The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

With the first wave of mutants engaging the Stalkers around the edge of the camp the ground forces moved into position. A dozen LAV-25 Armoured Personnel Carriers spead towards the camp. At their head was a M1A1 Abrams main battle tank. The M1A1 had one job, make a hole for the ground forces to enter the camp. The turret tracked the entry point before firing a high explosive round.
With the entrance made the following LAV-25s fanned out and formed into a line alongside the M1A1. From there the mutants could disembark and their cannons, along with the M1A1's, could offer support fire against the Stalkers. While they were unlikely to do any significant damaged, they would hopefully keep some Stalkers busy and stop the mutants being overwhelmed. The rest was down to them now.
An engineer, a physicist, and a statistician were hunting. After a short walk they spotted a moose. The engineer raised his gun and fired. The bullet landed 3 metres to the right of the moose. The physicist, realizing that the engineer did not account for the wind, aimed to the left and fired. The bullet landed 3 metres to the left of the moose. The statistician screamed "We got him! We got him!"

Prior to the tank and convoy entering, Hades radioed in “Operation Mayhem phase one green.” He was perched on a tree with his usual high calibre sniper rifle slung across his back, and an odd rather stubby looking weapon in his hand, he loaded what looked like a short stubby rocket into the rifle and took aim. As soon as the tank blasted a hold through the wall, a few things happened at once. The “bullet/rocket’ left the barrel like a gigantic bullet from an oversized sniper rifle, after 10 metres or so the tail ignited and sent the two stage pladinium charge rocket. The rocket impacted the transformer station inside the camp and the first stage released, which was a hydrogen producing compound. Within seconds the air inside the station was rich with hydrogen which was why when the second stage incendiary ignited the whole station was literally blown apart, cutting the main power to the camp.
As soon as Hades had fired the first shot, he was rappelling along one of the lines he had already setup to another sniping nest. This time he loaded a clip into his usual sniper and took aim, *CRAKC* *CRACK* and then two explosions as he hit two outdoor fuel tanks with two incendiary rounds causing them to blow up. He then proceeded to kneecap the four guards who were manning the four light machine guns at the four corners of the camp, he also put a hole through the gun barrels so that they would malfunction.
“Mayhem phase one complete, guardian angel of death is online.”

Kami was out of the vehicle the moment it stopped moving. Dashing around he saw the hole in the wall and ran straight for it. As he did he began to gather energy in the palm of each hand and cast about for any Stalkers that looked ready to move and engage him. Seeing none he dived through the hole and into the camp.
Rolling to his feet he quickly spotted a pair of guards running towards the breach with weapons in their hand. Firing his energy blasts he bowled them off their feet and sent the weapons tumbling from their hands. With the immediate threat dealt with he looked for the nearest prisoners with the intent to get them into the LAV-25s as soon as possible.
Sonya/Doug looks up sharply at the first sounds of battle and bolts to his feet. OK, then… showtime. The flood of adrenaline coursing through Doug’s body is simply excitement, she tells herself. Certainly not fear, let alone panic. Just excitement, anticipation, the urgency to finally do something after weeks of waiting, the thrill of action.
The fact that it feels not in the least bit unlike panic is something she tries to avoid paying attention to as she runs through the Camp corridors, cradling the pulse-rifle she’d been issued when this operation started. It ought to be capable of at least slowing down a Stalker, hopefully even of taking one out, but if all goes well even that won’t be necessary… the bulk of the robotic resistance ought to be distracted by the main Resistance force.
And, if all goes according to plan, most of the inmates are mobile – free of sedation, free of shock-collars, free of locks on their cells. Of course, all never goes according to plan, which is why she’s flanking the planned escape routes searching for stragglers.
To anyone riding in the same transportation as Petunia, they might have been just a little uncomfortable. The entire trip there she had been building her insect forces so that once in the heat of action, she wouldn’t have to worry about getting big right away in order to make more.
What could be seen of her skin literally crawled into little, icky, stinging, with wings, Moths that as large as three inches long, moths with elaborate markings on their large wings, dragon flies as decoys, and mosquitoes. To cut down on space, as the insects crawled from her skin, she basically manipulated them into a large pile of insects. Sort of like the man with a beard of bees only much bigger. Large enough to cover a man or two.
The stopped and like someone starting a race, Pix was out the door of the vehicle, in mid run her wings took over and then in the air, she transformed into a common dragonfly. Her swarm of insects followed like a giant wave. It took a couple hundred horse flies to pick up her issued equipment from Hades, and she hoped there were enough extra little mandibles should she loose a slave or two hundred on the way.
Her swarm of insects followed the first one through the fence, Kami, and she took a different path over the top to get a better angle on the upcoming situation. A second later she was back at the head of her swarm passing by Kami’s ear. “Three guards coming around the next corner to the left.” Came her high pitched, helium sucking, like voice in Kami’s ear as she reported what she saw over the fence.
Shade had his classic smirk on his face as he sat in one of the armoured personnel carriers. Instead of being dressed in his usually attire, the mutant had on a large, dark grey cloak which included an over-sized hood (in reality it looked much like a Jedi's cloak, just don't say that to his face).
As they lumbered down the road in the huge hunk of metal that was their transport vehicle, Shade adsent-mindly flicked out a dagger to watch it disappate into smoke. He flicked out another one when suddenly, an explosion nearby rocked the car. Shade's smile widened at the anticipated violence.
The car skidded in a halt on the dirt road before the door burst open. After the mad rush out the door, Shade silently stepped out into the battlefield. The view was pure chaos: massive fires burnt in the distant, explosions were rocking the ground, and guards ran to and fro with no direction. However, Shade only registered one thing. He cast an unseen glaze at a dark light pole.
"No lights...Great!" The mutant said to himself as he moved out of the light from the vehicle and vanished.
Flloyd and Naveed had been tipped off earlier to when this attempt would be occuring and now Flloyd followed insuit with the others on his bike. He never expected to see this many mutants in one area and he pondered to himself what their individual powers were. Hearing noise from above he glanced from under his helmet to see mutants falling in from the sky. It was all or nothing. Naveed was hanging on to him from behind (despite much easlier protest) and he yelled over the engion. "Sit tight friend. Don't lose your head with this. She needs us."
He got himself and Navi as close as he could and watched the others for a lead. There was now a gaping hole and people were already rushing to and from it. He didn't see Raina in it. Would she even look like he remembered.
As he took stock of the situation he also started picking up automatically on the specific fears of the humans around him. It seemed like simple stuff- stuff he could easily insist was there. After a few more moments mutant fears came trickling to him as well. That was a little worse.
To say Navi was feeling akward in this moment was an understatement. Not only was he riding bitch with another guy the guy happened to be his close childhood friend who turned out to be a mutant. And Flloyd's mutation was creepy. Just being this close to him made Navi feel paranoid and jittery. He felt it hard to keep his focus.
"I'll kill that cop if I see 'em" growled Navi also taking a look around at what was happening. "I think you and I can easily take these human guards. It's the bots I'm not to sure about. Hopefully the plan to lead them away willl work. We didn't come here with any weapon but our powers."

(OCC if you need Hades help just call him up) Having finished his mayhem creation Hades disassembled his sniper and launcher and returned them to the backpack on his back, not before firing a grapple hook to the walls of the structure and rappelling down to the APC’s where he exchanged his heavy calibre sniper for an full auto lighter calibre sniper and two Glock G11’s one of the few guns firing case-less bullets and required a processer to operate he then stopped to take stock

((ooc: I'll replace this with an official Rupert post later this evening. Somewhat busy today, since I just got back on campus.
For any inmates: Assume the collars/bracelets have all been mysteriously shut off. They're still attached to you, but they won't zap you for power usage, or if the guards try to use their remotes on you. The majority of you probably wouldn't even notice they'd been shut off, at first.
*puts on Mod hat* And for those of you who are going to go psycho-killer on us: the number of guards you're allowed to kill is set at five. Feel free to kill less than that. Feel free to not kill anyone, and just get yer bum outta there.))

If Vibe had learned nothing else over the past months of being on her own, it was the meaning of tolerance. She didn't learn it well, but she was learning. And the ride to the Camps were a major test of her tolerance, especially since she'd ended up in the same transport at Bugzilla, the Incredible Insect Woman. Vibe did her best not to throw up at the site of insects actually coming out of the girl's skin. She couldn't keep her skin from crawling though, just because of the sheer number of them.
When they arrived, and the girl literally flew out of the transport, Vibe held her breath and did her best to meld in with the walls, while the insect army swarmed after.
>That is SO wrong.....< She shuddered, and followed the others out. She shouldered a backpack on as she went. She was unarmed, mainly because she didn't plan on fighting anyone or anything until she found her sister. The backpack held several orange juices and energy bars, in case Amp was in really bad shape. And once Vibe found her sister, they wouldn't need weapons.
She paused for a moment, taking in the scenery. This was her first glimpse of the hole her sister was imprisoned in. For the briefest seconds, Vibe felt as small as one of those dragonflies, staring up at a bear.
Sounds of explosions reached her from various directions, along with the trembling vibrations sent through the air. With them her fear melted into anger.
How dare the humans take her sister away from her, and all of these prisoners away from their families! All because they were different? Because they weren't weak, and normal, like the humans?
She hurried after the others toward the hole in the wall, spreading her senses to keep clear of any approaching objects. She wasn't even inside when a familiar shudder went up her spine. It was like walking down a dark corridor, with a light shining at the end of the tunnel. Except going toward this light was a good thing.
Vibe latched onto the sensation and followed it, the connection to her twin acting like a towline.
Onyxanna Moon heard the firing noises of guns, the battle had offically begun, yet she was hiding in a cabin, right behind four busy guards whom she was paying close attention too ever since the first gun shot. She reconized breifly one of them as being one of the two to caputre her several nights before and she was determined to kill him no matter what, who cared if she was more of a defence person, she could fight with her fists and big black boots.
She slowly stood up straight, her back starting to ache from the bad position she had took not so long ago. At that moment she could see everything she needed too. If she could just levitate herself without notice up on the roof. That would be great help, she could easily sheild people if need to as her sheilds could reach up tyo seventeen feet which was a bonus when you wanted to sheild someone who you didn't want him or her to know you did it.
For now though, she remained silent, hoping that she could get out of the broom cupboard entrance without knockin out a few brooms prooving she was there. At that moment though, one of the guards shifted. ''Erm,'' the man said glancing backwards right in time for Onyx to crouch down out of sight. ''Wha' Nothin' 's there,'' said a second one who had the muscles of a Gorilla, no make that, two gorillas. ''I thought I felt a presence of a freak.'' said the other.
The ride to the camps was one of the seemingly longest trips of Geo's teenage life. He was itching to fight and cause some havoc, he had a plan in his head to totally unleash his powers and wrec some havoc. But someone told him he couldn't because he would hurt the mutants stuck in the camp. So he settled for killing some guards and taking out the walls so that other inmates could get through. For now though he was stuck in a metal vehicle surrounded by other mutants. Geo dare not look at the woman sitting opposite him, in fear that own of her ever swarming bugs would set off his Arachnaphobia and he would be useless. Geo had a new outfit on, one he had put together himself to increase his effectiveness in battle...in other words it made him look and feel bad ass. He had a pair of camo cargo pants that were tied off at his calfs so that his feet and hald his calfs were free to touch the ground and give him access to the most important part of his powers. He also wore a skin tight black muscle shirt and over that a tan cargo vest that was a bit oversized, his hair was back in a ponytail.
Geo had layed his head back against the wall when a large explosion sounded outside and the doors popped open. An enourmous grin formed on Geo's face, party time. He ran out the door and felt a rush of releif as the soles of his feet met the earth, the feeling of being whole. He looked around as his fellow mutants went to work, his arms grew to their enourmous rock form. Geo followed after a red head girl who seemed to have no weapon, Geo saw that people were getting into the camps through small hole, apparently caused by the explosion he had heard earlier. It took too long for mutants to get to the other side through the holes, so Geo molded the ground beneth his feet so that he sank in half way up his calf, he had better control of the ground that way. He thrust his palms at the wall and let his anger that had been built up from his father's treating him, to the way humans did, being abbandoned by the girl he loved, all the terrible things that had happened to him, he let the anger take over him and focused it into the ground.
Several enourmous collumns of rock shot out of the ground and smashed into the wall before him. The impact was devistatingly loud and shook the very ground. The collumns resided back into the ground and the wall crumbled like it was a gramcraker smashed by a two year old in a high chair. The rubble had metal rods that had been put in the cement for reinforcment sticking out. Not safe, Geo thought and he covered the rubble with a thick layer of earth, kinda like a dirt bridge. Geo was pushed up by the earth till his feet were once again level with the surface. He stumbled back a second but quickly regained his footing. That performance had taken alot out of him but he still had enough to fight back, he had only the training at the labs to thank for that.
Deathstar stormed out of the barracks running for cover, she finds a concrete pillar and stands behind it as she watches the battle. She notice her brother abyss tanking and destroying stalker bots with ease, a hint of a smile too over Deathstar's face as freedom wasn't too far away. I wonder are these collars deactivated yet?, Deathstar was so ready to get in on the action, but not want to cause any bodily harm to herself. Hell!, I'm never going to find out sitting here waiting, She notice a stalker bot flash in the corner of her eye, "its show-time!" she said quietly. Deathstar sprints behind one of the stalker bots, leaping forward grappling the back of the stalker bot, eyes fading black absorbing its metal contents making her body feel and look like metal. Deathstar was excited "Yes!, I'm back!" she said quickly as she lost her focus, the bot attacked Deathstar knocking her 30 feet back "You got to try harder than that, I'm one of you now" she said while dashing forward tackling the bot to the ground.
Deathstar rage and revenge took over her mind, she leaped back to her feet and sends a swift kick to the bot putting a dent at the side dealing internal damage to the stalker. She left the bot on the ground with sparks shooting out of its mid-section , She runs inside the chaos , hitting bots along the way assisting her rescuers.
Acer was to focused on his trouble at hand to relize the giant exploision of the enourmous 140mm shot from the abram's turent to relize why the two guards took the aittion from the small but deadly mutant they had just corned, he really could care less, for he saw an opening and he took it without hesitation. He lashed out at one gaurd, knocking him to the ground and in the process he maneged to relieve the gaurd of his knife, the knife that the gaurd was so willingly about to use on Acer. Acer did'nt miss a single beat as he swiped at every vital vain, thought to him by Sara and Streak. He made quick work of the first gaurd, not killing him but mutalating the weak human, leaving him to wither and raught in his own life juices, walking after the cowardly gaurd who quiclky abandoned his commarad. exploions lit up the cool dark night as he casully walked out the girls barraks, slowly stalking his human pray, while trying too escape Acer, was drawn by the sight of the night , only after hearing footsteps behind him did he relize that he had not escaped his pursuor. He rouned on Acer, seeing the blood covered boy, knowing that the cene behind was no better fate he did what any other human would do, he dropped to his knees and begged for his life. Acer stopped to stand over the defeated gaurd to soke in the irony of this cene, for he soon relized that this gaurd was the same one that esscorted ( if you want to call it that) him into the camp. "well , well, well if it isnt the gorilla, not so bad now are you?" he cooed as the fallen gaurd squirmed at his feet. " I'm a muttant too" the gaurd pleaded trying to find mercy in the black heart of the kid, but too no evail. " there is girl, black short hair with purple streaks in it, about 5'2, japanese, have you see her?" he asked the gaurd "no" stammered the guard, "too bad" Acer said as he focussed all his anger and hatered towards the gaurd, knowing ounce he used his powers that the braclet around his arm wounld shock him. Surpisely no shock came from his blantent display of muttation, too bad he thought tohimself as he lifted the gaurd of his feet with his kinectic force, creating a forcfield inside the huge gaurds body, and enclosing it on his enternal organs. As the man jerked and screamed for mercy he knew was not coming, Acer did'nt notice the disfigured guard approching him from behind. The gaurd in the rear made it to his target without Acer noticing him, grabing him by his neck and forcing Acer to the ground. With the sudend interuption he lost control of the suspended gaurd, resulting in his withered body exploding as the inner forcefied expanded past the limits of its host. The other gaurd was again distracted by the body parts and chunks of bloody skin rained down on top of him to noticed that Acer had begun a sireis of violent cuvulsions leading to sharp kinectic waves flying in all directions, slicling the gaurds body in an ary of gore that only complemented the allready bloody rain that was falling. It was all Acer could do to stand on his feet as 3 more gaurds rushed him only to have their pathectic lives ended horifficly. One haveing his tounge ripped from his body by Acer invisilble hand of force. Another died from a simmlar fate only to have his spine removed from his naval, the third died from a knife wound, starting from his stomach down to his manhood. Acer tryed his best to remain councious but to no prevail, he fell to the ground, the last thing he saw was a group of guards surrounded him, he knew he was dead but that did'nt matter, the only thing that did matter was that girl, the girl from the dark room, he just wanted her out safe.
