The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Pluto Crouched next to Aura, “ Well it also means we caught up with whoever was on the path in front of as everyone isn’t dead.” He smiled as he looked at the ground infront of them. Rocks, they had snipers , but the Reds with rocks evened the odds. He snapped his fingers twice and pointed at the ground to the other three on the otherside of the opening to the path they had been on. Mercury and Jupiter nodded and grabbed handfuls along with Pluto, popping up in unison they chunked the rocks upwards at the groups running toward the helicopters in two burst handfuls, the first order of business was to keep the helicopters ground side. Pieces of stone burst through the canopy at an angle devouring the enemy nearest them, once they realized that the helicopters would be brought right back down maybe they would cease the futile action, then again if they were like the first soldier they might attempt to follow oders beyond common sense.
Meanwhile Abyss scanned the area for snipers, He spotted the first and opened a void above the sniper from which Mars dropped out of from above snapping the first snipers neck. He pointed and Abyss opened the void once more letting Mars escape from the precarious position, he then closed it and opened another causing Saturn to drop on the next sniper the same way.
Abyss continued to try to spot snipers, Meanwhile he called to Aura through the chaos. “ Do we need this place or should we uproot this tree and send them into chaos?” They would have to work together but they could knock this behemoth of a tree down if needed.
The soilders had heard Aura and the Abyss brothers were comming, they had however failed to understand how to fight them. Aura felt something strike her Aura anf fall in front of her. Picking up the dart she realized the sniper's were firing tranquilizer darts. In the Time it took Aura to look up again, the snipers had been dealt with and the helicopters would never leave the ground again. She would never have reached the ground in time had she been alone, to strike anyone.
"Anything we would need, would be underground, the tree itself is worthless" She said. This tree looked different then she had been expecting. "I do not recall this tree like this....but if it is here, what we would be looking for would be under one of the larger building under about fifteen feet of concrete" Aura said recalling her last trip here. Aura took on another thought, why were they here. They would never have needed this much force just for her and the panicking solders below told Aura the abyss brothers were a wild card in their plans.
It should have taken them another half a day past this tree, to get to one that looked like this. Shaking her head she reminded herself that her memory was itself questionable about the place. Still the last time she had come here she had kept track of the time. It occurred to her that she recalled relatively little of her last trip here, including how she had gotten to that village with geo. She recalled hanging out there but not reaching it.
The massive brother’s looked to one another and then their adopted sister and niece, Aura. Their tree line hiding spot had been discovered and while the immediate threat had been dispatched, more might be on the way.
The girl with the midnight colored hair spoke softly, considering their options. "Anything we would need, would be underground, the tree itself is worthless. I do not recall this tree like this....but if it is here, what we would be looking for would be under one of the larger building under about fifteen feet of concrete" Abyss took into account Aura’s thoughts, “I would say we could dig our way down, but if they can get to it, we can too.Its just a matter of picking the right building. “ Abyss pointed to the largest building, it also seemed to be the one that the soldiers were grouping up to protect. “Let’s start there, hard, fast, and mean.” The brothers stood in unison four pillars of rippling red muscle and mayhem, charged through the field and towards the first building.
Not bothering with the door Mercury swung his fist and made a large impromptu entrance for them all, next, they would need to locate a stair well or elevator shaft, to find their way down.
Aura ran amid the pack of red's, with them silly things like doors were meaningless as Mercury proved easily enough. It was a thrill and Aura's mind became vivid with images of her past. She knew buildings like these she realized. Once through the hole Aura stopped and looked around. The room was very well organized with computers, books and scattered equipment that had been tossed around in the evacuation of the building by others.
With a sudden burst of Anger, Aura brought an Aura hammer down on the monitor of a computer, the computer screen exploded in a shower of sparks. It felt good to hit something and a second blow, crushed the keyboard and shattered the oak the desk was made of, the desk stood standing but no one would ever consider using it again.
Aura looked around and could almost smell the air when she and a team raided a place just like this. SHe could hear the bullets as they bounced off the building. Miracle had known sending them would be a risk, but she had told Aura she had faith in her. Aura shook her head to dispell the thoughts in her head, but her ears recalled the screams of one of her teammates as the boy fell over, a stray bullet having taken out his leg.
Snapping back to reality Aura began a search for anything hidden, forming an Aura hammer on her foot she kicked the ground every few feet to try hear an echo to tell her it was hollow. Several doors were on the far side of the room as well and even some soft music played though Aura could never place the singer even she recognized the voice as American.
Comming to a desk apart from the other's Aura cut the wires from the cimputer and pushed everything off the desk before coming down on the center of the desk witha hammer, this time the desk fell in two peices, but she found nothing like a door under it. She looked around to se eif the red's were havinbg better luck.
The Red and slightly pink Wrecking crew descend upon the building in a wave of deadly violence, the shoulders, while prepared and well equipped were unable to cope with the pain they had brought.
Once on the inside it was a matter of staying in motion and finding what they needed.
Mars grabbed Jupiter's arm and stood him between Aura and another computer that was up and on. He quickly attacked the pc's keyboard and mouse while trying to locate any useful info about the layout or use of the facility, the access on this pc was dreadful, Aura should have killed this computer instead...
Abyss looked to mars and after receiving a slight shake of his head Abyss looked to Aura, "Any clue where they would be likely to keep their stair well?"
Mercury ran around the room tearing down walls turning over desks and other items as if the stair well might be under any of them. at the very least he was having fun.
