The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Syn listened to Iris as she yelled back at Kaz and herself. Her buttons sure are easy to push thought Syn. "I figured as much Iris. Don't worry my dear you'll be released soon enough. Then you won't have to worry your pretty little head about being stuck in a cell anymore. Though I can't say things will get better for you."
Syn looked to Kaz and motioned for him to follow her around the corner. She spoke quietly so that Nail and Iris couldn't hear. "I'm going to be sending her to Xaviers Mansion. She's served her purpose here and we don't need her anymore. Especially since she has not interest of joining us. So, I'll be sending her off shortly. Feel free to toy with Nail if you'd like."

Kaz sighed heavily at Iris' reaction and words. His smaller hand had been on the control panel of her cell, ready to let her out. "I'm truly sorry to hear that Iris." He lowered his hand and shook his head slightly. "Yell and complain all you want. What we're doing is for the betterment of all Mutants. You two, and the others, have played an intimate part in that. When things come to fruition, take pride you had a part in it."
He followed Syn around the corner, taking in her words. "I might, though I don't know how fun it would be." He said referring to Nail. "It's truly disappointing she refused the offer." Once again Kaz shook his head. "What will be the point in sending her there?" Kaz asked seriously curious.
Sighing, "We need to focus on our defenses here. Or to remove all trace of these two and the other captives from the building. Whatever we're to do, we need to do it now. The Xmen are coming, and soon." Kaz wasn't sure how he felt about that. He tried to warn them. But they seem too damn stubborn. He was itching for a fight though. "They know about Sanctuary already. So we need to worry about that as well, but it seems their main target is KP."
Nail was still shaking as Kaz and Syn left. His shoulders were physically heaving. He pulled his arm back, and slammed it intot he wall as hard as he could. Then again with his other fist, and again, and again.
The holes he made simply healed over, making his efforts seem just as useless as he felt. His anger gave way to helplessness, and his thorny armor slowely retreated back into his body. Once again he slid down the wall, trying as hard as he could to get a hold of himself.
"Iris, when you get out, don't forget ok? Tell them about this place. So they can't do this to other mutants..."

Adrenaline and fury drained out of Iris all at once, and she sat heavily on the floor. If they didn’t get out of here soon, she was going to lose it. She winced when Nail began pounding at the wall, cringing with every hit. Yet the cell remained undamaged. It wasn’t fair.
Iris buried her face in her arms for a brief moment, fighting the urge burst out crying.
"Iris, when you get out, don't forget ok? Tell them about this place. So they can't do this to other mutants..."
She looked up in alarm. Nail sounded as if he’d given up hope completely. Why would he think they both wouldn’t survive this? Or that she would leave without him if she got the chance? His tone was scaring her.
“Nail, don’t you dare give up yet!” She winced at her own tone; she hadn’t meant to snap at him, stressed or not. She bit her lip, then took a deep breath. In a slightly calmer voice she added, “You’re not getting rid of me that easily. Don’t forget, Mr. Positive, you still owe me a walk in the park.” She managed to smile at him.
Nail looked up at Iris with surprise. He stared at her for a few second, then smiled, and looked at his feet. He wasn't expecting to have his own positive thinking thrown back at him, but he understood her completely.
He looked back up again, to where their two captors had disappeared to.
"You're right Iris, I still owe you a walk..."
He lifted his arm weakly, looking it over, and taking note of the mutiple red bruises starting to form.
"Lets just hope that Kaz... thing... doesn't have any say in that..."
He looked Iris in the eyes, the same eyes that he hd seem change color three times already.
"I want you to let them know about that girl ok Iris? I don't want them to use her like that. It's not right. I want them to know that she's her... and how powerful and dangerous she is... Let them know that she's more important."

"If you keep saying 'you' instead of 'we', I'm going to come over there and kick your ass again myself," Iris retorted, raising one eyebrow and narrowing one eye in a mock threat.
But she nodded agreement. This girl, this 'Jack' was definitely dangerous, and needed help. Iris wondered if there was any help for such a mutant? For that matter, did she want help? Was she being used too, like Nail and Iris? Syn seemed fond of manipulating people, for sure. But just how much manipulation was used on Jack?
Iris let out a small groan and leaned back against the wall. On the positive side, she was exhausted enough to sleep now. Though she wasn't sure if it would be restful. Rest seemed to be a luxury lately....

Sighing slightly. "I'll leave what to do with Iris and the defense plans up to you." Speaking loud enough for both Nail and Iris to hear, "I'll deal with Nail myself."
Walking around the corner he looked at Iris. "We gave you a change. I'm truly sorry you declined." His tone was not angry or threatening in any way. It had a bit of...sadness? in it, maybe it was just disappointment. Turning to Nail's cell, a small hand went to the keypad and opened the cell. The other snapped out and slapped Nail across the face, causing crystal to form. "Say goodnight." The crystal encased Nail's head like a helmet. A large fist hit Nail square in the face, shoulder and part of his chest, which sent the man into the wall. If the sheer force didn't knock him out, the contrecoup would do it easily.
((OOC: Controlled Nail for the purpose of moving him. Left it open so to speak so he an RP his response to this and so Iris can respond.))

(OOC: The X-Men will be arriving here and the fight between them and The Order will begin. TRICITY will start this thread. Sentinel, if you want to do your side plot with Kaz and/or Abyss, that's fine. If you want to also attack The X-Men because of the Haywire experiments, that's fine too. Daria, you should control Haywire at some point later on in the fight to make matters worse for The X-Men.)
After everyone had arrived down in the garage, the team left in two vans, heading out toward King's Pharmaceuticals. Fade led the way as Tricity drove the first van, Dominic the second, through the streets and closer to their destination. Everyone began checking and re-checking their equipment as Daria handed out all they would need to keep in touch with each other during the mission. Tricity advised Fade to become invisible before getting there.
It wasn't long before they arrived at the massive facility. They all stepped out of the van, but it was very silent on outside. Cameras seemed to be everywhere. Tricity squinted through the massive iron gates and across the grounds. In the distance she could see people who seemed to be waiting for them to arrive. They were all casually on the steps of KP, nonchalantly chatting. 'Apparently they don't seemed to be worried in the least...' "Well, it appears they knew we were coming," she said to the team as they exited the van.
Tricity approached the gate first and waved her hand. The system audibly shut down and the doors swung open. Again, it didn't seem to phase the group on the stairs who finally took notice of them, though she was sure they had seen them pull up. "No one attack," Tricity said to her team who were close behind her. She wanted to talk to the person in charge with the hopes of ending this without mutations, punches, and kicks. They stopped some 25 feet away from the people on the stairs. "Is Dorian King here? Or perhaps his second?"

Kaz was sitting on the overhang above the steps, his legs hanging off casually as he watched the vans make their way to the property. He wasn't surprised in the least when the gates opened by themselves, or rather, because of Tricity.
As the woman stepped forward with the rest of the Xmen in tow, Kaz leaned over a bit. She spoke and asked for Dorian or the second in command, which would be Syn. Before Syn could jump up and open her mouth to say anything, Kaz pushed off the ledge with his arms and landed about 20ft from where Tricity stood. "Well, you didn't waste any time in coming here did you." He spoke with a smile on his face. "We all know why you're here. You really should do SOMETHING about your security, it's feeble and sad."
He kept his mind blank, he knew the guy standing behind Tricity was a telepath. He had already informed The Order about him, Tricity, Daria and her teleporting. Those three seemed to be the most dangerous. He didn't need anything being picked up from that man. As he settled into a relaxed position, "I have some questions for you Xmen. First: Who do you think you are? Who gave you the right to go around policing other Mutants? You're no better than bullies. You think you can go around telling mutants what they can and cannot do. Bite me! All you'll be remembered as are tyrants, trying to rule over mutants." His tone held no anger, it was quite flat as his thumbs were tucked into each pocket. "Don't give us any 'moral' lectures. All you'll accomplish in the long run, if you keep trying to police mutants, is create hate towards you, and eventually start a fight, no, a WAR. One that will cost many mutant and human lives in the crossfire."
He may have seemed to be BSing, but the words he spoke were true for him. Besides, he didn't care what he said, he was trying give Syn and the others time to think of what to do, to let them see how the Xmen would react.
It remained silent when Kaz finished his piece and Tricity glared at him in annoyance without a word. After a moment she turned her eyes away and looked passed him, toward the others on the stairs. She ignored Kaz completely. He meant nothing to her any longer. "Once again... Is Dorian King here or perhaps the second in charge of this place? I'd like a word is all."

"Well, I think you just confirmed what I said to be true." Kaz chuckled as she looked past him and spoke again. "Miss High and Mighty here. Gotta love that attitude."His voice loud enough to be heard from the steps. Looking over his shoulder a bit he yelled back towards the group, "Syn, you and her would get along great!"
Looking bad to Tricity. "Ya know, I'm not sure about Xavier, but I think you and Magnito would get along rather well." His face still held a smile. "Dorian isn't here. Besides, if he was here, he wouldn't waste his time with trash like you. Those who are so quick to judge and dismiss others because their ego is to big for them to see past it."
His smile brightened with a memory. "Hey Syn. I was suppose to say hello to the person the murdered your parents in cold blood, right? That was your sister Deathstar right?" Kaz used his speed to remove himself from in front of Tricity to stand directly behind Deathstar. "I'm surprised. You'll let trash like her be a Xmen, but you think so little of us and look down on what we're doing. Without even knowing what we're trying to accomplish. You truly are a pitiful bunch."
While in the van, Tricity advised Fade to turn invisible before their arrival. In agreement, Fade's body slowly dissolved and left nothing where she once was. When they finally arrived and exited the van, Fade became in stealth mode. Lowering herself to the ground in a squat, she grabbed onto the ground with her claws with both her hands and feet. Stretching out her body, she began to sort of scuttle, like a spider. Since she had so much practice climbing walls and ceilings like this, it didn't bother her at all to climb the floor, in fact, it was more comforting to know that the ground was not too far from under her.
Her current position kept the wind off of her. Although she had once entered the Sanctuary, she was unaware of what the inhabitants were capable of, as in their mutant powers, so she kept her low position to keep out of the range of those that smelled things. Knowing full-well that the fact that a few X-Men were approaching might keep the scent-mutants from counting or sensing another, but the possibility remained and Fade didn't like risks. While the pompous character came forth and got on Tricity's case, Fade rolled her invisible eyes but kept her position as Tricity asked again for their leader.
Fade knew that she wasn't the strongest X-Man. Tricity, Raph, Cassiel, Daria, and the others had her way beat as far as offensive techniques. However, Fade was the best at sneaking up on others. Due to her ability, she would have the advantage in a fight, unless the other had some sort of extra-sensory ability, in which case, oh no. Jenny kept her position and waited for this Dorian King of Scum.
When the erogant and narcissitic boy approached Deathstar with the intent of a mental slam, Fade scuttered to the side to keep and eye on him. Oh she wanted to just drop kick him in the chin, but she held her position and clenched her teeth. Then again, Deathstar was one tough character. She would get in a fight with anyone that was nice to her, so God have mercy on someone who is mean to her.
“I could see it, if you’d quit distracting me, airhead.”
Amp and Vibe leaned against the side of the building, like a pair of matching red-headed statues, complete with matching smirks and crossed arms. Vibe’s arm was sore, but out of the sling, and Amp’s foot was braced. Their ribs still hurt, but with the promise of fun today, both decided they could ignore the pain.
They ‘listened’ as Kaz lectured the Xmen, and their leader dutifully ignored him. Vibe snorted.
>Attitude much?<
While Vibe continued to listen, Amp scanned the crowd in front of them. There was a strange echo to their footsteps, almost like an extra set of footsteps somewhere. She didn’t pay much mind to it, passing it off to someone one’s mutation, like Zephyr’s had been. She spotted two in the crowd, and nudged her sister.
”Check it out. Kit Kat and Leash Law at twelve o’clock.” Vibe also saw the feline and canine features, and her smile widened ever so slightly.
After Kaz had left to tend to other things Syn returned to where some of the doctors and scientists were working. "It's ready Miss Syn." One of the doctors handed Syn an air powered injector. "Once you inject this into a mutant it'll have the same effect as if Jack were standing right next to them so I suggest you wait until the last moment to do it."
Syn took the air gun and listened to the doctor. "That's perfect. I know just which mutant to use it on first."
Heading back into the holding area Syn immediately began to use her pheremones to calm both Nail and Iris. She unlocked Iris' cell and motioned for the girl to come out. Once Iris was out of her cell Syn grabbed her by the arm and took her back to thge secret entrance where a black van was waiting. There were four guys in what looked like military combat gear. They took Iris into the van. Handing the airgun to one of the men Syn instructed him. "The second you arrive at Xaviers Mansion inject this into her, toss her out and leave quickly. Do not come straight back here though. Drive around for an hour first. The man nodded and they drove off.
************************
Syn had watched the vans pull up and the front gates open. She knew they weren't opened in the normal manner. Well, that's not very nice. The girl didn't move as the other group walked closer. The other Order members held their places as well but Syn knew they were ready to jump into action.
A woman stepped up from the X-Men and requested to speak with Dorian or the next in line. Syn paused for a moment to see what the woman would do if no one reponded but Kaz had to let his mouth utter the first volley. All Syn could do was roll her eyes but she remained silent for the moment.
Kaz spat out at Tricity and her group, but he didn't get much of a reaction out of the leader. However he was getting a reaction out of some of the X-men as they glared at him. It was at this point that Syn spotted her sister among the X-Men. This made a smile spread across her face as she decided to add some fuel to the fire.
Remaining on the steps Syn spoke out to Tricity. "I'm affraid Dorian King isn't here so you'll be speaking with me instead." She watched the reaction from the woman as she probably wasn't expecting a young girl to be in charge.
Syn pointd directly at Deathstar and smiled again. "Nice to see you again dear sister." She quickly changed her attention back to Tricity. "You might want to watch your back with that one. She can't be trusted. In fact she's the one who killed our parents. How can you have a murderer with you? Are you so short on applicants at your beloved mansion?"
