The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

It had been a few weeks since Ali had been officially cleared to move about the Colony. She spent some of her time meeting some of the other residents. Mostly the ones who had either their own little shops or sold goods off wagons. She liked going for a morning stroll and having the man with the fruits and veggies on his cart greet her.
His name was Thomas and was probably in his sixties. He had a full head of silver hair with a silver beared to match. Ali had talked to the man once and learned that he could manipulate plants. So he found his calling in growing food in the Colony. He was a good man and always smiled when Ali approached.
"Well good mornin' to ya miss Ali. Care for an apple or something this fine day?"
Ali smiled and gave the man a friendly hug.
"That actually sounds rather good mister Thomas."
The man picked out one of his best apples and gave to to Ali. With a smile and a nod Ali accepted the fruit. Looking around she couldn't help but admire what had been accomplished in the Colony. The place was simply amazing.
"It's quite a thing to take in don't ya think? Who would've thought mutants could make something so wonderous."
"And beautiful."
Ali added. She started thinking on what she was going to do in this new home of hers. How could she help out?
The answer was pretty obvious. She could assist with the temperature control and maybe some other tidbits. This was something she would need to talk to Garrett about.

Vibe paused a moment to take in her surroundings. This was her first time to the Colony of Antarctica, and it wasn't exactly what she expected. It kind of reminded her of a biosphere, or a bubble city from a science fiction movie. It was much too quiet and small for her tastes, but that didn't keep her from appreciating its beauty and craftsmanship. After all, craftsmanship was what brought the petite sonic more than halfway across the world.
Security and Health screening moved along a bit faster than Vibe expected. She knew she was Haywire-free, and on any other occasion, she might have tried to weasel her way out of it. But she'd heard the locals were very intolerant of anyone they considered a threat, and the redhead had a reputation to uphold. In her career as a professional shopper, she had only been fired from one job; her first. After that, she made sure that she only took on clients with reasonable demands. Though she had to admit, this demand seemed a bit over the top.
Six months earlier Vibe had acquired a new client, a woman who collected one of a kind items. She had at least four separate galleries to host her collection, which included everything from art, jewelry, clothing, antique toys, and many more. She even had a greenhouse that cultivated rare, hybridized plants. Currently her gardeners were working to revive so-called 'extinct' roses. Personally, Vibe viewed her as a pack rat with too waaaaay much money. But as long as some of that wealth passed on to her, the redhead could care less. Today's search?
A personalized statuette of the woman herself and her dog -- a bichon frise that thought she was Cleopatra -- made out a special colored metal -- not dyed, painted or artificially colored, but naturally imbued with color -- created by an artisan, who had taken up residence in the Colony, and taken the name Aurora.
Vibe took a deep breath. This.... was going to be interesting....
She checked the map, then made her way to the Market Dome. Before she could begin her search, her stomach rumbled. Looking decidedly touristy compared to the locals, she began looking for a food vendor. Spotting a fruit and veggie stand, she stepped up beside another redhead, this one much taller, and began scanning the wares.
"These are beautiful," she complimented the man running the stand. "Everything is grown here?"

While contemplating how she would propose her offer to Garrett to see what his thoughts were Ali didn't notice the newcomer right away. She didn't immediately look at the person who had a feminine voice.
"Yea it's pretty remarkable and yes everything is grown here."
The fire elemental turned to the new voice.
"My name is Ali and..."
Something felt familiar about this woman. Ali just couldn't put a finger on what it was.

"Yea it's pretty remarkable and yes everything is grown here."
Vibe nodded in a compliment as she looked over the fruit. Her eye landed on a basket of strawberries, plump and bright.
"My name is Ali."
"Hello," she replied absently as she handed the man the price of the berries.
"And... your name is?"
"Viola Enders." Vibe bit into one of the berries. Her eyes lit up, and a smile planted itself on her lips, as an appreciative, 'Mmmm!' left her throat. She reflexively turned to look at Ali, as if to share the reaction. "Oh, these are heavenly!"
Mid turn, she looked at the other redhead, and tilted her head.

"I have a similar feeling that I've seen you somewhere as well. You don't really see too many redheads in general."
Ali thought on it a litle more but the answer still eluded her. Maybe one of the two of them will remeber at some point. Until then she would treat the woman kindly.
"All the food here is wonderful. Mutant grown food should've been on the market back in the States alog time ago."
Letting out a soft giggle she bit into her apple. If food like this really had been more available the mutants would've made a killing if not for profit then in popularity due to the flavors. That's when her thoughts on helping with the climate popped back in her head. She was certain the controlled temperatures helpd greatly with the plant manipulators.
