The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Hey, thanks!" Bree says, accepting the five spot. "If you need anything else, honey, you just ask, right?" She smiles. Yep. Tips will be good tonight.
Siren groans, taking a drink. "C'mon Clair, you know why. No 'upscale' place is gonna hire 'mutant trash' like me."
Bree raises an eyebrow at the be-winged girl. "You for real honey? Look around you- see over in that booth? Guy with the green skin? Oh, and the girl near the stage with the glowing eyes? Anymore mutants and this place would be a mutant city. Unless those things are fake, you probably belong more than me!" She laughs. "No-one wants to start anything here, hon... you're safe." She points to where Clair and Siren are taking their break at the bar. "I mean, the main pulling point to this club is that our musician is a mutant... and a dead sexy one at that." She winks at Rain. "Don't worry about it. Just don't, like, break someone's nose suddenly unfurling those things, and it's all cool." She says with a reassuring pat to the shoulder.
Siren finishes his drink. "Clair, c'mon. You know my voice is hypnotic. What good are CD's going to do me?"
"So you don't sing, I'll sing. I know you write music and if it is half as good as what your background stuff sounds like it will be a hit. Siren look around their is a demand for it, didn't you pay attetion in economics?" Clair kidds around with Siren.

Rain looked at where the waitress was pointing. "I see. Thanks" Rain said much happier. "And these are real and no i wont break anyones nose with them" Rain laughs
"Clair, c'mon... If I was going to make a CD- and this is a huuuuuge if here- I'd really like to do it on my own. And I'd like to sing! Erm- no offense you know. I just think I should focus on my two jobs and.... family." Siren sighs, remembering.
"Maybe...." Siren muses. "Peter's waving us. Time to get back to work. How late you think we're going to be tonight?" He checks his watch. He may be angry with Delphi, but that's no reason... well, he doesn't want to make the fight any bigger.
"A Sunday night, not too awful late. Enough people do have jobs to get to tomorrow morning." Clair says leading the way back up to the stage and starting the second set up with something a little more slow dancing-ish this time, How Soon is Now.
At the 10:00 mark when nobody else is allowed into the club mostly because maxium capacity was reached hours ago, AJ the club bouncer is inside walking around and checking IDs.
Siren lets his fingers walk across the strings of his guitar, a little lazily, not that it effects the music. More so, it just makes everyone feel even more relaxed. He looks out over the sea of heads, and finds himself thinking about what Clair said. It's obvious that he has some sort of a pull... even without his voice.
It gets later towards the end of the evening/early morning and the club has emptied out by about a third, which seem like a lot because everyone can breath now. Clair gives the this is the last song speech and I hope you all enjoyed your night, tip well! And her and Siren bring down the house once all the awwws die out.
"I bet it does, but what can I say I'm a suck for good singers trying to support a family." Clair says off handedly. As she grabs her bag and heads for her car.
