlfriend's right...Don't be rude, now... We're only just starting, and you wanted... oh, so badly to play with both of us at once, right?" A nailed hand would move up to trace his cheek as they looked into his eyes, long, pointed tail swishing behind them before it started to trail up his leg.
"Unless... you want out... I'm not scaring you, am I? I know... you can use the safe word if you want to!" They leaned in, allowing their breath to caress his skin. "Well... are you going to call me daddy?"
Oh Shit. That was... The most... Pathetic, edgelord class response they had ever heard in their life. Wait, wasn't that from that craptatstic book series? Had he copied his response from a teenage fanfic?! Oh. They were going to crush this man in ways that were in no way pleasurable... for him. Their eyes landed upon Juniper once more, and eyebrows waggled once at her reaction to the statement of her dislikes.
He led them uptairs. Ash-lee would spin gently from his attempts to grapple them and follow at a slow pace, movements methodical and relaxed; a hunter stalking small prey. They noted the room. The locks. The Keycard. Creepy. Super, super creepy. They would need the keycard before they continued. No one liked being locked in a room with a creep like this. That was simple enough. As he was taking off his shirt they moved up and planted a wet one on him, reaching into his pocket and extracting the keycard in a fluid motion and tucking it away before retreating and walking back toward the door. They started to unbutton their black shirt, granting relief to buttons that had been taxed to their limits holding that chest. "Ohhh, I like that... Let's make the safeword... Daddy."
The feminine form paused, and looked to Juniper. "Oh, you aren't into it, are you? That's okay... How about I slip into something you might... appreciate a little more." There was a light giggle that turned into a chuckle as the female form suddenly grew and shifted into an absolutely ripped, tall, muscular masculine form, bearing some features she seemed to appreciate. Ash-lee looked at her with a wry smile as they started to take off their shirt. "Better?"
Oh, as if it could be... any easier. At times it felt like people were clay to Ash-Lee, to be molded at their convenience. A sly smile was given as the woman assessed them, and decided they liked what they saw. The boyfriend, however, predictably decided that since he wasn't involved, it was a no.
That's what they were looking for. As if seeing him for the first time, the big titty goth devil looked him up and down, and poked her cheek in thought for a long moment before nodding. "Wellll... If you want to join in on the two of us... I suppose I wouldn't mind. Are you comfortable with things getting a little kinky?" Key words were important. This man didn't just like Kinky. He liked to think of himself as... The epitome of Kinky. Oh, what a man! If england were the Edge he'd live on an Island and call himself king!
The way he looked at his girlfriend nearly garnered a sneer, but it was hidden with a smile. "She doesn't like it when you squeeze, lovey. Maybe don't." It was instinct. They hoped it didn't ruin the mood, but when they saw someone else making someone not like the situation they were in, they couldn't help but speak up.
Hook. Bait. Sinker. For the tiny fish, of course. While it may not seem like it, Ash liked just about anything that someone could consider a good time. That included fishing. Many knew that the best way to catch a big fish... was with a smaller one. And boy, was he small.
He didn't just like Ash when he saw them. He was knocked out of the park. They paid it little mind. Without paying attention they could feel the naughty things he'd like to do to them. Shame, Ash liked those things, too. Only when it was with someone interesting, though. And the interesting one here was not the one hitting on them.
"Thank you, I try." The sweet little voice chimed in, tucking some hair behind an ear as they maintained eye contact with Juniper. He asked if they'd heard of LustWulf. "Nope. Never. Hey, so does your boyfriend mind if we f$%^?" It was an easy answer. He had, after all, been thinking about how badly he wanted to swim in the sea with both of them at once.
Shame, he wouldn't be getting that. But getting to watch was close enough, right? Slimy men like that took what they could get. A shy smile was gifted, along with a bashful head tilt. Their tail swooshed about gently from side to side behind them.
You know what people liked... A lot? Like... Almost universally. Ash-Lee knew. Ash-Lee made it their business to know. Business was booming, and thus, Ash Lee was in a goth dance club, being a big titty goth.
Was this the place that would most appreciate such a thing? Actually, no, but it was up there. To be fair, though, as it was mentioned, almost everyone liked a good big titty goth. Oh yeah, They were getting laid tonight. By Whom? Someone here. Everyone here? Maybe. It was an entertaining thought. Based on the likes they felt flying about, it was also a possibility.
The Dance was frenetic, the lights were flashing, and the beat was bumping as Ash bumped about their body, bouncing in all of the right places to make eyes linger, or sneak peaks when it was thought they weren't paying attention. Oh lordy, it felt good to be wanted so badly. There was a lul inbetween the songs the DJ blended together, and the Deep, red skinned feminine form looked about with mischevious black eyes to gage the room. It was about time to approach a gawker or two, make this the best night of their life.
An odd sensation fell over them, though... A glance into one of the other rooms. Someone... wasn't having fun. Oh, no no no, they couldn't have that, could they?
A pointed tail flicked about for a moment as they stepped to a wall for a moment to watch. She was good looking... She didn't like the music. She didn't like to dance. She... didn't like the man who was hanging on her touching her... She didn't like her boyfriend.
Well... This was interesting. One look at her boyfriend told them... So. So much. A devilish grin formed to match the horns.
Moments later, a short, rather well endowed feminine form with a bob of dark, dark red hair, sharp eyes on a rounded face sort of... materialized from the crowd. There, Ash-Lee stood, looking at the two of them intently, one arm behind her back, hand clasped around the opposite elbow. With feigned nerves, they bit their bottom lip softly with sharp fangs, and looked up at Xander, before turning to Juniper, and saying. "Uhm... Hi... Is... That your boyfriend?"
Ash jumped as a voice chimed in, saying they were lost. It was followed by a sinking feeling in their chest. He liked... this. He liked the hunt. Didn't like that they were what they were. There were other likes floating about. Sick ones. Ash clung even tighter to Danny. They didn't feel safer with him, to be honest. Maybe throw him in the way of any attacks, and escape when they had a chance?
The boyish man spoke up, and doll-like eyes widened as they stared up at him. He sounded brave. It was sort of stupid, though. What was he going to do against an obvious mutant with some sort of strange power? A strange power and a knife. Their heart skipped a beat. Oh god. They were going to die? They were so beautiful, and some slimy green man was going to kill them in the night while clinging to some loser!
F@#$!
The green man stepped forward, and Ash clung even tighter. Something happened. He swung with the knife?! No, there was a knife, and then there wasn't. There was a moment of great enjoyment. A feeling of being about to kill, replaced by a sudden dismay and then silence as a bag smacked into the green man's head and he went flying, landing with a thud.
Ashes heart skipped a beat as Danny dragged her off. They were still looking back and forth between the potato sacked green man and the lead singer one night stand they were still clinging to as they were dragged off at a quick clip. What the hell? had... just...
He'd saved them. He... Oh god. That was so @#$^ing hot! As soon as they were safely around the next corner, Ash ambushed him with a shower of kisses "Oh my god, you stupid, silly man you saved my life!" They weren't those sensual lip locks you saw in the movies, either, but a barrage of smoosh faced smooches of deep, deep appreciation. "We need to find a dark corner or something. Holy @$^&. This is going to be the best night of your life." S@#$, did he look a lot prettier all of a sudden?
The big red devil looked to the woman as she walked out. "Ah, you look beautiful!" Placing the phone in their inside pocket, they took her arm and stared toward their destination. When Ash saw it on the app they'd wondered why it hadn't come to the top of their head in an instant! The locally famous dueling coffee shops were nearby. One was an old french mah and pah that had been around since the dawn of time, the other a more trendy hang out that was more popular with the hipster sort of crowd. They were right across the street from each other, and people argued endlessly over which was better.
That's right, they were headed toward 'Les Amoureux' and 'The Spot'. The masculine figure replied with a grin. "Oh, I know a hole in the wall..." Ash could tell... That adorable little pique of excitement when coffee was brought up. She was an avid coffee drinker, wasn't she? You know... Ash had the distinct impression that she was an avid participator in anything she chose to do.
That was good. So was Ash.
"You like coffee. Then you know of the dueling coffee shops, I would guess?" It was a local thing, but anyone who had been here a while would have heard of them in passing a little. They often put out sandwich boards low key insulting each other while encouraging patronage at their own respective shops. The subtle dispute was Picturegram famous because of it.
"Which of the two do you prefer?" You had to ask first, so that you could judge the other person for their answer. It was almost a rule.
He didn't know the area very well. That was good! It made things more interesting. Ash had walked most of the streets of New York a thousand times by now. They knew where they would most likely end up, though following the little green man did sometimes surprise even them.
The cold started to take hold a little more, and Ash shivered a little bit, opting to turn the elbow grab into a closer arm hold for some warmth. The chill became all but forgotten, however, when the sense of a like popped into their mind.
Someone liked finding something.... They were further off, so it was hard to get a sense. Ash glanced about quickly, catching something out of the corner of their eye. THe source. Hard to see. They liked... they liked... Finding two helpess fools alone.
Ash squeezed the arm closer, suddenly gripped by a little bit of panic. "W-We should go." Wait, the green man had taken them straight... there wasn't a place to go into for another block.
The succulent devil tried to hurry them. They weren't a fighter. They liked to be safe. If they could both remain calm and hurry, everything would be fine. Another like came in. They liked that their moment was only seconds away. Ash jumped as a voice reached out to them.
The first greeting the bare abbed man replied with was rather smooth; it sang playboy, which Ash didn't mind, but it honestly seemed a bit out of place. However, when the shell broke, and they nerded out a bit over the cosplay, Ash smiled a bit. Adorable.
"I had some help applying it, but I made it all myself!" That was a lie, but it was the one they were told to tell, as entries into the contest had to be self-made.
"Are you entering into the cosplay competition, then? Seen any that look really good?" It was great work, but this costume would be a really hard one to beat. Ash had a good feeling about being in the lead. A giant space marine marched past, drawing their attention for a moment, but their eyes stopped on the arcade cabinet... wait, was it in the aution area?
Ohhh... Maybe the competition wasn't necessary after all! They remembered they were talking to someone. "I'm Reena. And you are?"
He was well motivated, now. As he downed his beer, Ash toyed with their own drink, clinking the ice around in the glass before downing the rest of the double shot.
"It is." The beauty stood and took a look around the bar for a moment. Good riddance. All of the people here were just a little annoying. Having him to themselves would make planning the rest of the night easier. Where they going for a night of amusement, or just a ruckus party night?
The green man and Ash's will would decide.
He paid the tab. Good. They had money, mind you, but they simply didn't want to pay. After all, Ash was doing him a favor tonight by being around, and they would make it worth his while.
When he was done, the would hold out and elbow for an escort out of the dingey bar, and out into the cold night.

Puck
There was that beautiful moment. A mix of realization and lingering doubt. The fond look on Ash's face was genuine as they let that little knot of attraction and the fear of rejection rolled up into one. She agreed to go, and the smile on the masculine figure's face widened. "Excellent." It was this that they lived for; these little special interactions that they saved in their mental thief's vault... and then there was that awkward hesitation. Working out the details, the complications past the moment. It was all gold.
"Sure, I'll meet you out here. I have to change as well?" They'd come here to pick someone up, so they'd be foolish not to have brought something to change into as well. This was where sizing was a little more difficult often times, but Ash'd had a pretty good feeling about being in a more Masculine form tonight. They'd chosen well.
They pointed to the weights on the ground. "I can help clean up." They got to removing the clip at the end of one side of the weight... Soon, after a little bit of effort, the weights were put away, and locker rooms attended. Ash, or Vlad they were calling themselves, would be waiting out front in a crisp business casual getup that looked clean and somewhat pricey to a prying eye.
They were looking at their phone... Coffee shops within walking distance. It was nice to stretch the legs after leg day.
Joshua Berk wanted Tobias Finch's Mega Road Battler cabinet. He wanted a lot of what Mr.Finch had, to be fair. After having his collection named the... second best in the city, he was determined to make it the first. However, Mr.Finch knew Berk wanted his stuff, and, considering their longstanding feud, wasn't going to give him... 'didly squat', was the phrasing.
Enter, AshLee LeBlanc, acquiring of things people had that you wanted for hire. Mr.Berk was willing to pay, wait for it, 120,000 dollars for that cabinet. Ash could honestly care less for such things, but with that kind of money they could literally do... anything they wanted. for at least a week.
What? They had expensive tastes!
So, It was decided that Berk would get together his best team together to provide a cosplay for Ash, and then send them over to seduce him and the judges into picking them as the winner. It was foolproof, honestly. Especially after they saw what the team had thrown together. Hours of application and sitting in a chair, they finished the transformation upon the template of a decidedly feminine base. After, she looked exactly like the Princess of Swords from WarStar, the popular ColdStorm RTS.
It was a pretty flawless piece, and for the show itself they could attach the wings, which really threw it all together. Ash even managed to shape their horns to blend in with the hair.
Already, they were taking pictures with people left and right, and they'd only just walked in. This was going to be easy. Of course, they had to make their way in deeper to locate the judges and convince them that the other contestants weren't as worth selecting.
They also has a side mission with a 30k purse and promise for reimbursement on three different auction items. They would have to hit that one up first to get a try and snag some of those items. For now, though, it was time to check out the competition. It was best to work these things from all angles, after all, and if they could convince someone to sell them the cabinet if they won it instead, why not?
They took a picture with another excited nerd, licking the side of his face for a perfect photo op before bowing out and heading toward the option. A good costume caught their eye in the crowd. They didn't know what he was from, but wow... Talk about abs. Abs for days. Maybe they would abandon this deal and snag that for a ride home!
Now, now, Ash, 120k on the line. A whole week of what ever we want!
Yes, that would be a waste. "Hello there..." A velvet voice would reach out at the ripped Dante cosplayer as they passed. "I simply adore your costume. Did you make it yourself?"
Wait, did he not get what they were getting at? Night job? They didn't have a- What? The face locked in place with a smile, while behind it was was just... confused and alarmed.
This guy... Was a huge @#$%in nerd. Like, next level. Hilarious. They had to @#$^ with him, now.
His cheeks went as red as, well, their skin often was when hand met chest. Boy, if this was making him bashful the rest of the night was going to be a trip. There was a bit of a blink when he hammed it up something fierce making a joke about the little green man. Oh wow. Yup. Nerd.
They didn't laugh, but instead leaned back, grabbing their drink and taking a long sip. "It's a game in which you start at a bar, like this one. Have one drink." They formed their fingers into a little walking man, walking down the bartop and up to his arm as they talked. "You follow the little green men on the walk signs to the next bar." Up his arm they went. "And then, you rinse, and repeat. Again and again. Until you end up at a hotel."
There was that mischievous smile again. "Sound fun to you?"
