Bouncing slightly in the back of the Taxi Bacchus looked over to Isabel and said, “Here I thought you weren’t falling for my charm to think I got you to come to a dance club with me,” he grinned and then looked out the window which was rolled down and caused wind to brush against his styled messy hair. Tonight Bacchus was wearing his brown hiking boots along with his jeans and blue t-shirt black jacket combo. Who said a giant can’t dance in hiking boots, a giant can dance naked if he wanted to, but out of respect for Isabel he wasn’t planning on it tonight, but if she would ask him not to… well he would just lie to here because he was Bacchus, the big stubborn Giant.
As the cab pulled over Bacchus tossed a few bills to the man and said, “Keep the change mate” as he exited he extended his hand to help Isabel out of the car even though he knew she was fully capable of getting out of the cab on her own. Bacchus looked her up and down and grinned, “You always seem prettier at night.” Said Bacchus trying to throw her off her game a little; “I bounce for this place on Monday nights so we can get in for free, as well as the drinks.”
Grinning as his chest and arms expanded making himself looking bigger Bacchus waved to the bouncer for the night and said, “Tony, little Sheila is with me” Bacchus put his hand on Isabel’s shoulder and then gave her a small nudge into the dance club. Again he knew she might not be a fan of his actions or lingo but this was who he was.
Once inside Bacchus had to yell through the loud music to talk to her, “Wanna dance or drink?”

Isabel couldn't believe she had agreed to another outing with Bacchus. To a bar of all places. She'd seen him drink before, but she hadn't had to deal with him when he was completely drunk yet. She'd personally only ever gotten a comfortable buzz off of alcohol. It was uncertain if drinking in larger quantities would turn out so well for someone of her personality. She was so asking for trouble by accompanying such and individual to a club. She must have been a glutton for punishment. There certainly wasn't any other reason behind it that she could think of to admit. At least this time they didn't have to get all tangled up in a bet in order to get anywhere. That meant she didn't have to worry about losing to him and having to comply with any kind of prize he had thought up.
She purposely paid very little mind to him during the cab right from the Sanctuary to whatever club it was they were going to. She was perfectly content to look out her window and watch the buildings go by. "I don't fall for any charm. Especially not yours, even if you had any," was the reply she gave to his little comment, not bothering to turn her face away from the pane of glass separating her and the outside. The open window didn't bother her much, only having to brush a stray strand of hair from her eyes once or twice during the entirety of the ride. She'd decided to put it up much like at the Ball, with the top half of her hair pulled into a ponytail and the rest left to hang down her back. She'd also worn the smaller bow again, not wanting her usual larger one to get caught on anything in the atmosphere of their destination. In addition, she had abandoned the multiple layers she usually wore, anticipating that it would be warm inside the building, especially if dancing and drinks were involved. Instead she kept only her plaid skirt and a charcoal grey tank-top. Much to her irritation, the top insisted on creeping up every now and again just far enough to allow a sliver of flesh to peek between the two items of clothing. It was likely she'd never wear it again.
When they finally arrived and Bacchus offered his hand to her, she very nearly brushed past it if for no other reason than to spite him. They both knew that she was perfectly capable of removing herself from the vehicle without any trouble. However, figuring that the gesture was meant to be polite and considerate, she caved and allowed him to assist her out of the car. Brushing down her skirt and pulling the tank-top back down to where she wanted it to stay, she shot Bacchus a look at his statement about her looks at night. "Too bad I can't look good all the time," she replied without missing a beat, very well aware that he probably hadn't meant any implied insults in his sort of compliment. "And don't think your attempts at sweet talk are going to get you on my good side," she added on with a brief wag of her finger. She was stubborn, and she made sure he knew it.
Not having to pay for anything was certainly a perk, though she also assumed it meant Bacchus would not hold back when it came to demonstrating how much liquor he could hold. She might have to take advantage of it as well, if too much trouble started to crop up in response to her companion. Trouble did seem to follow her, and it certainly wasn't far away when Bacchus was around. She cast a brief glance back at the cab as it pulled away from where they were dropped off and sped down the street. She didn't bother to make a comment when she turned back and saw Bane puffing up like a peacock. She did, however, give him a small tap with her fist when he called her a 'little Sheila' despite the several occasions where she'd reminded him that she was an Isabel. Telling the current bouncer that wouldn't have made any difference. It wasn't likely that he'd remember her name even if she did correct her companion. She just kept on going, allowing the light nudge intended to get her through the doorway.
Even so few as two or three steps inside the club, the music was already booming loud enough for her to feel a light vibration running through her stomach, the colored flashing lights making her pause a moment so her eyes could adjust. There was a decent amount of people crowded in as well, causing a small twinge if claustrophobia to strike somewhere in her mind. When Bacchus voice reached her and caught her attention, she leaned a little closer to him to make sure she caught what he was saying. "I'm stuck here with you all night. I think I'm going to need a drink," she replied, raising her voice accordingly and giving him a small smirk.

Laughing Bacchus called out behind her, “Yeah! My type of girl!” pushing his way through the crowd Bacchus reached the bar and said, “Gonna need two shot glasses and the usual for me Sheila,” he didn’t need to drink as much as he usually did not only was he here at a place like this, but he was here with a friend one of the few American girls he enjoyed to be around.
The order had a few girls he wasn’t a fan of, most of them were bossy and controlling and when that involved him on a mission, didn’t matter how drunk he was, he still sobered up out of irritation. If it wasn’t for a certain girl in the order with a bow telling him not to fight them there was a good chance something could have ‘accidentally’ fell on them, like a giant’s body weighing close to a ton or a car he ‘mistakenly’ dropped. Sighing in annoyance after thinking about these girls his thoughts turned to Jenny, he didn’t know why but whenever he thought of her he wanted to drink till her faced was blurred out. Bacchus thought the only reason behind this was because she left him for dead in a burning building but truth be told it was the fact that she played him like a fiddle then took almost all of the money. One good thing came out of that crap of a meeting he got to meet Isabel.
“Don’t think I am all that bad,” Bacchus said to her as he handed her the shot glass the bar tender handed to him. “Seems you can’t stay away from me, think this cold front of yours is just that a front.” Picking up his pitcher of vodka Bacchus poured a little into the shot glasses and then quickly shook his head as a high powered light shot in his eyes from the ceiling. “How about we find a table?” Bacchus asked as he walked a few steps to the sitting area where others were drinking.
Finding a table Bacchus sat down and put the pitcher between them as Bacchus plopped down into his chair with a shot glass in front of him. “Right, hope you don’t mind Vodka, the drink of champions. If it is to strong for you I can have some one snag you something else, like juice or a nice glass of milk, don’t want those bones losing the calcium.” Laughing as Bacchus downed a shot and felt the burning sensation down his throat he let out a small chuckle as he smiled to Isabel. “So your more of a book worm right?” Bacchus asked remembering the tour he had with her the first day they met.

Not two minutes into the club and Bacchus was already shouting and causing a small scene. Isabel simply made a show of rolling her eyes as they moved off toward the bar. If this was any indication of how the night would go, she thought she'd made the right choice in putting off any dancing for a while. She really didn't know much of anything about drinks, since she'd only ever snuck into a bar for some underage drinking once, that session cut short both by a pompous young man that didn't think she could handle strong liquor, and then a rampaging werewolf. Needless to say, she had gained very little knowledge or experience concerning the world of alcohol. Trusting Bacchus with the decision probably wasn't the wisest choice, but she trusted him insofar as believing he wouldn't give her anything she couldn't handle. He never was unnecessarily mean to her. He just tended to tease. Of course, the same could not be said for her. She knew where she stood and she made sure certain people knew it as well. Most of what she did was retaliation anyhow.
"You don't think you seem all that bad because you don't have to put up with your own crap," she shot back, carefully taking the small glass that was handed to her, standing perfectly still as some of the liquor was poured into it. "Most of the time we're all caught up in some kind of bet, so that hardly counts as voluntarily hanging out with you," she continued, following after Bacchus as he headed toward the sitting area. She'd probably need to be sitting depending on how much alcohol she ended up drinking. "Plus, there is absolutely nothing wrong with going out to have a few drinks with a friend." Besides, Bacchus didn't mind if things got messy while they were out. He let her have her fun without any complaints, and he put up with her comments without much, if any, offense. She didn't have too many friends back at the Sanctuary that did the same. Bacchus was someone she could count on to drag her out of the building to get involved in one brand of trouble or another, despite and protests she made. Of course, her given reason was enough of a reason for her. There was no need to voice anything else.
Though of course, there were times when she was paid back for whatever insults she tossed when he threw out a few of his own. Juice or milk. She'd show him who could handle their liquor. "Vodka is just fine," was her curt reply before she followed his lead and downed her own shot glass. Involuntarily her face scrunched up and her toes curled as she swallowed the liquor and felt it burn all the way down, unsuccessfully trying to muffle a couple of coughs. With as much dignity as she could muster, she let her shoulders relax and set the glass back down on the table to be filled again at her leisure. She could so handle vodka. "Yeah, I guess you could call me that," she answered, her mind still mostly preoccupied with the after effects of what she just put into her body and failing to notice the oddity of Bacchus actually striking up a somewhat normal conversation. "The Library at the Sanctuary is nice and quiet. I can go up there whenever I want to get away from people and just bury myself in some book I find. Mister King really did do a good job of filling those shelves. And you, you're more of a burning building escaping, Isabel harassing streaker that likes to cause trouble?" With a grin she moved to refill her shot glass. Vodka. So not a problem.

Not knowing who Mr. King was but Bacchus didn’t ask he just nodded and understood. He two had a few places he liked to go where he could be to himself and that was the bar, the ‘Hole in the Wall’ bar to be exact. Sure he had to work there and there were people there but that was his sanctuary. Everything there was familiar, which was what he needed since coming to an unfamiliar country. The fact that it reminded him so much of the bars back home was another reason he was there so much.
Letting out another small laugh Bacchus said, “That’s a mouthful but I guess you could say that, although trouble usually finds me.” He grinned and downed another shot like it was water. His face unlike Isabel’s didn’t change a fact he thought was rather funny. “First time drinking?” Bacchus asked as he made a playful mock expression back at Isabel when he took another shot of the drink. “I remember my first time…” his face quickly retracted the smile on his face when he thought of his dead beat dad, “Think I was eleven or twelve…”
Just ask quickly as the smile faded Bacchus’s face lit up again before he would be sucked back into thinking of the financial situation he was in and the situation his friends were in. “Well after this you up for a little dancing?” Bacchus asked with a smile on his face, “I don’t think the dancing you did at the ball gave you justice and frankly I would like to see how coordinated you were.”
Taking another few more shots Bacchus quickly drained half the pitcher on his own. Every now and then he refilled Isabel’s glass weather she wanted it refilled or not. It was a night to blow steam and have a good time.

"It most certainly is not my first time drinking," Isabel replied defensively. It was her second time drinking, thank you very much. She was now determined to build up some kind of tolerance to Vodka by the end of the night. At the very least, she'd work on not making such exaggerated faces. And to prove it, she downed another shot, doing her very best to keep her expression in check, but not quite able to prevent a minor cringe from distorting it. An improvement was better than nothing. And the only way to continue improving was to have another shot. She made a point to stick her tongue out at Bacchus before she did so. "Eleven or twelve. You're insane," she commented after her glass had been emptied again, still unable to prevent a small grimace from appearing. "God, it's no wonder you don't make faces." Pft, stupid Bane making fun of her when he'd been drinking that long. So unfair.
"Dancing?" she parroted, watching as her glass was refilled again. It looked like they were both determined to mess her up somehow, which she hadn't exactly planned on doing. She knew she couldn't match him drink for drink, but she'd stick it out as long as she could to prove some point, though she wasn't exactly sure what that point was just yet. Probably that she wasn't a pushover in any way. Maybe. She was starting not to care. "I don't think you're going to get a whole lot of coordination out of me, kid. Especially when you're filling me up with this stuff," she continued, lightly flicking her filled glass on the table and then leaving it be for the moment. She felt like it might all come up again if she didn't slow down a little. She could still prove a point without rushing. "I don't need to impress you anyway." Isabel went out dancing about as often as she went drinking. She didn't know any overly impressive moves. However, she wouldn't back down and let Bacchus tease her about it.

Nodding Bacchus said, “Insane is only a perspective, I like to think of my self as more of an eccentric,” hoping he could ruffle her feathers a bit Bacchus smiled and said, “You know when you scrunch your face up like this, “He tried to imitate her drinking face and said, “you look so cute!” he laughed a little and finished the pitcher without the shot glass and grinned as he stood up and grabbed her by the hand and said, “Right let’s see how uncoordinated you are.” Right before he dragged her down to the dance floor Bacchus let out a small laugh and downed Isabel’s last shot, “Don’t want you getting all sick on me little Sheila/”
Hoping down the stairs in a dancing manor Bacchus gave Isabel’s hand a small squeeze before he jumped down to the dance floor and worked his way into the crowd. Bacchus loved crowds they were fun for a number of reasons, you could find an interesting girl, or start a fight in the middle and be the center of attention. He only hoped Isabel loved crowds as much as he did.
As a precaution Bacchus’s body filled out a little more making him look more like a body builder which gave him and Isabel some moving room inside the large crowd of dances. Starting by rocking his legs Bacchus let out a laugh and started to bop his head. “Let’s see those dance moves,” Bacchus yelled as he grabbed her by the hand to give her a little twirl.

"Insane, eccentric, call it whatever you will, but you're hardly ordinary, kid," she replied, doubting he could argue her point too much further. If he took it as a compliment, it may even end that much sooner. Then again, it could very well erupt into a whole new argument. She'd simply leave it at that for now. She had other things to think about. Like him making fun of her again. "Yeah, too bad the same can't be said for you," she shot back as he commented on what he called her drinking face. Still, she couldn't help but grin in amusement at the imitation face he made. She tacked on a "Showoff," as he downed what remained in the pitcher as well as the shot glass she'd left sitting on the table. If it were anyone else she'd be worried about that much alcohol being consumed so quickly. However, she hardly thought it would do much damage to this particular drinker.
Her grin quickly faded into an expression of surprise as she was hauled out of her seat by her hand before being dragged toward the dance floor. She'd agreed to dance with Bacchus at some point, she just hadn't expected to actually be towed down to the dance floor, especially when having to stand so quickly made her head begin to swim. She would have paused to steady herself had she been able to. Instead she just went with the motion, trying to keep her balance as the dizziness died down. "I am not going to be sick," she protested, hoping that her stomach would stay settled and not seek to embarrass her and turn her into a liar. "And I'm an Isabel!"
Crowds weren't usually on Isabel's list of favorite things. It was a crowd that had set off things like the Sanctuary Massacre. However, a crowd like the ones in a club wasn't quite the same somehow. It was easier to fit into a dancing crowd and to simply go with the motions. The music was probably a large part of it. It was easy to get lost in the melody of a song and to let yourself lose track of your cares and just have fun. This particular crowd also wasn't made up of overwhelming numbers. It was comfortable enough to move around in, which Bacchus also helped to make sure of. She could see him puffing out his muscles again, though she didn't have any time to make any sort of comment about it before she was spun by her dance partner.
Her look of surprise was back again as she went with the motion, quickly moving to catch herself as the momentum slowed, the grip she had on one of his hands tightening slightly as her free hand absentmindedly reached for his other arm to help steady herself. Once she was sure she wasn't going to fall she couldn't help but laugh a little at the ridiculous pang of panic she'd felt with the sudden disorientation, the pleasant buzz she was experiencing helping her mood to remain on the positive side for now. "It's not fair telling me not to get sick and then pulling a stunt like that," she complained, though her grin had returned as she spoke. Almost cautiously she began swaying her hips to the music, he movement gaining a bit more confidence once she was sure she was able to keep her balance and had gotten the beat of the music down.

Trying his best to resist from laughing at Isabel Bacchus could not help but grin and give a small chuckle, either she wasn’t ready for the spin or she was already intoxicated. ‘How many was that’ Bacchus wondered as he felt Isabel latch on to him to regain her balance. Again Bacchus wanted to say something but instead replaced it with, “Watch your step their Sheila, hope your not drunk already, night is just getting started.” He couldn’t’ but pity Isabel for not having the growth ability he had, a pitcher of vodka and he was only slightly buzzed, Bacchus was just going to have to tone it down like he usually did when he was drinking with his buddies back home, three drinks to their one.
Leaning down Bacchus said, “Dancing will take care of that buzz you got for round…” feeling someone bumping into him Bacchus looked up and noticed there was a girl on his back side dancing a little to close to him. She was cute but a drunken mess, highly unattractive. Turning his head back to Isabel he noticed a guy was starting to get to close to her. “A sandwich?” Bacchus asked as he looked at the position he was in, “this is kind of ridiculous…” he looked to Isabel and nodded his head off to the side as Bacchus stepped out form the sandwich, and continued to dance as the two drunks decided to move off away from Bacchus and Isabel, “That was weird” Bacchus said as he looked down to Isabel and grinned.
He didn’t know what it was about Isabel tonight, the way she dressed or the fact that she had a few drinks under her belt, but either way she was seeming less and less abrasive than her usual personality, he didn’t even have to bet her to come out tonight. Either she was an alien that took the look of Isabel or she was starting to have fun with him. “You having fun yet or do we need to get a little more fuel in your system?” of course the “Fuel” Bacchus was speaking of was alcohol.

"I am so not drunk," Isabel protested, sticking her tongue out childishly in response to the grin that found its way onto his face. "It's going to take more than a handful of shots to knock me out. At the most I'm buzzed." A part of her was wondering if she was only just saying that, but for the most part she was pretty sure what she said was true. She just didn't go out to clubs and didn't go dancing very often, so it was a little easier to catch her off guard.
At least she was getting a break in between pitchers of alcohol. It figured that Bane would get a whole pitcher of that stuff. She'd never seen anyone else do it before, but then again no one else could enlarge their entire system to increase their tolerance to the amount of intake. She'd never be able to get through the much. She didn't think she'd even get through an entire bottle. But at least since she'd been dragged down to the dance floor she'd have time to let everything digest and work through her system. It wouldn't in any way completely sober her up, but she figured it'd help a bit.
It sounded as if Bacchus was speaking to confirm her assumptions when her own attention was grabbed away from the individual at her back, the stranger having surprised her when she was bumped into. She couldn't help but laugh a bit, not only at the disheveled look of the unknown young man, but also at the look on Bane's face. Giving the stranger a brief bump of her shoulder, more to move him back a little than to encourage him at all, she didn't waste any time in following after Bacchus as he moved them away from the unknown pair. "Weird in more way than one," she agreed, grinning up at her companion as well. "I'm not used to playing nice in a crowd."
She paused a moment before she made a reply to Bacchus' last question. She was beginning to feel a little more relaxed, and she could say she was having fun, but she wasn't completely done drinking for the night, either. She figured she could have a few more rounds before she got in over he head. The main issue was exactly how much alcohol Bane would be including in his idea of 'more fuel'. In the least she figured it was safe to assume whatever she didn't drink herself wouldn't go to waste with Bane as her drinking partner. "I guess a few more shot's wouldn't hurt."

‘Few more?’ Bacchus thought as he grinned, “We are getting you drunk tonight!” he let out a laugh at the thought of getting Isabel drunk and wondered if she was nicer when drunk than she was when she was having fun. He wouldn’t need to worry about her stabbing someone out of nowhere… well that wasn’t really a number one concern of his anyways, he didn’t really care when she stabbed someone just like he figured she didn’t mind when he had his fun.
Grabbing Isabel’s hand in a loose hold Bacchus led her to the bar, sure she could have gotten out but why not follow the human crowd breaker. Bacchus was something you saw coming and moved apart for, and he was sure some people would get a kick out of the now seven foot giant pulling a petite yet somewhat tall girl behind him. He could have made it more comical but the ceiling wasn’t that high and he didn’t want to cause a mass panic. After all he did work here as a bouncer.
As they approached the bar Bacchus looked to the bar tender and said, “Pitcher of Lager” hoping the bartender wouldn’t make a point to say he had an accent of some kind because of the way he said Lager, out of all the bar tenders she seemed to Bacchus to be the most ditzy, which didn’t stop him from messing with her.
Looking to Isabel he smiled and gave her a fact of wisdom, “Beer before liquor you’ll never be sicker, liquor before beer your in the clear…” at least that's how he remembered it when Jon told him back home, but then again they were at the bar and the bar tender forgot to not let them sit by the tap. His mistake, they had to close the bar early that night because they ran out of beer.
As the bartender returned she placed two pitchers in front of them, one was what he asked for the other was something he wasn’t familiar with. Before Bacchus could as the bar tender pointed over to a man in the corner of the bar who was looking at him and Isabel, “guy says it’s for her”. Bacchus stared at the man for a second then looked back to Isabel and frowned slightly. Picking up the unfamiliar contents of one pitcher Bacchus drained it in two large gulps and then slammed the pitcher down.
Sticking up his hand Bacchus shot the man a finger and said, “She’s with me to night, Mozzie wish you luck else where…” Bacchus picked up the other pitcher of the drink he ordered and put his arm around Isabel and ushered her away somewhat more protectively than was needed they weren’t even dating but still no one scams on a girl he is with, it was just rude. “Can you believe that bloke trying to get your attention with that god awful tasting beer?” said Bacchus as he made a face to Isabel so she would know how it tasted, "Let's get a table..."
"Is that a threat or a promise?" Isabel shot back, grinning slyly up at her drinking partner. She'd planned on slowing to a stop in her alcohol consumption sometime during the night when she felt as if she'd had enough. Getting fall down drunk just didn't sound so appealing to her, and while the drinking was turning out to be fun so far, somewhere in the back of her mind she knew she'd have to deal with the after effects in the morning. If she could cut them back to a bearable level, she'd be much more pleased. "Not that I'm trying to turn this into another challenge or anything," she added in as an after thought. "We've gotten this far without making any bets. I think we can pass the rest of the night the same way." It seemed like all the past times they'd hung out together was in response to a threat to both of their prides. It was a nice change to just go out and have fun for the sake of having fun.
She allowed herself to be towed back to the bar, hardly paying any mind to the people they disrupted by plowing through the crowd. She didn't think she'd be by herself for too long if her and Bane did get separated by the various other people enjoying their night out. It was hard not to locate someone that could grow to just about any height he wanted. Losing him wasn't so much of a concern as getting stuck with another pair of people like the ones that had bumped into them on the dance floor. She could manage to play nice in a crowd, but she wasn't exactly sure how long her tolerance could hold up, especially with something like alcohol to impair her already questionable judgment in those types of situations.
She'd figured Bane would be ordering another pitcher of Vodka, rather than something a little tamer, though she supposed she shouldn't have been surprised. She really didn't know Bane's drinking preferences. She'd just known that he usually had some source of booze on his person at most times. Drinking habits like that would normally be a concern, but with his abilities she doubted that his liver couldn't handle the abuse. "If I ever go out drinking again, I'll be sure to keep that in mind," she promised after hearing the little rhyme recited by her companion. It was definitely something valuable to know, especially if this kind of past time became a more frequent occurrence. She certainly didn't want to be getting sick. A potential hangover would be bad enough.
The arrival of the second pitcher of beer was, however, was entirely unexpected. She paid less attention to Bane chugging the entire pitcher than she did to the man that the bartender had pointed out. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but he seemed familiar somehow. But that could have just been her mind playing tricks on her in the light fog that was settling in her head. Either way, the guy made her a little uneasy and she just hoped Bane's threats and imposing size would end the issue. She didn't really feel up to mutilating anyone at that moment.
She allowed Bane to once again usher her through the club and away from the bar, grinning widely at the face he made to emphasize his point. "People tend to be a little stupid sometimes. Especially if they've got booze in them. I think I'd let him plead momentary insanity, trying to cut in on a guy your size." Even when Bane wasn't using his mutation, he was still a good half a foot taller than she was. When he sprouted up even further, she wasn't the only one that had to crane her neck when speaking to him or trying to look him in the face.
Once they'd found a table she took a seat and settled in, pouring herself half a glass of whatever kind of beer was in the pitcher. She'd heard that beer wasn't exactly one of the most pleasant tasting selections when it came to alcohol, but she'd try most anything at least once. "Exactly how much does it take to get you drunk anyway?" she asked, casually pointing a finger at Bane. "You've had what, nearly two pitchers of booze. I think I'd be near comatose after that." Testing the contents of her glass, her expression distorted once more, much to her displeasure. It was going to take some time to get used to drinking.

Bacchus poured the first glass of the beer, as he couldn’t really understand what Isabel said, it had something to do with drinking, “…Lots….” Bacchus said as he shook his head feeling himself get light headed. He shook it off at first as he grabbed his drink and poured it into his mouth as it made a loud splashing sound. He blinked as he tasted the beer in his mouth and looked to Isabel, he set his glass down and as he set it down small ripples of blue were given off from the bottom of the glass.
Reaching out Bacchus tried grabbing one of the blue ripples as he looked up at Isabel as she and everything behind her seemed to move in slow motion, “Whoa…” was all Bacchus could say as he noticed things that weren’t there before. His eyes got bigger as his pupils expanded letting large amounts of light making it that much brighter, Bacchus looked around and spotted something in the middle of the dance floor and then looked to Isabel, “It’s a whee little leprechaun!” Bacchus said as he spotted a midget in the crowd with red hair.
Bacchus clapped his hands and felt as his weight broke the stool he was sitting on. After he got up he walked over to Isabel and said, “it’s a leprechaun, can we go dance with him please?” Bacchus asked the way a kid asked for a new toy, “Maybe he can give us a pot of gold!” without much warning as the colors around him started to swirl about Bacchus flipped the table with his beer that him and Isabel were drinking. The table crashed to the ground to where his broken stool was.
With a happy look on his face Bacchus followed the lights to the leprechaun who was in the center of the crowd and from there Bacchus looked down and his shirt was gone. At some point he either took it off or it ripped off for his body was bigger than it was before. Looking down to the Leprechaun that wasn’t there Bacchus asked, “How do I get to your gold?” ”Just dance” was all the little leprechaun could say as he began to dance.
Bacchus’s head started to bob as This started to play in the background. All he knew was if he had to dance to get his hands on that pot of gold that's what he was going to do.

With the exception of a little mental sluggishness due to the amount of alcohol that she'd ingested, it didn't really take Isabel all that long to figure out that something wasn't right. She didn't like the sudden behavioral change in her companion one little bit, especially since at the moment she couldn't think of what might have triggered it. She knew he couldn't possibly have been drunk from what he'd had so far. His estimation of 'lots' was proof enough for her of that. "Bacchus? You don't look so well. Are you alright?" she questioned tentatively as his fingers grasped for something she couldn't see and his gaze drifted from her to other random points around the room, though he didn't seem to be focusing on anything in particular.
That's when the thought of the second pitcher of beer entered her head. Leave it to Bane to down the contents rather than leave it where it had been placed. It seemed that she'd been justified in her uneasiness toward the unknown individual. Of course, when she let her gaze scan across the room, she no longer found him where he'd previously been seated, nor anywhere else in the club. She'd have to remember to thank the individual if she ever ran into him again. What truly worried her was the though that the contaminated booze had been meant for her, not for her companion. If it was messing him up so quickly, she could only imagine what effects it would have had on her mind and body.
"Jesus!" she exclaimed as Bane's chair suddenly shattered beneath him, his mention of a leprechaun momentarily forgotten as she quickly stood from her own seat instinctively to see if he'd been hurt by the fall. Before she could say another word he was yelling about the leprechaun once again, very nearly getting right up in her face to do so, causing her to back off a step or two. "What the hell are you talking about, Bane? There's nothing out th- Oh shi-!" Again she scrambled back a few steps as their table was flipped, trying to prevent her toes from being caught as the piece of furniture spun up on a corner before crashing to the ground
She hesitated a moment as he took off in the direction the imagined creature was supposedly in. It was easy enough to see that gradually as he moved around he was wavering between shrinking and growing, his shirt having been ripped and lost during one of the growth spurts. She could only assume his weight and density were being affected as well from the way his seat had snapped. A giant on a rampage wasn't safe for anyone, and even she was a bit worried by it. If his mood turned and he went on the offensive, she didn't want to be caught in his way. If she became a target, she'd have to fight back to avoid letting herself get killed. Bane was her friend, and despite the jabs she sometimes took at him, she'd never consider truly harming him.
As the dance floor cleared in a hurry, she went against the flow of people down toward the lower floor, stopping about halfway down the stairs. "Bane!" she called, shouting as she tried to have herself heard over the loud music, attempting to grab his attention away from the imagined individual he was speaking with. Cautiously she ventured down to the bottom of the stairs, warily keeping an eye on waving arms and kicking legs as the Giant moved. "I think it's time we go back to the Sanctuary! Whatever's gotten into your system, you need to sleep it off!"

As the music continued Bacchus threw his arms and legs about in circular motions bring it back and forth and then going into something that resembled a faster version of ‘the robot’. As he and his new green and orange little friend continued to dance Bacchus’s eyes darted around as more and more hues of colors ran off peoples bodies as the exits became crowded as more and more people tried to get out of the building. He didn’t know why everyone was leaving things were starting to become so real. As his eyes darted around Bacchus’s vision darted over to Isabel.
Grinning as he continued to dance as if he was having a seizure on the dance floor Bacchus waved to her and continued to dance. He had never felt like this before every muscle in his body every fiber of his being was venting and screaming in pure awesomeness, that was the only way it could be described. Bacchus never before felt so alive and the only person sharing it with him was the leprechaun. Why wasn’t Isabel dancing?
His left shoe blew apart as his foot grew and shrunk as he started stopping around reaching for the colors in the air above him as he heard Isabel call his name, looking over to her Bacchus smiled and waved her over, “The Leprechaun, told us to dance!” he said as he jumped up and down shaking the dance club. “Screw sleep!” Bacchus called out as he started to do a funky square dance with the leprechaun, “Gotta dance!” The music kept going to the end of the song and stopped.
Looking around very disappointed Bacchus’s eyes started to water, “It stopped…” he looked to Isabel and said, “Why did it stop?” ”Well you know what you have to do now don’tcha?” Bacchus crouched down to the ground as his feet and arms started grow then shrink, “What magic leprechaun what should I do?” Burn the place down! Teach these bastards a lesson for killing the music that makes you ‘free to feel good’!” Bacchus nodded as he got up and did something similar to the moon walk over t the bar as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a Zippo lighter with a ‘silver knight chess piece’ on it.
Picking up a bottle of some drink Bacchus drank a bit then lit his Zippo in front of his mouth and spit the liquid out causing it to act like a flamethrower, which quickly caught the other drinks on fire. Pointing to Isabel Bacchus said, “Let’s go find some where else to dance…” walking towards the exit Bacchus called out, “Come on magic leprechaun!” Bacchus looked to where he was before and frowned, “He’s gone…”
Bacchus was ready to start crying again as he spotted the leprechaun dancing around the fire laughing throwing gold in the fames, which quickly caught fire, “lil’ Bastard!” called out Bacchus as the leprechaun betrayed him. Picking up a chair Bacchus threw it at the leprechaun and watched him fall into the flames, only to make a ‘gha’ sound followed by a loud scream out in pain.
When the left the now burning club Bacchus’s limbs continued to grow and shrink, looking to Isabel Bacchus asked, “Why did he lie to me Isabel I danced with him but he set his gold on fire…” tears were forming and falling around Bacchus faces as he looked up at the building surrounding them which looked black and white like it was in that crappy music video Bacchus hated as a kid… “Uh-ohhh.” Said Bacchus as black lines started shooting across his field of vision.
