The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Rebecca wrapped around his arm, a futile gesture that suggested what she wanted, she would have done better to summon every bit of metal within her reach. It wasn’t her skin against his arm, but the soothing voice.
It might have been fine with her, it wasn’t fine with him however. Even so, he took a deep breath and released it. many of his nieces and Nephews referred to the gargoyle before him as Aunty. He would hate to be the one that explained her disappearance.
He hated the look in her eyes, the realization that she had been foolish and it held consequences, he hated that someone he considered a friend was now quaking before him. But then she had to go and say more than simply understood…she couldn’t have turned tail and run…had he truly expected her too? She had to go and apologize and render the apology inept. I apologize but I don’t mean it. His teeth clamped down, they wouldn’t grind against each other, He would destroy them by the end of the conversation. He wanted to answer every question. But he kept his mouth shut.
Yes, she mentioned it.
Yes, Pluto long ago through a car at his head to save an enemy.
How did Agnes doing any of that , Make Rebecca being with him wrong?
He stared as she went on, he would let her finish her piece. As she started to walk away he opened his mouth to retort. It was melting in his mouth as she walked away. He looked down to Rebecca. Looking into his eyes before he let loose a sigh.
He watched Rebecca but spoke to Gina.“ You say you want to help two friends not hurt each other, but we are the only bandages that do any good for each other. we might not be fixing everything or anything, but we are the closest thing we have to it. Outside looking in, our…dalliances my seem brief or chaotic, but I remind you it is from the out side looking in.” his finger went to Rebeccas chin, he might be about to make the biggest mistake he ever had.
‘You two, sound like you could use that friendship,More now than ever.”he looked to Rebecca, “ It wouldn’t be bad to have someone else in town. And you!” He turned back to Gina with a bit of spitfire. “I heard one of the Jones say that they came across a male that could change colors, while hunting, he was using bone weapons. I don’t know its him but it sounded a lot like him.”

Gina was clearly feeling the fear that came with being threatened by a towering red mountain, but she earned some respect for still being able to speak her honest thoughts. Unlike her previous rants toward Rebecca when she was protected by a tough exterior, it was clear feelings from deep within Gina were getting revealed. Something must have cracked in Gina, and she made one thing clear: no one made it into the Age of Sebastian unbroken.
Rebecca’s anger toward Agnes was too strong and self-sustaining, but for Gina, it was growing a bit more difficult to thoroughly hate her. Agnes was like her family, and she went through watching the same thing Rebecca had, and probably more. She did not know what Gina meant when talking about what Agnes had become, nor did she care to, but she sympathized with her.
Saturn was more thick-skinned (to excuse the pun,) and did not miss the chance to defend what they had. What they had was bizarre and perverse to most people, but they needed each other. Now that the need was out in the open, it left an uneasy feeling in Rebecca’s stomach, but it did not make it less true.
Then Saturn had to ruin everything by suggesting the two girls reconcile. How could she choose to depend on another person when she was already fidgety and nervous trusting one? Even if she wanted to trust Gina again, there was no way the gargoyle wanted Rebecca in her life.
The last thing Saturn added was the most important comment, and it made Rebecca’s eyes widen. That was Koga; there was no way it could be anyone else. Her eyes focused on Gina as she received what must have been the most important news she had received in years. She would track him down, and she would find her own way to be happy again.
The thought hurt her heart; she was happy for Gina, but it was hard to be reminded that happiness was for everyone else besides her. Gina was going to reunite with her old boyfriend, and Saturn was doing his best to help Rebecca plant roots in the Town, and all of it screamed “run away.”
Rebecca looked down, ashamed at her instincts, but followed them nonetheless. “Ah… think Ah hae tae get going.” She lifted herself off the ground, ignoring the pain of pulling on the screws, rods, and wires in her body. She floated high enough to be eye-to-eye with Saturn and kissed his lips. ”Ah’ll see you next time, sweetheart,” she promised, unsure whether she would decide to every come back at all anymore.
Rebecca lifted her metal pillars and turned away, but something kept her from leaving immediately. Without turning to look back at Gina, she commented, ”The Amazon’s have him right now… be careful.” She would not have Gina’s blood on her hands, so she would play her small role in the reunion, proving had slightly more for Gina than hate.
”Goodbye,” she muttered, floating toward the direction of the town limits.

Gina ducked her head and held her hand to her face—men were so stupid. He just…. didn’t… get it. In Saturns’ eyes, Rebecca could do no wrong. While they had the "dalliances" once a month, Rebecca was gone almost as soon as she came. It worked for them. And, even though Gina said she’d keep her nose out of it, it didn’t work for her. Gina didn’t know what their love was like because she saw it from the sidelines.
Men were damned stupid. You couldn’t tell them anything. He would have to fall, then learn from it.
And, as if to further prove this point, He made a proposition—in Saturns’ eyes, it sounded as if they needed each others’ friendship now more than ever.
Gina gave an audible groan. Hadn’t he just come out there, telling her to keep away from Rebecca after catching Gina giving her ex-friend the business? After all, Saturn said, it would be nice to have Rebecca about in-town. Riiiiight, Gina thought. The day Becca sticks around, I'll be nominated to lead the Amazons. And, as if the words that were leaving Saturns' mouth weren't unbelievable enough, seemingly out of the blue, he brought up a guy who sounded an awful lot like Koga.
Gina froze, luminous brown eyes cutting towards the massive man. Her brain hummed blankly for a few clicks. What was she supposed to believe, really? One second, Saturn was inches away from squashing her like a bug, hollering about how Gina just needed to back-off. Now he was proposing that they should all be friends, and telling Gina that Koga was actually alive, and seen by the freaking Joneses'. Part of her was elated at the idea, but the wiser part of the gargoyle didn't let herself get hopeful too quickly. It was the one scab that hadn't been picked at, the one wound that hadn't been doused in salt. Was Saturn really trying to lighten-up the situation, or was it all a lie? A sick and twisted joke to get back at the gargoyle for her cruelty?
Shock of all shocks, Rebecca declined the invitation, and chimed-in on Saturns' piece of information. It didn't help to quell her doubt. The gargoyle, again, said nothing. Her gaze followed Rebecca as she floated up onto her pillar and began to leave town. Just before she slipped out of sight, Gina closed her eyes. She pressed her hand to her eyes, tilting her head, and breathed slowly a few measures.
Nothing would change. And the gargoyle was powerless to change anything. When she lowered her hand, the threat of tears had left. The pinkness at the corner of her eyes was melted into the whites by the weak moonlight, and the deep brown gaze was turned black.
With Rebecca gone, Gina glanced towards Saturn, surveying his expression for a moment.
“I know I said I’d keep my nose out of it,” Gina said hesitantly. What she was about to utter might work in her favor, or it might be as stupid as Saturns' own suggestions. She was prepared to bolt and fly out of town, if it was the latter, “But if things ever get tough when Rebecca’s not here, and if you just want someone to listen to you—“
Gina cleared her throat awkwardly, her wings fluttering anxiously. This was just screaming all sorts of bad ideas, but Gina wasn't a glutton for punishment, “I’m a good listener. And if you don’t want to see my face, I know a few other people who will be and always are there for you. Besides your brothers, I mean.”
Gina smiled. Sometimes, talking to family just didn't do the trick. She adjusted her coat, shrugging her shoulders. Her tone bore no implications, only a meek and tentative offer. Even if he hated her, even if anyone in the town hated her, Gina would be there for them in whatever way possible. It was a thankless mission to take upon yourself, but it was Gina's new calling-- however powerless she was, she was too stubborn to take no for an answer.
She said nothing in regards to Koga, awash in doubt. Her heart had been yanked in too many different directions for Gina to let her get her hopes up. Her heart was numb with emotional exhaustion. She would handle everything later. For now, she would muster up an exhausted smile, dismiss herself, and retreat to her home, only to rise to face another day.
“Goodnight,” the gargoyle said briefly, “Rest well.”
She was still half-convinced that Saturn was going to look for the first opportunity to beat the snot out of her, so the gargoyle gave a faint bow, turned-tail, and departed casually, on-foot.
Saturn’s lips softly replied to her kiss in kind, he said nothing more than. “until then, love.” But his eyes said there damn well better be a next time. His hand raised to wave to her as she went, but she didn’t turn back around. His eyes locked on her until she disappeared into the day’s dawn.
With eyes still surveying her exit a sad rumble replied. “I won’t forgive you if I never see her again. “he smiled sadly. “ but then how will I know when to start being angry." he said wryly. The hole in his chest was empty once more, no sparks or pretend flames to fill it with.
“I appreciate that, and I might take you up on it someday, for now. if you find out anything that I can assist with on that news, I’m here. The amazons could make a good target for relieving stress.
His fists still clenched. He did his best to appear forgiving. “Don’t do anything reckless. We do need you around here.” He said it and he meant it, he just wished she didn’t take it quite so far.
She walked one way; he walked to the pieces of his door and collected them. He fashioned a heavy blanket over the opening and made way for his bed. He hadn’t slept a wink last night, taking the time to observe the sweet angel in his bed. He pulled her pillow close to his face and slept, too tired to regret the events of the morning. At least not just yet.
