The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Fiona reached the enormous kitchen. She always had to admire the gorgeous design of the marble and the rich wood that made the place. Turning to Hunter as he made his way behind her, she continued her tour while answering his question as well.
"This is the kitchen, where food is made, obviously. In fact, I believe a salad I made earlier is still in the fridge, if you're interested. Not to toot my own horn, but I can cook and make things quite nicely!" she added with a smug giggle.
Walking him through, she continued: "Well, yeah, I am a mutant. I can seduce the opposite sex into hypnosis I guess, although sometimes I wonder if I need to be a mutant fully for that task..." she laughed with an obvious notion to her endowed chest. "I can also have a similar effect on the same gender, making them almost do as I please or make them trust in me more than they would anyone else. And as of late, I've been feeling the feelings of others, but don't ask me about it as I have no idea about that either!" she finished with a roll of her eyes.
“So,” chuckled Hunter, “a temptress by nature. I’d best watch myself.” Inwardly he immediately clamped down on his feelings, focusing on her as opposed to his plans. He would have to be careful, least he give himself away. “Thank you, but I’ll pass on the salad, I had a large lunch.”
He looked around at the kitchen. Something of this size boasted a large number of residents. “Do you know how many people live at the school? Also do they have a catering staff or is it self service?” If they had a catering staff he may be able to have an informer inside the mansion he thought coolly, linking no emotion to the idea.
Fiona giggled as he mentioned "watching himself". She shook her head and smiled, now thinking about the number of people at the school.
"I would have to say hundreds." she answered honestly, as she saw new faces every single day and judging by her own dormitories there were plenty of rooms occupied and non.
She thought back to her first day, seeing in her mind's eye the multitude of people that roam the grounds.
"Oh yeah, definetely hundreds." she added, before answering his next question.
"Erm, it's pretty much self service, however there is catering for the students at times or if the adults don't feel like cooking much... Which is a lot of the time..." she laughed.
“So adults get to choose, but it’s school dinners for the kids,” Hunter summarised with a smile. He made a mental note to look into having someone infiltrate the kitchen staff. “Hundreds of students, that must make for quite a spectacular place, all those gifted youngsters running around.” So many different powers to sample, he felt like a kid in a candy store, or at least he would have if he wasn’t keeping an iron grip on his emotions. “Well, where to next? So far I like what I see, but need to be thorough. Can’t just throw around $200,000 without knowing that it’s going to something worthwhile.”
"Yes, it is quite the place." nodded Fiona, and sighed when she thought about her next stop.
"Well, I believe our next stop is one of the defining areas of the school, the Danger Room. We pretty much train there... I figure you'd want to see that over your basic Dining Rooms." she laughed.
Signaling to the man, she led him to the Danger Room, wondering what he would think about the state of the art facility.
The Danger Room intrigued him. A facility to train mutants, he would have to factor that in when selecting targets. Depending on the level of training offered may pose to be difficult prey. He was already beginning to formulate another plan to gather mutant blood as he followed Fiona towards the Danger Room.
“Danger Room, that sounds like a very ominous name. What sort of training does it offer? Also, how well would a regular human stand up to it? While I have no power, I am a skilled martial artist and proficient with many hand to hand combat weapons. I was wondering if it would be possible to do a light session, to get a feel of it?”
