La Volure Gallery The idea is still waiting on the approval of Lady J. This is just a trial run to test the theory. The finished idea will include a visual description of the building and I wonder if, should the idea be approved, someone would like to make better looking maps? Lol PM me if you're interested, then I'll send you the blueprint of the building and you can let the creative energy flow. I'd like everyone to be a little involved, but if nobody feels like it then it's okay. The subsequent details are only a prototype of what it will be like - there's no point in me going into great detail with the stats and variables until I know if it's okay with Lady J. Key PP = Pressure pads = 7 agility Pads on the floor/walls which detect fluctuations in pressure. Used behind most paintings and on the floor in front of them when the gallery is closed MS= Motion Sensors = 12 stealth Used to detect motion in a room. !!! = Alarmed pieces = 8 senses, 8 agility Connected to museum security, will go off if not deactivated. AD = Alarmed doors = 8 senses Used to secure locked door. See above. SC = Security cameras = 15 stealth Self explanatoty. MD = Metal detectors = Not beatable Senses also include tricky things like deactivating alarms, and things like picking locks will fall under combinations. Two charries stats boost the other, so charries with 5 stealth and 7 stealth repecitvely make 12 stealth. Things like pressure pads and metal detectors, in fact anything, can be passed with powers. If you think your power could be used to such an effect, go for it - but make it interesting and believable. Fever can't blow machines up with anger. It's not possible. Most rooms have multiple security - of course these are stacked against the player's stats individually. So you could bypass the pressure pads with 7 agility, but you'd fail to deactivate the alarm what with being under 8 agility. The buildings stats are not combined. This may seem easy, but this is only the test run to see if the idea works in practice so I didn't want to overcomplicate it. The final item will include more difficult stats, secret stats, different security ect. The rest is up to the RPer. The building can be broken into anyhow, anywhere, anywhen. Windows, doors, walls, roofs, hacking into the security through terminals to manipulate security (not possible in the trial run)... the real fun is in creation of the story. The best thing would be not to take it too seriously and just have fun describing the ways you bypass the security - I'm not rigid with the stats, just like in real life there would be exceptions. Just have fun with it.
