The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

If it weren't a complete piece of crap, this 1939 Plymouth could be a real pimp car.
She'd found it in the Hudson with it's lights still on and on a whim got a tow truck to bring it back to her dad's trailer. Since then it had rusted four days and three nights on the lawn. Not a big deal since it was white trashville here at the trailer park. She wasn't the only one to collect a useless car in her lawn and she wouldn't be the last. The difference between them, though, was that Lori had every intention to fix hers.
She removed the engine and was sitting where it was supposed to be. Her legs wedged between the fuel injector and the wiper fluid. She threaded a roll of masking tape on her arm above the metal bangles and held a sharpie tucked behind her ear. Her hands were busy with various wires.
Lori painstakingly was plucking through the shoddy wiring. One at a time she stuck them in her mouth and waited for something to happen. Sometimes something happened. This time the windshield wipers started going nuts and she peeked underneath the gap of the open hood to watch the wipers flap back and forth for a moment before pulling out a length of tape and making a flag on the wire which she labeled.
So went the process. She may have to head to the library to check out some of the mechanical stuff later. She knew the theory there, but not the specifics. But for now she was content to label everything to make efficient use of her later time. Ah, the perfect Saturday. Alone with an insurmountable task. No one to bother her or try to change her...
Mars rose out of bed with a roaring yawn that might have been mistaken for a bear coming out of hibernation. He rubbed his fore head and a post it came off on to his hand. it had a an address a smooth signature with a pair of juicy lips in a shade of red. He rose up to his desk and looked up the address and pulled a pair of jeans on and then a black tank top. A pair of socks and boots and a Yankees ball cap. He had taken note of the "you wear to much" comment and attempted to dress down on occasion. He plopped into his desk chair and then shook the mouse, a screen came to life. He typed in a search on the address in Google earth and got a view of a trailer park with all the usual fanfare. Not his usual scene, but he didn’t honestly care. The address could have led to a land fill and he would go if it meant seeing the woman that he was after.
He hopped out of his chair whistling and went and got a shower, redressed and started heading to the garage. He hoped in the jeep wrangler that he loved for the lack of feeling trapped in a vehicle. Not that he really minded he just a appreciated the lack of a top. He worked his way through the city and then finally to the address, his eyes scanned and landed on a car in a yard with the engine in front of it. The faded sticker numbers matched up with the address. He pulled into the pair of dirt lines that signified the usual parking place.
Hoped out of the Jeep and was heading toward the small trailer that he could lift with ease, but froze as he watched the scene in front of him. He stayed as quiet as he could, knowing full well that charge had to have heard the Jeep. But he wanted to leave her uninterrupted as long as he could, there was a certain something that made a woman her size working on a car, how she was working on it arousing. He wasn’t his brother, he thought upstairs but Lori seemed to have that effect on him.
Finally he asked “Anything I can do to help or can I sit and simply watch?” he knew the basics behind cars and how they worked. Jupiter was the one she would really want helping, but second to him he was good. He wondered if she had a manual. He could fix anything with a manual.
Ah, make that a pleasant Saturday. No offense to Mars, but there was some sort of pride that came along with an "I did this" especially when it didn't have to turn into anything as silly as a "we did this." But it wouldn't be very fair to make him watch the whole time, now would it? She pushed harder against her legs pressing her back firmly against the metal to make certain she was wedged in safely before chancing a hand to another pile of wires. Most were already flagged, but there were a few left tangled in there.
"Looks like you got my note."
She couldn't tell exactly where he was, but she had heard the car door open and close. He was almost certainly watching and therefore listening.
“Anything I can do to help or can I sit and simply watch?”
"You could see if any of these are the tail lights or if they're really all dead." She tossed the manual she'd found in the car out onto the dusty ground. There were a lot of water damaged pages and a lot of missing pages hence the need to go through things manually and the later need to head the library. Her stubby fingers worked to separate out all the as of yet unlabeled ones and she popped them all in her mouth at once. After he was around the back of the car, she pulled them out one by one until he said the tail lights went off again. Lori quickly tagged it and then scrambled out of her perch inside of where the engine perviously had been housed.
"Actually... now that you're here we could probably design a more efficient engine or a kind of hybrid that runs off of grass clippings or some such nonsense." She tightened her pony tail and left dark greasy smudges at the hair tie. she wiped her hands on her jeans trying to avoid the too short white shirt or any skin. She was trying to keep it clean to avoid a sponge off. Who knew when Jacen would finally show up to allow her the shower of her dreams? It was best not to rely on such ridiculous notions of white knights and rely on herself.
"But, I'm guessing you didn't come for this." A knowledgeable light danced in her eyes as she toed the engine laying in the grass between the trailer and the rusty vehicle. Her canvas shoe wobbled the lump of metal back and forth for a moment testing it before she attempted to stand on it. That should put her quite a bit closer to Mars' height. "Just come to check things out or did you have anything in mind?" She could dance around the topic all day. After all, it was the promise of a chance that was so tantalizing.
Oh, it would be fair. A lawn chair and a glass of lemonade would have made him more then content to simply observe the mechanic. Tight jeans, thin cotton shirt, pony tail and motor grease on her hands. Why that was a turn on he wasn’t sure, but it certainly worked for him.
~~"Looks like you got my note."
“It was a little hard to miss, I am surprised you got it there with out waking me. Well done.” He replied with laughter in his voice.!
~~"You could see if any of these are the tail lights or if they're really all dead."
“ Working.” He said in a bit of surprise. It didn’t look like he would use that phrase on the car too much.
~~"Actually... now that you're here we could probably design a more efficient engine or a kind of hybrid that runs off of grass clippings or some such nonsense."
“are you kidding me? Its your car and you wouldn’t want it to run off electric? The big issue with those guys are the charge time. For you not a problem.” He said shaking his head, he wasn’t sure if she was being sarcastic.
~~"But, I'm guessing you didn't come for this."
“I would have if I knew.”
~~"Just come to check things out or did you have anything in mind?"
“ a note on the forehead is hard to ignore, and with the simple address paired with supple red lips, leaves a curious man with no choice I’d say. And yes I’d say I have plenty in mind where you are concerned.”
“I’d be glad to help with this project” his eyes tilted over to the car but then he continued as he closed the gap. Between them invading her personal space as an inexplicable sensation ran over him. Well no he knew the science behind it but, this was a case where science didn’t do the experience justice. “or any other you have lying around. Though I suppose projects between us don’t always stay laying down do they?” he closed the between his mouth and hers and kissed her gently and then bite her lip to counter act the sweetness of the initial kiss. He always wondered if one day she was going to open up a circuit on him when he leaned in. his hands held her hips and she no longer had to worry if the motor was stable or even if it teleported away. He pondered momentarily when he had decided he could take such liberties with her body without a word. His hands moved to her waist and his thumbs went under her shirt. He then backed off slightly.
“Perhaps we should move inside?” he would have to be cautious in the trailer, he certainly didn’t want her second home to end up like a certain over turned limo.
He might have been able to restrain himself but the idea once placed there had him encouraged, she would need to tug back on the leash if she wanted him to heal.
"O-ho, come on." She chuckled and welcomed the circle of arms that kept her from her feet. "You think I want to waste all that good energy running a car? I suppose it's doable and the alternator could give me back some hutzpah after it was on for a bit." She considered it for a brief moment. Honestly, she hadn't thought of actually modifying the engine until she'd realized he was here. "I meant it as a joke initially, but modifications like that could be a great anti-theft mechanism, hmm?" She regarded the hunk of rusty metal with new eyes. After all, who else would be able to start her car? That also meant she always got to drive. Fun.
"Yeah, unless it's giving me something good in return, you'll get a heck-no-not-electric from me. I'd just as soon run my car off of dinosaurs and kill this here planet, I tell you what." She winked. When in the trailer park...
She didn't mind the personal space invasion at all and her lack of objection seemed to only make the red man bolder in his exploits. A kiss for that mouth of hers that never stayed shut for long. If he delved too deeply, that tongue would come out extra crispy. As it was, out of the goodness of her heart, she tried to contain herself.
“Perhaps we should move inside?”
She laughed. Oh, but she couldn't help it! All the goodness in her heart was used up not shocking his teeth out of his head. "Aren't you the eager beaver? Here you fill my head with engine customizations and then you want to run straight inside?" She wriggled against her captor with delight. "And they say women jump from topic to topic too fast." Her toes searched for the engine she'd been standing on moments before. Was it really not there or was she too high up?
"I left you the note," She poked Mars' forehead in approximation of her favorite place to leave notes, "because I thought you might be handy with the car. You want some slap and tickle, you'll have to earn it." A flash of pink tongue punctuated her statement. Car first. Nookie later. She was far too technically minded at the moment, but... women were of fickle mind. Perhaps some persuasion was in order.
He nodded at the initial reaction encouraging her thoughts on the matter, He would do it if he could, infact if he could manage to make a wind up car of something that worked off of kinetic energy he would…He might just have to try it later.
~~ "You think I want to waste all that good energy running a car? I suppose it's doable and the alternator could give me back some hutzpah after it was on for a bit." "I meant it as a joke initially, but modifications like that could be a great anti-theft mechanism, hmm?"
“absolutely, not to mention not having to bother with the price of gas around here. Or the need to bother with it. ohhh, and that is a very good point about the theft system. Maybe we could work something out like they do to recycle the charge and we can always supplement with a battery.
~~"Yeah, unless it's giving me something good in return, you'll get a heck-no-not-electric from me. I'd just as soon run my car off of dinosaurs and kill this here planet, I tell you what."
He laughed, “well, we don’t have to modify it…I suppose we could simply renovate as it looks like it could at the very least use some updating. Perhaps, we could see if we couldn’t work in a magnetic route or ignition instead, if we are only going to go for the security feature.”
"Aren't you the eager beaver? Here you fill my head with engine customizations and then you want to run straight inside "And they say women jump from topic to topic too fast."
“ there was no jump in topic, my mind was on mechanics the whole time, promise. I was just thinking that we might need to work up a good charge to make sure you were running on full for experimentations sake.”
"I left you the note," "because I thought you might be handy with the car. You want some slap and tickle, you'll have to earn it."
“so we are down to bartering then? What if I said this?” his head tilted to the side and his mouth found her neck, he did a little something that he learned evoked a certain amount of pleasure for her and typically caused a certain lovely little reciprocal reaction. His hands went from hips to bottom in a sure motion. His tail gripped and helped the motor steady as his hands were focused less on steadying and more on exploring. A hand reached up and pulled a little bit at the soft cotton collar to allow access to some of her shoulder.
He the requested between kisses and bites. “ If there is room for negotiation may I suggest: slap, work, tickle, work, slap?”
Mars drove a hard bargain. It helped that he knew part of her weakness. Teeth. Lori whined with soft protestations that were somewhere between cognizant thought and carnal nature. His tail caught her leg and helped pull it up and around the larger frame of an Abyss duplicate. Sweetness never suited Lori, but she did love this improvement. A little push, a little shove. He'd been learning from the bath incident on what it would take and now he was implementing those lessons all at once. How could a girl refuse?
"Oh alright." She sighed and relented, though her body was reacting very differently from her tone. Lori's hands cupped his face and though it was through no strength of her own, she forced him to look up at her face. Up? My, my his hands gripping her cheeks had brought her higher than she'd realized. That earned him a smile. "You." She kissed his forehead. "Win." She grinned and looked to the car, motioning with her eyes that that was her intended destination.
Perceptive and eager, Mars obviously agreed. One minute she was up, the next she was pinned under a portion of his weight against the rusted frame of the car. Lori kicked at the hood and that fell closed with a slam that sent reverberations through the steel frame and Lori's bones. "You can bend it back into shape when we're done." After all, they had flipped the limo. To think that the rust bucket would escape unscathed was assuming too much.
She grabbed collar and cloth and maybe even skin. Who cared that they were outside? It was trailer park and this was better than any soap opera they'd be watching indoors. Lori pressed her lips to Mars' and that led to teeth and a more urgent press of bodies.
Ever since Jacen night of drunken stupidity, he had been trying to get a free day to head over and see Lori at her trailer. Not only did he want to apologize correctly with presents and perhaps some more intimate attention, he also wanted to find out if they had both really meant it when they said they loved each other. Jacen knew he cared about Lori and would most definitely protect her if at all possible, but love? Maybe that was pushing things a bit to fast, but if it was, then why had they both said it?
Pulling into the trailer park, Jacen lowered his truck speed and carefully drove along. His eyes were checking each mailbox to make sure he went to the right trailer. After all he'd only been here once and there had been other details to focus on other than what the trailer looked like.
Everything about this trailer park was stereotypical. From the broken down vehicles sitting up on blocks, to the lawns that hadn't been mowed for at least a month, to trailers with their front doors standing wide open while some guy sipping at beer and stared at some program on the TV. If Lori had been any woman besides herself, Jacen would have been insisting that she move to a nice neighborhood but Lori was a different case. She could take care of herself just fine.
Glancing over at his passenger seat, Jacen had to grin slightly at the two items he had brought for Lori. One was a pot made out of tire rubber with a single tulip growing out of the dirt. The other was a carefully wrapped box that held the prized Yellow Lingerie that he had threatened to get Lori. The combination or humor and intimacy might be just what was needed to get him out of the dog house.
Glancing back out on the street, Jacen raised an eyebrow at the scene he saw just off to his left. In front of a trailer an attractive blond was wrapped up by a large red man. "It's amazing the things you see in trailer parks." Jacen muttered as he glanced over at the mail box in front of that trailer. Suddenly he froze. It couldn't be! He must have the wrong address. Now way was that...
Jacen slowed his truck down to a stop and parked across the street from the love fest that was currently going on atop a very rusty looking truck. He hadn't been able to make out a face clearly yet but a sinking feeling down inside told him that there was no mistake. "No... It's not Lori." Jacen muttered as he looked on, unable to tear his eyes away from the scene. All he had to do was see her face and then he'd know for sure. Just once glimpse and his worries would either be proven wrong or proven right.
~~“You can bend it back into shape when we're done."
“Mhmm.” Was the talking with his mouth full response that she got.
A glance at the car and he had a go on a bit of exhibition in Lori’s front Yard…now the trick was to keep her covered enough that no one else would see anything essential, easily done. His arms after all were as thick as she was. A button and a zip, a pull here, a second pull with his tail and she no longer had jeans on. This was about the moment that if anyone was watching that they might have noticed who else was involved other then a red man and someone that was hanging onto him. Mars was invigorated with a certain amount of adrenaline as this was not par for his course, he was a civilized an logically natured man. At least when it came to female interests anyhow. But from the moment he saw her under the hood he had imagined her on top of it as well.
He felt someone watching him and he didn’t care…somewhere his mind reminded him he should but Lori’s breath was more than enough to suggest ignoring the angelic voice on his left shoulder. He continued, his hand pulled her shirt up over her head leaving her in her underwear, socks and shoes.
When Mars pulled back enough to fiddle with her jeans, Lori turned and attempted to scrabble away a bit, which of course turned her to face toward Jacen's truck and at the same time helped Mars get those pesky jeans off. Her attention was clearly behind her with the red man who was reaching now for her shirt and so she never even saw her friend who was a boy who happened to be creepily sitting in his truck with lingerie watching her slap and tickle with another man... a much redder man.
She laughed and stuck her tongue out at Mars as he pulled her back in and enveloped her in his arms. But they couldn't stay that way. Oh no, she couldn't reach his lips or face or shirt this way. Her back pressed against the rusted car hood and thought about how she would so need a tetanus shot after this. Lori pressed her canvas chucks against Mars' chest to keep him at bay for the moment. It really wasn't fair! He could pull her clothes off, hand and foot and tail and Lori couldn't get the leverage to simply shred his shirt as she pleased.
"Hey, you got your slap. Now where's my electric engine?" Lori wrinkled her nose at Mars. She didn't really care to give the neighbors the whole show... that would have to be reserved for tickle. Yeah, so what if she was a tease? She was torn between two loves here. One technical and one far less mentally engaging. Lori was fully prepared to work on this baby in her skivvies and chucks like a real classy lady.
As the woman spun in the red giant's arms, Jacen's worst fears were confirmed. The playful laughing face of a woman he thought he might have been falling in love with was now directing her attention toward another man. A more mutant man than Jacen could ever hope to be.
Lifting his hand toward the ignition key, Jacen suddenly found himself in yet another internal struggle. A part of him wanted to just slink away, cutting off all contact with Lori without actually letting her know what he had seen but another part had a completely different idea. Several months ago, Jacen would have just quietly slipped away but ever since his first meeting with Lori certain things had been changing. For so long he had been a simple military gentleman but since the discovery of his power Jacen had begun to focus on what he wanted.
"No." Jacen decided resolutely as he reached over to pick up his two gifts and then open the door of his truck, "I'm going to face her and let her know that the game's over." Stepping out of his vehicle, Jacen's face was an expressionless mask though nothing could hide the pain and anger that was showing in his eyes. Stalking toward the distracted pair Jacen did his best to ignore Lori's state of undress and instead focus on the hurt and pain she had caused.
"Good to see you got moved in OK!" Jacen's voice was cold yet loud enough to break through whatever arousal might be clouding their minds as he stopped walking and just stood about twelve to fifteen feet away from them. "I brought the house warming gifts. Here's a plant for you to kill," He continued, tossing the pot about six feet so that it landed and tipped over, spilling some of the soil out onto the ground followed by the lingerie box, thrown just a little past the flower pot, "And then a little something for you and your truck buddy to enjoy."
Jacen had no interest in hearing an explanation. No, Lori was to good at lieing and twisting the truth to suit her own needs. He couldn't believe a thing this woman said especially after catching her in a position like this.
"Watch yourself with that one." Jacen advised, his eyes turned to focus on the big red man, "She's a world class bitch."
~~"Hey, you got your slap. Now where's my electric engine?"
His mouth hung open for a moment as if stunned and then he shut it and began to hold out the shirt to her again. He smiled slightly. “Fair enough,"he answered her cease fire. "We will need parts though We maybe should get your jeans on you again. Just give me a moment to let my brain be in control instead of my…your body.”
She was ridiculous…she spun him and circles and kept him guessing. His tail felt around for the jeans even as his teeth left one last nibble on her wrist. He pulled held the jeans up when he heard a voice. His neck tensed in reaction to the tone. It was one he heard on Jupiter often one raring for a fight.
**"Good to see you got moved in OK!" "I brought the house warming gifts. Here's a plant for you to kill.”
Mars watched as the man obviously love struck tossed some gifts into the yard, he instinctively moved in between them when the man was throwing things. If Lori wanted to be dressed she could use him as a screen.
Hadn’t he first encountered lori while she was scamming some man that was cheating on his wife?
**"And then a little something for you and your truck buddy to enjoy."
little truck buddy? Heh
**"Watch yourself with that one."
For a moment he was angry, thinking that the man was simply being racist towards him. with that one
**"She's a world class bitch."
And then he was furious…He wanted to simply walk up and smash the man, but he would let Lori get her say in first, maybe she didn’t want the man in the hospital…They weren’t exclusive after all. So it wouldn’t be fair to her to go back on all that even if the man was a Jerk.
He couldn’t resist stating his opinion however. “The only Bitch I see is the one throwing a tantrum and whining in her yard.” who knows what name Lori gave this sap. a plant and a lingerie box. He then looked toward Lori as he spoke. “ I am moments away from breaking him in half,” he was about to leave it at that but managed to qualify on that principle he remembered but a moment ago. “ if he don’t manage to show a bit more respect.”
Mars tossed her shirt back to her and she caught it in hand. Okay, she'd be working on the car in her chucks and shirt. At least he hadn't mincemeat her clothes like in the limo. They were still put-back-on-able. And of course When Lori had her head half through the shirt was when a certain 13 year old girl, oh, sorry, Jacen, showed up and pitched a fit.
"You wanted to see where it went. Well, here it is." She pulled her head through the shirt and saw nothing but Mars' back. Lovely. She had a mutant sheild... oh. shi*. She was finally putting two and two together. This was the stuff of Lori's nightmares! "No! I kept you away! No Sanctuary for him, no... shit!" and she said it with feeling. Lori slammed her foot against the car's hood in frustration before cramming her legs into her jeans. She got a bit hung up on the legs since her shoes were still on, and that did nothing to improve her dour mood. "Mars, don't go near him."
The proof that she cared was in the ow. Nothing hurts like an offer of the world and a new life, only to have the one offering it show up and call you bitch. Change took time and patience, none of which Jacen apparently had. Ah well. If she could have, she would have gone into hibernation mode and shut down. Maybe she could have worked on the car while they duked it out like men... but they couldn't duke it out. Lori's hand wrapped around the crook of Mar's arm and she looked up at him, obviously worried. "If you go close to him, I don't know what will happen to you."
She should have never invited either of them here. Well, Jacen knew where it was anyway... careless. She'd gotten far to careless. For Jacen, Lori only frowned. What did he expect? If he'd wanted fidelity, shouldn't he have asked for it? Or was that one of those supposedly understood things? "You won't break him in half no matter how much he says wrong." It seemed she'd done a fair job of that already. No strength required. Lori frowned more, her forehead actually wrinkling.
"Jacen meet Mars, he's my favorite book." Her grip tightened on Mars' elbow. He was her comfort, her pillar. If things sucked, she could always find Mars and he would fix things... but... not this. "Mars, Jacen. He's..." She actually swallowed, her mouth suddenly dry. "Special." Special to her, but obviously not special enough to change her ways... Of course, he was also special in that he was a one of a kind specimen. Not fully human, not fully mutant. But that wasn't a point of discussion for just now.
Jacen didn't feel at all like a child even if he was behaving just a little bit like one. All he felt like was a betrayed lover. Here Lori had actually gone so far as to say that she loved him and now he found her almost going all the way with another man right out in public! Obviously that meant that he must be the real boyfriend while Jacen was just the shower toy.
At big red's thread, Jacen's expression changed. Sure, the pain was still in his eyes but more than anything anger was now showing even as his lips turned up into a cold smile. "I suggest you listen to the woman. Breaking me in half isn't as easy as you might think."
Turning back to Lori, Jacen's eyes hardened even more. Lori was proving just who she really cared about as she grabbed onto the man's arm and held him back. So he was classified as 'Special' now. Of course, that made sense. He wasn't human, and he wasn't mutant, so of course that just meant he was 'special'.
"Sanctuary." Jacen's brain suddenly made the connection between the name and his previous experience. He wished, oh how he wished that he had some sort of zinger about the kind of company Lori kept but he really didn't. Sure he'd heard rumors about the 'Sanctuary', but nothing that could be confirmed. "You must be friends with Garrett and Isabel then. Interesting company you keep."
Staring at Lori for one last second, Jacen just shook his head and turned to walk back toward his truck. "I'll ship your stuff to you." He called back over his shoulder, "Have a nice life, Lori. Maybe your next boy toy won't be stupid enough to let feelings get involved."
~~"You wanted to see where it went. Well, here it is.
Mars simply watched as the spit got spat back in forth. Interesting. Apparently Lori was taken advantage of the open part of the deal. Which was good, she wasn’t the type to be kept. Let it go and if it was yours it would fly back, yadda yadda yadda.
**"Sanctuary."
~~" "No! I kept you away! No Sanctuary for him, no... shit" Mars, don't go near him." His first aggressive step towards the man was thwarted by a slight touch and a word of concern.
**“You must be friends with Garrett and Isabel then. Interesting company you keep."
“NO sanctuary for him?” he began to move forward thinking that she was saying give him no quarter…not thinking about the particular significance the word typically had.
The gritting of teeth was something that Mars actively tried not to do , it could cause massive amounts of damage but this one had his blood boiling. His muscles tensed and he bit down a small dose of rage. Hw dare he say their names in such a tone. Who the hell did he think he was, to talk to Charge like that and then say a pair of friends names as if they were garbage or worse.
“Very good friends in fact.”
**"I suggest you listen to the woman. Breaking me in half isn't as easy as you might think."
In a low voice He soothed Lori. “it’ll be ok.” He then turned a furious glare at Jacen. “I think I’d be more then willing to find out, I am growing very weary of your mouth.” ”
~~"If you go close to him, I don't know what will happen to you." "You won't break him in half no matter how much he says wrong.”
Since when wasn’t he the fighter to bet on in a match? being logical he wanted to find out a bit more before he simply trashed the little man, then again if Lori said he wouldn’t be doing much should he be so ready to pick this fight? But then there was the inevitable appeal of the fact that someone had actually told him he couldn’t and shouldn’t. he didn’t hear that often.
~~"Jacen meet Mars, he's my favorite book."
Mars waved with a mocking smirk painted on his face. Pushing any buttons that he might when over passively. Somewhere
~~ "Mars, Jacen. He's..." "Special."
“If you’d like me to try to repair the damage done, I could try.” He tilted Lori’s chin upward toward him. “ I can’t say I see what you like in the jack ass, but I could be a bit biased on who you should be liking. If you still want his attention, take his side in a minute. I’ll still be here for you either way.”
**"I'll ship your stuff to you." "Have a nice life, Lori. Maybe your next boy toy won't be stupid enough to let feelings get involved."
He slid his arm from Lori’s giving her arm a slight squeeze. He hadn’t shown a lick more respect for her. and so he started to pace toward the man and his truck.
“Weren’t we just saying we could use some more car parts?” Mars asked quietly to Lori as he Bent and picked up the potted plant, he tossed it in the air once to get a feel for its weight and then in full out pitch he launched the potted plant at such a velocity that upon impact it shattered and more then likely bent the front axel of his truck.
“Tell me what you don’t understand about being more respectful.” Also, I hope when you say you are harder to break then I might think, that it equates out to being a bit more sturdy then your truck there.”
