Damian walked out the front doors of the mansion as they seemingly opened up for him without needing to be touched. Damian strolled out and into the grounds. He looked around and saw Layla right behind him, wearing a tight-fitting tank top and smiling. He smiled back and waited for her to catch up.
Deathstar followed Damien outside the mansion. She jogged a little to catch up with him. "Nice weather today, unlike last week" she smiled to herself while trying to get serious again. "So Damien what brings you and Aaron here?" she says as she walks with hands clamped behind her while looking over the lake reflecting beauty.
Damian admired the beauty of both the lake and Layla and smiled. "Well, Tricity and I go way back. We used to be best friends and I tracker her down to here. Joining the X-Men interests me also." he said. He didn't try to hide anything and spoke the truth. Damian looked around and saw a large boat in the middle of the lake. He started walking to the lake as the boat telekinetically started drifting over to the shore.
As they were walking toward the lake Deathstar thought to herself and admired his loyalty to his friends, "If I can only people as loyal as you , I would've never gone through the things I went through" she then notices the boat floating towards the the two, "a boat ride, I see your a true gentlemen" she laughed to herself as she steps inside the boat. "So hows your family life, did they reject you?" she sits down on the boat awaiting for Damien's reply.
As Damian sat in the boat, he nodded. "Yeah, they don't like mutants." he said simply. He began moving the boat at a slow, casual pace using his powers and he smiled. "What about you?" he asked. He started steering the boat towards the middle of the lake.
Deathstar ran her fingers through the water as Damien asked her a personal question, "Well I don't have a family, they were killed" she looks at Damien and then looks away at the water, "I killed them" she paused expecting Damien to act out of shock. "Please! don't judge me, I didn't have control of my actions at that time" she sat up straight and throws a stone skipping on the water. " I guess you don't want me to see Aaron anymore, if thats the case I understand" she became reserved Deathstar was expecting to be treated like everyone else been treating has all her life.
Damian said nothing at first. "I care naught for what you have done. That is in the past; we are in the present now." he said. He had chosen his words carefully, making sure to sound right. He looked Layla in the eyes and smiled. He gazed at her, into her, and couldn't help but blush a little. He stopped the boat and dipped his hand in the water.
Damien blush made her smile as she gazes back at him, for the first time Deathstar wasn't afraid to let down her guard and be herself, she snaps out of it and responds to his comment" I don't get responses like that from everyone, I'm honored and I don't say that everyday so consider yourself lucky" she says jokingly, after her statement she notices him running his fingers through the water, she kicks off off shoes lays out her legs on the boat to get more comfortable. "So what do you think about me?", she asks a question hoping to throw him off guard.
"You're a good-looking girl with an Attitude and scary past." Damian said as he took off his shirt and pants. He was wearing a bathing suit underneath. He jumped in and floated to the top. "The water's nice." he said with a smile as he started swimming on his back in circles around the boat.
Deathstar watched as he took of his clothes showing his bathing suit, she couldn't help but admire his sculpted body, " care if I join ", she says as she pulled off her tank showing off her skimpy bikini top, she quickly adjusts her top to make sure everything was in place, and dived in deep into the lake. She popped up to the surface and pulls her hair from her face. "Water is cold" she says as she smiled widely. "Wanna have a little race or are you scared to be beaten by a girl?" she swims around him awaitng his answer.
Damian looked at Layla in her bathingsuit and smiled, as if in a trance. He then dipped his head into the water to come to his senses and lauhed. "Okay!" he said with amusement and a chuckle. "First one to the boat wins." he said as he made the boat zoom about 50 metres(150 feet) away. He rolled onto his back and started swimming slowly forwards so that Layla could catch up. He could atleast give her false hope. He swallowed some water and spit it out. Maybe this wouldn't be so easy afterall.
Deathstar nodded her head with agreement, she swam near Damien as her was floating on top of the water, "Ready!..Go!" she says as she dove deep into the water trying to get under Damien and pull him under. She grabs his legs and pulls him down beneath the surface getting leverage, by this time she was steady swimming froward in full speed hoping he wouldn't catch up.
Damian laughed as he was being pulled under and managed a breath before he was fully submersed. He then scrunched his body up and expanded it like a leaping frog so that he zoomed forwards. With his swimming in high school and more muscle he was just a few feet behind layla in no time. He grabbed her foot and pulled her back, smiling during the process...
Deathstar playfully struggled to get out of Damien's grasp, but slowly gave in coming down in the water gracefully in front of him, face to face underwater she realized he had the most beautiful eyes and smile. she placed on her arms on his shoulders gently swimming to the surface to catch a her breathe, pulling her hair back from her eyes and wiping the water from her face, she spoke softly still trying to catch her breathe, "If only life can be this fun" she says while looking around the lake and the animal life that surrounds the two. She floats closer to him , slowly pulls her hand out of the water, and gently rubs and caresses his face. "Aaron's mother was lucky to have a guy like you" she said under her breathe.
Damian smiled and put his hands on Layla's hips. He caressed her thighs and smiled. "Se certainly was." he said softly. "And any man with you has a great gift" he said romantically. He looked her in the eyes and she was the only thing in the world. Nobody, thing, or sound could enter his mind; Layla was the only important one.
