The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

It was a warm day for October. The air and street were peaceful, hiding the dangers Aura had began to see everywhere. The area had been quite for days which had given her littile to do but sit and think, something she tended to hate.
Aura had began calling people she knew in a bid to expand the order. Between the meta bots and ragnarok she knew they might be in trouble despite her words. The world was getting more dangerous very quickly and with Isabel doing undercover work Aura needed dangerous mutants at her side and Enders powers certainly made him a good candidate. She could also recall their last meeting with a certain fondness.
when Lisa messaged her that her visitor had arrived she made her way to the foyer to greet him. She liked Enders and his abilities, even if she could not convince him to join she was pretty sure she could get his help on a few things anyway and it would be good to see him again as it had been some time.
It occurred to her that she was not even sure what enders was up to anymore but it was much to late to worry about things like that. Instead she made her way through the foyer towards Enders.
The elusive crystal mutant sat on his now off motorcycle looking at the massive golden doors of the sanctuary in the warm October air. It had been several months since he had last been in New York City and like always it was a city in flux once again, this time now robotic police patrolled the streets with the mission of allegedly keeping the city safe. Reaching into his leather jacket he pulled out a pack of cigarettes and quickly lit one before stowing the pack again as he contemplated what he was being summoned to the sanctuary for. For the last several months Enders had left the chaotic city in an attempt to work his ways through his problems and just looking at the Marine it was clear he had been successful by his neatly trimmed beard, fresh set of blue jeans, clean black hooded sweatshirt and red undershirt and a pair of black boots.
The timing of Aura’s call was oddly coincidental to his return to the city that never sleeps and as he listened to the voicemail that first night he had spent in the city again he wondered if it was some sort of trap. While he and Aura had very similar goals and aspirations on the future of their kind which led to a mutual respect between the two, they were certainly not allies as their two methods diverged in one very important aspect. Aura’s wonton desire to destroy any who were not a mutant.
Finally stepping off the motorcycle Enders strode towards the massive golden doors to the Sanctuary, a place he hadn’t been in quite some time, and with a flick of his now smoked cigarette he pushed his way into the lobby of the vipers den. Having had spent some time living at the mutant asylum Enders was familiar with some of the staff and as he was greeted by Lisa he gave her a polite hello as he stuck his hands into the pockets of his black leather jacket and awaited the arrival of his summoner. As he saw the Pink Battle Princess turn a corner and make her way towards him he considered maybe putting a layer of protection on but didn’t assuming that they had at least enough respect for each other that if it came to a fight it would be on equal terms.
"I did, we have had some interesting times together" she said recalling their past work together. They had not exactly interacted frequently. Still the crystal mutant had certainly helped her in the past though mentally she reminded herself that they were more in the same place and time and thus able to help one another.
"Plus it is a dangerous world out there and many of our kind dissopear and are never again heard from. Some like ourself very capable of holding their own in combat. My friend Meld or example, an old partner in crime has been missing for quite some time as have others" she said sounding sad at the prospect many of them were likely dead.
"Then their is the META bot program, robots designed to hunt us down and or watch us then decided to take us into custody. The threats to our people increase by the week it would seem. Some madman also wishes for peace between mutant and human kind" she said pausing a moment before continuing. "By wiping both out entirely and starting over. Whats worse the idiots a mutant" she said unable to hide her disgust at the prospect.
"I will be frsnk, i need help in order to save our people" she said simply not wnating t mislead about her reasons for asking him here
