Voltaire wandered into the bar that had a sign out : Mutants Only. He entered the bar completly covered by his coat with his hood hiding his face. His coat hid all his weaponery and the suit he was wearing. His footsteps echoed through the half empty bar. He ordered a glass of scotch and sat down at a table in the corner where he could see the entrance. Voltaire was here to meet Syn, to apoligze for 10 years earlier. He hoped that his card got to her in time not that it was hard to miss. One of her guards hanging from a streetlight with a post it on his forehead wasn't one of his brightest idea's but he thought syn would see the humor of it. Time at the military base changed him forever and he saw Syn's point more clear now and he needed to have medical attention. He couldn't just walk into a normal hospital so he hoped that Syn would cooperate and let him get some bullets removed and some cuts stitched up. He wondered what happened to the outside world over the past 10 years. What had happened to everyone he knew and even what happened to the mansion. He drank his scotch and waited with his hands on the table softly tapping it and thinking of how he was going to pick his life up again after disappearing for 10 years.

The sticky note found by Syn did not make her smile. In fact the woman killed the guard on the spot. If he couldn't handle himself well enough to fend off his attacker then he was of no use. Whoever was responsible was in for a rough time unless the Dark Queen's mood changed.
Arriving at the the designated location depicted on the note Syn dispatched Velocity to the rear of the building. In less than a blink of an eye she was gone. Turning to Whisper the second girl nodded. A sign that she was ready for a possible trap.
The front door opened and Whisper stepped inside first. Most of the mutants that were there immediately knew who had entered. They also knew that when Whisper or Velocity were around Syn was nearby. A few of the occupants looked down into their drinks or at the floor, but all sudden'y became very quiet as Syn stepped in behind Whisper. Holding up the note the woman surveyed the room. "I'm looking for the one who left this note."

Syn came in the bar and made a big scene trying to scare everybody in the bar. She did a good job but probably because everybody knew her work. So did Voltaire. He read her file and he knew what she has been up to the last 10 years or so. The goverment liked keeping tabs on possible or known terrorists.
Holding up the note the woman surveyed the room. "I'm looking for the one who left this note."
Voltaire's plan worked perfectly. It was actually a bulletproof plan because she would enjoy or hate it and that is a win/win situation for him. Voltaire softly laughed as he stood up from his seat at shot his last drink down his throat. "What's the matter, don't remember me?" He said with a grin that could be seen from under his hood just like the metal jaw part of his suit that was revealed this way.

Syn and Whisper's eyes locked onto a male figure that stood up. Even though Whisper couldn't hear what was being said she could make out a smile on the man's partially hidden face. Syn looked the man over but no bells rang. "It would seem that if we met at some point it was either too briefly or wasn't worth remembering." The Dark Queen wasn't here to play games. She wanted answers.
