The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

And Gawain just earned major points in her book, hopefully he wouldn’t stop to stare at showering women along the way.
Not Credit, Cash.. Cash worked faster. A hand dodged into her bag and back out and she had a small but sassy money clip, that was rarely brought out her bag, it was her make things happen clip.
~~"Can we... get it... 'to go'?"
“No! I’ll bring you hear again, once we figure out what you can’t eat. “
~~"Bathroom?!"
“Yes.” She pointed out the sign and from the look on her face she hopped Lenna made it all the way there. “ There, I will be in there in a sec hun.”
The waitress came over with a Confused, and even slightly perturbed look on her face. She was sure that, she thought they were bill jumpers, but that was not the case.
“How much do we owe you? Give me an estimate and I will over pay and you can take the rest as tip. We need to leave fast; my friend is having a reaction to something in the waffles.” She put up a hand as she started to protest. “ just tell me how much.” And turned to a table of guys. “I will give one of you twenty bucks to catch and hold a cab, tell the cabbie I will tip well. Any takers?” She then applied doe eyes and pouty lip as needed and two of the four guys were standing. With a glance at their clothes, she looked at the other booth. “ Keep an eye on that stuff for me?” all sweet as sugar got a girl what she wanted…from the boys anyway. The grumpstress was getting on her nerves as she muttered in the back ground. Tyranny leaned in close. “Listen…woman. I haven’t started screaming about how the food is poison and how my friend is about to wretch in your bath room and I have even offered I nice tip. Unless you want me to knock your punk ass out and not pay at all, and ruin your reputation, I suggest you tell me a number.”
She fixed the waitress with same look she’d give someone as she lined them up in here sight, and waited about a ten seconds before shoving three twenties in her hand and telling her to bring a seven up to the bathroom. As she went toward the restroom the woman met her with he clear soda.
As soon as Tyranny had pointed, Lenna was scrambling. Bags? Payment for the meal? A tip? All this was forgotten in Lenna's mind, as her shoes took over in their fight to stay clean. She hit the stalls like a freight train, blowing steam.
And then...
It was lucky one of the patrons had managed to neglect putting the toilet seat 'down'. As soon as she'd reached it, she'd doubled over. Then, the thing she was blowing had changed.
Not steam. Oh no...her ears focused in on the faint sound of Bob Marley playing over her. Do it twice. But she really didn't want to!
She wiped her mouth with a piece of toilet tissue, a few minutes later. "Ugh..." One never got used to that feeling... that taste... Her eyes were watering. A hand hit the flusher, and hung there for a moment. Lenna stared down at the toilet bowl again, only this time... a sudden thought had struck.
Why was this lid up again...?
A loud sound from a nearby stall suddenly grabbed her attention. ... that isn't the kind of sound a lady makes... Lenna's watering eyes widened. Was she...!?
"Y'all righ', Darlin'?" A husky voice asked from her right.
Gawain arrived with the medicine just in time to see Tyranny disappearing into the... men's room? Surpassing a grin, the knight didn't even bother to leave the window glass, instead he made his way to the bathroom mirror... ... just to fall flat on his face a moment later.
Oh. Nulling powers. Right. Forgot about that. Also. Ouch.
Pulling himself up and muttering curses he looked at Tyranny; she was easier to look at, not hanging her head into the toilet at the moment. "Here, I've got it" he said, handing over the medicine "Are we getting her to the hospital or what?"
The sounds Lenna made were making his stomach turn. Sometimes sympathy is a very bad thing to have.
"Sorry to Invade Sir, but my friend obviously isn't feeling well."
She watched and waited as Lenna cleaned out her stomach of all possible debris. and then a moment later Gawain was doing a face plant onto the ground, she couldn't help but think about how dirty they both were. when she got a chance she was going to sanitize the heck out of both of them.
~~"Here, I've got it" he said, handing over the medicine "Are we getting her to the hospital or what?"
"I've got some guys watching our bags and some guys getting us a cab, but first she needs to settle down enough for us to get two of those in her and keep them there."
"Lenna sweetie, I've got a sprite and a couple of pills that'll help you feel a lot better til we get you to the hospital and let them work there anti allergy magic. K? so as soon as you think you can handle it I need you to get some benadryl in you."
**"This sucks."
Tyranny nodded sympathetically. "If you want to check on the bags or something you don't have to watch in here." she definitely understood where mirror was coming from on not wanting to watch but you give someone a month as a nurse and you are just thankful they made it to a container of some sort.
Miserable. She was in pain. Her stomach hurt, her throat burned... her eyes were wetter than the backside of a big man on a hot day. This feeling, she wouldn't wish on anyone! Lenna was so embarrassed... she hoped nobody else got to hear this side of her. It wasn't pretty, and... was that Tyranny's voice?
God. Dammit.
It seemed misery loved company... But the miserable didn't want it.
Lenna's death-grip on the rim of the toilet bowl tightened. And then, there was Gawain... urgh. The things she put these two through...
And again, "Urgh...!"
>>"Lenna sweetie..."
... Pills?! Her eyes snapped back to look pleadingly at Tyranny. "Yes, ple----" Stomach-clearing caught up with her again, and she turned back towards the toilet bowl again.
A break came in the innards-empyting. Lenna wiped her mouth, and turned to Tyranny. She held out her hand.
"Okay... let's just..." She took the pills, and downed the drink. With a staggered motion, she stood. Feet unsteady, Lenna moved to put her arm on Tyranny's shoulder. "Let's go."
>>"I've got some guys watching our bags and some guys getting us a cab, but first she needs to settle down enough for us to get two of those in her and keep them there... If you want to check on the bags or something you don't have to watch in here."
Gawain walked to the door and looked out; a few men were standing outside, looking quite confused. "There's nothing to see here" he assured them before turning back to the girls. Lenna was finally on her feet, with Tyr's help.
>>"Let's go."
"Yeah, let's." he nodded, holding the door open for them and walking out after. Ther was already a cab waiting outside; Gawain picked up their bags from the people who were watching them, and followed the girls to the cab.
"Good thing ya're a nurse." he muttered to Tyranny, once they were all in the backseat "What the heck is she allergic to anyway?..."

Tyranny stood there waiting for Lenna’s stomach to get done with its version of trying to save her, Lenna didn’t look like she was enjoying it,but in the long run, expelling whatever was causing the allergic reaction was paramount. Poor, poor, thing.
**"There's nothing to see here" ok, she was going to have to cut the kid some slack on the perv jokes, he was much to noble for his own good though.
~~"Okay... let's just..." "Let's go."
**"Yeah, let's."
**"Good thing ya're a nurse."
“Good thing you are designed to make raids on medicine cabinets.”
**"What the heck is she allergic to anyway?..."
“My guess would be something that was in my waffles and not hers…which, I don’t even want to say it because it makes me sad, I think she may be allergic to strawberries. But that is just a guess.”
“ Sacred heart Please and quick but smooth would be nice.” She added the last bit as a request there was absolutely no bit of patronizing in her tone, too many people didn’t know how to treat cabbies.
Strawberries? Lenna held back her hair. What kind of cruel 'twist of the knife' fate was this?! It was so much garbage! Strawberries were good, and delicious, and right, not that she'd had many in her life, but hey! Dammit! It was a fruit!
No, wait. It was a berry. A strawberry. Boy, was her face red.
That was probably the allergies, though. Right?
Lenna blushed as the taxi drove along, and said not a word.
>>“Good thing you are designed to make raids on medicine cabinets.”
"One of the bright sides." Gawain smirked "That reminds me, I'll prolly have to take some medicine back there, we wouldn' want someone else droppin' dead because of us."
Because that's what knights do.
>>“My guess would be something that was in my waffles and not hers…which, I don’t even want to say it because it makes me sad, I think she may be allergic to strawberries. But that is just a guess.”
Gawain frowned. Saying 'that sucks' again would not have helped much, so he stayed silent instead, glancing at Lenna once in a while and mainly looking out the window to see where the taxi was taking them.
"Well, look at it this way" he patted Lenna on the shoulder "At least now you'll know what not to eat. And it could have been worse, if Tyr wasn't around."
"One of the bright sides." Gawain smirked "That reminds me, I'll prolly have to take some medicine back there, we wouldn' want someone else droppin' dead because of us."
~“ohhhh, that’s a good I dea, I can get you a stack of samples once we are at the hospital. If I can T scrounge up a bottle or something”
"Well, look at it this way" "At least now you'll know what not to eat. And it could have been worse, if Tyr wasn't around."
“Glad I could help.” She said as she put a hand to Lenna’s head taking her tempature the best she could. It wasn’t long before the vehicle had gotten them to Sacred heart and then into the emergency room. Tyranny all but waved them through, like gate crashers at a club they flew by all the less stylish patrons waiting in line. She would also have a doctor seeing her in no time at all. The doctors knew better than to provoke her wraith.
Knew what she couldn't eat. Haha, right... and knowing was half the battle. The remaining half was scouring menus for sight or mention of whatever problem ingredient she couldn't handle, and living in fear.
Lenna grouchily made her way to the emergency room, at Tyranny's side. Gawain had the bags. She was grateful, really. She'd have to find a way to repay them... just as soon as she dealt with the fact that she didn't really have insurance, and that (sh*t), she was in the country pretty illegally. Fake IDs and forged passports only got hurling ladies so far. Hopefully, Tyranny could get her the rest of the way. If not... hell, maybe she could scream so loud the shock collar killed her? There was a thought. Heh.
Once they made it to the hospital Gawain let out a breath he'd been holding for quite a while. The worst was over, they were in a safe place filled with people who knew Tyranny and could take care of Lenna, what could happen now, right? Right.
As Tyr dragged the poor suffering girl down the corridors, Gawain fell behind. He decided his assistance was not needed anymore, and it would make things unnecessarily awkward if he followed them into whatever room Tyr was taking her hostage, so he just stopped outside, not really sure what he was supposed to do.
The weird adapted thingy was gone. He was not sure if he was actually feeling the change, or just imagining it because of the recent shock of discovering that such a thing really existed. Now, for the firs time since he met the girls, he had some time to think about what this new piece of informtion meant. People who cancel mutant powers. Hmmm.
There would be questions, later on. There would be talk, and more talk, and some medicine taken back to where it had been found. But for now, the worst was over. Something new for every day...
