*Geist had no where to go, still new to NY he still hadnt built up enough connections to find out where Jaya had been taken. Then he remembered Murrey, a wisecracking snitch of a man, who not only happened to own a night club in Manhatten but also so recently had given Geist three 'muscle' jobs. Two of which went bad due to misinformation on Murrey's part. Geist soon travels to the club with all intention of interogating Murrey on the whos, whats, and wheres, hoping to find solid evidence in leading him to Jaya*
The sound of footsteps echoed through the darkened alley outside of a New York club scene. The sounds of dance muzick could faintly be heard pulsing along with the neon sign outside. "The Prism" Geist reading the neon sign aloud. "Hmmph, better than starting from scratch." And with that he approached the bouncer guarding the door, giving him a 'set to kill' look. There after the bouncer moved cautiously and entered the club. Geists' senses were soon consumed with an orgy of bass, rhythem, and a beyond real light show. Walking through the masses of raving people he came to the bar and pondered on his next move. Bust down the door to Murrey's office, which would bring security down on him pretty hard, knowing that Murrey would only higher the best as his personal body guards.. even mutants. OR he could make his presense known and ask for a meeting with him, However, Geist believed Murrey deserved no such curtesy. "So through the front gates i go *groan*.. Hey barkeep! ill have a Spaten! (Im gonna need it, thats for sure)" Leaning onto the counter he impatiently waited as his drink was enroute down the length of the bar, soon only inches away from his waiting hand..."
Isabel made her way slowly through the writhing mass of bodies in the club, occasionally giving someone a hard push in irritation. Sure she was only sixteen, but that was nothing a fake I.D. couldn't take care of, as well as a little... persuasion. She chuckled lightly to herself as she remembered the face of the bouncer at the door as well as some of the people standing outside when she had made it perfectly clear that she was no normal person. Yes it was reckless, but she could easily get lost in the crowd she was currently breaking away from.
Leaning up against the bar she ordered a ginger ale, having no interest in the alcoholic beverages the place had to offer. Once her drink was firmly in her hand she casually took a seat and sipped at the beverage, looking at the club's occupants with disinterest. One man however, did catch her eye. The one a few seats away from where she was seating, decorated in primarily black and purple. She could feel the little hairs on the back of her neck pricking as she looked at him, though she didn't really know why, couldn't put her finger on it. It was then that she could also feel a faint drop in temperature from only moments ago. She could not say it was uncomfortable, as the cold had never really bothered her. It was just noticeable.
"Rough night?" she asked casually as if she had known the man from somewhere before. She absentmindedly spun her cup slowly in her hands, pretending that her interest had not been perked by this person she had just spoken to.

.. the bottle of crisp Spaten made it safely to his hand, swooping it up and downing it in one motion. What looked to be mist, curtailed its way out of the neck of the bottle, just as he heard a faint sound.. a voice, a young girl's voice, barely if at all pertruded past the loud dance muzick in the room. Despite this Geist was surprisingly still able to hear her inquiry, and even mustered up a slight look over his shoulder in her direction, "Hmmmm? rough?? Actually this nites looking rather cozy, at least for a couple more minutes that is.. Hey barkeep, three more my friend." Taking another in his hand he downed it even quicker than the first, and continued on to the second one just before his nxt response.. "Other than that im just peachy, now is there something i can help you with miss.. watever yur name is" smirking slightly. "Because im really not in the position to be entertaining kids, so why dontcha go and find yourself a nice X-ed out tweaker, im sure there's plenty in here." And with that said the third beer was gone. He got up, turning away from the bar while leaning up against the bar stool, surveying the area for his obectives: security, murrey, and then the getaway.

Before the barkeep could take away Geist's glasses, Boribeth snatched them and downed what little was left in them. She then grabbed the free peanuts on the bar and quickly ate them. Having arrived in NY from Washington state, she quickly found that this was not the place for her. Technology was surrounding her at every turn and she had to force herself to stay calm. Her belly rumbled and she surveyed the bar for a left-over sandwich or other scrap. She had heard that NY was full of mutants, but so far she hadn't found one, which wasn't a surprise, because she didn't know how to spot one if her life depended on it.
Isabel's calm expression turned into a frown at this man's words. "You should be careful who you judge." she said, her voice calm, not trace of anger allowed to escape into her words. "I was just trying to make polite conversation." She stopped spinnig the half empty glass in her hands and placed it on the bar, no longer interested with the beverage.
"And for your information, I'm not just some kid in here looking for booze and drugs. I have no interest in the stuff." she said again, displeased with the way he had addressed her, having a strong dislike of being called a child or a kid. To her it was the same as being called week, which was one of the last things she considered herself to be. She turned in her seat, resting her ellbows and spine back against the bar, watching the swarm of dancers for a moment.

"me, Judge?" Geist exclaimed non-chalantly "Hey not that you dont look old enough to be in here, Im just saying whats true, its not easy to fool someone whos worked his fair share of club doors. I'd say your what, 16 maybe? Haha Im right huh? Anyway like i said before.. what the?.." Moving perturbly out of the way of a young woman who seemed confused and outta place. She began taking the mostly empty bottles of beer, of which the barkeep were about to remove, and scouring the bar for whatever food she could find. "Are you seriously scavenging for food... in a club??" Geist said with a sigh towards the native american looking girl. "Jeez, alright, whatever" and with that he placed 10 bucks on the bar table. "Hey barkeep, get her a couple drinks and a sandwich or somethn" gesturing for the young woman to take his seat. "Well it was a pleasure coming across all of you, but ive got some bizness to attend too.. oh and.." facing towards the pouty young woman who resented his earlier comments "As for you, you dont need to be here, like i said before this place caters to losers, and you dont look like one. So keep saying no to X, and maybe even go home. This is no place for any of us.." slightly turning his head up looking at the hung booth above the dance floor.. thats where he is. And now geist had to finish some bizness.

As Derrick watched those about him move their bodies to the intense brass music and turn their gaze from pulsing lightshow above, a small frown formed on his features. While many would consider the Brit to be extremely lucky in landing his position in the night club Derrick himself was less than satisfied.
When he had first asked for a job in the club Derrick had been asked his age. He had, of course lied, when he had not been able to produce any type of identification they had informed him that him, in a not so subtle way informed that his services were not required. After a quick dazzling light show Derrick had left the bouncer lying on the floor clutching crotch while he had gone inside to talk to the man upstairs.
The mans name had been Murrey. Once the he had found out Derrick was a mutant the man had insisted that derrick take the bar job, at reduced pay of course; since legally he shouldn’t be allowed to handle alcohol. Derrick hadn’t really had a lot of options at the time and since he didn’t particularly enjoy sleeping on the streets he had been forced to accept.
Looking up from the bar the light manipulating mutant cast his gaze towards the upper floors where he knew Murrey resided. ‘Bloody wanker’ he thought, Derrick had no real type of loyalty towards the man, if anything he was slightly pissed off that he was only being paid minimum wage for his job. ‘Still at least here those freaking psycho’s in trench coats can’t chase me here’.
“Hey barkeep! I'll have a Spaten!”
Breaking out of his thoughts for a moment, Derrick turned his attention towards the black haired man and giving a slight nod. There was one good thing about this job; he actually knew what he was doing, he had worked in his uncle’s bar for a year before he had moved to the states so he could mix quite a few of the styles. Mixing the different liquids together he completed the drink and then slid it down the bar to his latest customer. He then leaned back against the wall where the different drinks were held and was about to go back to his thoughts when a flash of green caught his eye. Twisting his head Derrick shifted his gaze. ‘What the hell is she doing here?’ he thought to himself with a small amount of curiosity. Seated at the bar was young girl dressed almost entirely in green, ‘there’s no way she’s any older that 17. Damn those bouncers are getting way too lazy, still not my problem.’ Even as he thought this though derrick found himself watching the girl as if he expected her suddenly do some amazing magic trick. As a result he ended up overhearing the conversation between the girl and the black haired man he had served earlier.
At some point during the two’s conversation a third figure walked up to the bar and discretely stole the remnants of Geist’s glass just as Derrick had been about to remove it. Just as he had been about to ‘politely’ tell the girl to bugger off or buy her own drink, Geist had stepped in and paid the British mutant the money to make the scavenging girl a sandwich.
Derrick had shaken his head at this act of kindness, ‘never would figured that guy for a bleeding heart’. Just as he had been about to head off for the food derrick noticed the so called ‘bleeding heart’ start his way off towards Murrey’s office. Against his better judgment he called out, “Hey mate! You don’t wanna head up there without an appointment”. This was true enough; Murrey seemed to be either rather cautious or extremely paranoid and kept enough armed staff on hand to take on a well sized gang, there were only two ways you could get into his office if he didn’t want you there, One was to carry enough cash to bribe his entire security team, the other was to make sure you had a S.W.A.T team right behind you when you came knocking, ‘a bunch of mutants might be able to break in, but what are the odds of that happening?’
"So I guess if i even cared about getting an appointment with him i'd come to you right? Haha Sorry but I wouldnt even dream of paying Murrey any form of respect, especially respect he's never earned himself. No, I think barging in there, fists flying is just the way to get what im looking for, saves time too.." And with a smock look on his face he turned his attention 180 just as an obviously strong looking brute of a man hovered behind him. "Hey Dere-lick, is this punk starting trouble? What did we tell you about letting the customers drink till there sloshed and angry, now I have a biligerant to deal with, moron." Geist was equally offended by the biligerant remark as he was sure the barkeep was of the name calling. Geist stood like a wall before the wanna be juggernaut and spoke definitively, "Aw dont worry, i came here pretty angry as it is."

Derrick sighed and rolled his eyes as he recognized the walking ape that was presently blocking Geist’s path. It was the same guy he had floored when he had first come looking for a job, needless to say the two didn’t get along.
Casually picking up one of the thicker shot glasses Derrick glanced at it for a moment before retrieving a grey cloth from underneath the bar, he then proceeded to clean the glass as he talked. “Mike, you disappoint me; I thought a gorilla such as yourself would’ve realized that I won’t take any shit from you, or maybe you like the idea of singing soprano for the rest of your life?” He paused in his clearing and stared at the glass in thought for a moment before he apparently came to a decision. ‘Eh, I didn’t like working here anyway’, abruptly Derrick’s arm shot forward as he launched the shot glass at the bouncers head and then placed on hands on the bar as he vaulted over it.
Mike managed to lean to the right just before the glass connected with his skull. His head turned to follow the projectile as it soared through the air and smashed against a concrete wall, however due to the loud music and intense light show no one else noticed anything out of place. A snarl formed on the bouncers features as he turned his head back to the barkeep, only to be faced with the image of Derrick’s feet flying at his face as he performed a flying dropkick. The blow knocked Mike clean off his feet and he fell heavily onto his back.
Before the man could get back onto his feet Derrick casually strode over to his prone form with his hands in his pockets. “Well Mike, I hope you enjoy your new career in the choir.” He then raised his left foot behind him before slamming it into the bouncer’s groin. The bouncers’ eye’s crossed he let out a brief high pitched scream as he squirmed on the floor.
Derrick allowed a small smirk to form on his features as he watched Mike squirm on the floor. ‘And another one bites the dust, duh, duh…’ Derrick wasn’t usually this violent; in fact he normally preferred to turn tail and run when he could, but everyone had their limits and for Derrick that had been working with incompetent thugs who didn’t seem to know which end of their fist was which and working for the biggest bastard of an employer he had ever met and putting up with both factors for a total of two weeks.
Satisfied that he had left a lasting impression on squirming bouncer Derrick quickly hopped back over the bar and proceeded to load various alcoholic bottles into his backpack. As he was doing this he directed his attention towards Geist, “if by any chance your going to give that asshole Murrey a bloody beating I’d like to come along. Names Derrick Brice by the way and I'd suggest we get a move on.”

When the shotglass was thrown past her face, Boribeth reacted instinctively, her body smoothly changing into a raven. She flew up to the lights above, and perched there, looking down at the commotion. As the bouncer writhed on the ground, Boribeth pooped on his head, to add insult to injury. She then flew down and landed on Geist's shoulder, her jet black eyes staring straight into the eyes of Derrick.
Isabel raised an eyebrow slightly when she discovered the bartender looking at her curiously, though her attention was soon grabbed away by a large, overconfident bouncer. She couldn't repress a small laugh at the sight of the big ape of a man writhing on the ground in pain. She knew her laughter was not likely to be heard over the loud throbbing of the music, and therefore didn't mind expressing her amusement.
Once again her attention was snatched from the scene when the flash of bluish black feathers caught her eye. So the girl rooting around for a meal was a mutant, obviously a shape-shifter. She smiled lightly at the girl's chosen form as she perched on her earlier acquaintance's shoulder. Isabel had always liked ravens, her interest in dark objects having developed since childhood.
"I don't mind helping out either." she piped in, her posture still relaxed as she remained leaning against the bar top. "I may not look like much, but you'd be surprised. I can tell you right now that most of this Murrey fellow's body guards couldn't even get near me." she gave another smile, this one more mischievous that the previous one. Isabel still had a few tricks up her sleeve, and she was just itching to show off.

"First of all Derrick, this is not a field trip, recruitment drive, OR a nightly outing. No, this my friend is bizness. Bizness that does not in any way concern you. And second of all.." gently shooing away the raven from his shoulder whilst it changes back to its orignal form before him. "..I dont need the help of an ex-barkeep, a young woman, and a zoo girl! Last thing i need is to be a chaperone to a group of misfits. So why dont you folk, how do you say?.. sod off!" Geist had been in some worse moods before but now he was bent up on both Beer and the undying will to save his kidnapped friend. But evenmore he knew he didnt mean what he said back there, no matter how intoxicated he was. Truth was any help at all would have been a godsend, not to say that what the young woman in green had said about the muscle around here was wrong. Just that she couldnt of possibly have known of Murrey's private entourage he keeps on hand in his office, nor could she be ready to face such an enemy unless she was ready for a real fight.
Geist turned away from the assembled group of volunteers and made his way thru the crowd of ravers that stood between him and a staircase leading up to his final destination. En route he was met by 3 ordinary bouncers with instructions to get rid of 'the purple haired freak'. One of the bouncers lunged at him in which Geist responded with a knee to his jaw and a quick burn "sorry my friend.. oh wait, im not sorry at all." Just then one of the other bouncers came up from behind and with his massive forarm came down onto Geist, only to have himself slip through Geist like air. "tsk tsk, attacking from behind? not that i believe in honor, but man you definitely deserve my size 11's up your behind" slighly chuckling. However without hesitation or finesse the third bouncer came in for his attack, Geist lil less than poised to intercept..
A small frown fell upon Isabel's features as she glared at this stranger's back as he retreated. That was the second time he had upset her with his words, and it had made her angry even though she knew it really shouldn't have fazed her. The three of them were only trying to offer their assistance and this drunken fool snaps at them.
She crossed her arms, pushing her body away from the bar as she watched the stranger retreat up the stairs on his way to Murrey's office only to be met by a small group of bouncers. Taking up a slow pace she followed behind him at a fair distance, determined not to let some stranger push her around. She wasn't surprised that this man could put up a fight, but what did catch her attention was when the second bouncer slid right through the purple haired man's form as if he were made of mist.
She sighed lightly when she noticed the third ape of a man barreling in for an attack on the stranger. Isabel could clearly see that her intoxicated acquaintance was in no favorable position to fend off the attack and therefore decided to step in. From her position a short ways from the bottom of the stairs, she put her hand to her shoulder and grasped her hand around a small white knob that had appeared from her skin. Pulling on the protrusion, she easily produced a short dagger of bone. With one short motion of her arm, she released the weapon and pinned the large bouncer to the wall by the fabric of his shirt near to his left shoulder. She could see a small dribble of blood spatter the wall. The bone must have grazed his muscle and punctured his skin. Quickly she repeated the action, the second dagger grabbing up the fabric on the right side of his shirt.
With a small smirk she made her way up a few steps toward the man in black and purple. "Isabel Duskmoor, bone manipulator. At your service." she said, giving a slight bow, her smirk still firmly in place as she looked up at the man, enjoying the chance she had to prove that she was no pushover.

The bouncer winced in pain from the well thrown bone daggers that now pinned him to the wall. Now feeling the alcohol hit him even harder, Geist reared his right arm back and layed a heavy blow into the bouncers face, in retaliation to his failed attack. "Bast*rd! coming from my blindspot huh? that'll teach ya to fight fair, Haha!" chuckling lightly as he turned to Isabel, "Ok, okay, you've proven to be tough as nails.. or bone." flicking at the dagger nob that still pertruded from the bouncers shoulder. "Maybe you can be of some help.. What did you say your name was?.. Izabell Dusk-moore?? Haha well unless you have any qualms with it I'll call you Dusk" And with that he marched forward up the stairs until he reached the office door. The door was made strong and even worse could only be opened from the inside. Geist slowly approached and began ghosting through the door, but not before he once again turnd towards Dusk, "By the way, they call me Geist. And unless your names shadowcat your gonna have to stay out here till i open it from the other side. Tell Brice that if he still wants to help that he can bring along a bottle of Skyy vodka while he's at it." Glancing over at the ex-barkeep as he was still in motion with his plunder. "Now if you would excuse me.." geist now completely ghosted through the door, leaving the assortment of volunteers o the lights and sounds of the dance hall.
Murrey's office was not well lit with the only light coming in from windows that surrounded the room letting in light from the club. Nor was it well furnished, and sadly the door appeared to have no handle on this side either. There only appeared to reside a heavy regal desk at the other end of the room with a large arm chair to accompany it. In this chair sat Murrey, with his usual half smile and deceitful look upon his face. Murrey raised his arms up in the air as a welcoming gesture while he spoke, "Geist! so happy to see you my friend. How goes bizness, doing alright since our last run in? I truly hope so, oh and about the door.." Geist angerly interupted him, "Cut the bull- Murrey!! I didnt come here for excuses or for your annoyingly false good nature. I have questions 'my friend', and im not leaving until those questions have been answered, understand?" Murrey bellowed out a confident and unnerved laugh that filled the room, Murry being a big shot only when the cards seem to bein his favor,"Haha oh Geist, always with the jokes, i mean even if i had the answers you seek what makes you think im gonna indulge you, hmm? Even more if anything were to happen to me how else would you gain the knowledge that your looking for? How I see it is that your straight outta luck kido, Haha! And if your looking to get that door opened as well i suggest you rip it from my cold dead hands cause your not leaving here alive.." Suddenly outta the shadows four figures appeared, obviously mutants, and in no way pushovers.
Geist had werked with a couple of them before and had heard much about the rest from werkn the underground scene. One of them posessed some power over glass, another could transform into a were-wolf like creature, and still another had a bone structure that acted like a tuning fork that could channel and blast sound at a target. The last one had some form of telekinesis that affected all physical matter, she was the most dangerous of all for anything that came into her path would be at her whim like a doll bein torn to pieces. Even with these threats presented before him, Geist simply spit to his right as a smirk surfaced on his face.. "Well then Murrey If i cant get what i need from you then I'll beat you into a coma and ask someone else, only came to you cause something tells me you have a part in all this. You know where she is and im gonna find out where!.." standing up straight with gusto. "Aww did we lose something now? Well Geist for once ill be honest with you. Im sad to say that im not the culprit here, only the middle man my friend. And as for your problems, its now the problem of most mutants everywhere.. none of your kind who merely prance about are safe. Not even you.." Geist raised his voice once more in lite of Murrey's words, "This is your only chance.. Where is she!!" But murrey gave no response, only leaning back in his chair with a grin, confident of his body gaurds. "Have it your way", and with that charged at the telekinetic mutant, begining his assault.
((so yeah bust in whenever, just have fun with it and be creative on how you get it in and the fight. Just cuz its a no handle bulky door doesnt mean it cant come down somehow. Wasnt there something about windows to peace))

Hearing Geist’s reply Derrick just shook his head and continued ‘liberating’ various bottles from their shelves. ‘Ungrateful prick, try to lend a helping hand…’. As his pack started to get full Derrick found himself having to be more selective in his choices. ‘Hmmm, now do I want the brandy or the rum? Screw it, I’ll have the Jack Daniels can’t go wrong there, now what about vodka?’
A fight at the staircase broke the ex-barkeep out of his thoughts as he turned his attention back to Geist just in time to see one of the bouncer’s go clear through the mutants body. Derricks eyes widened in shock for a moment before returning to normal, ‘Now that’s something you don’t see every day’. Quickly shruggin it off he returned his attention to his previous task and added a few bottles of vodka to his steadily growing collection, ‘tonight is going to be a very good night indeed’.
His attention was once again shifted away from his plundering when he noticed his Isabel push away from the bar and then, almost casually, withdraw a protruding piece of bone from elbow before leisurely flicking her wrist and tossing the bone weapon towards a third body guard causing the man to become pinned to a nearby wall. This action was quickly repeated to prevent the bouncer from freeing himself. Isabel then waltzed over to Geist with a smug expression, leaving behind a deadpan Derrick, ‘is everyone a mutant these days?’ shaking his head in exasperation he was about to go back to his plundering when he noticed three additional bouncers enter the club from a back entrance and two from the front and each of them appeared to be focused on the pillaging ex-barkeep. ‘I think I’ve overstayed my welcome’. Quickly zipping his bag closed he slung it over his shoulder, wincing slightly when he heard the bottles clang against each other. Vaulting over the bar once again he turned to Boribeth and gestured to their pursuers, “The management doesn’t seem overly thrilled with our behavior, so I’d suggest we both take our leave.” Without waiting for a reply Derrick pivoted on his feet and sped through the dancing crowd towards the stair case, after all there was safety in numbers. That and the fact that Murrey’s safe contained the majority of the clubs profits, both legal and otherwise, either one of the funds would be enough to ensure the British mutant an extremely relaxed lifestyle for quite some time.
As Derrick reached the top of the stairs he arrived just in time to see the back of Geist’s head fade completely through a rather durable looking door that led straight into Murrey’s office. Shifting his attention to Isabel his voice took on a slightly jovial tone he didn't really feel as he asked, “I don’t suppose you can make a skeleton key?”
