Character
Personality: She has obtained traits that has led her to be an antisocial realist, frequently expecting the worst from humans and mutants alike because of her pessimism. It is difficult for her to express bond with others, specifically due to her childhood trauma. When communicating, Larraine can appear to be either cold or compassionate, her differentiation is dependent on the individual she's focusing on. She has concentration issues and is unable to focus on one matter at once, this causes her to often prolong her conversations into inconsistent murmurs.
Despite her flaws, trauma has affected her in both aspects; causing her to grow into a determined, critical-thinking, resilient young woman. In contrast to this, she has been known to project vulnerability and her pessimism onto others. This is due to her lack of socialization and emotional release. Her experience has universally made her socially impaired and less tolerating of certain groups of individuals. Furthermore, she is enforced to be selfless due to her abilities, and this may affect her overall compassion to the common-person. Generally, she's a talkative yet socially inept person who doesn't mind presenting conversations with her sarcastic sense of humor.
Hobbies/Interests:Travelling is a necessity when you’re unable to be secured financially. Another interest that the woman has sparked an interest in is community work. Church activities especially eases the woman's mind. Speaking of which, God in most cases is Larraine’s only source of comfort. It is no shock whatsoever that delving into music or being able to create is an oddity for the homeless woman. Her mood lightens whenever she is able to do so, as by doing so it reminds her of the pleasant times during her childhood, opposed to the trauma that occurred.
Job or part-time job and description:Part-time babysitter. Fears/phobias/concerns:She has acquired a phobia of being hospitalized and has concerns surrounding the concept of death and or being powerless. This stems from her childhood. Special talents: She is musically inclined, having near enough ideal, trained-pitch. Other than this, she plays a various amount of instruments, such as the violin and piano. Moreover, Larraine is academically-intelligent and this is self-evident considering her high-score examination scores.
Morality
Good/bad/neutral/other:Lawful Neutral? She favors to have wholesome intentions opposed to negative intentions, preferring tradition and structure to her environments. As long as she is supported within a group, Larraine wouldn't necessarily mind her actions as long as she's apart of a structured group setting. The majority of her actions are based around her abandonment issues and thus, projection is inevitable. This can cause her to lash out on others; especially when she has been criticized.
Mutations
Mutation description: Disease Absorption: A disease of any quantity is essentially able to be cured by the young girl after being digested. It is exceptionally obvious to the common eye when this action is occurring due to her mouth gaping to absorb the disease; wherever it is a common illness, cold, disease or disorder. To be able to engulf the contagion, she has to be in a 10ft radius of the individual. After using her healing capabilities on a sufferer, Larraine either weakens their predominant symptoms or cures the disease altogether.
Healing Properties: Compared to an average individual, Larraine's immune system's healing process could be considered remarkable. The healing progress against contagions can either last for a period of weeks, days or months. Overall, it depends on how adapted she has become to the symptoms she is confronting. Despite this, her physical healing capabilities aren't as potent. The physical healing stage is prolonged, opposed to the average that her inner-workings heal. A universal weakness for the teenager is that her immune system can go into an induced-coma or 'hibernated state', depending on the amount of diseases she is opposing against at once.
Immunity to Diseases: Her immunity with diseases, specifically illnesses and viruses is a painless threat for the individual. Through the past several years, her immunity has adapted and is continuously doing so. The outer-layer of her body, including her physical abilities adapt alongside her immune system as it strengthens against the pathogens that affects her body. Despite this, her body hasn't fought against every disease that mankind has produced, meaning it is an oblivious case to know whether or not her body is able to withstand every symptom that contacts her immune system. This process commonly is endured in under a month and as for her weaknesses with immunity, heart-disorders aren't as briskly recovered for the girl as most diseases are.
Sickness Aura: An unexpected aura of that projects nausea and sickness, including delirium and discomfort to others in a 5ft radius around her; occurring specifically due to the overuse of her abilities. Compared to her other abilities, she has no former experiencing with containing her 'sickness aura', as she addresses it. This ability only occurs after consuming plentiful of disease that her body isn't able to handle. Her body then proceeds to discharge sickness to those around her until she is able release the disease she is experiencing from her body. As for the time period, it occurs and remains for a few days after consuming several diseases. Chronic Pain Transmission: A chronic pain transition can be used to condemn violence against others in a 20ft radius from the young woman. This transmission is only exclusive to Larraine whilst she is dealing with confronting her abilities and has engulfed a disease; or several. There are however negative effects that can be brought along with this effect, such as; only being able to transmit a similar level of pain that she is experiencing at that given moment. Another negative notion of this ability could be that whenever her concentration was interrupted whilst transferring pain, it is plausible that she could misdirect the chronic pain to an innocent individual in the vicinity.
This ability is more effective on non-mutants and adapted humans opposed to mutants. The reason behind a fellow-mutant experiencing less pain than say, a non-mutant or adapted human is because their body already contains the X-Gene in some form or another. This means that their body wouldn't have to suffer from cross-contamination between an average contagion and its developed-self because of Larraine's abilities.
Weaknesses and Limitations: An infamous limitation of hers is subconsciously projecting nausea, sickness and delirium to the mortals surrounding her after the overuse of her capabilities. For this reason, individuals aren't allowed to be in her vicinity without risking danger, and the lack of socialization that is brought on by this weakness is limiting in itself. Especially considering that this can lead to death when untreated.
Despite her abilities, Larraine's immune system is only able to tolerate in largest a maximum of ten diseases at once; including viruses, colds, disorders. This can proceed her to depart reality into a 'hibernated state' after digesting said diseases. A major threat of this is that the illnesses within her body have been known to mutate and adapt together, spreading, and thus worsening the damage they have on her immune system.
Further explanation of her limitations, weaknesses and overall nuances are explained above in the ability section.
Physical Abilities: General Physical Capabilities: Her physical capabilities can be to a lesser extent of that of a human’s in the process of ingesting a virus, causing her to be fatigued and have symptoms of the virus or condition that she has absorbed. She has no previous fighting experience and wouldn’t be able to hold her own against an experienced fighter unless she strategies or uses her powers against them.
Her immune system, physical strength and immunity is benefited from her ability; as for each encounter with her capabilities, Larraine physically adapts to generate strength to repress certain symptoms that manifests in her body. An adjustment of minor added physical strength has been accommodated in her body for this reason; as an adjustment to be able to suppress occurrences from outwards as well as inwards.
Fighting Style: A fighting style isn't present in Larraine's knowledge, however, compromising by using her abilities to her advantage is a must in menacing situations.
History Of Your Character
Born into an irresponsible, traditional household, Larraine’s childhood was traumatizing; especially considering that the teenager was born into a barbarous area in Brooklyn, New York. The majority of her childhood was confined, lonesome; television was her sole reason for happiness, that’s until her introduction to the school-system occurred. Academically, musically; these areas the young, ‘rebellious’ female shined in. For the first time in her adolescence, Larraine felt a sense of pride and grew individually. Despite her parent’s radical beliefs, her main aim throughout her childhood was to impress her parents. However, that would soon alter at the age of eight as her younger, submissive sister, Ava, was born.
Unfortunately, being the elder between her sister, Larraine was destined to provide emotionally for her younger sibling as both of her parents were away; either working to support their low income family, or to protest. This irked the female, as her sister now garnered additional attention and she was ‘forgotten’ about in a sense; an accessory for child support. Beyond their sibling rivalry, a close kinship was formed between the two. Although her scorn was apparent initially, they were viewed as inseparable by outsiders and even their parents eventually. Throughout the years, her jealously lessened and bickering had essentially forfeited.
A fateful, hectic day proceeded to change the teenager’s life at the youthful age of eleven years old. She began experiencing chest-pain, breathlessness, however, this wouldn’t cause her parents imitate concern. This soon would be known other than a common-day cold, as Larraine had been suffering from it for the past few weeks and thus, an appointment to the E.R. finally emerged. Contradictory of her parents, the doctors expressed prominent distress for the young female; as her symptoms were no laughing matter whatsoever. She was then in that moment diagnosed, sympathetically, with cancer.
A clear prediction for anyone’s impulse reaction would subsequently be that death was going ultimately follow their constant direction. This wasn’t the case for the young female however, as her parents appeared to show authentic worry for their child for the first time in years after neglecting her, and this was the main reason for her disorientation. A diagnosis, a simple-diagnosis caused others to eventually pay attention to her as a human-being. An impactful diagnosis, both on her mental-state and elsewhere, as an unexpected turn occurred that her parents despised. Their daughter was the mere inferior human that they had protested against for years; a mutant. In an instance, the support she gathered throughout the past few months had altered into hatred and consequently, rejection loomed into her life once again.
The main skepticism with her diagnosis is that despite her chemo-therapy, Larraine’s bodily functions appeared to rapidly cure the cancerous cells in her body within months. Furthermore, their disbelief expanded as the girl continuously contained further diseases in her body, even sexually contracted diseases which lead to the questioning of her parental-guardians. As the diseases continued to protract and heal whilst under supervision, an agreement was formed by personnel that the young-teen was in fact an oddity, a mutant. This caused her to express dread, as her parents were now aware of her capabilities. Expecting a reaction from her guardians, she emotionally-prepared to be disowned. That however didn’t arrive as their guardianship removed from their children; and the siblings were separated from each other.
Therefore, she was then placed into a foster-home. It wasn’t accordingly nurturing, nor was exemplary treatment given to her by her caregivers. Throughout the next few years, her emotional-state declined into doubting common intentions and overall, distrusting humanity as an entire whole.
Unfortunately, after receiving pleasant results from her final examination, a mishap happened as another student began tormenting her for her ‘deathly appearance’. She subconsciously released a toxin, a gas-like substance, causing several students to have delirium and for the tormentor to be placed into critical condition. Afterwards, she was placed under house arrest, albeit briefly. Her foster-parents then essentially informed her that she had to move elsewhere as they labelled her as a ‘distrusting, hazardous mutant’. As a homeless without guidance, she’ll have a tendency to be homeless altogether, especially when she isn’t able to provide for herself financially with babysitting.
Given her circumstances, Larraine’s attempting to rectify the potential she has; wherever that may be academically or with the potency of her capabilities. She currently resides in New York, travelling back and forth between occupational opportunities. As of present, it is plausible that you’re aware of her existence as the ‘homeless youth that you pitifully ignored eye-contact with,’ however, there’s a determination that is contained within the girl for her pursuit to go elsewhere in life.

Sample RP:
Her composure was sprawled across the alleyway floor. A disappointment, a failure, all of these comments is how she would describe herself; as her hair dampened due to the rain from above faintly dripping onto her frame. The non-infectious, adapted lumps spread across her arms brought her into a frantic state of mind momentarily. Her finger gently pressed up against the lump and thus, a dreaded mumble escaped was vocalized. The apprehension of the gut-wrenching feeling of dread was adamant throughout her mind as she was isolated on the floor. "What's the point in living anymore?" was a frequent thought, to say the least. Instantaneously, a clamorous sound had caught her attention as her head turned towards another homeless youth, who was searching for scraps. The debris hid the young female away from sight, however, that would be soon interrupted as she stood and approached the individual for contact. Her body, specifically the sores in particular, caused her intense ache as her body moved to her destination. Her eyes met with the saddening, expected view, as she glared to the disturbed homeless youth. "Sorry, I thought you were someone else," an excuse was communicated to the youth as they scowled in her direction. An eye roll was unavoidable as they continued searching for their desired item and as for Larraine, she began traveling back to her original position.
That however would be interrupted as her mouth was forced agape. An absorption of air, among other entities then entered throughout her body; primarily common contagions from the individual she had momentarily interacted with. Throughout this process, the individual's mouth was enforced open. As the transaction halted, Larraine's initial reaction was to apologize. Shortly afterwards, however, they would scatter away in a logical, frenzied state. She scoffs, astonishingly finding enough strength to crawl back to her original location, sitting on the unwelcoming alleyway-floor. Tears brought themselves down onto her cheek in a solemn manner and eventually, the abundant amount of pain caused her to slip into unconsciousness; entering a shock-induced coma. With no resources or assistance, there is no knowing if she would be able to survive, as the world around her faded into nothingness.
