The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Aura tied her hair back with a tight black ribben, she wnated to see what was about to happen as much as she could, and the better vistion you had, he more chance you would live, not that she expected much of an issue here. It had been a decent length car ride across the state to, the Late Doctors, house, the car stopped three houses away. Aura Got out and stood on the Sidewalk, with a smile on her face. Today She planned to prove her worth, tonight. Their was no moon in the sky, so it was a bit darker then normal, From her excitement her aura was already becoming viable around her, she looked down at the House, it was a nice three story Building, and the only light on was in the second story window, but it gave few details as to what room it was.
Aura however had studied the floor plan on the way, the adults would likely be in the master bedroom, which was in the back. Making Her aura solid around her wrist, her aura cut through the thin metal fence without a sound, despite their not really being a need to do so as the gate was slightly open already. Still Aura was excited to get to work, it brought a serenity to her mind she had not felt for quite some time. Walking through the gate she looked at the front door and for a brief moment wondered if their was any kind of security system installed, to get the job done properly, the police should not be called except to pick of the pieces and write the obitcherary. She looked back as she waited, their was no rush, still her pink aura, surrounded her and she flexed her back a little. Putting her finger close to the lock she concentrated her aura, and shoved it into the lock, a light thus was heard. "We can have far more fun, if we give them a surprise party" she said with a smile. Her action was not out of a lack of aggression, rather a want for more play time in the house, opening the door with a creek, she waved to the inside of the spotless house.
Isabel was almost disappointed that her small group hadn't gone out and visited the various places the Doctor frequented, which Abyss had carefully included in his folder of information. She would have liked to play with this man for a few days first, if he was really going to be made to suffer, but the mission had seemed to be somewhat urgent, so she couldn't blame anyone for wanting to go to the Doctor directly. Honestly, she was also anxious to give the man a visit. She didn't know much about him, but she could guess enough that he'd hurt Abyss in some fashion to earn the red mutant's hatred. That was enough of an excuse for her. Anyone that hurt her friends was a target in her mind and she utterly enjoyed getting back at them for the harm they had done.
By the time they had reached the good Doctor's house, her thoughts of indirect torture were all but forgotten, her focus fully shifting to the targets that lived within the house, most probably asleep by now. They were in for a seriously rude awakening. Casually she followed behind Aura, the girl's namesake quickly making itself known with it's slight glow, the surrounding light perhaps a little brighter than usual simply because it was so dark out. She didn't bother stepping through the passageway the girl cut through the fence, or really even waiting for her to create that mode of entry, using the gate's ajar opening instead while the girl worked.
As Aura made her assessment of the security system, Isabel allowed her gaze to wander over the outside of the building. Two floors, several windows easily large enough to fit a body through, hedges bordering the house's lower level, a nice large door with a glass window set into it and ornate glass running the length of the wooden door on either side. The Doctor obviously wasn't short on cash, though he wouldn't be needing any of it much longer. Perhaps she could find some to bring home with her. The Order was by no means in need of such petty funding, but if they were going to trash the house and its inhabitants, why not take a few souvenirs when they left?
Carefully stepping inside the house after Aura has opened the door and presented the dark interior, she quickly set about looking for any installed security systems, knowing that most were right by the door. Predictably there was one stuck up on the wall just a short ways along the wall. "Guess you were right, Aura," she commented, long, needle-sharp spines sliding from the tips of her fingers as she spoke. Lifting her hand she placed the tips of the bones in several areas of the control pad and in one quick motion drove them through the device, severing wires and destroying the little speakers in the box, leaving it to hiss and spark when she'd finished. Should it send a silent call to the police, then so be it. She was always up for a little fun.
"I don't know if that thing can send a silent signal, but if it does, there'll be a phone call here shortly," she said, voicing her thoughts. "If you'd rather not have any interruptions, I'd suggest you find what phones you can and get rid of them. I don't care either way," she continued, speaking mainly to Aura, having recalled her surprise party comment at the door. As for her, she was ready to get down to business. Eagerly she moved away from the door and dying security system, setting out to find the stairway to the upper level of the house and find who she could up there. Most families kept their bedrooms on the top floor, leaving more public rooms on the lower level. If she was going to have her fun, she wouldn't waste any time in searching downstairs.

The three slowly crept up to the street coming to a rolling stop only a few house’s away from the target house. Gore reached down and cut the lights and glanced over his shoulder. The little brat was sitting in the back almost with a look on her face like she was disappointed but Gore didn’t have the time. He quickly got out of the SUV and started to cross the street. A few steps in front were the new girl almost as bright as the street lights on the street making them a straight path to the good doctor’s house.
Gore watched on as Issie took care of the security system, as the box hung from the wall spitting sparks and no longer looking anything more than a hunk of scrap Gore thought it was time to have some fun. Issie made a quick dash for the stairs as Gore went to the kitchen. He wasn’t in no hurry, the security system was down and from the looks of it they had a lot of left over’s. Gore opened up the fridge and began to search through. ‘What the hell is this? This thing is packed but they aint got shit…. OH OH OH what do we have here?’ Gore reached in the back pulling out a plate of fried chicken and two bottles of beer. ‘Know point in killing on an empty stomach.’ As Gore turned he watched a rat sprint across the kitchen and forced itself under the oven. For such a nice house he didn’t expect to see any rats but oh well.
Gore walked out the kitchen looking around the lower portion of the house. He walked in one room and there where toys all over. A few Barbies were crushed under his Tim’s as he bit into down into another piece of half decent chicken. Hmm nothing on the 1st floor, so everybody has to be up stairs. As Gore reached the final stair he tilted his head back and chugged what was left of the first beer...”Now, that was damn good.” He said looking at the girls as they were searching through rooms.
Aura entered the house, Watching Isabel disable the security system she smiled and gave only a nod to Isabel's comment on getting rid of the phone's, which was a good idea in itself. Still something seemed off, as if things were just two quite. Looking around the living room she put a finger down on the table, wiping a way some of the dust that had collected on it while she did she knocked over a plastic cup of some sort of soda which absorbed into the carpet. Looking down the hall way, she saw Gore eating in the Kitchen. It looked like he had found some kind of chicken, she guessed the family would not be needing it.
Aura Opened the door of the bedroom on the first floor, as she walked in, it was obviously a guest room, the bed was well made and the room was a nice shade of blue. Their was no one in it, Aura formed a blade on her wrist cutting into the wooden closet door as she opened it. Their was just some cloths in bags in it and some shoes but none of the targets were present, exiting the room she went into the one next to it, the bathroom. She had to turn on the light and again no one was thare, just various cosmetics and toothpaste.
Looking up the stairs, Aura quickly made her way up the stairs looking around, the doors were closed and so she made her way to the right of the stairwell. She smiled at Gore came up after her, and finished the beer, she had never liked the stuff herself. She had wondered if the downstairs room Gore had gone into had been some sort of play room. Aura was beginning to wonder if the good Doctor was even home, maybe it would have good not to have taken such a direct route. They were there now though and Aura pushed open a door and walked in, her hand searching for the light on the wall.
Isabel only kept a portion of her attention on her two companions as she crept up the stairs, the majority of her focus on finding those that were supposed to be in the house and having her fun. She only paused a moment at the top of the stairs before continuing down the hallway, glancing over to Aura only briefly as the new Order member followed soon after and continued her own explorations. It was nearly quiet enough to hear a pin drop, with the exception of Gore's comments. She nearly began doubting that anyone was home. However, it was certainly late enough that most people would be securely tucked into their beds. She was pretty sure she'd seen a car in the driveway as well. Silently she chalked up her momentary lapse in certainty to her building anticipation. She'd had to remind herself several times already that a sneaking approach was more fun than rushing in, no matter how much more exciting the final confrontation was.
Quietly she sauntered down the hall, casually tilting picture frames and turning thermostats on her way, playing with anything and everything that fell into her path. One, two, three doors she pushed open only to be disappointed with their vacancy. The house was large, yes, but was there really a need for so many extra rooms? Guest rooms seemed to be a favorite of the family, though very few of them actually looked as if they'd been used within any recent period of time. A bathroom and a closet were also discovered, each receiving a little make-over as she pulled things off their hangers and out of cabinets, redistributing them all over the place as she retreated back into the hallway. She was beginning not to care if anyone in the house heard what she was up to. Let someone grab a bat or a gun and come after her. They couldn't really do anything in ways of harming her, though she did love seeing them try.
Finally the next door she opened seemed to yield some more positive results, though they still weren't really what she was hoping for. It looked to be a bedroom, but it wasn't the good Doctor's. From the look of things, this one was actually lived in, and seemed as if it belonged to a younger member of the family. Walking through the door as if the room was her own, she set about snooping around, her curiosity momentarily getting in the way of her anticipation with meeting the head of the household. With a look of near puzzlement, she went about poking and prodding at the various stuffed animals, the dolls, and the accessories that accompanied them. When she was content with her explorations of the toys, leaving a number of them scattered on the floor, she set about pulling the drawers out of the pair of dressers that were positioned in the room and letting the clothes fall wherever they would, treading on them and kicking them out of her way as she explored the few objects on the tops of the dressers. She paid no heed to the bed or the lump under the covers as she investigated. She'd make her way over to that bit of furniture in time. Until then, the jewelery box held her attention.
