The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"you don't like frosty much either i see" She said seeing his reaction to the name, it was fine she really did not like him either. "And i suppose, school fights have a way of bringing out the best parts of us" She said referring to their powers. Aura saw their powers as what defined each person first, even herself. Aura walked a few steps deeper into the room, not for anything specific but because she was a bit unused to standing around. She enjoyed having geo around he seemed like a nice enough for a boy. She also conisderd her time with the old team, the battered blade still with the dried blood of her had served as the reminder of her failure for some time. "One of these day's i should find out if my parents are still alive, i would not mind placeing their heads on the gates of the X-mansion to watch them squirm a bit" she said, her smile growing brighter, of course that would entail recalling whare they lived or her last name.
"We had a bit of a...rough meeting," Geo said searching for the words. He ran his hand through his hair as he fought back the anger of the memories. "I hunted down my parents after the registration. I left my father with a going away present, similar to the one he gave me after I manifested my powers..." Geo's voice trailed off as the night played over in his head. The rain storm, walking into the house after running home from school and his father greeting him with a baseball bat. Geo laying in the ran, cold and bloody. The long drive to the X-mansion, the one salvation he had heard of for mutants.
"These things happon" was all she could think to say to his story, and they did happen. though it sounded as if Geo had really been hurt during his experience. She assumed they all had tragic story's in their pasts. She redirected her attention to the pool table fairly sure a change in the subject would be best. The Table was an interesting game and she did find some intrest in it, even if her shot's had been somwhat questionable, she felt this was born from a lack of skill. Auea walked dlowly deeper into the room and turned one of the TV"s on. It had been quite some time since she had the opportunity to really watch one, she had not done so the entire time she had been here and her apartment had lacked a TV at all. She turned on the News, well more acurately the news what on the station that she had turned on. Nothing importent seemed to be going on the news, they were busy talking about a car acadent.
