She smiled as he told of the pros of her mutation. "Yes, but I have learned that it only works on people and on a select few mutants, most can hear or see or smell me coming by their mutation. So it wouldn't work with any bad mutants."
Her eyebrow raised in a confused yet amused fashion as he stated that he guesses it would be "ok" to see Miss Tipper. "OK? She asked, do you wanna hold off on that for now or do you wanna go see her? It's up to you, you're the new guy." She dropped the raised eyebrow and just smiled, and not just like looking cute smile, it was like an earnest smile, but for all those that are reading that probably won't understand what I mean. Just like a 'haha, you're interesting' smile and not a 'maybe if I smile, he won't bother me anymore but I'm not being offensive.'

"I was under the impression that only ferals had heightened senses?" He said looking a little puzzled by her comment "Because I don't have them and only one of the mutants I know from the street did." He told her still looking puzzled by it, but the look of confusion faded quickly as she ask if he wanted to hold off meeting the headmistress of the school.
"Well I don't know if I should go or not, is she the one who would tell me what room I would be in or what?" He ask Fade hoping she would know something of it. "Cause I would like to see the rooms, this place is beautiful so it got me wondering." He said smiling again. "By the way, where are you from, I don't remember if I caught it?" He ask "I am from West Virginia." He told her with a slightly bigger smile.
"Well, I don't know the scientific terms for them, I just know the ones that have like animal characteristics." She shrugged. "Oh, well, Miss Tipper is like the head of the school, so she wouldn't assign you a room, just tell you the best place to get one and that you'd need to get one in the guy's part of dorms. Um, I can show you the rooms though, if you want to check it out first." Then again, the only room that she could show him would be empty rooms or her's, but she didn't know if that was allowed.
"West Virginia, huh? I'm not really from anywhere specific, more a drifter. Never liked to stay in one place for too long, this mansion is the ONE exception since I was little." This was true, the mansion was the only place she considered home since no where else had treated her so well since she was quite little.
"Alright I guess you can show me at least the dorm itself." He said not wanting to sound to puzzled by he whole thing. "It is a pity that you never got to stay anywhere for to long, I only recently starting jumping from place to place." He told her looking around as he walked on.
"So lets go check out the dorms then we can stop by Miss Tipper for whatever I need there." He said his more relaxed smile on his face "Then i can start to try to understand this place." he added with a little laugh.
Fade looked down and stated "Well, it was either I life of moving around, or a life of new fosters parents every once in a while. It wasn't too bad anyways, got street smart and that helps me out alot." She shrugged. "So I will go ahead and show you one of the rooms, if you'll just follow me up the stairs."
