Character's real name: Sara Nobes
Codename/Alias: WereCat. Some people shorten it to Were.
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Nationality/Ethnicity: It’s hard to tell under all that fir but when she was younger she people had said she looked like a little Swedish girl. That was before she took on the half feline form that will be explained in her history.
Birthplace: She believes she was born in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula but she has no physical evidence to back her theory up.
Personality:
Sara has the type of personality that makes her either one’s best friend when she is treated with respect, or one’s worst sarcastic, vindictive, enemy. When confronted with a, said, foe, she’ll still be apt to try and walk away unless that enemy just pushes her pride too far. She is also known for being stubborn. When she puts her mind to something it better get done.
Notes (Hobbies, Phobias, Worries, ect.):
Sara is an artist. She likes to draw using anything she can find and is known for being able to sketch a person she’s met by memory. She’s also known for enjoying knitting, crochet, and macramé. Because of her acute sense of smell, she also enjoys kitchen work.
Being that she can’t exactly walk into a store and buy what ever she wants, Sara has become an accomplished thief and a pickpocket. Getting most of her food and belongings through theft.
As far as phobias, she shys away from large croups of people. You could call that stage fright due to the fact she would attract attention in a crowd. She’s not even that fond of smaller gatherings. She also doesn’t like being trapped in smaller spaces, claustrophobia. Sara worries she will be caged again
Allegiance (Good, Bad, or Neutral): She will start out as neutral. As time goes on I want her to join a team but I want it to be based on her acquaintances. So I can’t say what team she will end up in. If the past repeats it’s self it will probably be x-men.
Everyday clothing: Sara does her best to hide her body form in public. As a result she is often seen in an, oversized, hooded sweatshirt or leather coat. Under the coat, she tends to lean towards tank tops. As far as pants go, it is what ever is comfortable. Jeans, cargos, what ever she feels like. Her shoes would be over sized boots to compensate for her oddly shaped feet.
Uniform (Optional. Required if eventually becoming part of the X-Men): Her uniform would consist of black leather with reddish brown leather accents The top is a, padded, vest. A belt holds her sais to her hips and a couple of smaller compartments to hold things like lock picks and other tools based on what she is doing. The pants are leather as well, sewn close to allow her to move. She uses her toes too much that her shoes would have to be more like sandals. Allowing her foot to flex and her clawed toes to be free, while still protecting the ankle and top part.
Pajamas: Anything with softer fabric. Probably light sweat pants and another tank top. Nothing too fancy
Hair color and style: Blond all over. Really all over. The longer hairs where every one else’s hair would be on their head and the shorter hairs that cover her body every where else. Including her tail.
Eye color: a light tanny brown best described as amber.
Height: 6'2''
Build: Sara is built like a gymnast. Well fit and ment to move.
Scars: she has a brand on the back of her right shoulder blade with a coed number 0623. To get around her healing condition the brand had to be reburned several times before in permanently cut into her.

Description of ability(ies):
The short description if her abilities is that she is a half cat with a healing factor that could giver her a huge amount of stamina. Letting her keep going until she finally gets hit hard enough.
The half cat side of Sara should be self explanatory. Her sense of smell and hearing is heightened. While she sees things as one normally would her sight is also highly based on movement. Often drawing her attention and causing her to make a fast reaction. Proving to be both an advantage and a disadvantage. Her thick fur provides some protection against falls and scrapes and her long tail is a natural advantage to an already well developed balance. O and who could forget those claws. Great for being used as general tools or natural, organic, knifes in combat.
Her healing factor works a little bit differently then Normal descriptions. When she heals it takes her a few minutes rather then instant. More serious injuries like broken bones could take a few hours depending on the severity. In order to heal her body has to take already stored nutrients and turn that to fuel for healing. This means that her metabolism burns through food like crazy, making her have to eat.
Cons (weaknesses) of ability(ies):
The fact that her eye sight is based highly on movement can make her distracted at the wrong time. Also her sensitive hearing can be hurt if she’s not expecting a sound. Also her sense of smell can be blocked if another character is smoking around her.
Her healing ability can be over come if someone has the stamina to keep up with her long enough. Being that her body takes nutrients from her to work that ability, she could work her self to nothing more then a living skeleton, just skin, bone, and fur, before she would finally collapse, depending on the severity of her injuries.
There are also times that she will let her emotions get in the way of what she is doing. She will let the compassion be a distraction that can take her off of the path she desires.
First mutation growth: Sara’s body is in some form of constant regeneration. While this healing factor can not regrow lost limbs or fingers, it does keep it’s self reinforcing her body. Building denser tissue in her muscles, witch accounts for the recent growth in her strength stats, and allows her cartilage to keep up with all of her activity.
Sara doesn’t know it, but her body has also been developing her brain. Particularly the tissues around the frontal lobe. Sara has always been good at tracking people and things by her sense of smell, but slowly a sixth sense will be introducing it’s self into her conscious mind. A sense that tracks by psychic wave patterns left behind by people.
Sara will soon be able to tell who has passed an area, without using her nose, based on the vibes they leave behind. As time goes on she will be able to get a small sense of the emotion that the person was experienced, and intent, however this will mix with her own thoughts enough she will have trouble deciphering what is the psychic vibrations, and what is her own. This will also include picking up objects and getting a sense of how they were used. For instance, if Sara were to pick up a weapon, that was wielded by someone before, she may get the sense of how to hold the weapon right. how it should move, like reading a book on the weapon, but reading and actually performing are two different things.
Another example of Sara’s new ability is if she picks up someone else’s pen or pencil, she may have the sudden desire to hold it the way that person held it. Though her writing would not be as neat as it usually is and she could get frustrated.
First Mutation Growth Weakness: What if the brain only taps into the five senses because it can only handle five senses at once. Records to talk about how most humans only use a small percentage of the brain, and it is a muscle. Muscles compensate all of the time, for changes in terrain, or injuries, so it makes sense that the brain would compensate by manipulating the easiest sense of Sara's that the brain can turn off. Her eye sight.
Like when Sara's eyes dilate, to take in more action and catch more movement, her pupils would contract to thin slits. So thin that she would only see things like what a camera sees when the F stop is too small, and the shutter speed is too fast. Rendering Sara blind when she first starts kicking into this ability.
Fighting style (if any):
With Sara, if it works, it gets thrown into the mix of moves. She will tend to rely heavily on basic martial arts, Throw in a few slashes with her claws, and then if she feels like it, a couple of gymnastics. The weapons she’s managed to get her claws on consist of a set of sai, a katana, and set of throwing knives. She wont use those unless she needs to do so.
History of your character:
Sara believes that she was born in Michigan’s upper peninsula. Unfortunately she has no one who can confirm that for a fact. Not even a birth certificate. Least not one she has seen.
It will never be known what happened to her parents or if they were a part of what she was forced to go through. She figures all of that mess is in the past. All she needs to do it go forward but I’ll tell you about her child hood since this is the history area.
Sara didn’t always look the way she does now. She use to look like every other child hooked up to endless machines, shaved head, and a brand with the numbers 0623 burned into the back of her right shoulder.
From her first memory to the time she was 8 her body was used for tests. Maybe it was because she could heal. Maybe she developed the healing ability because of the tests and experiments. Again she doesn’t know. When she turned 8 was when they started giving her an education. They taught her the basics. Math, reading, history, then they turn around at inject her with more crap. This practically disintegrated any trust she’d developed for her captors.
3 long years later she was laying on her side in the far corner of her cell. They’d given her a break from the machinery for once. It was then that her body transformed. Her bones cracked forming a new structure, Her fingernails pinched closer to claws and her flesh sprouted fur. The most painful part had been her tail. It had felt like her spine was being stretched and constricted at the same time. Sara would never see the true color of her skin again.
The next morning the guards had forced her out of her cell. She was being moved to a new complex. On the way she managed to free herself from her confines and escape the agency.
For the first time in her life she had been able to experience what life was supposed to be like. She had a taste of freedom and a chance to see how humans were supposed to treat humans. She also saw how they treated other mutants. Over time, these two sights and bases of knowledge have created a tug of war between what she has experienced in her past and what she wants to experience now. Piece.
The question is how to go about getting what she wants now.
Sample RP:
Sara lazily leaned against the side of an old abandoned apartment complex. The hood of her faded sweatshirt pulled tightly against the back of her head so that the hem would better conceal her feline face. The alley she was standing in hadn’t shone many signs of life. As a result leaving Sara to get board. Not necessarily a bad thing, but still.
Her right paw like hand lifted to her mouth when she began chewing one the index claw. A slender, scale like piece pulled away, between her teeth, and she turned her head sideways to spit it out, where the minute shard hit the light only to disappear under the shadows of the grass.
There might as well of been a world against her, hunting her down. Her kind down and all she could do was sit tight. Sit tight and bite her nails. If there was a more worthless feeling, she hadn’t found it yet.

In following what other people have done here is a list of the threads Sara has been involved in since I’ve come to this site. I’m sure this list will grow slowly. I try to put some order to them.
Just adding a few pictures of WereCat to help people with her visual description. I will say that her design has changed here and there through the years I've been drawing her. For instance. *Flinches at the ears and jowls in the first picture. I need to do different head shots of her.
Much better face here, but it still needs some work.
New Abilities-Sara has been able to develop fast muscle reactions to match her fast, instincts. Something she realized when helping to restrain those infected with Haywire. Because of her healing ability her muscles would be able to take more punishment when it comes to her speeding herself up. A fast reaction or motion from Sara would be a flash of a blur to the normal eye. Often, if Sara did choose to strike someone, they wouldn’t even realize that they were being hit.
Weaknesses to this ability-Sara can not straight out run fast. While her muscles will have developed, they will not have developed enough to move her entire body at lightening speed. Her movement is not so fast it is invisible so it does not work if Sara is out in the open and is trying to hide that she is doing something, Unless she is practicing slight of hand. Slight of hand that she already knows from her days as a thief, but that is not foolproof. And finally as a weakness, Sara’s body must already be loose to work. Like any athlete, if her muscles are not ready to perform by stretching, they wont work as well.
Sara’s new look—Sara now can look like she has, long blond hair, that is the color of the hair and fur she already has. Her skin is light peach, and her eyes are her normal amber. Sara’s new look is in thanks to a permanent illusion courtesy of Katrina.
Sara’s illusion, has it’s own weaknesses, While it displays her as a human, and allows her a choice for the first time in her life, to display her mutation, Sara still has to make sure her tail doesn’t knock things over. The illusion is imprinted onto a locket. For the illusion to work, Sara must have part of the locket, touching her skin.
Sara’s Future-- Sara has felt trapped in between for a long time. There was a want to do right and a voice that kept asking her what the point was for a long time. As a result, she ended up looking out for number one. No one would hire an employ that looked like a cat so, she learned how to steal. Stealing was easy and if she wasn’t stealing for herself, it wasn’t hard to find people that would hire her to steal what they wanted because the internet was such a beautiful tool to use that way.
Threw this type of work, Sara learned how to scramble security net works, thanks to her boy friend Ayesac, along with a number of general computer skills she didn’t have before.
Slowly, Sara stopped taking theft jobs. Choosing to work back to what she wants. A sort of piece, but how to get the piece was still a question that needed to be answered. The point was, her being a mutant, and being a thief, were two things she wasn’t proud of. It was best to narrow that count down to one things she wasn’t proud of.
Five years into the future, Sara meets back up with Katrina (Mother too?) and Sara makes a wish in front of the teen. Sara wishes to have a choice to look human. To have a chance at things she just hadn’t had a chance at before. Katrina made Sara an illusion just for herself. To make her look human. Katrina would never know how that gift would ever effect the feline.
So a new girl was on the block, and her name was Sara Nobes. No one knew that this Sara Nobes had any connection with A feline Sara. Not unless they could see through Katrina’s illusion or unless they were told. So that left everyone else on earth to have a choice. With. Of being old Sara or new Sara. Of course New Sara needed to earn money because that’s what normal humans do. They earn money or become bums on the street. Flipping burgers didn’t keep Sara’s interest, and Sara didn’t trust herself with other people’s money. There was a number of odd jobs Sara had for her first year out in the open without fear.
Sara settled on a career of becoming a bond enforcement officer. No… Not a bounty hunter…. A bond enforcement officer. (Yeah they are the same thing.) This job gave her flexibility of time, it worked towards her new way of finding peace, and there were few job requirements. Including but not just the fact that Sara didn’t have a highschool diploma let alone any proof of education. The bonding agency was basically happy Sara wasn’t afraid to step in front of a loaded gun, and was able to live to get her job done. They didn’t ask her a lot of questions and she didn’t give a lot of answers.
Through Sara’s work at the bonding agency, she made a couple of contacts in the police, and was called in a couple of times as a forensic artist. Because of the circumstances, most of the police officers in the department looked down on Sara for not actually being a cop, but she’s use to ignoring persecution. Who cared. They were allowed their own opinion
Because of her connection with Katrina, what with needing to get her illusion renewed every now and then, Sara began working with PAX as well.
