The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

What a drag... David had just gotten a job at Ghost's book store, and the two of them were on their way there when a bad thunderstorm rolled through. The rain came down in loud thuds, ringing on The umbrella David was holding for the two of them. Yes spring was coming soon, and the whether was showing it, still better then snow... right?
Well despite the weather David's spirit was high, he had just gotten a job, and with that comes money to help fund his inventing. It seemed other people were having surprisingly good days as well, because the park still had a decent amount of people around. "Sure is coming down hard." David said peeking his head out from under the umbrella, accidentally tilting it away from her.
A loud crackle of thunder fixed that though. David nearly jumped out of his skin at the sound "I hate thunder!" He said in embarrassment, it was like someone was trying to ruin his good mood. "So what made you want to open a book store?" He asked.
Meanwhile though that thunder was a sign of danger. The lightning which preceded it did not simply strike harmlessly in the city, no it clipped a helicopter flying through. The electricity which flowed through fried it's controls and damaged the tail, causing it to lose control and start falling down to earth. The pilots struggled to keep control, sailing over buildings, the radio wouldn't work and their was no safe place to land. The copilot decided the best thing to do was head towards the park, telling the passengers in back to buckle up.
In the park though, things still seemed normal, innocent people enjoyed whatever they could of the day. Nobody suspected that a flying brick was headed their way, filled with panicking people.

The rain , the beautiful rain had invited him to walk once more beneath her thousand of caresses. he had accepted grateful, there was a few strong rains before but this one seemed to would end in ferous storm, the sparks of the lightnings ilumined the sky at various locations announced by the hear of a thunder a few seconds later. His faithful companion was with him at this time, his beloved yellow Raincoat he had used many times to protect himself from the rain and to see her beauty.
the child put off the hood and lift the head to look at the sky,he enjoyed the thousands of drops hitting his face. Each one of them reminded him of how beautiful life could be despite the hard times. a thunder howled above the murmur of the rain. something in the sky terrified the boy , his face rapidly changing from a smile of joy to a crooked grin, a mixture of disbelief and terror. a helicopter was passing over the center park when unfortunately was beaten by one of the lightning that occurred almost immediately after the last roar. the tail was on fire, the helicopter was losing control. the pilots were trying to fall hopelessly without harm . Why there was so many people on a rainy day? Fausto shook her head in a gesture of denial and began running in the direction that the helicopter was headed, he must run and try to help the people below the helicopter in the little time he had . the pilot would try to land in a safe place. safe for them, because people was not been aware of its imminent fall. the child take off his raincoat and the threw it to the side, it did not allow him to run well.
The helicopter headed to the next group of trees . ¨Hey look at the sky! run run run! there is no time I ¨ it was difficult to make the people hear with all the noise of the storm but he started to run into the different couples to aware them of the danger . many people were there just standing without understand what the boy tried to say . ntil one of those stupid standing there lifted his head to look what the boy was talking about and saw a large object in fire falling rapidly towards them. the panic gripped the people but at least that made them move faster. All ran uncontrollabled in different directions but luckly they were moving away from there. the child desperatly took his cell phone, the rain pounding the screen made it difficult to read but it did not matter he had to press only 3 numbers. the communication failed by the storm no one but twice before he could communicate ¨¨there is a fire in central park west, north meadow. quicky come here, this isn't a joke ¨ he didnt worry about saying anything else, he closed his cellphone quickly and put it in the backpack and continued helping the people to run aways . some people were still there in a hurry when the helicopter touch the first trees that surrounded the place.it gonna crash at any time with the rest of the trees.
First day truly away from home and she found herself walking through the city streets of New York city. She had heard a lot about this place on the news and in her school but she never pictured it would feel this way. She felt small and insignificant being over towered by the large buildings and even some strangely tall people she wouldn't encounter back in the small town in Nova Scotia where she was from. Deep in thought it was easy to lose sense of direction and it seemed she wandered into Central Park district. Central park she decided was like the Oasis of New York.
She feels a small splash on her face after a drop of water hit her shoulder and she looked up, dark clouds began to gather above the city. "I can't even escape bad weather in New York" she thinks to herself as the rain quickly picked up. She walked into an electronics store to escape the rain temporarily. Then the sound of thunder behind her and she jumped, not expecting it to have been that loud if at all. Suddenly the rain became a downpour and the man behind the counter spoke to her "pretty bad storm is coming, might be a long one too and you don't want to get stuck out here". She turned to the man and moved her bangs away from her face "I'm going to call a taxi soon"
The faint sound of spinning propellers got her attention and she peeked out the window as a helicopter turned a corner into her view. A flash of lightning hit Central Park and hit the tail of the helicopter causing it to burst into flames. She watched as the helicopter went into a tailspin and crowds of people run in fear of it's inevitable crash. She predicted where it would crash and sees that there were people still in the way. She ran out the door into tons of fleeing and screaming people. Trying to run toward the people still in danger she almost got knocked down by people running in the opposite direction.
As the helicopter clipped the tops of some tall trees but stayed above ground longer than she thought she had time she changed her course and phased right through the large crowd of running people. She got close enough and yelled to them "move out of the way, it's going to crash where you are standing!" but they didn't move. "What is wrong with these people" she thought to herself as the realization came to her that if she didn't do something, no one else would. Against her will she ran to the people seconds before the helicopter hit the ground just 10 meters from where they were standing and rolled right over top of them too quickly for them to react in time.
The helicopter came to a stop in amongst some trees, still burning in a flammable area. The two guys that were standing close to the crash site with a camera hoping to get a good shot of the helicopter when it crashed opened their eyes and they were ok. She too opened her eyes and let go of their hands, she had phased the two men and herself right through the helicopter. Before her legs even stopped shaking she noticed that people started to gather and she backed up into the crowd that started to engulf them.
She picked up her walking speed through the park and avoided the police, firemen, and the ambulances that showed up on the scene. She dodged a crowd of news reporters stopping people to ask them about the crash. As she approached a phone booth, she opened it and closed the door behind her. She leaned against the wall, shut her eyes and sighed loudly before picking up the phone to call for a taxi.
Poor David's pant's legs were getting wet and it was all Ghost's fault. She just couldn't help but hop in them every once in a while. Honestly, what else were puddles for? David seemed a bit paranoid with the storm, but it never bothered her, not even when David jumped and the fat droplets fell on her upturned face. Not even she she saw a trail of smoke attached to a fast falling helicopter.
"So what made you want to open a book store?"
"David!" She grabbed his shoulder and pulled him toward the park suddenly. "We're not gonna make it...!" She ran as fast as her legs would allow, but the dread was building in the pit of her stomach. They weren't gonna make it. So she poofed, accidentally taking David's shirt with her in her haste to change into her incorporeal state.
She was wind and strength and panic. The chassis of the helicopter was heavy! It had too much velocity! The wind whipped and roiled through the trees as she fought against the weight of the helicopter. It slowed. It slowed considerably, but she was unable to keep it from pitching nose-first into the ground. It hesitated there for a moment as she changed the direction of the wind to steady the body of the air craft a bit too late.
The helicopter wobbled and then fell over almost in slow motion. Ghost was surprised to perceive some people appearing from where the helicopter had actually impacted the ground. Where had they...? Oh but the people in the helicopter! Had she slowed it enough?
The mist of Ghost's incorporeal body condensed and reformed, her toes touching down to the grass. Toes? Aw man, her shoes! Maybe David picked them up. She stayed a safe distance from the helicopter and instead created voids of air around the tail end of the chopper to extinguish the fire. Someone from inside kicked at the door to the helicopter, but the metal was crumpled and warped shut so their kicking was not enough to free the survivors. But she was working as fast as she could to make it safe for her to approach the helicopter!
Ghost's response was not what David expected, he expected her to simply answer the question, but instead she seemed to freak out. He was pulled toward the park, the wind pulling the umbrella right out of his hands. "Ghost what are you -" He answered his own question when he looked up. A crashing helicopter.
"Oh my god" He muttered as Ghost pulled him along. He started running along side her, not sure of what he could do to stop something like that. He could spot Some others trying to clear the area, trying to save those on the ground. Suddenly ghost disappeared, taking his shirt with her, "Ghost?!" He yelled as he nearly tripped over her shoes.
He picked her shoes up and started sprinting, using the timing the pressurized air in his shoes to speed him up. The helicopter started to slow, and David realized ghost must have been doing whatever she did best, but it wasn't enough to completely stop it. The crashed hulk of metal was about to crush some other innocents, and no matter how hard David ran he couldn't help them. The wreckage rolled over them, but they were fine. David wasn't sure what he had just seen, He could have sworn they were it, and now one of them was running off.
Regardless of what happened David had to get to the wreckage. He spotted Ghost as she re appeared, he tossed he shoes towards her and kept on running, sprinting to the helicopter. "I'll get to you." He said as he reached the downed chopper. The helicopter's rotor was embedded into the ground in front of him, leaving a deep rivet across the grass. "Now what?" He he said as he thought of any possible way to get the people out.

Almost all the civilian were evacuated , Fausto tried to seek a refuge behind some trees, he did not have enough time to leave the dangerous area. unfortunately he could not do anything to help until the flying machine would be on the ground. From where it was hidden he saw two men came to the place, they where carrying cameras .... How was it possible for people to reach that level of stupidity? the aircraft turned around without control with the tail in fire but they were so stupid, still standing there takingl photos fo the spectacular phenomenon. ¨stupids ¨ the child whispered while he started to run towards them, he really could not understand such people ... because it is not the adventure or the feel of the adrenaline running through your body, which moves them to face death is a simple digital photo from what you can make thousands of copies with a few commands on a keyboard ... Suddenly the helicopter made a sudden movement, it change his direction quickly going towards the photographers.
He didnt have enough time to take them out of there by force and they were still standing there, perhaps petrified with fear but with the hope that the photo would be good despite they were going to get crushed. anyway the child continued to run toward them , a girl started to run from a point nearest to the men at the same time a strange wind began to roar above the rain. the wind could not be natural because it was being directed toward the helicopter and was decreasing his speed drop. The gusting wind shifted again to anticipate the new movement of the helicopter but it was too late, the helicopter had already touched the ground and rolled toward the two men.
The girl, who was much closer that him arrived before. whatever she had done when she get there had saved the three of them , because she had risked her life, she could had died there but she face death to save the civilians . she really was somebody. the three of them remained standing there while the helicopter rolled towards them and magically passed through as if they were ghosts or holograms.
without warning the girl ran way after seeing the two men were ok, Fausto wanted to run after her to ask who was and where he could locate her but he really had no time for social visits, the pilot were still in the helicopter and perhaps some passengers might be there too ... the boy ran as fast as he could, but the distance that separated them was still a rather long way . the wind began to wrap the metallic egg that threatened to explode with every second, every time a clap of thunder shook the air Fausto shuddered believing that the helicopter was exploded. the wind did a great job putting out the fire, that gave him more time ... Fortunately the fire had not reached the trees which populated the park.
With a final leap the boy reached the helicopter, if it was still a helicopter because it seemed no one was more helicopter it was semeed more like a giant metal egg. it was almost hard to imagine that this device was able to fly. someone hit the door from inside, for sure it had been jammed when the lectronic system melted. Fausto hit the door with both hands, without producing any changes in it. What he got was to realize that the metal of the door was too hot to touch it from outside. his hands bruned but he didnt though about it. all he had to do was to eat that stupid door, but not every part of it. enough to enable a person to leave.
In theory his lips and tongue could resist heat, her mouth and her lips were resistant to all acids . His tongue quickly touched his mouth, it was an action that had become almost an involuntary reflex, their teeth were impregnated in their saliva, he licked his lips too, without pass over it shape with care and speed gained from years of training. he gently put his teeth on the hinges of the door, it was hot but it not hurted him , his teeth were beginning to melt the metal with the upper teeth while rapidly corroding beneath with his lips, cuz he could not come to bite the door completely. with his tongue he keep his lips and teeth coated with his saliva. the child's face was practically glued to the hot metal, his nose touched the metal a couple of times until he found the exact position, his eyes seemed to dry out for the exhaust heat. 5 seconds and the first hinge was in his mouth . It moved slightly to the right for the weight. another five seconds was sufficient to swallow the second hinge. the door fell loudly on the side of the aircraft and with a thud sound on the floor. Fausto had the cheeks, nose, forehead and hands with a mild burning. his skin was almost red , nothing that could not be cure. it could pass as if it were a sunburn.
From inside the cavin came out a blinding smoke, it was virtually impossible to see anything. their eyes that a few moments before had been dry now were crying at the invasion of the smoke. one person went out door staggering , he almost fell to the groudn but Fausto hold him in his shoulders and took him out of there. when they had walked a few feet away from the helicopter the pilot whispererd something to him almost understandable. ¨pilot¨ and ¨4¨ and It was the only thing the child could understand.
She checked the phone book for the number of the operator and dialed the phone accordingly but nothing happened. She looked down to see that the phone wire was cut. She looked back outside and seen that the storm was still as powerful as ever, however it seemed that the lightning had stopped. As of the helicopter it looked as if the flames had been put out. She stepped out of the booth and back into the rain.
She decided to go check out the situation now that she was in the clear as to people knowing about her "unique" abilities. She slowly made her way back through the crowd, her hair was soaked and her bangs hung over her eyes. she pushed her way to the front of the crowd which was blocked off by police tape. She looked on to see two young boys helping to get the people out of the no longer flaming helicopter.
The door of the helicopter laid strangely placed and hinges missing. Upon closer examination, the hinges weren't where they were supposed to be on the helicopter either, there were simply bite marks where the hinges existed. The police move in to help the two boys carry people from the helicopter. Still active in her mind was the fact that the hinges were simply gone, she knew for a fact that the police didn't carry tools that could do that.
She had suspicions about both of the boys, it wasn't very common that two young boys would help out in a helicopter crash, she knew this because it was equally as suspicious that she as a young girl would help out in the same situation. She would wait there until the situation calmed down and then she would confront them about it. She had tried a couple of times to cross over the police line but a police officer put her back behind the line and was now standing directly in front of her to guard the line. She could understand their intentions, after all they wouldn't want everyone scattered around the entire area. Doing so would make it impossible for them to get the wounded into ambulances and deal with the situation accordingly.
Before they got the last person into an ambulance a news reported was allowed to cross the line. She looked up at the police officer "excuse me sir but could I cross the line please?" The officer didn't even look at her and instead kept looking around at the crowd "sorry miss no one can cross yet" She looked at the news reporter now questioning the two boys "but you let that reporter through" The officer continued to glance around "I'm sorry miss no one can cross" Another news reporter crossed the line right next to her and she followed them over the line only to be grabbed on the shoulder "Stay behind the line" said the officer. "but I was the one who helped those two guys over there" she pointed to the two men who had their cameras and stupidly got too close to the crash site to get a good video. The officer looks at her strange "what did you just?" She rethinks what she just said "Yeah I know, go behind the line" and she lets the man's hand on her shoulder guide her back behind the line.
Now extremely hell bent on talking to the two strange boys she continues to wait. Now a young girl had entered the scene, it seemed she was with one of the boys. The firefighters and police were only left and the survivors of the crash had been taken away in the ambulances. The firefighters and police were talking to the kids as they sipped coffee from the mugs they had in their hands given to them by one of the fire fighters. They were letting some of the public through now but keeping them away from the crash itself and she waited just a minute longer until she was allowed through and she walked over to the three.
She was a bit more panicked than she realized. Once the fires were out, she realized that Iron Mouth had chewed off the hinges. Where had the girl gone? And the other survivors for that matter, most everyone had cleared out. Ghost spun around on her heel as David came running up without a shirt. That made her realized that in her hand... the wet rag was actually... "Oh David, I'm so sorry." She handed him the soaking shirt and a flash bulb went off in her face.
The press? Oh no. She turned back to the fuselage with rain pouring down her face. They had better not connect this to the book store. Oh she hoped this was going to be okay. An officer grabbed her arm just above the elbow. "Ma'am, if you'd come with me to answer some questions?"
Ghost nodded dumbly as she watched paramedics pulling bodies out of the wrecked helicopter. "They aren't d-" The word caught in her throat. "Are they going to be okay?"
The policeman smiled rather reassuringly and pulled Ghost to the side. Officers seemed to be pulling David and little Iron Mouth to the side for questions as well. "I'm sorry. I-- The boys, I'm responsible for Fausto and David... David is my employee." That not only sounded strange, but was strange since they were the same age. "Please, don't interrogate Fausto without someone old enough present." Really, all she wanted was a hug, but she had to make sure her fellow Mansion-dwellers weren't in trouble. Fausto especially. He was under age. She couldn't even remember if he'd been registered.
David watched the boy gnawing at the door "what the hell?" he was biting off the hinges. In his hands was the soaked shirt. At this point he was freezing cold, and he quickly put the shirt on and buttoned it up, it didn't quite help very much. "Don't worry about it Ghost."
As the press approached him they started taking quick questions and flashing pictures "Hi." David said with a grin. He was about to explain to them what happened when a police officer came between them. "This way, we have some questions." The police officer started pulling him away, but David pulled his arm free. "I didn't do anything wrong." He said walking over to Ghost, the police officer didn't seem impressed, and followed after him.

¨ Look at those stupid cops, we just save 6 lives and they continue to believe that we are a threat. damned human that can never distinguish when one is hurting them or when one is helping ... now they going to start questioning what we did in an annoying way, despite they know what happened, because everything is recorded and perhaps broadcasting live too . but they need our help, if we have abilities, we must help the weak but despite the fact they are so paranoid. ¨
Ghost seemed very concerned, she should be really concerned because she had two children under her care involved in the accident. but it was not her fault, they all wanted to help. they helped, those 6 people would be dead if no one helped them . Why no one could understand that they were heroes? where was the honor in that questionnaires that they were making ? are the Hot coffee that they offered to avoid hypothermia the reward for it ? no, they reward was the pride of feeling useful. to have helped to preserve a life. But those stupid cops did not understand it ... everybody believed they were the main attraction in this freak show.
Then the phantom girl appeared , the girl ghost who had helped the two men.she was still there coming towards them, the police had found her too. When she was close enough, Fausto speaks almost in a whisper so that the cops could not hear him. ¨ Hey phantom girl, what you did there was amazing. ¨ she was a bit far away to continue talking, he stopped a moment to see around .it was something that had to be handled with extreme care. No one had to hear it, did not even Ghost. She could misunderstand things and worry even more. Fausto grabbed her hand quickly and forcing her to bend without worry about being carefully and subtly, when she was more closer to him , he started to talk again in her ear. Nobody would be able to hear their talk with the sound of rain while he spoke quickly in a whisper.
¨I can not talk much here, this is an absolute and very important secret that nobody has to know.¨
He looked at both sides, no one was paying attention to them , Ghost and David were being questioned at that time, but not for the press by the police.
¨ if you know that the world is going to be destroyed, do you will help to make it not happen? if you're a little smarter you may find that the world is heading towards its destruction, it continuously falls more and more deep , since there is virtually no moral values, all is contaminated by drugs, and war is a giant that smash everything ... and you will even more smart if you're aware that what I am offering is a place to change the world, to be a hero if you like. but above all , a place to change the world for a better place for all, and if you are not interested in any of that ... we can pay you very well for your service . your skills are excellent. is your decision but I want you in our side ¨
The child's voice sounded weak compared with the sound of the rain but she should have heard all ...
As she walks toward the boy she thought about what she was going to say. The sound of the wind and rain still pounded at her ears and was enough to further agitate her already developed headache. She looked up and seen the police splitting up the two boys and the girl for private questioning. Maybe she would be too late to talk to one of them. She walked up behind one of the boys, nervously she didn't say anything for a second. Before she took another step closer the boy turned to her and said ¨Hey phantom girl, what you did there was amazing¨. These words at first comprehension were difficult to make out so she took a step closer to him.
Her headache was starting to really act up and she turned sightly to put one of her hands to her head. She seen the boy took a look around and then he grabbed her by her arm and pulled her closer to him. By reflex she tried to pull away but he had a strong grip on her arm. Before the boy felt she would pull away again he spoke almost right into her ear ¨I can not talk much here, this is an absolute and very important secret that nobody has to know". She didn't move and instead nodded her head slightly "I'm listening".
The boy explained to her about war and values and about an organization he thought she would be a good part of. He said that her abilities could be put into great use, but she didn't really pay attention to anything past that she could finally have a meaning and a place to stay perhaps. She went over again all the questions she had organized in her head that she wanted to ask the boy but she instead decided that if she would see him again then it was best that she ask him later. Besides, she would probably have her answers soon enough.
"I'm in" she says to the boy as he let go of her arm. She stepped back once again before a police officer took her by the shoulder and asked her to follow him. She hesitantly refused "why do you need to talk to me? I have to go actually" The officer turned to her " You know this boy, I have to speak with you, you aren't in trouble or anything" She knew that just because someone says one thing didn't mean it couldn't mean another but she decided that resisting a police officer wouldn't have been the greatest idea.
She took one last look back "How much longer do you need me? I really have somewhere to be right now". The officer turned away from her fiddling with something in his hands. She more than patiently waited for him to continue the gibberish he was spewing. The officer turns around and faces her with a camera in his hand "do you know what this is?". She looked dumbfounded "it's just a camera" The officer seems annoyed "just a camera?". She sounds assured "yes, it's just a camera" The officer watches whatever is on the camera once more "This is the camera those two gentleman were holding when you rescued them". Eve began biting her lower lip "I don't know what you are talking about" The officer hands the camera to her with the picture frozen at a picture that was clearly her holding the arms of the two boys right before the helicopter crashed down on them. Eve gives the camera back to the police man "I've done nothing wrong" and then stands up and walks away.
Ghost, David, and their questioning officer stood near the shelter of the trees. The rain was less here, but no less dreary.
"Ma'am where were you when the accident began?"
Ghost looked at David concernedly. She wasn't entirely sure. "Maybe 6 or 7 blocks back on the main road." Maybe David could confirm.
The police officer stopped writing and gave her a hard look. "I am an air elemental, Sir. I can move quickly if needed."
He was scribbling fast and hard now. "And uh- you were on the main road, you say? Not near the copter?"
"Well, yes. I'm sure there are store cameras that have my, our whereabouts on film..."
"But, you can move pretty fast by your own account."
It occurred to her that he thought she had crashed the helicopter. "Sir, I don't move that fast. I hardly got here in time to slow the thing down. I'm very grateful that Fausto was here to chew off the hinges and other responsible citizens were here to clear the way. I am very sorry that whatever crashed the helicopter happened, but we were only here after the fact using the best of our abilities to help others." A chill passed through Ghost's shoulders as she spoke. She and David would have to go home now, they were both soaked. Hopefully she could get a hold of whoever was at the front desk now and they could hold on for a bit longer.
"We are here out of courtesy to you. If you have no further questions...? I'd like to get out of these clothes."
The officer scowled and Ghost tried her best not to cringe. Standing up to people wasn't her specialty, but in this case it was necessity. There were others counting on her and no amount of temerity would make her let them down. The officer took down Ghost's information and asked if David was a mutant as well. Ghost fielded the question to him. He didn't look it at all so if he wanted to lie it would be on him to do it.
After they were finished with the questions Ghost trotted over to Fausto and scooped him up in a squishy soaking wet hug. "That was some good thinking, Iron Mouth Fausto!" She was so proud of the kid, she just couldn't help herself. "And ... oh! Who is this?" Ghost let Fausto go and offered a hand and a smile to the girl with purple eyes. Was this the girl who went through the plane? Ghost couldn't be sure, her sight wasn't the same when she was incorporeal.
"We're going to take a cab, would you like a ride somewhere?" Ghost had every intention of leading the party back to the Mansion. "And what are you doing out here without a coat, Iron Mouth?" Ghost was one to talk. She didn't get cold as easily, but she was certainly cold now! This rain was freezing. The kind that got in your bones and made you cold for the rest of the day.
David stood with Ghost, the same stupid grin on his face as he waved to the press. "I wonder if my parents will see this, that would be cool." He said leaning to Ghost, and that's when he noticed the police questioning them. "Yeah that's sounds about right." agreeing with Ghost.
At first David didn't realize the reasoning behind the cop's questions to Ghost, not until Ghost had to explain it all to them. He wasn't sure what to feel on the subject. On one hand Ghost was his friend, and the thought of someone believing that she would take down a helicopter really annoyed him. Then again the cops did have a bit of a reason to suspect them, a helicopter crashing in the park, and a group of mutants were just all around; then just to add on to the problems, one was an air elemental.
That's when the cop's attention turned to David, and he had no problem talking to them. "Yeah I'm a mutant to, am a neuromancer." He told them, he knew they wouldn't know what that meant, but it sounded cool. "I can invent things to, I made these boots with compressed air so I can run faster." The pride in his voice was easy to hear. The cold was starting to get to him, and after a loud sneeze he apologized to the cops and told them he should get going. "Hey Ghost wait up."

Ghost had been ended the police interrogation and David also completed it . After a wet hug with wet her . all were gathered under the rain that did not seem to want to hear to the wishes of the people who want it to stop. anyway they were already all wet but the cold was starting to carve deep into the bones.
When Ghost just ended saying that they would ride a cab ,one stopped near them, Fausto immediately recognized what was the taxi of Arthur. "And what are you doing out here without a coat, Iron Mouth?" the question returned him to the conversation that was taking with her. she certainly was very worried.
¨ I had a pretty good Yellow Raincoat those that all the world had but I put it out because I couldnt run well with it ... do not worry. everything went well. i could caught a cold but is not important, we just to save 6 lives here. ¨ Fausto smiled for her ,with a smiled that only a child is able to show in such a situation. Arthur was being to get impatient and began playing the horn to draw they attention.
¨ Hey we can take that cab ! is Arthur, i now him . is a good guy. ¨
She walked away from the police officer without looking back. The officer had left her feeling like she had done something bad and she felt really sad even though she knew she shouldn't. She waited until the boy was ready to leave and she stood at a distance waiting for him to finish talking with the police.
The boy had finished talking to the officer and she walked to him. It seemed that the other two the boy was with had finished their interrogations and were now headed toward them. One of them was the other boy she had seen earlier with no shirt and the girl who Eve wasn't so sure exactly where she had come from. This girl with the short white hair interested her, why was she with the two young boys? maybe they were family.
The others had made their way over to them "That was some good thinking, Iron Mouth Fausto!" the white haired girl had said to the boy Eve was with. Was the boy's name Fausto? what was with Iron Mouth? maybe it was a nickname, or maybe it went further back then that like her nickname. "And ... oh! Who is this?" The white haired girl had offered her hand to Eve. "Hi" Eve said whilst shivering, "my name.. I mean my name, I'm Poison" she said while she shook her hand. She didn't have to try hard to shake, she didn't expect the cold to be an issue since she was used to even colder temperatures but it must have been the work of the rain and blowing wind that gave her the chills.
"We're going to take a cab, would you like a ride somewhere?" The white haired girl had said to her. "I don't really have anywhere to go but anywhere is better than here" she smiled through her shivering. "And what are you doing out here without a coat, Iron Mouth?" The white haired girls question to Fausto reminded her that she too was without her coat which probably explained why it was so cold. Then she remembered that she had left her coat behind at the airport because she didn't think she'd need it.
She followed the three around quietly without saying anything. Eve had lots on her mind and lots of things she had wanted to ask but she would wait until they were somewhere they could talk.
