The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Daria threw the door open in her hurry. She wanted to take a quick shower before going to meet Mike and look for Tricity. She was wondering exactly what this Kage guy would act like upon seeing her again. She didn't make the best first impression.
Opening the bathrrom that was adjacent to the room she began to run the water, waiting for it to heat up. She went back to her bed and undressed placing her workout clothes in the hamper near the door-she needed to do laundry but was so lazy-and wrapped herself in a towel. She rechecked the water but it still wasn't hot yet. Daria knew she was trying to avoid being still, and she knew why. Locked in a small box beneath her bed was Daria's past.
She was in such denial that maybe she would be healed and that her life would go back to normal. She could have her old friends back, her family and...Sean. Daria knew she couldn't avoid the truth for long but she could only deal with it bit by bit. She got to her knees and reached beneath the bed to pull out the wooden contaner. Upon opening it she could smell the scent of her mother's perfume and her father's cologne and she could feel herself being pulled back into memories. She snaped out of it quickly until she found what she wanted.
It was a picture of Daria, before her mutation and a boy with tight braids and a low fitted. They were young about 16 and the picture was taken on Daria's birthday. she and Sean had been together for about a year and still would be had "it" not happened. She had later seen Sean and confronted him. He was fine before she removed her shades and hood then he trated her like everyone else had. She had hoped she could get fixed and things would be normal but Daria understood now that she didn't have to change.
She ripped the picture up and threw it out, closed the box and put it back where it belonged then stepped into the ht shower before dressing and going to meet Mike.

Daria was exhausted. After saying goodbye to Mike she went into her room, undressed and took a long hot shower. She came from the bathroom and collapsed on her bed. She'd had a long day, but a fun day. She curled up on her stomach and wrapped her tail around herself.
Soon she fell asleep. She tossed and turned the entire night as usual. The first time she fell asleep she was woken by a dream she had about the bridge and she was once again cornered by those evil boys who did that cruel deed to her. She fell and woke up before she hit the ground.
The second time she went to sleep, she dreamed of the car accident; a dream she was used to. This time though when she crawled from the car and the beams of light from the flashlights and helicopters shone in her eyes she looked over to the right, up towards the highway and saw a female figure standing there. She couldn't make the figure out because it was shrouded in shadows and too far away. It was wearing a dress though, that flowed in the wind.
She woke up from this, or so she thought, and went to the bathroom to splase water on her face. Soon the walls began to close in on her, the faucet burst and the rapidly shrinking room began to fill up. She couldn't swim and couldn't breathe and soon she woke up for real.
The on and off sleep pattern was indeed, something Daria was used to and so when she awoke she felt as awake as she always did. She Stretched and got herself ready to leave. Putting on a pair of black jeans and vans along with a fitted tee shirt she grabbed her sweater from her bag and got ready to leave her room.
Mike knocked on Daria's door. He could sense that she was awake, so he wasn't nervous about waking her. He yawned slightly as he waited for her to answer.
*tricity was passing through the hallway, taking the pen down from her hair to check off the many things she had to do on her list. she looked up for a second and continued walking, but then stopped after realizing it was mike.* "Hey, what's up? Visiting Daria?"
Mike, tired as usual, looked up in surprise. "Oh, ah, yeah. Just coming to find her before breakfast." He straightened up slightly, nodding to the list. "Busy day ahead?"

Daria heard the knock on the door and knew it could only be Mike. She hadn't really spoken to that many people. She grabbed her bag and opened the door.
"Good morning," Mike replied, holding back the urge to use some cute pet name. He wasn't positve whether or not she'd appreciate it, and also wasn't sure whether or not it'd seem to posessive to her rather independent senses, and for him two strikes were enough to rule against it for now. "Hungry?"
*tricity noticed a sense of awkward silence and her watch went off on schedule.* "I have to get downstairs to make sure the kids aren't destroying things. I'll...uh, see you downstairs?"

Daria nodded. "Okay that's fine" she smiled pleaseantly and waved at Tricity.
Daria slipped her hand into his as they made their way down the hall.
I don't know. I wasn't expecting her to be here. I still think she may be too busy. And remember the psycho? Someone has to be here incase he...well you know, goes psycho.
