Appearance
Hair color and style: She has bright fire truck red hair that comes to the nape of her neck in the back and gets longer as it comes forward. She parts it down the middle, and her bangs are quite a bit longer than the rest of her hair, they are a few shades darker red in color. Skin Tone: She is covered in fur, she looks like a white tiger but her stripes are green like a clover. Eye Color: She has emerald green eyes, they are slits like a cat's eyes. Height: She's roughly 5 foot 6 inches. Build: She has a lean toned look, fit and athletic. Visible mutation: She looks like a white and green tiger, she has feline ears on her head, claws, fangs and a 6 foot long tail. Scars/ Tattoos/ Piercings: She has multiple earrings in each ear and a belly button ring. Other features: She has a slight Irish accent, but speaks proper English.
Everyday clothing style: Regan is usually in jeans, combat boots, and either a tank top or corset in various shades of green. If she goes out in public, she covers herself from head to toe and tries to only go out at night so as not to draw attention to herself. Uniform: She's doesn't have one at this time, so she's usually in her normal clothes. Sleepwear: Tank top and pajama pants, or shorts. Miscellaneous clothing: The odd time she will wear yoga pants if she's working out, or a bikini for swimming.
Character
Personality: Regan is very shy, her physical appearance makes her very apprehensive around others. She is very friendly once she gets to know someone and can be quite goofy. She acts like a cat a lot and gets very embarrassed when she gets caught. She is also very protective of her friends. Hobbies/ Interests: Regan likes to spend time outdoors and she likes to grow plants. She likes to lounge around like any cat would, but she also likes to work out and keep herself in top shape. Job or part time job and description: Gardner/Groundskeeper at the Mansion. She also works as the front desk clerk at Colt's Auto Shop. Fears/ phobias/ concerns: Regan's biggest fear is not being accepted, that she will always be alone because of how she looks. She does not like to be out in public view and tries to avoid it as much as possible. She considers herself to be a monster, she isn’t proud of what she is and of what she is capable of doing when she is in her saber tooth state. Regan is also afraid of her saber tooth taking over her mind permanently, if she isn’t able to feed and rest, the feral instincts take over completely and she would go on a rampage, killing and feeding on whatever, or whoever crossed her path first. Special talents: She has a special touch for growing plants.
Morality
Good/ bad/ neutral/ other: Regan does whatever she can to be a good person because she sees herself as a monster. She protects the defenseless, obeys the law, and strains to keep the small amount of humanity she has in control when the saber tooth wants to take over.
Mutations
Mutation description: Regan is a cat in every way. She has fast reflexes, speed, heightened hearing and vision. Her added abilities that make her unique is that when she gets angry or upset, as for when she's fighting, she shifts into a saber tooth state. Her fangs extend into long, extremely sharp saber tooth fangs. She is stronger, faster, and her claws grow longer. She runs on all fours, and heals faster when in this state, as well as slightly increasing in size and muscle mass. Regan is unable to speak when she is in this state as she is in a feral mind state, she can understand what people say to her as long as she keeps her humanity in control. Strengths: She's got all the strengths of a cat relative to her size, and her added saber tooth strengths when she is in that state. Weaknesses and Limitations: When Regan is in her saber tooth state she cannot always think like a person, she becomes feral and primitive, and it takes someone close to her for her to focus and listen effectively. Otherwise she will just protect what she feels like she needs to. She can tend to lose focus on the task and chase off after something or someone if she is not able to keep control. Also being in her saber tooth state for extended periods of time, more than an hour at a time, will leave her exhausted and starving, making it harder for her to shift back to normal until she can eat and rest. At that point, the saber tooth will take over her mind, making her completely feral and causing her to feed her basic survival needs.
Physical Abilities
General Physical Capabilities: All the physical abilities of a cat, these are doubled of what a human of her size could do. She then has the added abilities of her saber tooth state as listed above, which are then again doubled from her regular form. Fighting Style: Regan fights like an animal, on all fours, clawing and biting. Fighting Style Pros/Cons: Her weakness with her fighting style is that when she is in her saber tooth state she thinks like a primitive animal, she acts on feral instincts and that can leave her getting tricked or lured out of the fray. She also has no ranged abilities, so if she cannot get within close range, she can’t do much damage.
History Of Your Character Regan was born in Ireland, but she doesn't know when or where. She doesn't remember much about her past as she spent most of her young life in her saber tooth state because she lived in the wild. A man named Shamus O'Malley found her one day while he was walking through the woods just outside of Dublin. He managed to win her trust over by bringing her meat every day. Shamus took her home and named her Regan, but kept her caged up and charged people money to see the "Cat Child" at his home and at the various faires and side shows that rolled through the area.
After years spent locked up in a cage, a very rich man from America came to see her, appalled by the way she was being kept, he bought her off Shamus and smuggled her back to America with him. He never told her his name, but he taught her how to read and write, and to be a proper person. Regan spent her life with this man she only knew as "Father", and when he died she was forced to make her own way. All he left her was some paper work to state that she was an American Citizen, but she has no idea if they are real, or well made forgeries.
Regan gathered her few things and ventured out into the woods once again to fend for herself in the only way she knew how, but now she just wants to find some place to call home and be accepted. She wants to show the world that mutants do not need to be feared because of how they look. With mutants coming out left and right, she decides it's time to find others like herself and finally live her own life.
Roleplay Where did you learn about this site?: I googled for X-Men RP boards and found it. Do you have any other characters on MRO, if so who: No Sample RP: Regan stalked through the woods with silent foot falls. She was watching the rabbit nibbling on grass shoots with great interest. Her feline ears flicked back and forth, twitching to the sounds of the forest. Suddenly a loud crack of a stick breaking underfoot startled her. Looking back at her prey, it too had been spooked and was gone. She let out a low growl and sniffed the air, the sweet smell of her friend on the breeze made her smile. "Thanks a lot Bob, you just scared off my dinner!" She raised a quirky brow and shook her head at him "Looks like you are buying tonight!"
