The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Kitra was barely conscious as Zelek had realized she couldn't even use paper as bandages so he instead used copper patches to keep blood from leaving her wounds. She had shivered as the copper was cold but at least it gave her something to concentrate on. Passing out completely would probably mean not waking up.
Kitra vaguely noted that Zelek had impaled someone to retrieve a car to get them to Sanctuary. "That wasn't very nice Zelek," Kitra managed in a soft whisper. She had also noted with an odd detachment that he was being rather careful with her. Which was nice. He had to have sped quickly to Sanctuary or they had been that close as she felt the car screech to a halt merely minutes later.
Kitra felt herself lifted up and heard rather than saw the Golden doors open. Then she heard Lisa gasp. Great Lisa was still awake, didn't that woman ever sleep?! "Lisa let him get me to the Infirmary please." She had tried to say that loudly, however it made her start wheezing. "Don't kill him." Kitra barely managed to get that out as it was a rather hard effort to stay awake and talk.
Really truly she needed to be healed or get a transfusion. Everything was getting echoy and rather dark. Kitra tugged faintly on Zelek's shirt and managed to whisper, "Not doing so good." She couldn't tell what was going on but it sounded like Sanctuary's alarms had gone off.
Zelek Cackled. at the soft chiding on dying lips, he wondered if he would have gotten off so lightly if she had any strength to her.
The beat up black Cadillac had more cylinders than anything he had managed to drive in Europe, but then he didn't mind silly things like lanes or speed limits one way signs. no. He drove from point a to be with a single minded purpose. He left the car idling at the curb and imagine there was a thieves version of a valet survive at the sanctuary.
He spoke to a pair of young mean that were obviously mutants, "Its stolen, but its yours if you are interested. We are done with it." The two thugs grinned and moved quickly to the car taking stock quickly opening the trunk and looking over the electronics with in.
He stepped into the Lobby to find a Secretary looking quite alarmed at their entrance, but in their state, why wouldn't they?
Lisa looked to Kitra and then back to Zelek, he caught recognition in her eyes for the briefest of moments and then she went into a calm, a deadly calm, a I'm weaving a web or snake about to strike calm. She thought she knew who she was dealing with but to make absolutely sure. A purple haired mansion student turned Kabal minion and Hunter's child, gone rogue..."I am going to need you to sign in, obviously your hands are full, so if you would give me your name, I'll gladly take care of the rest."
He raised an eyebrow. and spoke softly "Zelek."
Then the woman politely said, "Take her to the infirmary." And spouted off the most direct route.
"Yes, Yes, I intend on ensuring you live, Ms. meal ticket."Zelek chuckled back to the dying woman in his arms as he walked her to the infirmary, his first act of kindness in years was to have a sour reward.
Lisa watched the cameras as the young white haired man made his way to the infirmary and picked up the phone to Notify Syn of who just walked in off the street. the secretary listened to the phone ring. If she didn't answer she would have to call her brother's to ensure he didn't get away.
Lisa’s desk number appeared on Syn’s phone so naturally the woman answered. She listened to Lisa’s brief description of who had entered Sanctuary as well as what was going on. The phone dropped to the floor as Syn hastily grabbed one of her knives and was out of her room in a flash.
A black and red streak flew through the hallways. Anyone in her way was knocked down or pushed out of the way without the slightest apology. Syn had been waiting for this moment, and here it was handed to her on a silver platter at her doorstep. The dark angel of vengeance would finally have the chance to unleash her full fury upon the one behind her kidnapping and torture.
The doors to the infirmary burst open as Syn quickly surveyed the area. She saw doctors and nurses tending to a female, and there stood the one Lisa had described...there was Zelek.
Syn’s blood felt like fire as her rage peaked. Without warning she bolted for the white haired man and tackled him to the ground. The only word she could find was “YOU!!!” The dark angel plunged her knife into the mans side aiming for his lung, but she was far from done as he blade found it’s mark repeatedly in various places around Zelek’s chest, stomach and finally his neck. Screaming in his face at the top of her lungs she got up and began kicking and stomping the bleeding man with her combat boots. She intended to put him through the pain she endured for those years all at once, and wouldn’t stop until he was left laying on the floor a beaten, broken mess.
Zelek sat Kitra down gently and waited for the medical staff to get ready to take care of each wound he let the copper pieces dissolve into thin air from the biggest wounds to the smallest. They were going to work quickly.
Everything was going so well until.
“YOU!!!”
A wild looking goth girl screamed in a tone that almost made him Jump, He would have remembered biting this one, he wouldn’t have been able to resist. And he doubted he would have let her survive it just for the fact, she was such luscious prey. He had only another split second to think that he must have hurt someone she loved.
Before she was tackling him to the ground in a fury. His hand went to push her away but he only survived to lift her up and give her more room to plunge a knife deep in his side.
The Medical staff moved Kitra’s stretcher away from the immediate area and didn’t dare intervene a moment more.
His eyes went wide as the tip of the blade pierced his side and slid home, the point of the blade striking home and meeting his lung, blood almost immediately chocking him with a pump full of what should have been air, pain , Pain, glorious pain! His vision blurred as she settled into a comfortable position and raised the blade up only to send it plummeting down on him once more.
Again and again and again. She was still giving him fresh wounds even as his lung was righting its self. He gasped for breath as the blade sank in and out of him. He was on fire anywhere she struck. Blood spilled from him like water from a strainer, His body involuntarily shook, yes his body recovered from wounds quickly, but lots of wounds in quick succession meant the pain lingered long enough that he couldn’t simply smile and bare through it. Hell, he couldn’t even breath through it.
She finally stopped stabbing him only to start stomping and kicking. he lay there without response, unconsciousness eluding him. His healing was becoming a prison he wouldn’t die, he couldn’t. She rained down agony on him with ease. If only he took the time to stop it before it started opposed to smiling at her like she didn’t have death in her eyes and a knife in her hand. His body kept him alive and aware through all of the aches, anguish and suffering.
The blood that encircled him was starting to make her position precariously slippery, Finally the last of the stab wounds healed and all he had to deal with was the bludgeoning damage of her angry boot. He didn’t show a sign of life just yet, he could savor the ache of her kicks and stomps, they were friendly compared to her blade wielding wraith. The bloody mess she made of him didn’t reenter his body, his body set to producing more. He was suddenly very glad to notice that her drive was slowing, the deadly wounds were healed.
His eyes snapped to her wild green iris’s. “ Have we met?” he half spoke half groaned. He would ready himself for the knife in particular, he might very well let her keep kicking him, if it helped to settle the issue at hand.

Kaitlyn had gone thirty-five hours without sleep.
Was this healthy? Absolutely not, especially for a girl her age, said pediatrician Dr. Scott Fera, who had spent over ten minutes trying to convince the youngest Orderling that she was doing something very silly. According to his 'expert opinion,' staying awake forever by drinking outrageous amounts of coffee was a monumentally stupid idea.
She didn't see it that way. Yes, the coffee tasted terrible, and yes, she felt terrible, but doing this was infinitely better than the alternative. That is, sleeping. Sleeping meant dreaming, and dreaming tended to mean that awful recurring dream about her father. About thirty-five hours ago, having just finished waking up in her bed in a cold sweat for the fifth time in a row, she'd decided that enough was enough. No more sleep. She would stay awake, and she would feel awful the entire time, and the coffee would keep tasting awful the entire time no matter how much sugar and cream she added, but that was all okay.
It was okay, because it meant never having to see that man again. Not even in her dreams.
The girl watched with dazed indifference as a seriously bloodied-up man carried a seriously bloodied-up young woman into the infirmary. A set of nurses and doctors quickly began to attend to the couple. She stared on, oblivious to the man in the blue scrubs sitting right next to
"Kaitlyn. You didn't answer my question."
The girl's dazed stare turned back to Dr. Fera. He was a very large man, who in many ways reminded one of a bear: his broad arms and shoulders, his massive hands, his girth, his dark-brown fur, his bearlike snout. When the tiny girl didn't show any signs that she was about to answer his question, he repeated it: "Why don't you want to sleep?"
She took another sip of coffee as she considered the best answer she could give. Any references to bad dreams would make her look like a scared little girl, she thought, so telling the truth here would be unacceptable. But... what else could she say?
Her mind wandered off again.
The girl watched with dazed indifference as Syn, the nice woman she'd met a few days ago, tackled the bloodied, white-haired man to the ground.
Syn screamed. Stabbing ensued. Kaitlyn's coffee mug exploded, sending dark brown, lukewarm, liquid bitterness and white bits of ceramic all over the little redhead and the massive doctor, but with all the stabbing going on nobody really seemed to care about that.
At this point, most of the medical staff in the infirmary was beginning to inch slowly away from the carnage. Most of them still knew who this woman was. Those who didn't were grabbed by those who did, quickly becoming the recipients of whispered warnings concerning how unwise it would be to interfere. Dr. Fera, too, decided that his best option at this point was leaving the room, and he motioned for Kaitlyn to do the same. She didn't respond to him; instead, the coffee-drenched girl approached Syn and her victim. Suddenly, she was wide awake. She was shocked. She was confused.
The fact that bloodied-up white-haired man didn't even know who Syn was didn't help anything. Nor did the fact that he could still talk after all that stabbing and kicking.
"Syn?" She piped up, then took a few more steps forward. "What's going on?"
...You've heard stories about me? Don't listen to them! It's safe to sit next to me, really!
Kitra had slipped out of consciousness after Zelek had handed her to the doctors. His little quip about her being ms. meal ticket wasn't lost on her, just didn't have the energy to respond. The doctors and nurses worked quickly to patch her up. One of the docs was able to heal her wounds. But that didn't make Kitra feel any better. She had lost quite a bit of blood. She felt herself being moved and had hazily heard someone scream "YOU".
Kitra blinked and opened her eyes to one of the nurses covering them. That made her grimace, she tugged on the nurse's hand to move it. The nurse whispered, "Hun, I really don't think you want to see this." Kitra shook her head and tugged the nurse to move her out of her view.
Ugh, ok maybe she hadn't needed to see that. Syn was alive and well apparantly. Anyone else but Zelek would have been pure shishkabob after the kniving she had just put him through. Then his little comment of have we met made Kitra raise her eyebrows. Something had to have caused Syn to try to kill him. But maybe she had gotten it wrong? Or maybe Zelek was that good of an actor.
Well, either way, there was another person in the room that asked the question she wanted to. Kitra considered her quite brave to even go near Syn at that point. One of the nurses mutely handed Kitra a glass of orange juice with a stray. She sipped on it quietly while watching the lovely little attempted murder scene in front of her. She figured staying quiet until being asked something by Syn would be wise. Though she was glad Syn was ok, relatively speaking that is. Something had happened, and possibly Zelek had caused it. What joy.
Breathing heavily from the onslaught of would be death blows from her knife followed by her attempts to break every bone in his body with her boots Syn’s gaze never left Zelek. Then the unexpected happened as he asked if they had met. He should be past death by now. How was he even talking to her?
His question only sparked another outburst as Syn connected the tip of her boot to Zelek’s temple. She moved to one of the carts and grabbed a bone saw and was headed back to the man to see how well he did without a head. A figure entered her peripheral view but she didn’t look away from Zelek. The voice was familiar as she had recently heard it the other day. It was Kaitlyn’s voice and she questioned Syn.
Hatred growled in her voice. “This is Zelek! This is the reason for my disappearance! This is the reason I was tortured and abused!” Holding the saw up for Zelek to see she smiled at the man. “And now I have you.” In a general statement the dark woman ordered. “Get my brother here now!”
Zelek's calm question was answered by a boot to the head, his temple to be precise. He rolled to his side and again groaned, that wasn't nice, not at all. His head began to pound and would until his body got caught up to his head. He pushed himself to his elbows as the woman raged to a cart and got a saw.
He brought himself to a crouch before she closed on him with a saw designed to amputate. why they would need that in a building where they had a staff of doctors including healers, he didn't know.
"I would remember torturing you. Don't get me wrong, you're my type and all, but I've never had the pleasure of your acquaintance." He raised his hands and copper colored cords hung from his fingers, the cords ran from his hands into the walls, the next person who touched him would not enjoy what came next.
His eyes shot to the women, he was not pleased to see the expression on her face, determination, murder, hunger. as if her actions hadn't been clue enough, she wasn't likely to be reasoned with.It was interesting to be the prey. he had a pretty good Idea of what it might be like to be bitten to death as he felt the blade slice through him over and over. an experience he wouldn't give back, but one he wouldn't willingly repeat. The copper cords from his fingers and melted and expanded into a large but thin copper disc on the floor around him. He was lucky to have been close enough to an outlet to make this plan work.
"If you could find the patience, I wouldn't mind a moment to see if I have done something to truly deserve this, at least something to you." a wicked smile painted his face. Oh deserved this, but from some dead girls father, or some dead man's wife. Kitra was the first bit of prey he had let escape in quite sometime, and he still hadn't decided if it was delaying the inevitable, or if he found a pretty little toy. It didn't look like her connection to the sanctuary and order was going to work in his favor however.

The little redhead dashed down the hall. Adrenaline was flooding her veins. Lukewarm coffee was soaking her shirt. She needed to find Abyss.
To be honest, Zelek was a lot less imposing than Kaitlyn had imagined. The Zelek that occasionally appeared in her nightmares was a huge, frightening beast of a man. Not to mention an adapted. And apparently in cahoots with her father? She shook her head. Those were just dreams; this was the real thing. And they'd found him! And Abyss needed to get over there!
Her dead sprint abruptly came to a dead halt. Kaitlyn realized that she had absolutely no idea where she was going, or where Abyss would be.
Maybe she could call him? She checked her pockets. No phone. Sigh.
She could always go run and tell Lisa. Lisa could call him. And if she hurried, she could grab some more coffee from the Dining Hall on the way over there.
The coffee-drenched girl soon found herself bolting through the Dining Hall, passing four large, red men on the way to the coffee machine. She fought to catch her breath as she poured a fresh cup of coffee into a fresh, undetonated white mug. Her hands shook as she stirred so much sweetener into the dark-brown fluid that, this time, she hoped, she wouldn't have to deal with that dreadful coffee flavor. She stirred it so quickly that much of the coffee spilled onto the table.
At this point, she realized that it would be stupid to try running to Lisa while also carrying a mug of coffee, because it sould just get spilled everywhere and she wouldn't get to drink any of it. Also, it would be stupid to go running to Lisa, because she'd already found Syn's brother.
Well, four of him. She had no way of knowing if one of them was the original, but that didn't matter right now. She stared at them for a moment through glazed, bloodshot eyes before it occurred to her that she should get his attention.
"Abyss! Syn found the guy who was torturing her, and she's trying to stab him to death in the infirmary!" Perhaps Kaitlyn's words came out a bit more loudly than was strictly necessary, and a bit more quickly than could be easily understood. She took several deep breaths and one long, greedy sip of coffee. "Also, she told me to come get you. I don't think stabbing is working."
(OOC: Kaitlyn and Mars then move on into this thread.)
Mars watched his daughter walk to the coffee machine like it was the source of life. He was confused as to where Lori and he stood recently. But his relationship with Kaitlyn survived any bumps and bruises Lori and he had taken over the years. He didn’t blame the girl but often wondered if she wanted him to take a more active role or liked the way they were as it was.
She turned and exclaimed, his brother’s name. And before he could say ‘hi’ Abyss had moved through the room like a bull charging like hell on two legs through the room, the table in front of them was cracked in half.
Abyss didn’t bother staying for the second sentence , the table they sat at shattered under his grip , one moment he was sitting the next he was flinging tables out of his way with a rare lapse of caution for those around him. He was running at a dead sprint, typically abyssi didn’t move much quicker than a patient jog. Jupiter and Mercury were a half step behind him attempting to contain the wreckage and wraith of Abyss.
Mars turned to Kaitlyn. “We might want to leave the building. If stabbing didn’t work. I’d imagine they are going to find something that does. What’s with the coffee?” if this Zelek was something that those three and Syn couldn’t handle well he might need to stay back, access the situation and apply logic.
“Shall we go see how he fairs against them or shall we spare you the gory scene?” Mars asked politely and sighed softly at the scared sanctuary residents. No one was hurt due to Abyss’s exit thankfully. He wouldn't deny the girl of her freedom in life though he hoped that she would allow him to protect her from seeing what was going to happen in there.
Abyss slammed in to the door and rocked the doorframe loose Jupiter and Mercury crowded in. immediately They started to circle Syn’s prey. He didn’t look like a threat, but was doing something odd and whining for his life.
In a harsh growl Abyss spoke. “I won’t rob you of your vengeance, but know if you unleash me on him, there won’t be anything left.”
As Jupiter and Abyss closed a circle just shy of the copper disc, Mercury went from furious to polite momentarily as he attempted to nudge Kitra back from what was about to become more of a mess, The second she complied his features comically transformed from an apologetic gentleman to a infuriated demon as he closed the circle. There was no escape.
Kitra was thankful when the little girl dashed out of the room. This would probably get messy, of course Zelek had his own defenses. But, when Syn grabbed the bone saw Kitra attempted to stand up. One of the doctors pushed her back down. She growled slightly, what was she doing? She didn't need to be directly in the fray.
Before she could say anything to attempt to help Zelek she heard what sounded like a stampede heading their way. Most of the Abyssi crowded into the room. Kitra gulped, Abyss looked beyond furious. Kitra shook her head as what Zelek had just said danced around her mind for a moment. She opened up her mouth to speak only to be nudged further back away from the potential ripping apart of Zelek by one of the Abyssi.
Kitra couldn't be sure who it was so didn't want to insult. She instead grabbing the Abyssi's motioning hands and tugged and got as close to his ear as possible. Which wasn't very close at all. "I know Syn is raging and its completely understandable." Kitra paused for a few short breaths, nearly dieing didn't feel good and she was not up to par for attempting to save that screwball of a vampire's life. "But, that idiot over there doesn't torture someone then let them live." Kitra looked apologetic, "There might possibly be someone that set him up?" This time Kitra's voice was a tad pleading, she didn't think Zelek could survive being torn apart. And nor did she think the Abyssi would enjoy being electrocuted, she had seen Zelek's little set up and it didn't look pleasant.
Then she probably did something she totally shouldn't of. Kitra peeked around the Abyssi's torso and looked at Syn. "Syn, I know this guy is a murderer, but him torturing people and letting them live isn't on his fun and games list. And also really off the wall question as well. Did you ever see him directly?" She hoped that came out nice and strong and not squeaky as she really should have completely passed out by now. Kitra had her paper ready to try to help if need be but somehow she didn't think she would even make it to help Zelek. All that was left was to see if Syn or the Abyssi had even heard what she had said and took it to mind.
Kitra decided one last ditch effort wouldn't hurt. She cleared her throat, "He also did save me. Wouldn't have lasted much longer if he had left me to die." Never mind that it had been due to the two of them duking it out. Syn and the Abyssi didn't need to know that right at that moment, maybe later on when things had cooled down. Or never, it depended on how things went.
He might not remember her torture and humiliation, but Syn will never forget those events. The length of time her captors took and the joy they got from her displeasure. Oh no..she was going to make sure Zelek would go through the rest of his life with a burning scar of a memory just as she was.
“You hired three cronies to do the job for you. Their names were Morpheus, Knuckes and Cross. I over heard partial conversations with them on the phone with you. They told me you hired them. You may not remember but I do. Now it’s your turn, and I intend to personally make sure .” The fire still raged within Syn. She noticed he had somehow formed a copper looking disc beneath him. For now she would keep her distance, but her emerald eyes burned as they remained locked on the man.
The door to the infirmary practically exploded open as her brothers entered and as if on cue took up positions to surround Zelek. A wicked smile slipped across the dark goddess’ lips for she knew the potential destructive power at her command right this moment. Zelek wouldn’t leave Sanctuary alive nor in one piece if she so chose.
Another view sounded within the area. Kitra spoke up to…defend Zelek? “That may be true , but his minions didn’t get to fulfill their boss’s directions since I killed them all.” The other girl continued saying Zelek had saved her. Syn was glad Kitra was now in the infirmary and would be taken care of, but the years of hatred and rage she had suppressed wasn’t going to give Zelek a ‘get out of being maimed free’ card. No, she fully intended to make him suffer as she did, but much worse.
Seeing as her lethal knife attacks didn’t kill him she began wondering if he was a healer. There was plenty of his blood on the floor and yet he was still moving and talking. Keeping him under her visage she tried looking for the areas she had stabbed him. The easiest being his neck. She couldn’t see any openings where there should’ve been some. He had to be a healer of some sort. Oh this just got a whole lot more fun.
"Kitra speaks truth. I don't hire others to do my dirty work, I've been framed. Worse, who ever did this to you is still pulling your strings. if you manage to do them the favor of taking me out. I don't know a Morpheus, a cross or a knuckles and if you heard them speaking on the phone, you heard them call someone else my name." He was feeling emboldended by her hesitation and cornered by the giants, they didn't realize that putting three of them on three sides and her on the fourth, it made her the exit point if he got the chance.
His dark eyes flitted back and forth. 'I promise you, if I had you at my mercy, it wouldn't have been years. I would have bled you dry the first day I could have. You are too delectable by far to stave off any hesitation. oh no, i would have bit that fine pale neck and drank like a man in the dessert." He leaned toward Syn while staring at her neck, nearly unable to control himself.
A bright red tail swung inches in front of his face with enough force to push him back
" Look, I hope stabbing me several dozen times helped you let go of some stress, I'll even let you do it again if you like." He winked. " But I didn't and I would love to find out who did, and introduce them to that knife of yours. I don't take being framed lightly."
Jupiter was now audibly Growling. Abyss sneered and glanced back and forth from Zelek to Syn she only need nod at him and he would pop this full right off of his disc and rip him to pieces, literally.
Mercury leaned back to hear the Secret Kitra had to tell. "Syn said she killed his people, who says he was going to let her leave? She beat him to the punch.' Mercury argued to argue. He didn't care either way, this looked like a fun game to him. Her breathe on him tickled.
Kitra sighed, it wasn't very loud, just one of exasperation. Zelek wasn't making things any better with his coy smile and just outright murderous intent. Of course him going for Syn's neck wasn't helpful either. She cleared her throat, "As I said, he may be a m_ , nevermind, is a murderer. He would have gone straight for the kill. Torturing really isn't his style."
Kitra paused and stood up, a little shaky but able to stand. "If and I do say if, he had a part in your torture, you would have seen him up front and personal." Then she shrugged and gave Syn a smile that nearly rivaled Zelek's own previous one. "Stabbing him is quite stress relieving." Her tone lost its fun and went serious, "That doesn't solve the problem of who actually did torture you."
Kitra's mind was racing, she knew she was going out on a severe limb, with both Syn and Zelek by saying what she was about to say. However she decided to say it anyway. "If Zelek is involved with this, then I will help you find a way to kill him if that would truly make you happy Syn." Her eyes darted to Zelek. "Though I'm sure it would be quite hard to do as it seems nothing permenantly damages him."
Her eyes were cool, calm and collected. Kitra was quite positive that Zelek did not have anything to do with Syn's very long torture session. It just didn't seem to fit his, well, style. For all she knew, she could be completely wrong. On another note, she just did not feel well. She was rather pale and yet she still ignored the doctor and nurse's pointed glares at her then the bed and back at her. Sitting down on that bed would more then likely mean being ignored again and possibly avoiding massive bloodshed.
Well bloodshed would still happen she was sure. Kitra eyed Zelek, then looked at Syn. This time she had moved her head to put her full attention on Syn. Which caused a wave of dizziness. And which caused Kitra to grab onto the only stable thing that was standing next to her. Which was one of the Abyssi, seemed to possibly be Mercury by how he responded to what she said. Still she couldn't be sure. "Sorry," Kitra whispered, "Just a little dizzy."
Zelek’s ranting along with his obvious desire to drain Syn of…wait...did he really just say what I think he said? Hmmm… She listened to his desires and his pleading. It reminded Syn of something like a wounded animal crossed with a person. Pleading for mercy, but still had plenty of fight as well.
Syn was far from done with all of this and Kitra’s slightly confusing defense for the man wasn’t helping. While the two of them pleaded their case Syn had already begun her prosecution as she filled the infirmary with her power. With Zelek and Kitra too busy talking it wouldn’t take long at all for Syn’s hold to take effect.
Smiling down to Zelek in such a way that would make a Cheshire cat envious Syn continued to direct herself at the man. “Zelek you’re going to tell me the truth in regards to you hiring or being associated with those goons Morpheus, Knuckles and Cross, and you’re going to tell me right now.”
If for some reason her power didn’t work on the man she would try another possible ace from the hand she had just been dealt. Though if all else failed she had three of a kind waiting to play.
