Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Nothing in the world could give the same kick as shopping. A rush different from most drugs, and beverages, better than sugar, and healthier as well. As Karl Lagerfeld had once mentioned, 'Fashion is the healthiest way to lose weight'. Perhaps not really the healthiest way, but giving the little extra motivation to go that extra mile. New York City, one of the most exciting cities in the world. Something always happened there, and with all the different cultures and people, it gives the whole city something extra. Fashion is a big part of the city, and the shopping opportunities are great. He loved brands, though he could never have afforded buying the things he wanted.
Earlier on he had met a woman, older than him, yet around his age. She was pretty nice, despite the fact that she did come off as a bit silent for his taste. Though it could just have been that incident. The special thing about her on the other hand was the fact that she had green skin. It wasn't exactly a bad thing as it could always be worse, she could have ended up with spider legs, or having scales. Her green skin on the other hand always made him want to belt out the soundtrack from Wicked, which of course was a pretty good thing. After their first meeting, Alexander had been able to manipulate Andrea to want to hang out with him another time. Oh the poor soul, hanging out with him could be rather annoying but also fun, if there was stuff to talk about that was.
So one day when Alexander was walking in the hallway, he met up with Andrea who was on her way out. He wasn't sure if it was her own free will, or fear of the wrath of Alexander that made her ask Alexander to come with her. Seeing as he hadn't been outside of the mansion a lot since he got there, he decided by himself that this was a perfect time since he was already wearing outside appropriate clothing as long as he changed his shoes. He made her wait a little while so that he could have the chance to change shoes, get his bag and wallet. He had been saving up the little allowance he had been getting since he arrived at the mansion, plus a little extra he had brought with him. If there was something he wanted it was new shoes, and a new bag, and if there was money to spare, maybe a pair of sunglasses. It would also be great to go to some of the Vintage stores, that could lead to a lot of great finds, sometimes more reasonable.
Taking the bus always feel like it takes forever, even though it's not even a long trip. He realised once he got off the bus that he was in fact not that far away from where his parents, and where he had once lived before coming to the mansion. He looked at Andrea who got off the bus after him. "So, was there any place in particular you wanted to go to, or should we just go from here and see where we get?" Of course just walking around would be kind of fun, because you could end up going to stores you normally wouldn't notice, and perhaps find something great. "I know that there are some nice vintage stores around the Lower East Side though, perhaps we could go there later, what do you think?" He asked Andrea.
Somehow her day had gone from secluded and quite peaceful, to something entirely different. Now she was sitting next to Alex- the boy she had met in the kitchen with Carrick- on a bus...with someone who smelled quite bad boxed in beside her. She still couldn't quite grasp how he has talked her into coming. As the bus slowed to a stop, Mr. Smelly beside her stood- as well as Alex- and she was forced to stand as well. They moved out onto the street, where Andrea adjusted her t-shirt and shorts. Alex had really caught her at a bad time.. coming back from the kitchen with a full stomach and all.
His question caused her to jump back to the present, and while she rubbed at her throbbing skull with one hand she contemplated an answer. "...uh...." Her mind blanked, like it usually did when it came to subjects like shopping. Where did she want to go?...Home. That would be rude to say however, and she didn't want to upset Alex. "I guess we should just walk around...or go where ever you want to. I'm really not that good at...buying things." Her nose wrinkled and she picked at her shirt absently. His next question threw her for a loop even more. Vintage? As in, really old things? So.... they were to but clothes... from ages past. All she could think about was rips, tears, tye-dye and lots of frill. Andrea felt an eye twitch in horror. Sure, she had a rather bland fashion sense- but... it wasn't that bad, was it?
"Um... sure?" Her stomach growled loudly, hungry again already, as usual. "Do you think we could stop to..." She paused, remembering his finicky appetite, "...uh... snack on?"
Somehow he wasn't at all surprised by Andrea's dormant lack of enthusiasm. Perhaps he out of being nice should just calm down for the current day, perhaps they didn't have to go all over. They could just remain around Broadway and . He looked around the busy rushing people walking past, sometimes glancing around themselves, like he often did. Andrea's comment on how she wasn't any good at buying things made him realise that she really didn't want to be there. He couldn't blame her much, after all he could be very impulsive when he got all excited. Remembering back to the night they met, she hadn't really been that excited over anything then either. Either the day would be a total buzzkill, or Andrea could open up and see past the whole thing and enjoy it a little.
"After you've gotten a snack, we should go to Broadway, there are some stores there I like, and maybe we'll find something nice for you as well." He smiled though his eyes eyed Andrea for a short moment, though her outfit wasn't horrible, she could use a change in the use of color and shapes. "I'm thinking baby pink would be adorable on you." he said jokingly grinning at Andrea.
The twenty two year old flushed and laughed, scratching at her cheek nervously as she patted her stomach with her other hand. She didn't think he would want to know that she probably could eat an entire horse.... "I am up for anything really. I would love to eat at this place you have in mind." She tried to pull off a grin, but her stomach growled again and she muttered a curse at it in Greek. "Eh...Sorry. I didn't...eat a very big lunch." A white lie... but, telling him she had just gotten done stuffing her face before he found her would only add to her strangeness... and she would like to seem as normal as possible when it came to fellow mansion dwellers.
Then he thoroughly confused her by talking about a shop on broad way and how baby pink would look great on her. It took her a few moments of blinking and many mental images before she was able to get her lips up and moving again.
"Really? I had never even thought of wearing pink before.... " She mentioned, picking at the hem of her shirt. Aside from a few floral patters she had owned a looooong time ago, she had mostly stuck to wearing solid, dark colors. White and light blues were also a must in her odd wardrobe, but it was often hard to keep those articles of clothing clean while at work. She wrinkled her nose for a moment, trying to imagine what kind of pink clothing she would find, before turning her gaze back to Alex with a small smile.
"I will take your word for it, since you probably know more about these kinds of things than i do." Then, her eyes rose to their surroundings again and she asked another question. "So, where is this place you used to go...? What kind of food to they served there?" Her head tilted out of curiosity and she blinked once more, safely hidden behind her glasses.
It did seem rather strange how Andrea could be this hungry after she had something for lunch earlier. He himself could have eaten a carrot and he wouldn't feel hungry for hours. Surely they had quite different metabolism. He looked around himself again, turning around a couple of times. "If I remember correctly its further down that street, but I think we should take another street, that one get packed around lunch times, if we go up the street next to the one that's next to this, I think we'll get there faster." he said to Andrea. He sighed and smiled as he looked around, it felt good being in the city again after staying up at the mansion for such a long time.
"Let's start walking down here" he said to Andrea pointing behind her," we just go down there, and continue to the left, and then we just go up, sound good to you?" Well of course it had to, unless she had any better suggestions.
While walking he understood that Andrea hadn't quite understood that he was only joking about the pink. In a way he found it a bit amusing that she actually thought he was mean enough to make her try on pink clothes. "I was only joking about the pink, I'm sure you would have looked very.. cute, but I don't think the cute look is what you would have had in mind, correct?" He asked her.
"The food..?" he said, looking at Andrea, "Well, the food is quite good, well, I go there because they have great vegetarian dishes, but don't worry, they do serve.. meat if that's what you want, beware that I can't say how those dishes taste as I've never tried them." He paused for a moment, and looked around him, he had nothing against people that ate meat, their choice, their body and their appetite."I think perhaps you could go to one of the stands and get something to eat if it's a crisis for you to get something to eat, it's not like I'm dying of hunger myself." Straightening out his shirt he looked at Andrea, wondering what she would do.
Andrea simply nodded followed along beside him. She was rather unfamiliar with the part of town he had brought her to, and did not want to get lost her fist outing with him. "Sounds fine to me." She stated simply, occupying her mind with all of the new things she was seeing. When he explained that he had been joking about the pink, she flushed again and scratched at the back of her head. She hadn't realized... "Eh... sorry. I'm not very good with jokes yet... or sarcasm for that matter." Her eyes dropped to her choice of clothing again and she blinked. "To be honest, I do not really have a look... or at least I don't think i do. The only shopping I have done since coming here was for food and necessities. Aside from having a few things bought for me, I wear what I came over with."
She smiled weakly, and continued scratching until he explained the food choices at the restaurant he was taking her. "No no! I think that is fine. I have yet to eat a fully vegetarian meal, so I am very excited to try it. Why don't you order what you used to get, and I will eat that?"
She smiled more sincerely, and let the tension in her shoulders out a little. She didn't want to seem like she was unhappy to be out with him- it was a very nice gesture for him to take her along with him in the first place. "I have heard about certain curry's that are purely vegetarian, though I admit that I have yet to put any effort into finding one. Other than that I am not very knowledgeable about meatless dishes- though I would love to learn. Perhaps eating less meat will help with my appetite. It is rather savage right now, you see..."
She felt the need to fish out a pen and pad while walking with him, like it was a lesson on picking out sarcastic comments and the like from what people said to you.... but she was pretty sure that would be rather weird and somewhat rude. Instead she simply smiled back, and shrugged the matter off. She would learn eventually, and sayings like 'Oh yes, I Love Opera..' would stop confusing the heck out of her. How was she supposed to know that the person who just said they loved something, actually hated it? Her mind wandered off on the subject, until Alex brought up accessories. This was something she had heard of, but had absolutely no talent with. The only accessory she ever wore was the necklace she had made from one of Verdi's marbles, and it didn't really match anything at all. His comment about her body being 'nice looking' sent her cheeks a blaze. Brown over powered green, and quickly. "C-cuts?"
The very mention of the spinach filled pastry caused her to start salivating just a little. "You did... and it is." She smiled a little as she entered the restaurant. "I have not had it for a good while though, my mother only made it a few times as far as I know..." But boy, how she did miss it.... "Now I know I want to eat here for sure!"
She paused beside him, while he pointed out the old table, and nodded. In a way she figured it must be nice for him to be able to think back on things like that. Of course, she also had to wonder if the friends he spoke of were still friends... Either way, her stomach chose that moment to demand food again, quite loudly, and she folded her arms around it to shush it up. "ur... heh. Let us sit, before I alert the whole building that I am hungry..." She slipped into the closest seat possible, and blinked at Alex. "Really, I am up for trying anything. I will try whatever you have, is that alright?" She didn't want to annoy him or anything... but she felt he had much more experience with the food than she did. "I think I shall get a little Spanakopita on the side though, which I will pay for. It has been a while since I have had it." She paused, fiddling with a little ad on the table, and smiled a little. "Would you like to share it with me?"
Oh how he loved how Andrea seemed to know so little about such simple things about being a girl, or being in a foreign country for that matter. He got to admire her bravery though. Walking around with him for a few hours. Had a clone been made of him, he probably wouldn't even stand hanging out with it. Andrea on the other hand, she seemed so innocent like, she couldn't even get a compliment without blushing. "You don't need to blush, I'm sure people tell you that all the time." And it was all thanks to her metabolism. Like she had told him that time in the kitchen how she could eat without having much trouble gaining weight.
How could it be then, that a woman, who wasn't exactly a butch woman either didn't know what he meant by her looking good in most cuts? Was this some sort of language thing? "Well by different cuts, I mean you could wear many sorts of clothing that are designed to bring out certain parts of your body and make it look good or to get the eye focus on it." He didn't exactly know if Andrea would understand what he meant so it was best to come with examples. It didn't take much thinking, as he already knew most that needed to be say. Shortening it down was the difficult task.
"Look at it this way, and yes I'll do a short version." He started. "A woman, and men too, all usually have flaws, the good thing about clothes is that you can dress them away." Like him, he had difficulties buying pants because his legs were short, and he had to admit that he had bought girl pants more than once. Luckily for him, he knew how to sew. "For instance if you have a short upper body, you should wear brighter colors on your bottom half of the body. But you seem to be rather fine, though kind of short, you can wear jewellery, and high heels on fancy occasions, don't wear it all the time, you don't want to damage your feet, short people make that damage all the time." Oh dear, he did love to talk didn't he? "While I still remember, I think you should really try having a cute, yet rocker..ish outfit, oh I have so many ideas, but for now, let's focus on food."
Happily he smiled as Andrea seemed to know the dish, or well if he knew correctly it was usually not eaten as a main meal in Greece. Not being sure if that kind of fact was correct, he felt pleased that he said the name right. "The food here is pretty good, though I don't know if it is up to the standard your mother made it." He grinned, home cooked meals always tasted good, though it was always made in such large quantities.
Along with Andrea's growling stomach he sat down, he did wonder how some people had stomachs that made more sound than others. His didn't even make half of the sound hers. Nodding to Andrea, the thought of her just being polite didn't really make him happy. What if she didn't even like the food? He didn't even order anything else but the spanakopita, and she only wanted it as a side dish. "Share the spanakopita? Sure I guess, but you do know you are free to order whatever you want, I don't judge, the food I eat will never be able to silence the beast in your stomach by the sound of it."
Flicking through the menu, he looked after any type of dishes Andrea could possibly enjoy. "How does stuffed peppers sound? Or perhaps a vegetable soup?" Somehow it felt all wrong, like it didn't have enough food in it. Andrea who seemed like a person that ate a lot, probably would have to eat twice. "Oh, they do still have the vegetarian paella, we just have to get this" growing up he loved eating paella, though they normally contained meat. "I'm getting one, you should too, I'm paying for it so." He smiled, maybe he could even finish a whole one as well. Looking at Andrea though he perhaps should wait for her to read through the menu. "But don't feel obliged, really. Get whatever you want." He stated with a smile.
Her blush deepened. People told her things all the time... like calling her cute or adorable. She would never understand. In her mind Alex was a more worthy bearer of the cute label than she. He explained what a cut in fashion was, and she nodded. Sudden recollection hit her, and she lifted a finger to her chin. "Oh, like a boot cut, right?" She hadn't seen a normal pair of jeans since leaving Greece. Everything had a specific name, or type. Boot cut, high waisted, low waisted, straight leg...
She preferred straight leg the most. They were just about as comfy as her shorts. He explained further, alleviating some of her confusion, that the cuts helped to define certain areas of the body. personally, she didn't need any help defining things- or, well, she hadn't until she had gotten sick that is... The mention of heels caused her to raise her eyebrows and wiggle her toes in her shoes. "I have never worn high heels...." And then something about a punkish wardrobe. She mind immediately wheeled to Juka and his elaborate fashion, and she imagined herself wearing the same. She paled considerably, and was more than happy when he changed the subject back to food. With a full tummy, she could take on the world.
Maybe, sort of. "Alright, if you insist we shall share the Spanakopita and I will order something else as well." She gazed at her menu, reading through ingredients in dishes quickly, as a waitress approached. Number four had bean sprouts and tofu chunks... something she had yet to try together. The woman whipped out a pen and a pad and waited for orders after introducing herself, Andrea glanced at Alexander before ordering. "I think I shall have number four, and the Spanakopita... with a water, please." The woman jotted her order down with a smile, and turned to Alex. "And for you si- Oh hey! I recognize you..." Her smile widened at the sight of an old diner, and she dropped a hand to her hip. "Long time no see, What can I get you today?"
Alexander smiled by the sight of Andreas blushing. "Yeah..like a.. boot cut." He replied. Hopefully she didn't mention that because she actually liked wearing anything that was boot cut. With her shape she should really try skinny jeans, at least she wasn't wearing anything boot cut at the moment. Unless she was a boot cut lover in the closet. "Though, just between you and me, I think you should never wear boot cut, at least until someone else is dressing you in a nursing home." He, tried saying it jokingly, but he couldn't exactly hide the fact that he had little to no love for the boot cut.
Talking to Andrea had made whatever coming out of her mouth no surprise. She was a girl, but she wasn't known to do a lot of girl things. He couldn't exactly blame her for not wearing heels before, from what he had seen and heard, it wasn't exactly a walk on roses, barefoot. How high heels could mess up your toes among other thing however, didn't bother him too much. "Well, after we've finished eating, let's go look at shoes, it's about time you at least try on a pair of high heels." Smiling, he thought about how nice it would be if she actually was a natural at walking in dangerous shoes.
Once the waitress approached, Andrea seemed to be closely reading the menu, probably looking at combinations of vegetarian dishes. She didn't have to be stubborn, he wouldn't have hated her if she had eaten meat. Andrea wanted number four, looking at his own menu, hopefully Andrea liked it. When the waitress was about to ask him, both he and she recognized each other. She had worked there for years, and it was surprising that she would remember him, considering how long it had been since he had been there, and the thousand of people that had come in after the last time he had been there. "yeah, it's been a while." Alexander started, giving a look of awkwardness to Andrea who must have thought he had been there way to often for his own good. "I'll have the seven, and water for me too please."
She squirmed a little while he ordered... she didn't know what wearing heels would feel like... but she imagined it would be painful. Her thoughts turned back to her recent trip to the store Juka had told her about, where she had gotten her scarf, and she recalled seeing some shoes that had just looked like deathtraps. Some of the shops out on the street had dangerous looking heels as well, with sharp looking spikes on the back and teeny tiny little straps in the front. She shuddered, just a little. Alex finished ordering, and Andrea forced herself to snap back to attention just as an awkward silence fell over the table.
Alex was the one to break it, thankfully. "This is nice" She nodded, smiling brightly. It was nice. "So.... Anything interesting happened to you lately?" She couldn't stop herself from filling him in... "Oh, you have no idea!" Andrea flung her hands into the air, and her face lit up as she hopped into telling him a few of her stories. "It has been absolutely hectic since I last spoke to you!" Where to start though... where to start....
"You know the gardener at the school? I fell out of a window and landed on him not too long ago... and Carrick came flying out of nowhere, and a shovel got thrown at me." Her hands mimed actively what she was trying to tell, not one of her strong points, but she didn't mind at that point. "I have also met a guy.... He's... a very interesting person." She couldn't stop a light brown blush from overtaking her cheeks, and coughed into her hand. "He is from the mansion too!" She could think of other things to spill the beans on.... but they were far more serious topics. Ones she didn't wish to bring up on a cheerful outing....
"What about you? What have you been up to since the kitchen?" She smiled, and tilted her head as a waiter swooped by and dropped off two glasses of water for them.
Andrea, who Alexander thought wasn't living life to its fullest just kept surprising him. Much to his dismay she got around doing dangerous things, such as falling out of windows, talking to gardeners. It was only when Andrea mentioned Carrick that he would have eventually chocked on his food, had they actually gotten it. "Carrick?" He said coldly, giving a great look of disapproval. First time he met Andrea was also the first time he had met pigeon boy. Though he wasn't aware of Carrick's abilities at the time, he had overheard certain conversations. However he was of course thrilled people unlike himself actually had a life, it would have been nice to fall on someone too. All the excitement just seemed to happen to everyone else.
"Gardener? You mean that German guy?" Alexander could barely picture him, from the times he seen him out and about in the garden.."Well Andrea I can tell you're living it large, but how on earth did you manage to fall out of a window? Did Carrick push you?" Alexander knew it probably wasn't the case, but you never knew. Carrick could have pushed her only to save her afterwards, impressing people in the process. But all was minor details compared to Andrea's love life, he was far more interested in hearing more about this guy she mentioned. "So, Andrea, a guy, you like him don't you?" Alexander said teasingly. "What's his name? Do I know him? What does he look like? Is he cute?" He quickly asked her. If she thought she could talk this away she wouldn't, she brought him up for a reason. She sorely wanted to talk about him.
When Andrea asked him the dreaded and expected "What about you?" he didn't know exactly what to say. Nothing interesting ever happened to him. Surely he could tell about how he just reorganized his closet after their color. He took a sip of water from the glass the waiter had given him. "Honestly, nothing interesting happens to me." He sighed, and looked at Andreas hands, and to his glass. "It's not like I don't want some excitement, but being bored is probably better than going out getting killed." He spoke only half the truth. Getting killed was probably more exciting than reading the same Vogue issue over and over. "I have been thinking about applying to college next year though, and try to get a job in the meanwhile." He smiled for a moment. It had been the first time in his life, after deciding to move to the school, that he had planned something like this. "Do you think I'd make a good meteorologist?" He asked her, unaware about her knowledge on his powers. Given the fact that he hadn't exactly told her.
The Greek giggled, and scratched at the back of her head sheepishly. "No... Carrick didn't push me. I feel asleep in the window sill and knocked my book out and like a fool, leaned out to get it." She grinned, and picked up her glass for a drink of water. "Martin was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, and Carrick showed up after." With a blink, she decided to sidestep any further Carrick related topics. She had forgotten that the two didn't exactly get along. Alex asked her about the guy she had mentioned, asked her if she liked him... Her blush darkened rather quickly. "I-" She raised her glass again and shrank into her seat. She didn't want to talk about Saph like... like that. Alex was already onto other questions though.. what was his name? "...Um... Saphirus." She didn't know what his last name was... if he had one. Did Alex know him? "Uh... I suppose you could have met him. He's kind of tall... rather rough around the edges. He's really fond of swearing..." She wrinkled her nose at the last part. Hopefully she'd be able to wean him from that nasty habit as time went on...
The next question was what be looked like. Andrea felt dumbstruck for a moment. "...Well... um. He's got dark hair... kind of light skin... and-" She paused, her brow furrowing. ".. I don't know what color his eyes are." With a sad blink, she turned to the next question quickly. "He is cute, in a... dirty way." Wincing at her own words, she took a sip of her water again to stop herself from rambling. Not knowing eye color was one things, but she didn't know what color his hair was either. Then again, she didn't know what color Alex's eyes were either. They were light colored... but that could mean anything.
He mentioned his feelings on his own life, and Andrea left a twinge of guilt from having opened her mouth. He spoke of thinking about college and a job, and she was able to smile. "I have been thinking about school as well." She tilted her head, and looked out the window beside them. "Possibly something in acting, or drama." Another blink, and she turned back to face Alex. "Meteorologist? That sounds like so much fun! I am sure you would excel in that field Alex." She pointed a finger in the air at shoulder height, and mimed her mothers voice. "It is with strength, determination, and courage that we walk though life. With those, anything can be achieved."
It was a pity, but anticipated that Carrick hadn't pushed Andrea. It didn't even surprise him that much that she would fall asleep reading a book. Probably because she was so overly used to having her exciting life, that reading books was nothing like living out your own story. Her story would be read by teenagers, and she would be throned a heroine. His would be a book forced upon students to read, eventually making them hate him and it. "At least you learned your lesson, don't sleep by open windows." Alexander smiled slightly, though it wasn't exactly something to really smile about, it just seemed like it was socially acceptable.
By Andreas blush, he could tell that this guy was totally getting to her. It was more than obvious that Andrea felt uncomfortable talking about it, but that hadn't stopped him before. Juicy stuff like this was like drugs for him. She mentioned his name was Saphirus, what kind of name was that? He didn't know who it was, but had to conclude that it was some sort of code name. "I don't think I know who he is, but who knows, I've probably seen him multiple times around the school, and once you show me who he is, I'll be sure to pay more attention." Alexander sat at the edge of his seat, with his hands on the table, with big eyes eyeing Andrea curiously with a smile. She had to spill it, he wouldn't have it any other way. In this case curiosity wouldn't kill the cat. It was funny though that he liked swearing. Alexander wasn't exactly innocent when it came to swearing himself, but he tried keeping it to a minimum.
Alexander couldn't help but to sense a pattern. The way she described him was kind of vague. Was his hair brown, black, or was his skin peach, or suntanned. The fact was that she didn't even know his eye color. This made him even question if Andrea actually knew this guy or had a crush on him, and eyed him from a safe distance. Maybe if she took of the sunglasses, now that he thought about it, she wore them all the time. It probably meant that she had a reason for it. Therefore instead of his planned out questionnaire about just that, he decided to spare her feelings. "Cute in a dirty way you say? He isn't categorized as a bad boy is he? If he is, watch out for yourself, I don't want you to end up with strange gang tattoos and like strange stuff thingies on you, trust me you don't want to end up with a buzz cut and combat boots."
Again Andrea's life, and thoughts outshined his own. That he was planning on becoming a meteorologist was only due to his natural knowledge about the weather. She on the other hand wanted to do something in acting, or drama. If you put it in a popular way. She could star on TV, while he did the local weather report for some clueless weather girl trying to sleep her way to the top. "Well I was also thinking of maybe applying for some other lines of studies, mainly fashion, and design." It was a bit strange that he had to sink to just that just to try to make himself appear more interesting. " He smiled yet again. "You may be right though, I might excel in that field, I seem to have the natural, or well genetic qualifications for it." Sighing he couldn't help but to feel like life was rushing by too fast, but he didn't have time to dwell too much, before the waitress was back with their food. "Thanks" Alexander said to her as she gave him his plate and then giving Andrea hers. He waited till the waitress had gone before he began talking again. "I wonder if I will ever feel young again. I turn 19 soon, And then I have a year of being a teenager left, yet with all that's going on I feel more like an adult than ever. An unemployed adult at that." He looked at his food, not feeling all that hungry, but he had to pay for it, so he had to at least eat some of it. "Well at least the food looks okay right?"
