The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

First day on the job. She walked down the hallways carrying her bag and searching for her first classroom. She was dressed how she would normally dress these days: Colorfull long skirt, white blouche and a pair of glassed on her nose. She was way ahead of scedual seeing as it was weekend and the classroom would be deserted. She wanted to see it first, maybe decorate it a bit adding her own touch to it. She opened the door and sniffed the (not so) fresh air of a classroom that hadn't been used for a while. She opened up the windows for some fresh air.
As the fresh air streamed into the classroom she could hear the children playing outside. It reminded her of what she didn't have but all she could do was smile at the fun the children where having. Playing in the snow with their big wintercoats on laughing all they way. That is how it was supposed to be. She turned away from the windows and placed her bag on the desk as she sat down. She pulled out a pencil and a notebook. She played with the pencil as she thought looked around the classroom. What would she do with it.

Sam let Sammy and Chelsea run around outside for a bit as he went to go the teachers lounge to see if he could still teach the self defense classes he taught so many years ago. “Hope no one filled the post.” Said Sam as he passed a classroom with some one in it.
“You know not many people come in here on a Saturday.” Said Sam a he entered the room. “You need some help with something?” asked Sam as he stood in the door way with his arms folded.

Cailyn was starled and dropped her pencil. She turned her head and looked at the guest. She straighted her glasses while examining him. Seemed to be a young man around her age. Cailyn smiled a bit shyly and replied. "I wanted to see my workspace." She said to him. She looked around a bit and she was clueless what to do first. She didn't have those elementary biology posters or anything. "well i could use some ideas to lighten this classroom up a bit." She continued with a bith of a blushy smile. She wasn't good around boys let alone some guy who worked here. Something popped into her head. "Aren't you cold ? " She had to ask. She ofcourse knew it had something to do with him as things came to her but she didn't know what. Maybe he was cold because it was winter was the most obvious thing to think.

"I wanted to see my workspace."
Sam smiled, “So you must be the new teacher?” asked Sam as he looked her up and down and grinned, he personally didn’t know that they were in need of a teacher he just heard it from some of the other teachers.
"well i could use some ideas to lighten this classroom up a bit."
Sam looked around the room and smiled, “Posters!” was all he said, the walls were bare and the room had yet to have a classroom look and then Sam added, “Maybe a fish tank or a turtle.” Sam smiled and pointed to a corner of the room, “Right there, after that I think this should look like a authentic classroom.” Sam picked up on the slight blush on her face and smiled, ‘Still got it’ thought Sam.
"Aren't you cold ? "
Sam looked at her for a second and then shook his head, “no don’t think so but…” Sam pointed his hand to a bare spot in the center of the room as ice began to flow from his fingertips to the air, as a three-foot tall ice sculpture of a ballerina formed. “If cold you mean that? Then yes, I am very, very cold.” Sam looked slightly confused and walked into the room and made the ice sculpture twirl slightly, “how did you know? You talk to some one around here?”
"That is correct." she replied with a gracefull nod. This person didn't seem to know much about the staff if he didn't know where the new teachers where located. Click and save for backlog.
“Posters!”
She rolled her eyes with a smile. It was almost as if he could read minds, which ofcourse he couldn't or else Cailyn would have a fit by now. He must have some powers to do with cold if that popped into her mind.
“Maybe a fish tank or a turtle.” Sam smiled and pointed to a corner of the room, “Right there, after that I think this should look like a authentic classroom.”
She pondered the thought of a fish tank. Where they even allowed to have a large fishtank in the biology classroom. Let alone would there be fish people that would be offended was the next (in)logical thought that popped in her head. She didn't know if the school had fish people. "I'm not a big fan of fish." She replied hoping that it would not offend people.
‘Still got it’ thought Sam. “If cold you mean that? Then yes, I am very, very cold.” “how did you know? You talk to some one around here?”
She let out a soft short laugh. Her powers didn't fail her this time. "Talking is so last century." She said a bit playfull. It was true, now a days everybody did textmessaging or email or something so nobody ever had to talk to anyone anymore though she did took that a bit differently. "Ow and i don't think you still have it." She said with a playfull smirk letting out a hint of her abilities. She could mes with him if he kept his mind open like that. Al she had to do was look at him and he would feed her thoughts and things all the time any time. This was more of a fun excersise then anything she had done just yet in this place.

"Talking is so last century." "Ow and i don't think you still have it."
Sam let out a small chuckle as he thought; ‘you must be a mind reader then huh?’ if that was the case he would have to be careful what he thought around her less she might get offended.
Sam walked over to the closet desk and sat down, “So when did you arrive at the mansion, how do you like it so far?” Sam asked curiously as he started to twiddle his thumbs. Sam started to think about chips ahoy commercial as he waited for her answer. This wouldn’t be the first time he was met a mind reader at the mansion, but odds were she could easily get in his head if she really wanted to.
If only it worked that way. Surely she picked up things but she couldn't open up people's minds and read them like a book or something. "Pff." She said. "More stuff going on in my head is bad for me, i just pick up some stuff here and there." She continued.
“So when did you arrive at the mansion, how do you like it so far?”
She was just here a couple of day but she didn't have the time to do anything fun. It was just settling in and checking out the important stuff like the haywire sickbay. "Couple of days ago." She answered simply. "I cant say that i mind being here, didn't have much time to do actual fun things here but we will see how i like it." She continued and smiled. She smiled allot when she was talking mostly because it improved the chance of people liking her.

"More stuff going on in my head is bad for me, I just pick up some stuff here and there."
Obviously a mind read thought Sam as he let out a small smile, “Call it what you want but your reading thoughts so that counts as a mind reader in my book. Unless you hear the thoughts, that will make you a mind hearer.” Sam grinned slightly continuing to look around the room.
"I cant say that I mind being here, didn't have much time to do actual fun things here but we will see how I like it."
Smiling Sam said, “There is quite a bit around here to do here…” standing up and throwing a uppercut in the air, “could go to the Danger Room or go to a self defense class…” said Sam as he thought, ‘one that I hope I still teach’.
Unclenching his fist and holding up his fingers counting, “There’s the pool, the game room and anything under the sun on the mansion grounds, and that’s just on campus.” Looking curiously towards the women Sam realized that he never got her name.
“Usually do this before but my name’s Sam.” Said Sam as he walked closer to the new mind reading biology teacher extending his hand for a shake.
“There’s the pool, the game room and anything under the sun on the mansion grounds, and that’s just on campus.”

"Ow." She said with a suprise. She forgot to introduce herself, how rude. She extended her hand and shook his while she said: "Cailyn, nice to meet you." She smiled. "Don't expect me to remember names. i'm very bad at it."
She listened to him summing things up. they al sounded fun but cailyn never did most of those things. "Pool sounds fun but i can't swim." She said a bit blushing. She never went to the pool in her life so she never learned how to swim. It was sad if you think about it. Though seemingly there was plenty to do in this place but seeing as she could not swim and they had a pool it sounded fun to try.
